WOW! For us, this is the restaurant par excellence in Meersburg! The ambiance alone! Absolutely brilliant! Great and friendly service and super delicious food. We'd be happy to come back anytime! We were absolutely thrilled and can only recommend it! See you next time.

My family and I went to the restaurant because we reserved a seat. it was an easy decision because it was rated as a five star restaurant so why not. we ordered and we instantly found that the soup was bland I also ordered a sprite and the server said “ok a sprite” that clarified that he would get me a sprite. The sprite took quite a while to arrive and when I took a drink it did not taste like sprite I asked and sure enough it wasn’t. So a little bit upset I just ate some French fries/wedges and they were covered and I mean drenched in grease and I mean literally drenched. The price to me was crazy as well, it was so expensive for a small salad. So overall it could have been a better experience.i think some of the five star reviews were bots. Side note: waiters and waitresses were very nice. I did see the black knight and he was super friendly but gutted my father with his dagger. Where please god tell where the dragons fire was?!? Time for the medieval games. I hope I win the archery contest and fair maidens heart

The most noble and friendly maids serve the people. The food is also a delight for the palate, and the walls make the stay a truly enjoyable one. The gentlemen intend to visit this place again on their next trip.

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner one weekday evening and managed to get a good seat. I would still recommend making a reservation, though, as many people were already booked. Despite the nice weather, we sat inside because we loved the atmosphere! The restaurant is decorated with such attention to detail, and it feels like a little trip back to the Middle Ages. We received very friendly service, and the food was excellent! If we're ever in the area again, we'd definitely come back.

The food (cream pancakes) was delicious, but the staff weren't particularly interested in taking drink orders! You practically had to force your way in to reorder – and the place wasn't full! Ordered drinks never arrived. Then no staff showed up at all. So, they couldn't even remind you of your drink order. Okay, we'll just go, what a pity!

The staff were super friendly, the atmosphere was great but the food is not recommended, the price-performance ratio is not right, the barbarian plate for €27.90 is not fair, for a bought ready-made meatball and bratwurst and a small turkey skewer with salad and garlic dip and a few potato wedges the price is really excessive, a shame, I was really looking forward to the evening.

Everything is very cool, just like in the medieval era. The waiters are very friendly. The food is amazing, very tasty cutlets or, in other words, large meatballs. I don’t know if the muskets there are real, but they look very impressive. The menu also has medieval names and is written in old German font. I am really happy with this restaurant and I hope to visit there again.

We spent our vacation on Lake Constance in the holiday apartment run by Drachenfeuer GmbH. We can highly recommend the apartment: spacious floor plan, high-quality furnishings, and a perfect location in the heart of Meersburg with a lake view from the large terrace. The hosts were very helpful and incredibly friendly. We also enjoyed the food in the tavern!

Wonderful, great ambiance, and super friendly staff. All in all, simply outstanding. I've rarely, if ever, experienced such a fitting ambiance and staff that fit so perfectly into the atmosphere. The food is absolutely excellent, and the portions are perfect for my taste.

No matter whether you are a knight, a noblewoman or a peasant oaf - everyone will find tasty roasts and slices of tuber here, and one or two well-filled tankards with the finest barley juice. In a rustic atmosphere, the mob is wonderfully looked after by maids and cupbearers, while they can listen to medieval music.

The ambience was the best thing about the place. The food was good, but sometimes you weren't served for 30 minutes, not even to pay. The presentation was medieval good, the service was very friendly, but also medieval slow.

If you're looking for lobster soup, head down to the Wilder Mann restaurant. If it's too slow for you, consider the long distances the staff have to travel. Good food, very authentic staff.

First of all, the ambiance is great and authentic. I don't know of anything comparable. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the effort put into the restaurant alone deserves every credit. You are greeted by authentically dressed service staff, which we liked. It wasn't just a "dress-up." Mead and other drinks are served in their own clay vessels. Great! We can also recommend the honey beer. As for the food: unfortunately, it's rather mediocre. The cream pancakes are okay (the recipe isn't particularly complex either) and not necessarily sufficient if you're very hungry. The Spiesburger (2 small chicken skewers, a side salad with lots of cabbage, and potato wedges) was okay, but lacked flavor. The potatoes were very small and neither really seasoned nor crispy, unfortunately not tasty for us. The salad was okay. Sauce or ketchup must be ordered separately. The food was convincing and nodded in terms of value for money.

The tavern impresses with its first-class furnishings in medieval style and the clothing of the service and the medieval jargon create a feeling as if you were actually in such a tavern. The menus are also given in appropriate language. There is a good selection of home-style food, vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The food was received very quickly and friendly and also prepared very quickly. The food tasted delicious. Price-wise it was okay. The only thing that took a little longer was the payment process. For one thing, we were sitting in a rather hidden corner and it took a little longer for anyone to come by. Unfortunately there was also a mix-up with the drinks. The entire payment process took about half an hour. We were able to pay in cash and by card.

The tavern shines in rustic splendor, adorned with woodwork and atmospheric lighting that made the ambience magical. The maids and servants, dressed in medieval robes, always offered their service with zealous industry and reverent hearts. The food offering is a feast for the palate, with delicious dishes and drinks. The “Dragon’s Blood” brew is a heavenly treat for the palate that you don’t want to miss. Make sure you reserve a table so that you can properly enjoy the magnificent meal and the warm hospitality!

Thank you for the great time! There were four of us there on Easter Sunday and we were lucky to even get a place. Nevertheless, we didn't have to wait long for the food. The ambience is great, the service is quick and friendly. The food is plentiful and very tasty. Many vegetarian and even some vegan dishes on the menu. A big compliment to the kitchen. Went there with a very large group for a bachelorette party and made reservations early. Staff is extremely courteous and friendly. Can't recommend the restaurant. The price-performance ratio doesn't fit. A salad for 20 EUR? It wasn't much bigger than a side salad. Then we had to wait a long time for a dish. A drink was also forgotten.

We were in the dragon fire as a family. The atmosphere is really great...you feel like you've been transported back to the Middle Ages. The service is friendly, courteous and dressed in keeping with the restaurant's motto. Both the children and we adults all found something on the menu that we really enjoyed. Conclusion: Great food, nice people and great atmosphere: therefore a clear recommendation from us.

A concept that is consistent down to the smallest detail and that is also lived. From the greeting to the payment - jingling coins or witchcraft? You feel welcome and very comfortable as a guest. The candlelight and the handmade clay dishes create a special atmosphere. The menu contains information about the historic house, but the employees also tell you a lot of interesting things when asked. Food was very tasty - we had the Musketeers - and drinks were refreshing. BIG recommendation!

We had a wonderful evening at Drachenfeuer. The food was delicious. The ambiance and service were very fitting for the theme. I would highly recommend this visit, but I would make a reservation in advance next time, as this place was very booked up. A vegan selection is available, and it's very good. My absolute favorite restaurant in Meersburg. The food is simply delicious, you can drink mead (honey wine) and delicious beer there, and the medieval atmosphere is something very special—a must for any medieval fan. I also have to give a big thumbs up to the staff, who are always friendly and make every effort to ensure their guests are well looked after.

We were there on New Year's Eve, the event was nice overall, but they had no plan because of the buffet, when we were sitting upstairs there was no bread or salad, when we asked we said that so much had already been made up, but there wasn't enough back and forth. We left 15 minutes earlier otherwise we wouldn't have been able to see the fireworks at the lake. And when we paid, unfortunately we didn't receive any champagne as promised. Organizationally there is still room for improvement, but we are happy to have experienced the whole thing. It was still nice and worth the experience. Thanks

The Drachenfeuer Tavern in Meersburg is a real experience! The rustic furnishings with candlelight create a unique atmosphere. The food is hearty, tasty and drinks are served in beautiful earthenware mugs. The barmaid makes the visit something special - humorous, warm and with medieval charm. Really really tasty. Unfortunately, ox ribs were advertised both in front of the house and on the menu, but unfortunately they weren't available. Hence a star deduction from the service. There was a beef casserole for that - absolute recommendation. The atmosphere and clothing of the waiters round off the medieval concept perfectly. Gladly again!

The locking is great. The service is good but cozy. It slows you down, which is a good thing. The food is ok! I would rather recommend the cream bags.

A lovingly restored building, which releases its great ambience as soon as you enter and is rounded off by a nice medieval welcome from the owner. Food is not convenience food and tastes correspondingly delicious. Cleanliness (including in the toilet) is visibly important here! Highly recommended!

Very tasty food in a great atmosphere! Very friendly waitresses. But bring a little time, we waited about an hour for the food. But it was very fresh.

As a vegetarian, I attended the New Year's Eve event at Drachenfeuer and was able to shell out €110 for three lukewarm Maultaschen. The ambience is beautiful but very, very LOUD. I had a hard time understanding the person sitting next to me and I felt really obstructed so I had to constantly ask. the soup tasted like nothing and the food was lukewarm. It wasn't enjoyable and after the second glass of sour red wine I had such severe heartburn that the All You Can Drink was just a farce. Summary, poor quality at a high price. I was really happy when I was back home and the nightmare was over. Never again.

After 2 calls and personal questions about New Year's Eve cards, there was no response. I felt ripped off.

We just wanted to have a drink on Saturday without a reservation, which worked out without any problems. The ambience is extraordinary, rustic and special. We'll definitely be back soon to try the food too.
