The people who run this restaurant are very friendly and welcoming. We only speak English but they did their best to help us and even shared a drink with us! The food is great, it is not a huge menu but everything is made fresh and is reasonably priced. It is also cozy, quiet, and well kept. I would recommend everything we had, currywurst, spatzel, schnitzel, and sausage soup. The “white beer” or weissbier is some of the best beer I’ve had. If you are staying near by I would highly recommend

We celebrated our wedding here in 2017 and we have wonderful memories. Note to owners: The parking spaces are monitored by Mobility and the signs are very small. We overlooked them on our last visit and received a payment request of €53 a few days later.

Cozy allotment garden restaurant with a small beer garden on the edge of Westpark

We used to go here all the time with the previous owners. Since it’s been taken over by new owners, it’s really gone downhill. We were going to eat but the portions looked very small, the menu was not comprehensive and the service was very slow so we had one drink and left. We walked around the corner and found a better place with much better service and larger portions.

Roast pork: lukewarm, slices as if cut by a primary school student, crust completely cold, potato dumplings from a large package, gravy lukewarm and tasting like powder. Almost 18 euros for this is unreasonable. I would have expected that at a motorway service station, but not here. Service was quick and friendly. The beer garden was poorly lit. Apparently, so many tourists come automatically that they don't even have to make an effort. The beer is good, but it was poured with 25% foam.

Disappointing...We had reserved a table. After over 40 minutes we could have at least ordered drinks. Food was supposed to take another hour. Dear people, if you have so much to celebrate, then treat yourself to some service. We left...

Nice self-service beer garden 👍 The beer is well chilled and tastes great. The food was also convincing: The Sri Lankan chicken curry was incredibly aromatic and the schnitzel was really crispy - both absolutely top!

We loved going here for a long time, but the prices, especially for vegetarian dishes, are now simply unacceptable: Cheese spaetzle with a small salad: 15.80 Grilled vegetables with rosemary potatoes, two dips: 15.80 The same price as the oven-fresh roast pork. It's well known that vegetarian dishes often cross-subsidize meat dishes, but here it's completely out of control. We won't be going here anymore.
