We have eaten here many, many times now and I have certainly given a completely good rating. The starters were really very tasty! The main courses came so quickly after the starter that the plates were barely cleared. That would still be possible, but to be honest the fish (sea breeze fish plate and zander fillet) were too good. The boiled potatoes were probably warmed in the microwave and had a skin on them. All in all, we had the feeling that we were simply being dealt with and so after 40 minutes we were 90 Euro and were disappointed simply because we know the restaurant completely differently :-/ Service is still great :-)

Always very inconsistent, which we don't like. We've been coming back since last year. Last summer, we could always rely on the food; it was always excellent. Now, it feels like everything is a bit off. Last night, it was okay; for the price, there were a few minor things... The schnitzel wasn't crispy anymore, and the fried potatoes didn't live up to my expectations, thinking back to the old days. It's a shame, you never know what to expect...

A MUST for every SPO vacation, it feels like home. A warm welcome and delicious food with a perfect atmosphere. Keep it up, we look forward to seeing you every time!

The wait for the main course was far too long. Stupid answers to questions. Some of the food was cold. Unfortunately, it was disappointing.

I can't rate the food because we only had drinks. The service was perfect and very friendly. Cool bar music played quietly in the background. Of all the bars we saw in SPO, this was the coolest.

Very good Italian restaurant. We had vitello, bruschetta de la casa, pasta with clams, pasta with strips of beef fillet, and tiramisu. All the dishes, except for the vitello, were very tasty and very well prepared. The vitello was a little disappointing because the meat wasn't cooked pink and was therefore a bit tough. Extremely attentive and friendly service. Good quality wines by the glass. The restaurant is highly recommended.

Steak and pork tenderloin were very good. Staff nice, but could ask for drinks more often. Price is okay.

The host is friendly, the food is okay. Unfortunately, it's not possible to pay by card. I don't think that's particularly customer-friendly in 2025, especially since the fees for card payments are barely worth mentioning these days and there's good cell phone reception/internet service in the area... Under the circumstances, I find it hard to understand the "cash only!" policy. It's certainly annoying for the rehab guests to have to worry about cash for this.

The ice cream tasted okay, but charging €9.20 for spaghetti ice cream when it consists of three scoops of vanilla and a bit of strawberry sauce is pretty cheeky. We got a to-go cup today, and the size was absolutely tiny. If I'd bought everything separately, the price would have been €7. So you charge a €2.20 surcharge to operate the machine? And no, there was no whipped cream in my ice cream cone. I wouldn't recommend it!

Very bad coffee and no milk alternative - unfortunately not recommended for drinking coffee.

Because of supposedly good reviews, we wanted to get duck with 8 treasures and ordered that too. The ambience in the restaurant is very rudimentary and uninviting. Very nice outside on the terrace in the sunshine. Unfortunately, the food was extremely inedible - we waited more than 30 minutes! Very fatty, old meat and with pieces of chicken, beef and shrimp. Very unusual. WORST: the food smelled burnt! And that's how the food tasted, among other things! Thank you and never again!!

The order wasn't prepared as requested, with several incorrect side dishes. The food itself is slightly worse than "standard." The fries are slightly better than McDonald's quality.

Obwohl wir seit vielen Jahren nach SPO fahren, hatte sich ein Abend in der „Sandperle“ noch nie ergeben. Nun haben wir dies endlich nachgeholt - es wird aber gewiss bei diesem einzigen Mal bleiben. Essen und Service waren eine ziemliche Zumutung. Es begann damit, dass nach der Bestellung erst einmal lange Zeit nichts passierte. Dann kam irgendwann das Wasser - und als nächstes weder Aperitif noch Brot, sondern ein Hauptgang. Allerdings nicht der von uns bestellte. Die Ente sei aus, ob man uns das nicht gesagt habe? Die rasch nachbestellte Alternative war kurz vor ungenießbar; der Rotkohlsalat in Essig ertränkt, die Scholle in Öl, das Kartoffelpüree versalzen. Auf dem zweiten Teller lag der Wildschweinrücken verloren auf zerkochten Wirsing und Süßkartoffeln. Zum Dessert sind wir weitergezogen, aus Gründen. Nicht ohne zuvor noch eine Auseinandersetzung am Nachbartisch mitzubekommen, wo der Kellner sich entgegen vorheriger Absprache querstellte, Dessert statt Vorspeise als 2. Gang anzurechnen. So klappt das nicht mit der gehobenen Gastlichkeit!
