Mein Steakhouse GmbH in Sankt Peter-Ording

We ordered 2 ribeye steaks. One was ok, the other was full of tendons. When we pointed out that this would not be edible, the waitress dismissed this with the comment that a new piece of meat would be served. After a few minutes the waitress came back with the comment that the kitchen (cook) had said that a tendon was unavoidable and always on the bone……… When we pointed out that this was not generally and always the case and that the meat was not edible (see photo), we were informed (after about 10 minutes) that you could possibly get a new piece of meat (rump steak or fillet). However, we refused this because it would have taken longer and the situation had caused us to lose our appetite. Ergo, an actually nice evening that was spoiled culinary. In our opinion not recommended due to lack of self-criticism.

A must if you are in St.Peter-Ording.

So we had dinner here today on October 24th, 24, the service was very courteous and friendly. We reserved a table and got there on time, unlike other complainers. We were assigned a very nice place. The order was taken after 10 minutes even though there was only one condition. The drinks came after about 10 minutes, which is completely fine, the food after about 35 minutes was also fine. The food was very tasty and plentiful so we were able to take something with us. And no one had to complain about the prices. Good meat costs a lot and if you can read the menu you can see something like this in advance, it's just not a fast food restaurant. We were definitely very satisfied and would be happy to come back. Don't be discouraged and keep it up. A satisfied couple of guests.

Had dinner at the steakhouse last night, everything was very good, the food was a pleasure, the staff was absolutely friendly, chatty and the ambience was great... Gladly again.

Nice atmosphere, friendly service, very good and tasty food (we ordered burgers with fries and fillet steak with baked potatoes), good value for money! We had reserved a table online in advance. You should definitely do this so as not to be disappointed afterwards that there is no space left. We can 100% recommend this restaurant! I can't understand the negative reviews because there is a staff shortage everywhere in the catering industry (and not just in this industry). It is therefore rather commendable that the number of table reservations/guests is reduced in order to still be able to offer good quality. From our point of view, it is incomprehensible that others complain about something like this and give bad reviews because of it!

It's a rustic steakhouse. The rustic quality is also reflected in the thickness of the capaccio 😅, that was the only criticism I can say. Great grilled, great quality and fair prices. In addition, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. My dog ​​was served first and I liked that 👌🙂

We would have liked to eat here, but despite tel. According to the reservation confirmation (which was not limited to the outside area), they only wanted to offer us a table outside, even though there were still free seats in the restaurant. Since it was already quite cold and not a single guest was sitting outside, we declined this and unfortunately left without having achieved anything. That's not how it works!

The food was very good. Koch understands his craft with love. The ambience is nice, but there is room for improvement to design the whole thing according to the special atmosphere. The staff was friendly, but appropriate clothing should be a given with stylish dining, which was not the case.

There were only three tables occupied at 6:30 p.m. and we were told that all seats would be reserved and that nothing would be available until 8:00 p.m. and that he would be alone in service. Very stylishly furnished. Nice and attentive staff. The steaks are amazing and had the perfect degree of doneness, even in different sizes. The oven vegetables were also great. The quality of the food comes at a justified price. I think the prices for the drinks are a bit overpriced. Nevertheless, all in all a really tasty meal in a great restaurant. Can't understand the negative reviews. We got a table (4 people) shortly before 8:00 p.m. without a reservation and were served in a more than friendly and courteous manner. The food was fried to perfection, rarely have such delicious steaks and burgers been eaten. Price/performance goes together perfectly here. We'd love to come back on our next vacation. Big praise to the staff and the kitchen.

This was our second time here and we were very impressed again. The meat is of very good quality and cooked to perfection, the mousse au chocolat for dessert is a dream, and the service is also good. We'd love to come back!

Took over an hour to get our food. Before it finally arrived, the friendly waiter wanted to take another drink order. The burgers were good and our kids loved the location next to the paddock.

It's extremely good food with delicious burgers and steaks and also good fries. And the service was also very polite and friendly. And the ambience was also nice and there was something to see even for little ones because there were horses standing next to it.

Wir haben einen Tisch reserviert und durften an einem lauen Sommerabend draußen unter den Sonnenschirmen Platz nehmen. Der Service war schnell und aufmerksam und nahm nach angemessener Bedenkzeit unsere Bestellung auf. Die Getränke kamen umgehend, die Vorspeisen dann ein paar Minuten später. Der zeitliche Ablauf für den Hauptgang wurde nochmal extra abgefragt. Die Steaks waren wirklich sehr lecker, lediglich beim Garpunkt hätte es vielleicht „etwas mehr sein dürfen“, aber das ist sicher Auslegungssache. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

In June 2024, we spent and celebrated the evening of our wedding reception together with our extended family of 40 at “My Steakhouse”. The “Mein Steakhouse” is a wonderful place for celebrations of this and similar kind - especially in a family environment with children! The coordination in advance was uncomplicated, the team, the service and the food on the day of our celebration were great. We felt very comfortable that day and would love to come back. We are on vacation and wanted to eat at the steakhouse for four. The restaurant and the outdoor seating area were completely empty and yet we were turned away with the statement "You can only get a table with a reservation" We then left straight away without finding out whether the food was good🤷‍♀️

A wonderful little restaurant that is miles better than some of the "high society" places in SPO. Here you come in as a human being and feel like a king. The waiter does an exceptionally good job and is super polite and friendly, even though he had to serve all the guests alone. The food is extra class. Rarely have we eaten so deliciously and extensively and become absolutely full. Absolutely within the price range, rather underpriced in my opinion for the impeccable quality and taste. We basically celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here and there's the next one, the next, the next.... 😅. So.... all thumbs up and thank you for the wonderful evening in your unique restaurant ❤️

We ate steak. Various species on the map. Supplements must be ordered and paid for separately. My 250g entrecote went back into the kitchen because the temperature was no longer pleasant. For dessert we enjoyed dark chocolate mousse - a poem. With 2 people and 2 beers and the dessert we got around 100.

A perfect evening. The food was delicious and the staff is extremely attentive. The price-performance ratio is really very good, especially considering that we are in a tourist environment. I am very happy to give my recommendation here and we will definitely come back.

I expected better, and I hadn't been there before. Unfortunately, the medium steak was rather rare, the side dishes were very small and the fries in particular were more reminiscent of McDonald's. Small, not particularly crispy and only lukewarm. The service took forever and was constantly mixed up by the waiter. The price was very high for the quality offered. I'm happy to pay for professional quality and service, but unfortunately I didn't find that during my visit. Now everyone has a bad day, but my next visit will probably take a while. Unfortunately, the overall picture was far from the expectation of a great steak house.

Zunächst wurde erneut bei der Begrüssung auf die Uhr anstelle auf den Gast geschaut. Die Getränke wurden serviert und das Weinglas war schmutzig. Das Essen wurde nicht vollständig serviert, erst später wurde der zweite Beilagensalat serviert. Das Rumpsteak, Argentinischer Qualität war fast ungenießbar. Es machte den Eindruck das es ohne entsprechenden Reifegrad auf den Tisch kam. Auch das Argentinische Rib Eye war für den Preis von 39 € nicht herausragend. Der Kellner hat sich bemüht . Das Ambiente war schön. Wir werden keinen erneuten Besuch planen.

Almost 30 minutes later we were able to order drinks while other guests continued to be served. We then chose a starter, for which we waited what felt like 30 minutes and which was very outrageous for the price. Upscale restaurant or not. Then came the disaster. 3 other guests came in in the meantime and were provided with drinks within 15 minutes. We then waited another half an hour for our food while the three people who arrived after us had already received their food. Absolute disgrace. And the kicker is: my friend's food was served cold!!! Either the guests receive their drinks and food within 30 minutes or, like we do today, in 1.5 hours. Absolutely not recommended for me and not for the price anyway. I'd rather go to a Timber Jacks or a Peter Pane, which is the same price but the service is simply top notch. And if it comes now, please delete this post. No, I will not! And should the question arise why we didn't say anything? All I can say is that it would have ended in a pure discussion and all the guests would have noticed. I wanted to spare you this. In this sense, an apology is of no importance because I find such poor service at these prices to be completely unjustified. Then it's better to go to a restaurant where everything is clean. I've never experienced anything so bad and it wasn't the first time in my life that I'd eaten! I would also be happy to respond to your answer: If you can read, you have a clear advantage: It says above that we arrived earlier. Then you should have turned us away or told us. The 3 people who came after us didn't have reservations. Guests probably dropped out and they got the table for it! The fact is. We had reservations and if you cannot accommodate the guests if they arrive early upon request then you must inform the guests. And serving food cold, which seems to have happened several times, is outrageous anyway, especially for the price. At a Timber Jacks I have just as much choice and even more and I pay as much with an entree and a nightstand. Completely exorbitant prices for the quantity!

Unfortunately, as a couple, we were apparently not welcome as guests for dinner. For whatever reason. There were 2 tables occupied outside and the parking lot was practically empty, but we were told everything is reserved. We weren't told when. Not even whether we want to eat inside. We actually just wanted a meal and a drink, but it didn't get that far. Well, the 4-star superior restaurant to which we then drove warmly welcomed and served us. Who does not want it, already has it.

First of all: The 4.2 it says is a bit unfair. The boss and two waiters looked around me amusingly and served me excellent food. It was quick but with a lot of time for the guest and advice. The panna cotta was like mom's, a little firm, but you can tell that it was made by cooks with their hands. I'd love to come back!!!

At the end of our short trip to SPO we decided on the steakhouse. The selection was sufficient and the food was delicious. The burger is just as recommended as the sirloin. We would come back at any time.

Unfortunately we didn't enjoy the food. Last Saturday, in the pouring rain, we came to the restaurant with two children just before half past eight. At first there was no waiter or service in sight. So we waited. A friendly lady who was sitting at a table with her companion pointed out to us after a few minutes that this one was upstairs. Then we're up. The waiter gave a short, surprised "Hello" and said that food orders were only accepted until half past eight and we couldn't order anything else. Then he turned back to the table and took the order from a couple...

There were four of us eating. Steak perfect, side dishes perfect, dessert perfect and service perfect! I would also give more stars. We'd love to come back.

Cozy atmosphere with lots of outdoor seating (not yet in operation), friendly service. Quality of the individual components is very good, skillfully prepared. We had different steaks, intense roasted flavors, both vegetable preparations were perfect. Garlic fries are absolutely recommended, they don't even require mayo. The homemade desserts are very good, the Sterling coffee is excellent.

We ordered 3x Köstritzer 0.5 liters. for a price of €6.90 bottle 😳The bottle was presented like a 58 ice wine. Honestly: it doesn't work at all. Beer served in a nice glass or mug would be appropriate. But not like in a Mitropa, bottle, glass please. And let's be honest: €6.90 for a bottle of beer from the box is just not worth it. If you reduce the price, the tip will also work. Or is the tip already included in this case??? Thanks for the very good meat.

The first impression in the restaurant was really very impressive and cozy, but the second look was sometimes very sobering. The food (2 burgers) was very tastefully prepared. The first bite was unfortunately characterized by dry beef, which was fried completely dead. Otherwise the food was okay. The gentleman at the service was friendly and accommodating, but unfortunately he didn't care much for clean work clothes. The atmosphere was very appealing, but we didn't like the cobwebs, chipped plaster, etc.

So ein gutes Steak habe ich noch nie gegessen. Es war on Point gebraten und wurde sogar gewürzt, wie der Gast "Stopp" gesagt hat. Ich hätte 400g bestellen sollen anstatt 300g, auch die Pommes waren sehr gut, darin besteht kein Zweifel. Ganz besonders interessant und genüßlich fand ich das Kräuterbrot, von dem es zwei verschiedene gab, und das, anscheinend hauseigene, Speckbrot, welches zu Aioli super gepasst hat. Ich habe mich sehr über das Essen gefreut und freue mich ebenso auf das nächste Mal, dass ich dort wieder vorbeischauen kann.

Nice location in an offside area of St. Peter-Ording with less parking at their ground, but more with a short walking distance nearby a cemetery. Great old building remodeled to perfection with outside seating and two story inside. The menu is for meat lovers and offers a wide range of argentinian and australian steaks 🥩 , pork and chicken. We‘ve ordered - 350g sirloin medium with garlic bread and mixed veggies = 5* - 400g ribeye medium (€40) with a baked potatoes and sour cream (€5) = 3,5* (steak goes a way to rare, so that the fat had less chance to burn and it stay a little tough); sourcream and small potatoe was very good! Because of high priced drinks (f.e. 0,5 l mineral water for €6), the total impression of this restaurant goes down, too (3,5-4*)

Das Ambiente war super, die Bedienung etwas merkwürdig und total stressig obwohl nichts los war. Gruß aus der Küche war lecker, der Wagyu Burger ok bis gut, dass Surf and Turf Rindfleisch meiner Frau leider kalt. Preislich dezent übertrieben, da selbst Ketchup extra kostet. Wenn ein hoher Preisniveau dann muss auch die Leistung stimmen!

Super liebe Bedienung, schönes Ambiente, das Essen für die Qualität zu teuer. Wären die Beilagen im Preis mit drinn , wäre es ok , aber so ist es einfach überteuert. Vielleicht die Preispolitik ein bisschen überdenken, sonst kommen wir nicht wieder.

Einfach sehr liebe Servicekraft und tolles Ambiente!!! Steackteller war sehr gut mit Knoblauch Pommes. Steaks waren genau Medium und sehr zart.. Einen Kritikpunkt habe ich dennoch, am Wochenende wär es von Vorteil eine Servicekraft mehr zu haben. Allein als ich dort war mussten mehrere Kunden abgewiesen werden oder auf 19:30 - 20:00 Uhr vertröstet werden was für viele einfach zu spät ist. Es ist immer wieder schön dort und wirklich köstlich!

Das Steakhaus liegt etwas abseits der Hauptstraßen, ist aber gut zu finden. Parkplätze sind hinterm Haus. Wir hatten Online reserviert. Hat ohne Probleme geklappt. Zum Essen. Es soll nach dem Baukasten-Prinzip gewählt werden. D.h. Hauptgang, Beilage, Gemüse, Souce, etc. Kostet alles separat. Das wird ganz schnell richtig teuer. In verschiedenen Rezensionen werden Bilder der Steakplatte gezeigt. Die sind nicht mehr aktuell. Die Portionen sind geschrumpft. Die Qualität des Hauptgangs (Steak) ist sehr gut, die der Beilagen okay aber nicht überragend! Fazit: Viel zu teuer für das was man bekommt selbst für St.Peter Ordinger Verhältnisse!

Ein wunderschönes Ambiente. Die Bedienung war außergewöhnlich aufmerksam und freundlich (ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein!). Großartig! Vorspeise, Beilagen, Fleisch, Wein… einfach perfekt und stimmig. Wir hatten einen genussvollen Abend, der uns lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird.

Wir hatten Lust auf Steaks. Da war es unumgänglich „Mein Steakhouse“ zu probieren. Reservierung für 2 Pwrsonen online war kein Problem. Bestätigung kam schnell. Liegt etwas außerhalb, ist aber sehr gut zu erreichen. Ambiente war sehr angenehm und thematisch passend. Das Restaurant war gut besetzt und von Paaren bis Familien mit Kindern war alles dabei. Auch Hunde erhalten Eintritt. Die Karte ist hochpreisig, aber das ist nichts, was einem etwas Recherche im Netzt nicht verrät. Für ein gutes Steak gebe ich aber gerne etwas mehr aus, wenn die Qualität stimmt. Und hier war das der Fall. Filetsteak mit Beilagen war gut. Klasse fanden wir, dass man die Größe nach Hunger und Geldbeutel aussuchen kann. Die Gargrade waren sehr gut getroffen. Auch mein Rib Eye war auf dem Punkt und sehr lecker. Die Beilagen werden extra berechnet, aber so kann jeder sich sein Gericht perfekt zusammenstellen. Alles in allem waren wir super zufrieden. Der Chardonnay sei noch erwähnt, der wirklich klasse war. Hier gehen wir wieder hin. 👍🏻

Als Gäste vom Campingplatz sind wir schon oft am Restaurant vorbeigegangen, aber erst heute waren wir mal dort zum Essen. Die Onlinereservierung hat problemlos funktioniert. Das Ambiente war sehr gemütlich. Die Dame im Service war sehr freundlich und total aufmerksam. Leider ist das in anderen Restaurants mittlerweile eine Seltenheit geworden. Das Essen hat uns richtig, richtig gut geschmeckt. Auch das selbstgebackene Brot mit dem Hausdip war sehr gut. Wir sind regelmäßig in SPO und wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, das Essen ist sehr gut, die Bedienung sehr freundlich, dieses Restaurant ist nur zu empfehlen.

Hier kann man wirklich nicht meckern. Preislich ist das Steakhaus für die Qualität die man hier bekommt, völlig gerechtfertigt. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend und kann einem jede Frage beantworten. Dass Fleisch und auch die Beilagen überzeugen, sowohl vom Geschmack als auch von der Menge. Wer seinem Körper einfach mal was gutes gönnen möchte, ohne auf den Geschmack zu verzichten, der ist hier genau richtig. Die Sanitärbereiche sind schön sauber und alles in allem ist auch der Rest des Restaurants sehr gepflegt.
