A large portion of duck with deliciously prepared vegetables. The delicious sauce was served separately, keeping the duck nice and crispy. We received a very friendly welcome and service. Asia Mei is highly recommended.

Given this location and the value for money, you shouldn't expect an Asian gourmet temple. We went there twice: once for dinner and once for lunch. Totally fine.

If you want to eat well, you should look elsewhere, in my opinion. The price-performance ratio isn't right. The sauce tastes like canned food.

We were here for the first time today. The food was delicious and the service extremely friendly. We waited about 10 minutes for the starter. The main course came very quickly after that. The restrooms are clean. The decor may be dated, but that doesn't affect the food or service in any way. 😉 If we ever come back, we'll be back.

We wanted to try the food today and brought two boxes. DISGRACEFUL Duck with rice: the only thing that was okay was the duck. The rice was fried, but with no sauce and canned vegetables. It was very dry. There was egg mixed into the rice, which is unacceptable! Chicken with fried noodles: the noodles were again without sauce, and the chicken was simply disgusting. It looked like pressed meat scraps and tasted like it, too. Never again, simply horrible. There were no vegetables in either dish.

We have been here three times during our holiday. The food was excellent. Although the food was mixed up once, we couldn't complain. I would give it 6 stars. Great food. Great service and a great terrace.

The food was good and tasty. Why three stars? One point deducted because we had to wait 70 minutes for our food on the terrace, which was one-third full (the interior was empty). The same thing happened to the other guests. When the food finally arrived, the manager sat down at the next table, smoked, and blew smoke around the ears of her dining guests. This left us and the guests at the next table speechless. For that, another point less.

I was surprised to find such good food and very friendly service in a holiday hotspot. Enjoy the evening right in the hotel or on the terrace with a sea view. Simply beautiful and one of the highlights of my holiday in SPO.

We were pleasantly surprised! The ambiance is very dated, and you have to be brave enough to walk in. The food was delicious and relatively inexpensive. The service staff was incredibly friendly. The location is great, and the place could be so much more!

While the simple decor is a bit surprising, the service and food convince you to return. The plate is a good size, so you don't have to take anything with you or throw it away. You can pay by card. Reservations are recommended during peak times. We'll be happy to return.

We would have loved to eat here, but left after a pointless 20 minutes of waiting. Before you say, yes, but it must have been busy... No, the terrace wasn't full, and the waitress was completely overwhelmed with a coffee order from a table of eight. The manager had to help, and even the waitress wasn't able to look around. Very tasty food and friendly service. There were four of us and we ate different things and we were all very satisfied. The ambience inside is not really appealing. Tables and chairs could also be in the cafeteria of a retirement home. But you shouldn't let that deter you. Food is top notch.

But whether I'll come again is up in the air, as the owner still has to improve the interior.

The Thai curry with crispy duck is highly recommended. We were at Asia Mei 3 years ago and it was delicious again! The furnishings are outdated and don't suit Asian people at all. It tastes great again and the prices are unchanged. So my recommendation again! And been there again and highly recommended again! Also try Tom Yam Gung and Tom Kha Gai - tastes like in Thailand...

Nothing for a romantic evening for two, but the food is good

We were there for lunch. The tables are generously distributed on the terrace. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were served quickly and professionally. The starters (spring rolls and salad) were sumptuous. The main courses (duck and beef) were served with lots of freshly prepared vegetables and delicious sauces. Large portions here too. At the end there were fortune cookies. Unfortunately, we only tried the restaurant on the last day of our vacation. We would definitely have come back in the evening. Thank you for the delicious food and the good service.

The food was quite tasty and attractively prepared. Unfortunately the service was poor. Everything took a long time, from ordering to preparing the cutlery, serving the drinks and also the food. Packing leftover food to take away costs 50 cents. I find that cheeky, especially when several people ate there. I've never had to pay for takeaway packaging. We definitely won't be eating there again.

Well... Let's be honest, if there's nothing going on at lunch, you should think about why. And I mean that for the future visitor, not the owners. The food is €4.50 noodle box level at best, not particularly great but edible. Drink prices must of course reflect what you pay in rent for the location [...] Cleanliness could be significantly better (dirty windowsill) and the ambience is so-so. What can you say, once and that's it. Overpriced dishes (at least as far as the lunch menu is concerned, but if it's a failure like that, I don't want to spend real money to try the rest.) Oh and the line on the drinks glasses seems to be more decorative than measured. The waitresses, on the other hand, were friendly and really tried to make you come back.

08/15 Asian with ZERO ambience. Since we like Chinese food, we also went to eat here during our SPO vacation. It was a good idea because it was directly opposite our hotel. The interior is very unpretentious. Somehow everything is just white. But it must have been recently painted, everything still looked good. The staff was friendly, but also felt bored. The inside area isn't huge, but there were 3 waiters there who also played around with their smartphones. You won't find any decorations here, nor any spices on the tables such as salt, soy sauce or sambal oelek. Possibly on request. The food, we both had a chicken dish, was somehow totally oily and very over-seasoned. It wasn't my case. On my next SPO vacation I'll give this a wide berth. The restaurant may have its loyal visitors, yesterday the outside area was pretty full around 8 p.m. But it is far from being a gourmet temple.

ABSOLUTE CANTASTROPHE in the catering industry, you can't just put a FOOD that has already been served and has already been eaten in front of other customers.

I bought it anyway because I had eaten here once two years ago, I remembered it well and wanted to eat something warm before my train ride. The noodles were just spaghetti colored with soy sauce, which hardly tasted of anything and smelled badly of some kind of oil. When I arrived at the restaurant, one cellar couldn't take my order and the other cellar didn't know the dish, even though it was written large on a board. I also had the feeling that people were talking about me while I was waiting (unfortunately I can't say 100% because it was a language I don't speak). Absolute disaster, even the perfect location right in front of the beach doesn't help!

I'm often in SPO but this is my first time here. The fried rice was totally over salted and went back. The second attempt was only bearable with the addition of sambal oelek. Service was nice and attentive. Unfortunately I don't see any room for a second chance.

Four of us wanted to eat here. Unfortunately that didn't happen. It was completely okay that the apparently new waiter had written down all the dishes incorrectly once and came back twice. The second time caused concern for the two vegetarians present because rice was ordered without meat and the waiter asked twice whether it was with chicken or beef. At the end he said "okay then rice without pretty, just with chicken." The concern was very great. Then the waitress came, apologized briefly and asked if the four of us only wanted 3 dishes. No, we ordered 4. One person wanted fried noodles with breaded chicken, so the woman said "that's not possible" it was outside in the to-go boxes and in 2 of the 4 menus this dish was also available. She said "No, only for to go" when I asked if the dishes weren't freshly prepared or why it wasn't possible, she just said "that's not possible!" When all the other dishes were also incorrectly noted, we wanted to leave, then she exuberantly asked us to stay and said "I'll do that, I'll make a special exception for you" no thanks. We then left. Accordingly, the quality of the food cannot be assessed, but based on the statements it is probably ready-made meals or pre-prepared ones. Thank you, never again.

Not recommendable. Everything is very sober (canteen). The tables are without any decoration, neither pepper nor salt, no Tabasco, no soy sauce. Long waiting time. I had salad with chicken, the salad was quite soggy and the chicken was cold. My wife's fried noodles were quite decent. Overall, a less than pleasant impression.

The food is absolutely top notch; The portions are more than enough for one person (almost too much), the price is absolutely reasonable and the restaurant itself is sparkling clean. The staff is always polite and quick to serve you. Conclusion: If you want a bit of a change from the typical fish-based food and the numerous Italian restaurants, “Asia Mei” is the perfect choice. Huge disappointment. The three of us sat on the terrace at this restaurant. We were greeted listlessly. When we placed our orders, we wanted to order additional vegetables for a meal. The unfriendly service pointed out to us that this was possible, but that it would be too much effort for the kitchen. I'm sorry, what? Are additional vegetable champions causing chaos in the kitchen? All in all, just a terrible reception with an absolutely demotivated waitress. We then said that we would like to eat somewhere else and got up.

First of all: The service was very friendly and special requests were taken into account, for which there is a star. I had udon noodles with vegetables and tofu. Unfortunately, the entire meal was swimming in fat. If we weren't on vacation here and the next meal wasn't until breakfast the next morning, I would have left the food after a few bites. My husband had duck with rice and sweet and sour sauce, the duck was very fatty and the food did not match the price of almost 21 euros.
