We ate there 5 times during our 14 day vacation. The food was always very tasty, service and value for money were top. Unfortunately the atmosphere is a bit cool. Nevertheless, I would always go there again. The boss is very warm.

Small but very fine restaurant. Very nice people and always a smile. The food was more than sufficient and mega delicious. Highly recommended.

That was just really delicious! I briefly paused at the prices, which are quite high for an Asian restaurant. But the food was so good that in the end I didn't care at all.

The food was really perfect. Homemade sauces without excessive glutamate like other Asians. Wonderful wontons. The service was extremely courteous and the food came very, very quickly. Only the atmosphere seemed a bit sterile.

The three of us had lunch there. There was a lunch dish with a starter and a main course at a reasonable price, depending on the dish for around 14 to 16 euros. I had the duck breast dish and my two companions ordered pasta with chicken. The vegetables were beautifully prepared. Not so softly cooked, but tasty and crunchy. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Nice staff and delicious too. Come back here tomorrow... It's been 11 months since we were in St. Peter-Ording. Arrived again today and of course went straight back to Asia Mei. It tastes great again and the prices are unchanged. So my recommendation again! And been there again and highly recommended again! Also try Tom Yam Gung and Tom Kha Gai - tastes like in Thailand...

Nothing for a romantic evening for two, but the food is good

We were there for lunch. The tables are generously distributed on the terrace. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were served quickly and professionally. The starters (spring rolls and salad) were sumptuous. The main courses (duck and beef) were served with lots of freshly prepared vegetables and delicious sauces. Large portions here too. At the end there were fortune cookies. Unfortunately, we only tried the restaurant on the last day of our vacation. We would definitely have come back in the evening. Thank you for the delicious food and the good service.

The ambience is not typically Asian, the focus here is definitely on the food. We'd love to come back.

The food was quite tasty and attractively prepared. Unfortunately the service was poor. Everything took a long time, from ordering to preparing the cutlery, serving the drinks and also the food. Packing leftover food to take away costs 50 cents. I find that cheeky, especially when several people ate there. I've never had to pay for takeaway packaging. We definitely won't be eating there again.

Well... Let's be honest, if there's nothing going on at lunch, you should think about why. And I mean that for the future visitor, not the owners. The food is €4.50 noodle box level at best, not particularly great but edible. Drink prices must of course reflect what you pay in rent for the location [...] Cleanliness could be significantly better (dirty windowsill) and the ambience is so-so. What can you say, once and that's it. Overpriced dishes (at least as far as the lunch menu is concerned, but if it's a failure like that, I don't want to spend real money to try the rest.) Oh and the line on the drinks glasses seems to be more decorative than measured. The waitresses, on the other hand, were friendly and really tried to make you come back.

08/15 Asian with ZERO ambience. Since we like Chinese food, we also went to eat here during our SPO vacation. It was a good idea because it was directly opposite our hotel. The interior is very unpretentious. Somehow everything is just white. But it must have been recently painted, everything still looked good. The staff was friendly, but also felt bored. The inside area isn't huge, but there were 3 waiters there who also played around with their smartphones. You won't find any decorations here, nor any spices on the tables such as salt, soy sauce or sambal oelek. Possibly on request. The food, we both had a chicken dish, was somehow totally oily and very over-seasoned. It wasn't my case. On my next SPO vacation I'll give this a wide berth. The restaurant may have its loyal visitors, yesterday the outside area was pretty full around 8 p.m. But it is far from being a gourmet temple.

In and of itself the food was very good. Since we sat outside, I can't say much about the inside. The meal didn't take too long and was really tasty. Now the question certainly arises as to why only 2 stars. The reason for this is what I witnessed happened at the 2 tables next to me. The waitress swapped the meals of the two tables. The customers noticed it after the first few bites and complained about it. NOW COMES THE BANG, instead of cooking the food again, the waiter took the plates away, brought them back after 30 seconds and placed them in front of the others. ABSOLUTE CANTASTROPHE in the catering industry, you can't just put a FOOD that has already been served and has already been eaten in front of other customers.

The food was very good, we were there twice, the first time everything was great, the service was friendly and attentive, the second time we ordered our drinks ourselves from the waitress and felt "forgotten".

Four of us had dinner today. The lunch menu was plentiful and super tasty. The food was also still nice and hot.

The to-go box with fried noodles (without meat) is simply expensive at 7.50 euros - I live in Hamburg and even there you can get this dish cheaper everywhere. I bought it anyway because I had eaten here once two years ago, I remembered it well and wanted to eat something warm before my train ride. The noodles were just spaghetti colored with soy sauce, which hardly tasted of anything and smelled badly of some kind of oil. When I arrived at the restaurant, one cellar couldn't take my order and the other cellar didn't know the dish, even though it was written large on a board. I also had the feeling that people were talking about me while I was waiting (unfortunately I can't say 100% because it was a language I don't speak). Absolute disaster, even the perfect location right in front of the beach doesn't help!

Came across this restaurant by chance. We were lucky and were assigned a table. It was almost completely occupied. Friendly welcome. Fast service and super delicious food.

In my opinion the portions are a joke, I know otherwise. That's why the price performance doesn't fit either. The smallest reordering didn't work, just like a correct receipt. Not for me anymore...

I'm often in SPO but this is my first time here. The fried rice was totally over salted and went back. The second attempt was only bearable with the addition of sambal oelek. Service was nice and attentive. Unfortunately I don't see any room for a second chance.

Four of us wanted to eat here. Unfortunately that didn't happen. It was completely okay that the apparently new waiter had written down all the dishes incorrectly once and came back twice. The second time caused concern for the two vegetarians present because rice was ordered without meat and the waiter asked twice whether it was with chicken or beef. At the end he said "okay then rice without pretty, just with chicken." The concern was very great. Then the waitress came, apologized briefly and asked if the four of us only wanted 3 dishes. No, we ordered 4. One person wanted fried noodles with breaded chicken, so the woman said "that's not possible" it was outside in the to-go boxes and in 2 of the 4 menus this dish was also available. She said "No, only for to go" when I asked if the dishes weren't freshly prepared or why it wasn't possible, she just said "that's not possible!" When all the other dishes were also incorrectly noted, we wanted to leave, then she exuberantly asked us to stay and said "I'll do that, I'll make a special exception for you" no thanks. We then left. Accordingly, the quality of the food cannot be assessed, but based on the statements it is probably ready-made meals or pre-prepared ones. Thank you, never again.

Not recommendable. Everything is very sober (canteen). The tables are without any decoration, neither pepper nor salt, no Tabasco, no soy sauce. Long waiting time. I had salad with chicken, the salad was quite soggy and the chicken was cold. My wife's fried noodles were quite decent. Overall, a less than pleasant impression.

We ate both a duck and beef strips dish within a few days. Both times my partner and I were HIGHLY satisfied. The food is absolutely top notch; The portions are more than enough for one person (almost too much), the price is absolutely reasonable and the restaurant itself is sparkling clean. The staff is always polite and quick to serve you. Conclusion: If you want a bit of a change from the typical fish-based food and the numerous Italian restaurants, “Asia Mei” is the perfect choice. We were definitely not here for the last time! Simply great!

Huge disappointment. The three of us sat on the terrace at this restaurant. We were greeted listlessly. When we placed our orders, we wanted to order additional vegetables for a meal. The unfriendly service pointed out to us that this was possible, but that it would be too much effort for the kitchen. I'm sorry, what? Are additional vegetable champions causing chaos in the kitchen? All in all, just a terrible reception with an absolutely demotivated waitress. We then said that we would like to eat somewhere else and got up.

We just wanted to treat ourselves to lunch. Upper price limit for lunch, very tasty after all. But the waiting time unacceptable; In addition, there was nothing going on inside and the tables outside were at best half full.

First of all: The service was very friendly and special requests were taken into account, for which there is a star. I had udon noodles with vegetables and tofu. Unfortunately, the entire meal was swimming in fat. If we weren't on vacation here and the next meal wasn't until breakfast the next morning, I would have left the food after a few bites. My husband had duck with rice and sweet and sour sauce, the duck was very fatty and the food did not match the price of almost 21 euros.

Food just OK, waiting time more than an hour. The service staff was friendly but overwhelmed and so we only had one drink despite the longer stay. Not recommended, price overpriced for the service.

I ordered gyozas and the fried noodles with vegetables here once to take away. The gyozas weren't great, but the fried noodles were so tasty that I came back a few times and ordered them again. The vegetables were juicy and crunchy, the taste was very rich, and the noodles were simply delicious. I would also like to positively mention the lady who welcomes the guests and takes orders, very nice and warm. And of course compliments to the chef! If I come to St. Peter-Ording again, I would be happy to come back! (And maybe I'll try something new on the menu) Oh, I would also like to positively mention the cozy atmosphere in the restaurant, everything is very bright and inviting.

Finally an ASIAN with good communication. The food was delicious, fresh ingredients and upon request I even got an extra portion of coriander 🥰

It's not easy to rate this store. Bright, clean and modern interior. But it doesn't have an Asian flair for me. Service nice and attentive. I ordered soup starter and main course and was told that it might be too much. So left out the starter. The soup was very tasty. The duck with eight treasures was completely different from what I know. Served in a hot pan. Unfortunately little sauce. But fresh vegetables champions and nuts. Unfortunately little duck. But taste OK. Price performance also OK. But I'm very spoiled when it comes to Asian things and unfortunately I can only give it three stars.

The food is very tasty, the portions are generous. The ambience is rather bare and impersonal. Nevertheless, you should give it a chance. The food is definitely worth it. The service is unobtrusive and friendly.

We have eaten here several times and have always been satisfied, but the owner has apparently changed. We waited 1.5 hours for the food, drinks soon took 20 minutes and when the food finally came it was so hot that boiling fat splashed on our clothes. People even left because they had to wait so long. That was probably the last time we ate there.

Excellent food (nasi goreng/duck with eight delicacies/lunch menu), very nice service, good wine and great value for money. After our first visit, we immediately looked forward to the next visit two days later. We can't confirm the negative reviews, we're already looking forward to the next time!

Wirklich leckeres authentisches Essen, dass keine Wünsche übrig lässt und auch gut satt macht. Mir persönlich hat vor allem der in Deutschland sonst komplett fehlende Hauch von Schärfe gefallen (stand auch dran). Alles in allem ein kleines, auf den ersten Blick unscheinbares Restaurant - das aber auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert ist 😃

Wenn man schon mal chinesisch essen war weiss man was einen erwartet und wir wissen beides. Das was wir heute erlebt habe übertrifft fast alles. Essen Bedienung sehr sehr gut. Absolut aufmerksames Personal. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.

Das Essen war sehr gut, hatte mir nur 2 to go Boxen geholt aber die haben sich richtig gelohnt, waren bis zum Rand voll und hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

Das Essen ist Imbiss Qualität! Hat mit Asien nix zutun! Das Ambiente ist auch sehr rustikal und 0 Asiatisch! Das Essen richt und schmeckt total künstlich!

Wir haben schon sehr lange nicht mehr so lecker asiatisch gegessen alles frisch und ein echter Gaumenschmaus einfach nur perfekt!!!!

Dieses Restaurant befindet sich im Hotel Fernsicht, direkt am Zugang zur Seebrücke. Für alles in allem kann ich sehr gerne jeweils 5 Sterne geben!

Wir hatten zwei mal die Ente mit 8 Kostbarkeiten und es war super lecker und die Portion war ganz schön groß.

Gute Lage direkt an der Promenade mit Terrasse. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Das Tagesgericht lt. Kreidetafel (gebratene Nudeln mit Fleisch und Garnelen) war lecker und empfehlenswert. Das zweite Gericht "Nasi Goreng" war trocken und außer viel Reis nicht üppig angemacht. Sus-saure Soße hat es genießbar gemacht. Aber das zweite Gericht hat uns dazu bewogen. das Restaurant zu meiden. Besser nicht anbieten, als Kunden vergraulen.

Die "Thailändische" Ente ist super lecker.

Wir waren gestern Abend zu siebt dort Essen. Das Essen war gut, der Service freundlich, so dass eigentlich alles soweit gepasst hätte. Bis zu dem Zeitpunkt, als meine Tochter den Rest ihrer Nudeln mitnehmen wollte und wir dann (bei einer Gesamtrechnung von über Euro 200,—) gesagt bekamen, dass die Verpackung für die restlichen Nudeln mit 50 Cent berechnet wird. Auf meine Frage an die Inhaberin des Restaurants, ob sie das in diesem Zusammenhang passend findet musste ich mir dann sagen lassen, dass das alle anderen Restaurants auch so handhaben würden. Mag sein, dass das so ist, und es geht auch nicht um die 50 Cent an sich, sondern um darum, dass man mit solchen Gesten einen eigentlich guten Eindruck eines Restaurants zunichte macht…

Unser Essen, Bratnudel mit Hähnchen und Ente mit Hoising Sauce war sehr lecker 😋 Der Service war sehr Kinderfreundlich und zu uns natürlich auch

Wer asiatische Küchen kennt und auch deren Unterschiede zu schätzen weiß, wird hier mMn nicht fündig. Optisch: Ein schlichtes, eher an eine Kantine, erinnerndes Ambiente. Service: ist da, aber nicht hervorzuheben Gerichte: etliche Mein Ente war sehr knorpelig, die gebratene Haut durch den Deckel der gusseisernen Servierplatte, aufgeweicht. Naja, das ist alles Gemackssache. Fazit: das Restaurant profitiert dadurch, dass es nichts Vergleichbares in der Umgebung gibt.

Nach einer Wartezeit von 45 min kam mein Essen, das mit asiatisch nichts zu tun hatte. Die anderen Bestellungen kamen dann in einem Zeitabstand, dass der eine fast schon fertig war, als dem nächsten serviert wurde. Dieses Restaurant ist wirklich niemand zu empfehlen. Das Essen an sich sah zwar ganz ok aus, schmeckte aber nach nichts. Daher kann ich auch nicht sagen, dass das Restaurant auf eine Küche spezialisiert ist.

Die Neueröffnung dieses Lokals scheint nicht geglückt zu sein. Zwar sind die Sitzplätze draußen auf der Terrasse ein Traum und um was zu trinken sicher in Ordnung, jedoch hat das Essen mit der frischen und feinen asiatischen Küche nicht viel zu tun. Der Glasnudelsalat war schlicht ungenießbar, die Nudeln schon fast verflüßigt und die Salatblätter welk. Die Sauce hatte nichts mit thailändisch zu tun. Die dicken Udon-Nudeln und die Ente schwammen in viel dunkler Sauce. Auch die anderen Gäste schienen nicht beglückt mit ihren Gerichten.

Waren in unserer Urlaubswoche 2x zum Abendessen und sehr zufrieden. Qualität und Geschmack der Speisen waren einwandfrei, nettes Personal. Uns hat die nicht ganz so moderne Innenausstattung nicht gestört. Es war alles sauber und gepflegt.

Ich war während meines SPO-Urlaubs hier lecker essen. Das Restaurant heisst inzwischen shen+. Gleich am Eingang wurde 2G kontrolliert. Ich hatte Nr. 50 von der Karte bestellt: Huhn mit Zitronengras in Hoysin-Sauce mit Gemüse. Es war zu Mittag leer, demzufolge kam mein Essen schnell. Das Essen kam als großzügiges Tellergericht, sehr heiss und pikant, wie die Karte versprach. Das Fleisch war prima gebraten und das Gemüse knackig - einfach perfekt! Dazu körniger Reis. Eine gute Portion, von der man gut satt werden kann. Dazu hatte ich ein gut geschenktes Bier. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist halt nicht Asia like und etwas kalt - schade, daran könnte gearbeitet werde. Mit 12,50€ war das Essen absolut preiswert! Ich komme bestimmt wieder!

Eintritt ins Restaurant - Kein Mitarbeiter zu sehen. Unsicher, ob trotz Corona freie Plätze einfach eingenommen werden können, standen wir etwas hilflos in der Prärie... An einem Tisch aß eine (wie sich dann herausstellte) Mitarbeiterin, die aber von sich keine Anstalten machte, die (unsicheren) Gäste in Empfang zu nehmen und freie Platzwahl zu signalisieren. Das Gespräch kam erst nach unserer Nachfrage auf und die Mitarbeiterin unterbrach kurz ihre Nahrungsaufnahme. Die Getränke kamen leider erst an den Tisch, nachdem das Mitarbeitermenü beendet wurde. OK, da hatten wir nur den falschen Zeitpunkt für unsere Bestellung ausgewählt. Das Essen (wir nahmen jeweils ein Curry mt Ente bzw. Rindfleich) war sehr lecker und ausreichend dimensioniert. Den insgesamt kalten Eindruck der Lokalität haben schon andere beschrieben; empfanden wir auch so. Insgesamt würden wir dann wohl doch wieder hin gehen, weil das Essen gut war.

wir bestellten ein Curry und ein Gemüsegerischt mit knuspriger Ente. Beides war perfekt zubereitet, sah appetitlich aus und war äußerst schmackhaft. Die Bedienungen waren durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Essen wurde uns nach ca. 10 Minuten gebracht. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Das Restaurant wirkt trotz der großartigen Wandmalerei etwas kalt und unpersönlich (was es ja aber auf keinen Fall ist). Fazit: Sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr unfreundliche Bedienung. Der Roséwein wurde in nicht geeichten Gläsern serviert und entsprach nicht der bestellten Menge. Um 17.00 Uhr wurde auf der Sonnenterrasse bei strahlendem Sonnenschein abkassiert. Essen und weitere Getränke geht dann nur noch im Restaurant. Bei so einem Wetter einfach unsinnig.

Das Essen ist mega lecker und sehr freundliche Servicekröfte runden den Abend ab. Das Lokal wirkt auf den ersten Blick ein bißchen kalt. Das Essen macht diesen Eindruck auf jeden Fall wett. Sehr zu empfehlen.
