Gemütlicher Aussenbereich, obwohl zentral gelegen ruhig. Wir wurden sehr schnell bedient und auch das Essen wurde in angemessener Zeit serviert. Bodenständige gute Küche.

We, my wife and I, were in Frieseneck for the second time today. Staff friendly, food great, I can only recommend it. The next time in SPO I'll definitely visit Frieseck again at least once.

Nice restaurant with delicious food

We ate here several times. For us it is the best restaurant in Sankt Peter Ording Dorf. Although it is better to book a table here in advance as the restaurant is always full. We were always lucky that we got a table. The dishes were super tasty and were always served hot. The staff was super friendly. Everything is just great. The cakes and waffles or the apple strudel with ice cream at coffee time were also super delicious. Would love to come back.

Been there 3 times and there's nothing to complain about, except that it would be nice if the staff sat relaxed outside, and potential guests also say that they don't open until 12. And don't just keep the guests waiting, which of course leads to irritation and you shouldn't necessarily make fun of the guests because they're waiting there. It's not very nice. I come from the catering industry myself and guests are our income. Otherwise, thanks for the two positive visits to the waiter, who is probably of Turkish origin, for his recommendations. The Frieseneck was also recommended to me and I can confidently recommend it to others. Just pay attention to the opening times and cash is available, like almost everywhere in SPO

You can reserve a table for 4 people at short notice by telephone. Great, thank you very much for that (not a given on a public holiday). We would be greeted warmly and escorted to our table. The card is very attractive. The service staff were very attentive and very friendly. Food was great. We can only give a clear recommendation...and will definitely come back...PS...the fact that you can only pay with cash is clearly communicated on the internet and at the door...

Maybe we had a bad day... However, we won't visit the restaurant again. Plaice was ok. Farmer's breakfast - left me almost speechless. Eggs, potatoes, - dry - a slice of raw ham - no bacon, very underseasoned, salad, well, as well as the potatoes with the plaice. They weren't really interested in feedback. Service seemed disinterested... With more momentum and better preparation, something could perhaps come of it.

We enjoyed the redfish fillet with fried potatoes and a small salad. The tartar sauce tasted very good with this. Lunch is a bit cheaper than in the evening. The portion is therefore smaller at lunchtime, but we still got very full. We were able to sit outside at lunchtime when the weather was nice. There was seating in the sun and shade, in a beach chair or on a chair. The tables are too small for the beach chairs for eating due to the built-in wheels. What's not so nice is that there's a ventilation around the corner to the left. I found the noise disturbing, so we sat outside the restaurant where you couldn't hear the noise. Unfortunately there was no trash can in the men's room. That should definitely be changed.

As locals, we ate there for the first time and we really enjoyed it. The service staff was very attentive and friendly, so we felt very welcome as guests. At the beginning we had a fish variation as a starter, which was very tasty. For the main course we had an Aperol, which was very stylishly presented and tasted very good with it. The dish was the pan with lamb, which tasted excellent. We now come more often and would recommend every tourist to plan a visit to Frieseneck during their vacation.

Seven of us spontaneously stopped by the Frieseneck this afternoon and got a table outside. We were served quickly and the food was delicious. Unfortunately my drink was warm, but the nice service made up for it.

The small but fine restaurant “Frieseneck” is somewhat hidden from the main street. We ate quite well there, good home-style cooking with lots of fish. We sat outside, so we can't say much about the inside, but it was really busy that evening (nothing was possible without a reservation, but it was also quite windy that evening!). Service was good and friendly, so we felt we were in good hands. Gladly again at any time! 😃

According to our plans (you check beforehand), we had lunch at the Frieseneck on the day of our arrival and were completely satisfied with the portion size, taste and price as well as the friendly service. The price for a Flensburg draft beer 0.3 l at €4 is not to be sneezed at compared to other places in SPO. If someone thinks that the Flens is too expensive at €5.90 (like two days ago), they should also mention that it was 0.5 l. And with a bill amounting to over €100, I wonder what was eaten. We can definitely recommend the Frieseneck without reservation.

Very nice atmosphere, we sat outside and the waiter came straight away. Extra requests were also well received. What I found particularly nice was that after it was explained that the dishes we had ordered were a bit more expensive because of the daily price (crabs), two plates of crabs were brought to us to pull ourselves.

We were here on a Saturday evening around 7pm. I wanted the steak, but unfortunately it was already gone. That can happen. Alternatively, I ordered the Plaice fillet: plaice fillet. Husband had the Schwein fillet in Rahm sauce with mushrooms. This dish was very tasty! Well grilled, juicy meat. I received a plate with 1 plaice fillet, 1 redfish fillet and a piece of salmon with skin. Indicated that I had not ordered this more expensive dish. When ordering, the waiter repeated my order. I think it would be a shame to throw it away, so I said I would eat it. The salmon was decent. The thickest piece was undercooked, I don't mind, but the thinnest piece was bone dry. Plaice fillet was nice, but the redfish was inedible. I don't think it was fresh fish and the oil in which it was fried could also be changed. This was very disappointing for a restaurant in a coastal village. When the waiter came to ask how it tasted, I said that the redfish wasn't to my taste and the rest was just so-so. Can happen. When the bill came, the more expensive fish dish had been calculated instead of what I had ordered. Only 2 euros difference, but still. To compensate for the mistake, he could have taken our bottle of water off the bill. We did not tip, although we always tip between 5 and 10%. Too bad, not worth repeating, not recommended with regard to the fish.

The lunch menu from 12-3pm is great. Perfect portions in great quality at a fair price. TOP! Of course, great food even after 3 p.m. :-)

We had dinner here during our vacation (unfortunately only once 😩). The dog was allowed at the table, unfortunately that is not always the case. We sat outside in lovely weather after visiting the beach. The service is very well prepared, friendly, courteous and funny. The food was excellent, I had the salt marsh lamb in the pan and was very enthusiastic, very tasty and sufficient. My husband had the pork medallions, also in the pan, and were just as enthusiastic; the portion was also sufficient. Our conclusion is that if you want to eat in SPO, you should do it here, it was enchanting, thank you for that!

Wir wollten eigentlich nur ein Getränk zu uns nehmen und wurden danach nicht mehr auf die Speisekarte angesprochen. Die freundliche Bedienung und das tolle Ambiente im Außenbereich ließen uns dennoch einen Blick auf die Speisekarte werfen. Meine Frau bestellte sich Lamm-Filet und ich Schweine-Medaillons. Es war ein reiner Gaumenschmaus. Toll angerichtet und die Portionen absolut zum satt werden. 5 Sterne von uns und wenn es ging, noch ein bisschen mehr. Dank an die Küche, dank an den Service, gerne wieder!!! Vielen Dank

Great service and the prices were unique for Sankt Peter Ording. The shrimp dumpling was really amazing, I've never eaten anything like it. The homemade iced tea with fresh fruits was very refreshing and delicious.

I was here for the first time in 2018 and had this delicious shrimp dumpling. 6 years later it was still on the menu and was just as delicious as I remembered.

We were able to pay by card. Our first service was very nice, but the next one unfortunately only showed up very rarely. My second drink order never arrived. I no longer had a glass on the table. We couldn't reorder because the waitress didn't come to us. After I pointed out the drink I hadn't ordered, there was no apology. Our daughter left most of the food behind and my wife and I didn't eat it either. We were probably just unlucky with the service - but that can happen elsewhere too. But we also ate much better elsewhere. However, the appetizer was amazing!

Wit wanted to stop for coffee and cake, but were sent away at 5:30 p.m., half the café was empty, the cake display was still half full, but “only dinner” would be served. It's a shame when greed is so great that people prefer to throw away food and disappoint guests.

Wir waren mit der Familie zum Kaffee trinken. Das Kuchenangebot war fantastisch. Und, was mich total begeistert, selbst gebacken 🤩 Gebackene Käsetorte, ein Traum, auch die Trümmertorte fantastisch. Unser Enkel freute sich über die frisch gebackene und mit Liebe zubereitete Waffel. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Essen war sehr lecker! Leider schloss die Küche sehr früh und ohne vorherigen Hinweis an die Gäste so dass wir keinen Nachtisch mehr bekommen haben. Komisch war auch dass das Restaurant bereits um 20.30 schloss, obwohl bei Google 21 Uhr steht. Auch dies erfuhren wir erst kurz vorher. Ansonsten waren wir mit allem sehr zufrieden.

Nice little restaurant on the village street in Sankt Peter Ording. It's slightly hidden in an alley. Comfortably furnished with lots of maritime accessories, just right for bad weather like today on Easter Monday. We ate a small dish from the lunch menu - redfish fillet with fried potatoes and salad. The fish is still juicy, fried to perfection and crispy fried potatoes. Very tasty - it couldn't be better. If all the dishes here are so good, then this restaurant is the food recommendation here. We'll definitely come back.
