Super delicious food! And here, Italian isn't just an advertisement; people speak and live Italian. We were very pleasantly surprised by the Italian atmosphere. The spaghetti al pollo, the salmon, and the insalta mista were all excellent. The dolci were the perfect finishing touch, grazie mille!

We were in SPO for the bike race and stopped at this restaurant. The waitress was very attentive. The restaurant was extremely busy, and the hot air was stagnant. The ventilation system seemed to be off or nonexistent. The food was okay. Two days later, we had coronavirus! Thanks for nothing!

Unfortunately no. The service took a lot of time, even though there were hardly any customers. The prices are a bit high, but okay for the location. It was also a shame that the existing heaters were simply switched off despite the cold and wind.

Lokal ist mittlerweile italienisch in gehobernerem Stil. Gerichte sind einfach traumhaft. Nicht nur geschmacklich hervorragend, sondern auch für das Auge sehr ansprechend. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, das auch auf individuelle Wünsche des Gastes eingeht. Sehr schönes Ambiente und eine gemütliche Sonnenterrasse direkt hinter dem Deich im Ortsteil Bad.

Tolles italienisches Restaurant. Wir waren spontan zum Abendessen dort. Sehr gutes Essen und aufmerksamer netter Service, wir hatten 2x Pizza und sehr guten Primitivo. Auch beim bezahlen wurde noch ein Getränk gereicht und gescherzt. Von uns eine Empfehlung.

Please never have breakfast there, for 22 euros only hard baked rolls from the day before and only one kind. Cheese and sausage very dried out. This runs through the entire offer.

We went to the restaurant for coffee. There was a very fair offer: apple strudel with vanilla ice cream and cream and a cappuccino for €6.50. Very friendly, attentive service and great ambience.

We visited the Ristorante, so we cannot rate the hotel. Stayed in SPO for three nights and are eating there for the third time, that alone speaks for itself. :-) The staff is ultra attentive and quick, the whole atmosphere is feel-good. The food tastes incredibly good, the portions are very generous. You get a lot of value for your money and go home completely satisfied after your meal.

The lasagna arrived after just 10 minutes. It was very hot on the outside and lukewarm on the inside. Then we realized they were using a microwave. We expected more from Strand No. 1. The music was way too loud, it was annoying. We won't be coming back.

2.1.25. Unfortunately we didn't even get to enjoy the café/restaurant!! We wanted to enjoy coffee ☕️🍰 and cake with 6 people in the early afternoon, almost all tables of 4 were occupied by 2 people. It was not possible to ask one of the guests to move so that two tables could be put together. So we promptly received a rejection and that it would not be possible to accommodate us. Unfortunately there is no spontaneity and not all restaurants/cafés want to make money. 🤷‍♀️

Rarely have I eaten such good Italian food, highly recommended!

We spent 4 days on vacation at the Strand No 1 Hotel over New Year's Eve. Very warm and friendly. The room was great. The breakfast was buffet style and very varied and very good! The service is very warm and attentive. In the evening you can eat very good Italian food in the restaurant.

Now this is an Italian, Da Gigi. Great ambience and delicious food, bruchetta and pizzas were great, as well as great service.

I rate the pizzeria that now exists in Strand No 1. Food is a matter of taste, so my (our) opinion is of course subjective. We were at Strand No1 a few days ago and had pizza. Very tasty, really well topped, thin dough, huge! As a greeting from the kitchen there was a pizza bread with tomato sauce and pesto, also delicious. Today we were there again and had lasagne, also rich and delicious... And of course the pizza bread. The service was always friendly. Food and drinks were brought quickly. The prices are absolutely in keeping with the world. The furnishings are cozy and, above all, not cramped. In short, if we go to a pizzeria in SPO Bad, it's Strand No1.

We went in April without a table reservation and were completely thrilled. Now in October we made a reservation but were not asked for the name when we arrived and were brought to an emergency table for two a bit hectically. The service noticed that we were not amused. A colleague then apologized and we were seated at the right table. The fine menu is no longer available. Instead, a map in the form of a placemat that is not very clear. The delicious greeting from the kitchen was also abolished. The starter of beef carpaccio looked delicious and tasted very good. Unfortunately no bread was served. The Frittura Mista was high quality. There was no bread here either. The Diavola Piccante pizza wasn't spectacular but it was also tasty. Food good to very good. The service can be expanded.

Super cold shop. Staff seem to be funny when you ask them to close the doors. Limoncello Spritz was tasty. After the starter we preferred to move on…

We were there for dinner and can't say anything about the hotel, so we won't rate the rooms. We really liked the restaurant, especially the food was very good.

Never again... The 2 waffles for our children were still not ready after 30 minutes. The next table felt the same way. That really can't be true. When we paid we were told: "Then don't sit down in a café if you can't wait." The waiter walked past dirty tables several times and then suddenly disappeared. Impossible. It's a shame that there is such a restaurant in such a great location.

Very nice and courteous service. 4 stars for the service because there is a certain language barrier and one or two things fall by the wayside. Absolutely awesome pizzas. Fresh, super-class pasta is processed. Gladly again.

We had reserved and were welcomed very nicely. We were immediately taken to a free table and immediately asked if we wanted a drink. The menus were brought to us with the drinks. Our order came to the table after a short wait, even though the restaurant and the terrace were very full. Ate very well. Antipasto for two people. Very very good. Pasta and pizza are also very tasty. Three visits to Beach No. 1 in a 10-day stay speak for themselves. Very pleasant atmosphere, really nice and quick staff. Food great. We'd love to come back.

A well-attended Italian restaurant in a good location on the dike. I was there alone for dinner. The pasta with scampi "da Gigi" with a few scampi and a small portion overall on a flat plate for just under 22 euros and a drink. The beer arrived to me without foam. Overall, the team makes a somewhat disorganized impression, which is not made up for by the Italian charm and courtship of the guests. Personally, I think the food is a bit overpriced. Some pizzas are available at normal prices.

A great Italian restaurant right on the promenade. Bad weather, so everyone wanted to eat inside. The restaurant was very busy and yet the waiter conjured up a small table for us. All the waiters were very accommodating, the food was great and a grappa on the house at the end of the evening. We'll be back.

Luca app mandatory and incredibly unfriendly reception. Comment on the answer: We were rejected in a very unfriendly manner during the Corona period because we didn't want to use the Luca app as a data dumper. I don't know why I should write anything here other than exactly what we experienced.

We spent 3 nights there. Our room ONE had a beautiful, large balcony with a view of the dike, the pier and the distant sea. The innkeeper was super friendly. Breakfast delicious and rich. We can't say anything about the Italian restaurant because we didn't eat there, but it was packed every evening, which speaks for itself.

Leider hatten wir bei unserem Besuch eine enttäuschende Erfahrung mit dem Service. Nachdem wir unser Hauptgericht genossen hatten, wollten wir gerne noch ein Dessert und zwei Gläser Wein bestellen. Allerdings schien die Aufmerksamkeit des gesamten Kellner-Personals hauptsächlich einer anderen Familie zu gelten, denen mehrere Gänge serviert wurden. Obwohl über Zeit drei Kellner verfügbar waren, wurden andere Tische, einschließlich unseres, vernachlässigt. Als wir - ohne weitere Bestellung - zahlen wollten, wurde unsere Bitte zunächst vergessen, was durchaus mal passieren kann. Doch auch nach weiteren 20 Minuten gab es keine Reaktion, und wir fragten erneut freundlich. Leider blieb unsere Bitte ein weiteres Mal unbeachtet, sodass wir nach insgesamt 45 Minuten bei einer anderen Kellnerin darauf hinwiesen, dass wir zahlen möchten. Das blieb ebenfalls ergebnislos und wir fragten nach 10 Min erneut. Schließlich kam der Inhaber. Als wir ihm ruhig und sachlich die Lage schilderten, reagierte er unhöflich und meinte, wir sollten uns beruhigen, da sie viel zu tun hätten und wir ohne Reservierung gekommen seien. Angesichts eines halb gefüllten Restaurants mit ausreichend Personal (3 Kellner plus Küchen- und Barpersonal plus dem Inhaber selbst), war diese Reaktion für uns nicht nachvollziehbar. Ein ernst gemeintes „Sorry, tut mir Leid, es ist sofort jemand da“ hätte alles wettmachen können. Schlussendlich wurde uns eine falsche Rechnung präsentiert, die keine unserer Bestellungen enthielt. Erst nach drittem Hinweis unsererseits wurde der Fehler korrigiert, was die Erfahrung weiter trübte. Fazit: Das Essen war gut, aber der Service ist nicht in Ordnung. Das Personal wirkte überfordert und unfreundlich, sodass man sich als Gast in Summe leider nicht willkommen fühlte. Schade!

Meine Enkeltochter und ich waren für fünf Tage Kurzurlaub in St.Peter-Ording! Wir kannten das Café Rasmus noch von früher und wollten sehen, was sich jetzt dort befindet! Angenehm überrascht waren wir, sehr freundliches und professionelles Personal, schnelle Bedienung, hervorragende Speisenauswahl, schöne Weinauswahl! Essen war sehr, sehr gut! Wir werden gerne wiederkommen!

We stopped here to have something to drink and eat. The kids had their food after about 10 minutes, but my wife had to wait over 30 minutes for a waffle with ice cream and cherries. After asking several times, the waffle was brought. The consistency of the waffle was bone dry, the ice cream was almost melted and not even a word of apology came from the waiter's lips. Absolute impudence... Not recommended and actually ZERO stars

We had a meal outside on August 8, 2024 in great weather. We ate pasta and bruschetta. It was very good and the service staff were very nice. We will dine there again next time we visit SPO.

Location is nice. But the restaurant doesn't work at all. I haven't experienced anything so bad in a long time. Been there for over 2 hours for a starter and 2 main courses (baked potato and pizza, so nothing special.). We were told several times that we wanted to pay. And then the boss came and counted that he had made 300 meals today. And I just thought you could do 500 meals if it was a little more structured. A little apology

The great central location is also the only highlight of this restaurant. The service and food was absolutely terrible. My husband's fish plate consisted only of oil and even that was tasteless. No recommendation! We won't be coming back

Location, ambience and cuisine all 4 stars. Unfortunately, despite the strong staff, service was clearly below its potential: first ignored for 5 minutes together with another group at the entrance in order to be allocated a seat, then in the end ordered the bill three times without success and after 10 minutes went to the counter to pay . Despite being overwhelmed and disorganized, they are still friendly. In this respect, a good-natured 4 stars in the overall rating.

Disinterested service, we waited forever to even be able to order, which can happen in a busy restaurant and in principle wouldn't be a big problem if the service was friendly. But if you are not even greeted with “Hello, welcome or good evening” but with “Prego” without eye contact, you don’t feel welcome. The salad was fresh and good, pizza and gnocchi below average. The music loud and annoying. Overall we were disappointed and won't be coming back.

The restaurant is definitely not recommended. The operation can be uncomfortable. Very long waiting times (until the menu comes, until the order comes, until the first drink comes). The quality of the food is very below average. At the end we noticed that the dishes on the bill were 1-2 euros more expensive than on the menu. The only positive thing I can mention is the wine list. Not cheap, but nice wine selection.

We spontaneously went to the restaurant for dinner and got a table straight away. The service is very friendly, but unfortunately you have to wait a long time before you can order and pay. Apparently this can only be done by a colleague. The pizza was very tasteless. It felt like it wasn't seasoned.

We went to the Ristorante for dinner. We sat at the tables outside facing the promenade. Unfortunately these were not wiped very clean and there were some cobwebs around us. The antipasti were nicely presented. Unfortunately, apart from the bruschetta and some vegetables, there was little culinary art to be seen here. Mainly sausage and cheese. To round things off, some baguette could have been served, but unfortunately this was missing. The pasta portion was too small for the high prices. The gorgonzola mentioned in the menu was in the pasta at most in a homeopathic dosage, otherwise the pasta was fine. Overall, the prices are too expensive for the service.

We were unannounced with 5 people in the restaurant for dinner and were very warmly welcomed. We enjoyed the selected food and drinks 👍! The staff was typically Italian, as we know it from Puglia, the Amalfie Coast, Sardinia and Sicily. Interesting, modern tableware.

A single employee (probably the boss) had a friendly smile Face, the same couldn't be said of the other employees. No friendly attention towards us guests. No real listening to questions, people left the table in the middle of a sentence and didn't really notice that they hadn't finished making a request. The service from the waitresses all comes across as a bit superficial and listless. The grill plate could use a little pep, no spicy dip for the meat and nothing was offered for the fries. Drink service left a lot to be desired. The only really positive thing...a fantastically tasty greeting from the house was served to us at the beginning. It would be worth it again, but everything else can be improved!!

Went for dinner. Lasagna wasn't good at all. I had it returned without a replacement. The waitress said no to my question about homemade pasta. There was no compensation at the end. I would have liked at least an espresso. Unfortunately, time wasted! As locals, we cannot recommend this restaurant in Sankt Peter-Ording.

We called ahead and made a reservation. We were probably “noted” on site but no one knew where we could sit because of the other reservations. We didn't think it was that great... and only one service employee was committed and on her toes. Unfortunately, that didn't help to fix the chaos all around. The location is great, 2 out of 3 eat really great. But with such an organization - reservation and service on site - we were there for the first and last time. Another table left because they were completely ignored, other tables that came at the same time as us were still waiting for their food when we left.

Restaurant: Ordered a table at 8 p.m., waited 8 minutes at reception until someone came, got a table in the back, totally overheated room. The paper documents are the menu. After another 25 minutes we got up, looked for a waiter and asked if we could please order drinks. Answer: "The last train leaves at 10 p.m." We left there and had a wonderful meal somewhere else.

Three years ago I was able to post a really good review here. Unfortunately, under the new management, nothing is right here anymore... We had booked a table and were among the first guests at 5 p.m. After almost an hour we politely asked where our food was. We were then assured that we had not been forgotten and that our food would come in 3 minutes. These 3 minutes then lasted another quarter of an hour, and our grilled turkey was completely dry and the grilled vegetables were swimming in oil and had no taste. But no one there was interested in that. Last but not least, while we were still sitting at the table, we were basically sent out again with a "reserved" sign and an annoyed look... An apology or, for example, a grappa or something similar at the expense of the house as a small compensation was possible here not expecting. No more! There are plenty of great restaurants here where everything is just right!

We had a spontaneous meal here today with the family. The ambience is very nice and especially from the terrace you have a fantastic view of the salt marshes and the sea. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our three-year-old son was very hungry and got his pizza in no time. The chef even baked them in the shape of a rabbit. Someone understood how children work. Accordingly, my wife and I had a relaxing evening with delicious food and wine. Absolute recommendation!
