Restaurant Meeresbrise in Sankt Peter-Ording

We went to the restaurant twice. The service was very courteous and attentive. Waiting times for food and drinks were very pleasant. Quality and taste of the food very appealing and good. It's a shame that there is now a winter break until March 2025 . We will definitely be visiting again next season.

In all the years we've been vacationing in St. Peter, we've never made it this far. Why actually? Really great cinema: the ambience, the service, the food. 😊 Next year is definitely set.

Definitely recommended for people with a craving for fish. Fresh and generous portions. Attentive service.

The ambience makes you feel good, the food is tasty. I had a Rösti with salmon. I have to say, this was very tasty. The salmon was very tender. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

Simply delicious 😋 We were extremely happy, it was very tasty. We'd love to come back. Pumpkin soup, bruschetta, schnitzel, seafood platter, everything was great,🔝. The best demand was for the stuffed cabbage. They were already sold out. But supplies were just being prepared and we were happy to wait for them. They were mega 👌👌👌

Unfriendly! I was there a few years ago and found the restaurant quite nice. Since I was in town again, I thought I would go out to eat there again. But I have to say, the boss is TOTALLY unfriendly and the employee seemed listless. If you also consider the prices... Hospitable looks different. You can read that in many other reviews too. Then I'd rather go somewhere else to eat where you're treated well as a guest, because we were friendly.

The staff is very relaxed and open-minded and often asks if everything is okay. It's always a pleasure to come back here. The fish plate with the super tasty cucumber salad is simply terrific. I got a voucher for my girlfriend in the sea breeze. But I didn't get a receipt. My girlfriend couldn't redeem the voucher because she didn't accept it. You'll still be taken for a ride. really sad that something like this exists!!!!!

A very balanced menu. About citizens, meat and of course fish. There were two of us there. Service was totally on point, friendly and accommodating. The food was first class. We both ate fish and will go here again. Price performance very good 👍... could be an insider tip....

Nice small and friendly restaurant with good price/performance ratio. We had pierogi and lamb shank and rice pudding for dessert. All very tasty. And our dog was happy about a treat at the end.

We had schnitzel with fries and cucumber salad and a baked potato with dip and herring. It was very very tasty. 😋 Great quality and the price/performance ratio is also right. Finally there was a cappuccino... and I have to say, I haven't had such a delicious cappuccino for a long time. The service was friendly and very keen to make you feel comfortable. We'll definitely be back. There was no parking space in front of the door, but there was a parking garage a little further away.

There were two of us there and we were only allowed to sit inside. Apparently the seats outside cannot be given away for anything in the world and every seat has to be filled. In any case, it totally frightened me.

We became aware of the “sea breeze” through insider knowledge. A great tip! On our first SOP vacation it became our regular evening restaurant. Everything is on point here! A great menu! Whether fish or meat, everything is excellently prepared and tastes a feast for the palate. So conclusion - highly recommended.

Had dinner today with 6 people + dog. It was really great!!! The food (plaice, cod, fish platter, herring, bruschetta & tomato soup), the service (special praise to the lady of the house!!!), ambience, etc... Keep it up, it's definitely not the last time we've been with you!!!!!!!

We were served by the owner himself and received very rude answers to our questions about the dishes and their ingredients. As if you had to know what was used in the dish. This restaurant is entirely designed for quick local tourism. This type of service does not create any desire to come here again. The owner doesn't seem to care because the next guests are immediately on the mat. I can't recommend it.

If you are around in Sankt-Peter-Ording and craving for some good fish, then this place is really worth eating in. There are also vegetarian options available.

As soon as the aperetivo was served, it was explained to us that an orange tastes like grapefruit... in a completely mushy, inappropriate tone, the young waitress explained to us that the other guests also liked it and that we shouldn't behave like that. We then canceled our main course. Never again !!!!

The restaurant is relatively central and easy to reach. It makes a well-groomed impression in a maritime outfit. The service staff are nice and friendly. The food is okay. Both in the mixed fish platter and in the wolffish fillet, the fish was rather dry because it was overcooked. That can happen sometimes... but it shouldn't actually. The tartar sauce and mustard sauce were very tasty. The hamburgers were good. Prices range between €20-30 per dish. Here locally it is in the middle price segment.

There was no food...no response when spoken to...I thought I was in the wrong film...what language was understood there...you have to find out for yourself...then thrown out of the restaurant after complaining. .probably the unfriendly restaurant in all of Eiderstedt...bad...

Delicious, delicious, delicious, but so much!!!. We recommend everything from creamy crab dupe, shrimp kebabs, North Sea plaice, fish platter to herring fillet and, to top it all off, the chocolate souffle... a poem!!!

We were in this restaurant for the first time today and we are just thrilled.

We made a reservation with a high chair for a child. The service staff are attentive and friendly. Drinks came quickly and so did the food. We once had cod with Dijon sauce and pork medallions. Everything was extremely tasty and of good quality. Of course the portions don't look huge, but as a normal eater you'll get enough - see the photos, not just mine. Prices tend to be a little on the higher end, but it's worth it.

Incredibly good quality, the chef knows what he's doing. Great and attentive service. Everything fine. There were three of us there on Saturday and luckily we had reserved. All dishes were perfectly prepared and there was nothing to complain about. Unfortunately there is no associated parking space.

Food was below average, very small portions and overall far too expensive - even for a tourist area. We were also very rudely asked to vacate the table, even though my wife was still there Breastfeeding was 👎🏻

Get a comfortable table for 2 people on the terrace. Service very friendly and attentive. The plaice with fried potatoes and cucumber salad...a delight. Plaice crispy and juicy, the fried potatoes brilliantly crispy, the cucumber salad just the way I like to eat it. Highly Recommended.

Cozy restaurant where you can get fish and meat dishes, maritime decor, friendly staff

Excellent asparagus cream soup and asparagus al dente. Unfortunately no ham with asparagus. Instead, a delicious giant schnitzel. Nothing for the small appetite.

Pretty little restaurant, nice service, delicious food! Of course everything is more expensive in "SPO" - but the salad with fish fillets was plentiful. I think it's great that the salad is already completely covered in dressing without drowning in it and without the dressing just being on the bottom of the plate.

Very nice atmosphere. Courteous staff. Excellent dishes in our selection, unfortunately very high prices. Unfortunately, the cup of cappucino I ordered turned into just one cup for just under 4 euros. But still recommended!

Update 5/5/24 Constantly good service, the food and the coordination with the guest was great, a safe bet if you want to have a good meal in SPO P.S. I recommend making a reservation in advance because if the weather is bad at short notice, it will quickly get crowded inside 😉 Original review 2022: After making a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and drinks arrived very quickly - 5 minutes. Then gave up eating, once a fish plate and once pork medallions in pepper cream - came after another 5 minutes. After ordering. The quality was really great, the taste and doneness were absolutely top.

We have known the Meeresbrise restaurant in SPO for many years and have enjoyed the food, service and ambience three times this week. Neither in the past nor this week have we had the slightest reason or cause for criticism. The - different - food was perfect, and of course the service too! We are very happy with this restaurant and the staff.

The staff was very friendly but very fake, the food was at the table quickly. We ordered asparagus with schnitzel...unfortunately it was schnitzel with three stalks of asparagus...I would have expected more.

We have never experienced anything like this! We were greeted warmly and weren't there for the first time and ordered asparagus with schnitzel and potatoes. After the meal was served- schnitzel with only 3 asparagus sticks and 3 small potato pieces for € 25.90 - we were asked how it tasted and we immediately criticized the asparagus + potato pieces, which were unfortunately very poorly peeled and only lukewarm. One stick was almost inedible and trying to peel it yourself in the hollandaise sauce was rather difficult. We still left some pieces of asparagus peel on the plate. You wanted to tell the chef but unfortunately nothing happened. By the way, the schnitzel was delicious. When we were clearing away we made our criticism again, the asparagus hadn't been eaten, which was significant given that there were only 3 spears in total - we wanted to inform the chef again. Unfortunately, there was no offer to give us anything, no apology or any other gesture. When we ordered the bill, we were very irritated that we had to pay the full amount. When we asked about this, we were discussed at the lowest level and it was assumed that we were just trying to avoid paying the bill! We are more than just speechless about this outrageousness and defamation. Never again and we are often in St. Peter!

+ spontaneously got a table for two on the evening before Good Friday + there was fish and pork medallions (both very tasty) + still fairly priced compared to other restaurants in SPO + Drinks came quickly - We weren't asked where we wanted to sit, which was the case with guests after us (even without a reservation). - got the table right at the front door and the counter, so it was always a bit fresh when guests came/left and also loudly through the kitchen - Requesting the invoice took a while, but that could also be due to the long day/tiredness -

We were in the "sea breeze" twice this week The atmosphere there is really nice and you feel very welcome as a guest. The guests are looked after very, very well and the “little” guests are not neglected either. The food... I had labskaus and lamb shank, as a starter I had prawn skewers... My partner had herring "Nordic style" with fried potatoes and bacon beans, and today a salad with chicken, and crab soup as a starter. Everything was super delicious. We have absolutely nothing negative to say about the “sea breeze”. When we are back in SPO, a visit is guaranteed.

I liked it. The menu is okay and there is a good selection. The staff is friendly and also great. The soup was great and the schnitzel, as you could hear, was freshly made and the cucumber salad was delicious, what more could you want and at fair prices.

Ich bin spontan abends zur Meeresbrise, nachdem ich mir draußen die Karte angeschaut habe. Einen Platz habe ich sofort bekommen. Der Service war zügig und freundlich. Ich hatte die Ofenkartoffel mit Hähnchen. Hat echt gut geschmeckt.
