Very good food, honestly friendly service in a pleasant atmosphere.

Renovated, good home-style restaurant with German cuisine. The portions are pleasantly sized, tasty and regional. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

We came here today based on the good reviews and were not disappointed! Very tasty salad with the great cheese schnitzel and afterwards the Kaiserschmarrn... divine! We really liked it, we will definitely come back. Food top Staff top 👌

Very nice shop, friendly service and delicious food

Unfortunately, despite reservations and the announcement of a larger group, many dishes on the menu were not available. No kale, no duck, no game dishes, no roulades either. You didn't even want to ask anymore. The friendliness of the staff didn't help either. It's a shame that this wasn't announced beforehand, because you don't have to travel there for schnitzel with fries...!

All four people were very satisfied with the different meat and fish dishes and the very tasty fried potatoes. The German cuisine is tasty and attractively served by friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere.

We cannot understand the positive reviews. It takes 30 minutes to drink, although moderately attended. My food (roulade) cold and dry, red cabbage lukewarm. My wife's fish was very dry and only lukewarm. A partial warm-up was offered, but then the other part of the food would have become cold again. So I ate and didn't go back. Too bad.....

We were so looking forward to a lovely evening. Unfortunately my wife was brought the wrong food. Let both go back because we wanted to eat together. When both arrived, mine was cold (probably from the first service). So I didn't eat anything. There was no real explanation. End. It was definitely bad luck, because I think everyone around us was happy. The starter was great, nodic tapas.

The service staff was very nice but absolutely insecure and inexperienced (tray placed in the middle of the table). We had the beef roulade once and the zander once. The zander was already very well done. The roulade tasted good but it wasn't apple red cabbage. Tasted like gingerbread spice and wasn't tasty. For dessert I had the Kaiserschmarrn. This one was far dry but what annoyed me the most was that the cream was sour. I complained about it and got a new one with the comment "I'm sure it tastes better now," but no, it doesn't... because I got the same sour cream again. Instead of taking dessert off the bill, I was offered a coffee because I had already drunk it beforehand. I could write so much more. It was an experience but we definitely won't eat here anymore

I was so looking forward to half the duck. It was the worst thing I've ever eaten. Not half a duck. Something indefinable. Could have been anything else. It didn't taste like duck either, nor did the small dollop of sauce. Really a shame

Always very tasty in the Olsdorfer Krug. I really enjoy eating kale here, nowhere better than here. Unfortunately the kale sausage is no longer that good, it lacks seasoning (I would prefer Westphalian Mettenden). The goose leg is also top class. What also excites us is that our dog is always welcome.

The four of us had dinner at the Olsdorfer Krug today... I have to get rid of one thing. It's really nice to see that down-to-earth, classic cuisine still exists today. Food would be 6/5, the amount of beetroot mashed on the rack of lamb was clearly too little, unfortunately there was no demand during the meal. You could have submitted later. Business management 2/5 (draught beer Flens light because of the event) Sorry, lamb was great, kitchen top!

We have been coming to SPO for more than 8 years. Every day we enjoy food in the restaurant. In 2023 we got to know the Olsdorfer Krug for the first time. This year (last two weeks of September) we went to the Olsdorfer Krug again. The quality is still high and we are extremely satisfied with the restaurant two out of two times. One of our favorite restaurants in town.

We ate at Olsdorfer Krug. Our dog was also welcome here. There are traditional Holstein dishes. The vegetarian options could be a bit more. There is only one meal in the vegetarian category, otherwise you can only order something from the “snacks” or “salads” category. Nevertheless, we found our food very tasty and the waitresses were absolutely friendly and accommodating!

Both fish and meat dishes are highly recommended and extremely tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful. FYI, you can only pay tips in cash, so put a small note in your pocket :)

Delicious schnitzel, fried potatoes super fried. Portions more than sufficient. Since we were there on the first day after the rest day, the phone kept ringing and the service staff was constantly on the phone. That was a bit annoying, but it also shows how difficult it is to get the tables without a reservation.

Unfortunately, nothing great. The fried potatoes were a bit old and the schnitzels were really boring. The Frisian tapas beforehand were really tasty. A little more attention to the main courses would be great.

Nice atmosphere, very good and nice staff. We had pork fillet as a main course with fried potatoes. First of all there was a bread basket as a starter. Everything tasted good and the portions were plentiful. Filet was nicely presented on the plate. We'll be back, clear recommendation

I think we can now say that we are regular guests at Olsdorfer Krug. :) In July 2022 we celebrated there after the civil wedding and since then we have been there at least once on every SPO holiday, and more often. And we come to SPO several times a year 😄 The lovely owners Patricia and Björn are just super nice and it's always fun to talk to them both. In general, they have great staff who usually make every extra request possible. The food itself is also simply delicious and totally fair in terms of price. We always feel comfortable at the Olsdorfer Krug and are happy to recommend friends and family to eat there. For us, you are simply part of every SPO visit. No matter whether it's a vacation or a short trip. :) We're already looking forward to the next time, even though we've only just been there. :) Kind regards and see you soon :)

Good food very tasty and friendly

Very tasty food, friendly service. Minimal minus: the side dish of cucumber salad wasn't quite as tasty, but the 3 main courses, including dessert, were great. Ambience gets a star deducted because we sat in the next room, which wasn't quite as comfortable as the rest of the restaurant. But a big plus was that we were asked beforehand if we wanted to sit there. Very fair. Conclusion: highly recommended restaurant.

We were served quickly and friendly, even though we hadn't made a reservation. I ordered red mashed potatoes with the fish plate instead of boiled potatoes, which was a really great decision! SUPER DELICIOUS! Happy to come back!

In the Olsdorfer Krug, in SPO, our souls also feel happy there, with a glass of wine and good food, there you can forget your stress. My wife promptly ordered Hamburger Panfish because she comes from Hamburg, it was clear that she likes to eat it once a year. I once again felt like eating a salad with chicken breast. The two menus were perfect and we enjoyed them very much. The staff here at the restaurant is also our first choice. We'll be back, that's for sure, if everything works out, next year.

Nicely located restaurant in a quiet alley opposite a museum. The service was great with a lot of humor and fun at work. The food was very tasty and the price was correct at EUR 21 for SPO. But you should make a reservation! Clear recommendation, we'll be back, thank you.

Today we came to the Krug with 7 people. The service was very friendly and quick, we were all thirsty. The food was brought quickly and we were all able to eat together. My food could have been a little hotter. Otherwise it was very tasty

Nice restaurant a little off the main street in the village. Service was good. In my opinion, prices like everywhere else in SPO are simply too expensive. Children's menu (2 pancakes with a dollop of applesauce €8.90) unfortunately 0815 schnitzel Plaice and matjes are great! I think you should mainly recommend typical Frisian dishes here! Service was really very accommodating. Good cocktails, top lemonades etc.

We were really looking forward to the evening. Reserved 2 days in advance. We waited over an hour for the food because the receipt was forgotten. The lamb was cold and only minimally seared. I let it go back. After warming up it was inedible. The rest was just OK. We did receive a discount on the bill. Nevertheless, there is no second chance because the price-performance ratio is at the lowest level. Service was visibly saddened by the extremely poor kitchen performance.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, kürzlich in diesem charmanten Restaurant zu essen, und es war eine rundum gelungene Erfahrung. Das Ambiente ist äußerst gemütlich, mit einem schönen Gesamteindruck, der sofort zum Wohlfühlen einlädt. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um einen entspannten Abend zu genießen. Der Service war großartig: humorvoll, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Das Personal sorgte dafür, dass wir uns wirklich willkommen fühlten. Die Speisen waren hervorragend. Besonders das Käseschnitzel kann ich wärmstens empfehlen – es war nicht nur geschmacklich top, sondern auch schön angerichtet. Auch der Blue Spritz war lecker und ansprechend präsentiert. Das Restaurant war sehr sauber, und die Preise sind absolut fair. Wir mussten kaum auf unser Essen warten und die Portionen waren so großzügig, dass ich danach angenehm satt war. Als der Kellner einmal die Nachspeise vergessen hatte, wurde das Missgeschick schnell bemerkt und korrigiert – wirklich menschlich und kein Problem. Die Lage des Restaurants, mitten im Dorf, ist einfach ideal. Es ist leicht zu erreichen und perfekt, um einen schönen Abend zu beginnen oder ausklingen zu lassen.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Wir hatten das Olsdorfers Filet und sind begeistert. Das Filet war geschmacklich sehr gut und auf den Punkt, saftig und rosa, gebraten. Großes Kompliment auch für die Bratkartoffeln mit Speck. Ich habe selten so geschmackvolle Bratkartoffeln gegessen. Auch das Gemüse war gut und frisch. Nicht zu vergessen, dass schöne Ambiente und den sehr guten Service. Wir hatten alles in allem einen sehr schönen Abend.

The restaurant in Sankt Peter Dorf is located in a quiet street and is very easy to reach. We were very impressed with the food and the menu. Rarely eaten so good and tasty. The menu invites you to come back.

Maybe it's a bit melodramatic, but I'll write it. I had a schnitzel and the first bite brought tears to my eyes. I had a flashback and felt like I was transported straight to my great-grandmother's dinner table. To me, the breading tasted exactly the same as my great-grandmother made it. I loved their food, so that's definitely a positive thing. The salad was forgotten, but I didn't care. I didn't say it, otherwise it would definitely have been passed on immediately. The place is totally cozy, not old-fashioned. I would like to try the other great dishes on the menu, but I'm afraid I'll be drawn back to the schnitzel for nostalgic reasons.

Good restaurant with top service. Yesterday afternoon we visited the restaurant with 5 people (1 wheelchair) and took a seat outside. A waiter immediately came and adjusted the table for us so that the wheelchair would also fit. The orders were taken very friendly and delivered quickly. The drinks were neat and very well tempered. The food was plentiful and tasty. All the waiters were really very friendly and always had a good saying. The restaurant can be highly recommended.

Nice restaurant with nice service. There were three of us and the dishes varied in quality. The chicken schnitzel was great, as were my son's fish fingers. Unfortunately, the roulade was extremely dry and the boiled potatoes tasted like it was ready-made. Maybe it was just a bad day. The rest was good.

It used to be very comfortable and good here. But now the jug has been completely renovated, which means the atmosphere is cool, the monotonous music is too loud, the fried potatoes are cold and greasy, the plaice was like that, and the service was quite friendly. You don't have to go back. !

Were invited there for an 85th birthday! There was Kassler roast with sauce! First of all, an asparagus soup! The fried potatoes came out of the deep fryer! The asparagus soup wasn't bad, but there were no pieces of asparagus in it. So it's probably more from a can! Overall not satisfactory!

We were there yesterday. It was very tasty, the service was great. However, we were very irritated that we had to pay extra for a side dish CHANGE and a small portion cost the same as a large one. Unfortunately, this is not very customer-oriented. A pity. Whether we'll come back, probably not.

We came to St. Peter Ording for a day trip and were looking for a nice and quiet place to have lunch. The reviews speak for themselves! We had two plaices, an Olsdorf poultry pan and the lamb ragout. Everything tasted fantastic. Fast service in a quiet atmosphere. You can also sit outside in beach chairs. Definitely recommended!

There were two of us and we sat in the hall, no atmosphere! Service super nice and fast! We had pan fish and chicken pan! Pan fish was hard and fried to death, chicken was good, vegetables were hard and not hot, I could only eat half of the fried potatoes, the other half burned black. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant!

We had dinner here. The second time and are completely disappointed. The food was convenience at best. There was schnitzel Viennese style, fries and cucumber salad. The best was the cucumber salad. The fries were soggy in the middle and the schnitzel was awesome. Best convenience, about 0.5 to 1cm flattened mass. Completely tasteless and straight out of the deep fryer. To charge over 19 euros for a meal like this is a disgrace. Our company canteen can do this better and cheaper. About 5 euros for lunch.

Ergänzt wird die Karte durch regionale Gerichte zu fairen Preisen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Es war unser erster Besuch und wir können sagen, dass wir auch hier ein neues Stammlokal gefunden haben.
