Very friendly, warm and courteous team, I was served quickly, a delicious pizza bread was served on the house in advance, the like of which I have never eaten at any other Italian restaurant. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, due to the stress, the wine came too late. I would have liked to have had it with the starter, which was really good. However, they apologized for it, OK. One of the best bruschetta I've ever eaten. The pizza dough is indeed too soggy in the middle. The prices are also tough. What I didn't like at all: - It was so hot in the restaurant that it was hard to enjoy the food - Insects squashed on the white wall right next to the table - Animals in the restaurant (the dog next to us smelled so bad that you could hardly enjoy your food Maybe I'll bring a goat with me. Let's see if I can get in with it.

The service and friendliness in the restaurant were good, and we also liked the ambience. We had reserved a table in advance, which turned out to be a good decision, as we heard from other guests that they had been waiting outside for 30 minutes for a free table (as of April 29, 2017). Now to the food: The four of us ordered the Büsum crab soup, which tasted delicious. However, the ingredients didn't quite match the description on the menu. There were only a few scampi included, but no crabs, as expected. The price of €7.50 seemed a bit high to us. My wife had a pizza which was OK. The other three of us chose the tortellini with salmon and North Sea crab. Unfortunately, the North Sea crabs and salmon were missing from the tortellini. The filling was rather plain in taste, but we ate it. We are looking for feedback on the food Overall, the ambience was good, but the food wasn't quite so good. If you like trying out new things, you might find what you're looking for here; if you want to be on the safe side, you might want to stick with familiar dishes.

We had booked a table with 7 people at 8 p.m. after waiting 45 minutes in front of the restaurant we decided to go. Luckily we found a place on the "island" where we could eat delicious food. Therefore zero stars (you have to give one to post) and as a local I will never eat there again.

Far too narrow, far too crowded. Three tables less and would be much more comfortable and you could take care of your guests. Pizza: no thanks. You have to learn that first. There would be more potential.

Es war kein Erlebnis. Durchschnittlicher Italiener. Wasser wurde ungeöffnet auf den Tisch gestellt . Die Speisen : zu weich gekochtes Risotto und zu Sahne überlastete Nudeln. Das Haus war voll. Ausserhausservice lief auch. Vielleicht sind wir von unserem Italiener zuhause zu verwöhnt.

We had an incredibly great meal here. We had already ordered a pizza to pick up the evening before. We liked it so much that we had to eat there again the next day. We had carbonara, lasagna and nuggets for the son. The lasagna was excellent and the carbonara was really tasty (maybe a little too much bacon). Da Gigi will definitely be there again on our next SPO visit.

We pre-ordered food and just wanted to pick it up. We should have been able to pick up the food 30 minutes after ordering, but ended up standing around in the entrance for more than 30 minutes waiting to receive our order. Unfortunately, we weren't the only ones who waited so long. The result was cold pizzas, tasteless cream sauce (you couldn't taste the gorgonzola) with the pasta (tagliatelle spinaci). The antipasti plate was very disappointing because everything was quite tasteless. All in all, not good value for money (super disappointing) and not worth all the waiting time. We won't order anything here again.

Terrace really nice and everything is easy to reach. Service isn't necessarily friendlier than it needs to be. However, a greeting from the kitchen in the form of garlic bread was very friendly. The pizza was too “mushy” for us and the base was very soggy. The price is okay, but not what you would necessarily expect from an Italian restaurant.

Gerade erst in unserm Urlaubsort SPO angekommen, hatten meine Frau und ich Hochzeitstag, und der sollte mit einem Restaurantbesuch gefeiert werden. Das Ristorante Da Gigi empfahl sich durch seine Speisekarte und ein ansprechendes Ambiente. So kehrten wir also nach vorheriger Reservierung ein. Der uns empfangende Kellner glänzte nicht gerade durch Freundlichkeit. Seine Laune verbesserte sich aber zunehmend bei der Aufgabe unserer Bestellung. Wir hatten ein opulentes Fischgericht mit Beilagen und hochpreisigen Wein gewählt. Irritiert wurden wir allerdings durch den „Gruß aus der Küche“, eine teiglastige, nicht durchgebackene Minipizza, die, hätten wir sie verzehrt, schon zur Sättigung gereicht hätte. Das Hauptgericht allerdings entschädigte uns voll. Es war lecker zubereitet, und auch das Dessert (hausgemachtes Tiramisu) war wohlschmeckend. Die Stimmung des Kellners erreichte nach einem üppigen Trinkgeld ihren Höhepunkt, und so beschlossen wir, bei Gelegenheit wiederzukommen. Die bot sich heute zur Mittagszeit. Das Lokal war mäßig besucht und so durften wir hoffen, bald bedient zu werden. Aber weit gefehlt: Auf ein Piccolo Antipasti und eine Pizza Marinara warteten wir über eine Dreiviertelstunde, Unterbrochen allerdings durch den unpassenden und mangelhaften „Gruß“ (s.o.!). Der Antipastiteller war ok, die Pizza aber eine komplette Katastrophe: zur Mitte hin ein einziger Matsch aus billigem Käse, minderwertigen Meeresfrüchten und rohem Teig. Das konnten auch die beiden Scampis inmitten der Pampe nicht wettmachen. Der Ober war diesmal übrigens gleichbleibend muffelig. Fazit: Da Gigi nie wieder!

Unfortunately we had the feeling that we were unwelcome as guests. The waiter had little motivation and the chef was no different. Although we had a greeting from the kitchen in advance, our pizza was unfortunately far too soft in the middle and a bit burnt on the edge. Unfortunately, the beetroot carpaccio was also far too thick and too dry. In our opinion the prices are a bit too high. All in all, more appearance than reality. 😶

However, there was a deduction in the service because the next table was asked to pack up the rest of the pizza and the waitress put an empty box on the table for the guests and left them alone to pack it up. Il locale é molto carino e ben arieggiato. Il servizio ottimo e premuroso. La pizza, elaborata con farine speciali e lievito particolare, é ottima e va provata, anche come antipasto. Abbiamo mangiato la pasta con le vongole, cucinata perfettamente con ingredienti di altissimo livello. Il vino della casa, italiano, é buono e consigliabile. Il conto é stato estremamente onesto. Non vedo l'ora di ritornarci!

Good pizzas, delicious greetings in advance from the kitchen. Spaghetti with scampi and truffles wasn't that special, there was a lack of seasoning and the food didn't taste like truffles. Price-performance okay

Wir können die schlechten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Wir waren gestern ohne Reservierung in diesem Lokal. Es war bis zum letzten Platz voll besetzt. Trotzdem war man bemüht uns so schnell wie möglich einen freien Tisch zu besorgen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen kam zügig und hat sehr lecker geschmeckt. Besonders sei hier der Gruß aus der Küche zu bemerken. Die Preise waren angemessen und das Preis- Leistungs Verhältnis hat gestimmt. Auf keinen Fall wurden hier Fertigprodukte verwendet. Wir können das Lokal nur weiter empfehlen und werden wieder kommen. Allerdings mit vorheriger Reservierung.

We ordered the beetroot carpaccio as a starter. Unfortunately, as you can see in the picture, the feta and walnuts are very minimal. In addition, the beetroot was very dry. Unfortunately you couldn't enjoy it. For the main course I ordered the Tortellini del Capitano. The sauce and shrimp were delicious, but the tortellini had no salmon filling. It was a fish paste, but not salmon. The waiter was pointed out and remained friendly, but kept pointing out that it was 100% salmon, even though it was clearly not salmon in terms of taste and visuals. Unfortunately, my companion's carbonara wasn't salted. Therefore, it is not recommended to eat there.

For SPO an inexpensive restaurant with Italian cuisine. Good selection of delicious pizzas. Pasta portions are very large.

We cannot understand the many good reviews at all. I ate a Pizza da Gigi for an unbelievable EUR 21.90 and what can you say, it was the most expensive and at the same time the worst pizza I have ever eaten... Completely tasteless... The pasta was ok but completely overpriced. The following evenings we preferred to go to one of the many other restaurants in SPO… Meeresbriese, Olsdorfer Krug, Ahoy etc., all of which are much more recommended

As always when we are in Sankt Peter-Ording, we got pizzas. Unfortunately the quality has deteriorated significantly. Very unfortunate.

We ate a pizza there, lots of dough and very little toppings.

We had two pizzas to take away. On the “Reggina” with mozzarella balls and basil there was a leaf of basil and two small mozzarella balls. The “Inferno” was ok, but just standard. The pizzas were baked a little too short for my taste. Overall, the price-performance ratio wasn't right for me. For two pizzas over €28 is steep.

We are excited! As Italy fans, we felt like we were in Bella Italia. The palaver of the Italian, very familiar-looking staff, the friendliness, the ambience (great pictures inside!) and last but not least the really good food at reasonable prices (in SPO you often eat much worse for a lot more money 😉). We were lucky and got a table on the terrace in the evening sun. Despite the completely full restaurant, no one had to wait long. The greeting from the kitchen was fantastic. The pasta dishes we chose were perfect. But the pizzas at the neighboring tables also looked great. All ingredients fresh and tasty. Good wines are also affordable. Espresso and grappa rounded the whole thing off brilliantly. We can fully recommend this restaurant.

We really liked it, everything was right: food good, service attentive and friendly and prices absolutely right. Plan to wait on Saturday evening, it is usually quite full, there was still a free table outside.

Sehr enttäuschend. Der Pizzateig scheint ein industrielles Fertigprodukt zu sein und erinnert stark an Supermarkt-Fertigpizzen. Die Zutaten wurden lieblos verteilt und schmeckten wie Billigprodukte aus dem Discounter, insbesondere die Salami. Die Pizza wurde viel zu kurz gebacken, sodass der Teig noch halb roh war. Meine Tochter hatte danach starke Bauchschmerzen, die bis zum Morgen anhielten.

Sat on the outside patio which was nice to sit on. It was busy, so my order may have been mixed up. However, the correct order arrived quickly afterwards. The service was generally friendly.

Service is different! With all understanding for a full restaurant. Order after 30 minutes, drinks after 50 minutes, food after 70 minutes, bill forgotten when asked and the cash report only came when I went to the door - but it was from the next table!

We bought salad for my mother, me and my father and a spinach pizza for my brother. We threw away the salads. It wasn't tasty.

Two Pizza Tonno were ordered, both with more tuna and onions! Mine had a little more tuna on the surface, the other didn't even have enough on it in normal condition. There was no apology or attempt to accommodate from either side. I think that's bad service!

We love going out for Italian food often, but the restaurant is a culinary experience! Our highlights are the greetings from the kitchen, bruscetta with buratta and dried tomatoes, risotto with porcini mushrooms and fresh pasta with gorgonzola, pesto and scampi and for dessert tiramisu and tartufo ice cream :) simply fantastic! The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The dishes came super quickly! Absolutely recommended. :)

The best Italian restaurant ever. It's always worth coming to SPO for a few days just because of Da Gigi. Today we brought food home. We didn't get any more space. BUT even eating away from home is definitely just as good as eating out there. The salad was incredibly tasty and lots of it. Seasoned with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. We would like to have this restaurant in Bremen. There's nothing I can do to help anyone who complains here... Because the service is also great. There's simply no more. We are already looking forward to our next stay in SPO and a visit to Da Gigi... Thank you for everything.

Price/performance doesn't fit. The food was okay but nothing more. The salad was somehow sweet and didn't taste good. The drinks weren't really cold. The positive reviews are a mystery to me. The restaurant joins the gallery of other restaurants. High prices but no quality.

Totally disappointed. Other guests who came after us were served before us. The wine we ordered didn't come, but they wanted to give us another one without comment. Only after asking did they say the wine was out! We waited well over an hour for the main course!!! And then one of us was delivered the wrong food. So another wait. All in all, poor service, long waiting times, no demand for drinks, staff poorly trained, sometimes bordering on unfriendly. And that with the prices!! Definitely not recommended

Once again I have to write a review in pure text form. I tried again to post the appropriate pictures of the food (pasta dishes) but Google won't allow it, obviously pasta pictures are against the rules. But only in the review here at Gigi, Where else is it normal, I have no idea what Google is thinking, ridiculous. BUT what is crucial is that we are at Da Gigi had a great evening with friendly service and very good food. It was just a bit too warm in the extension on the left. But we can absolutely recommend Da Gigi, better reserve a table.
