We spent two nights at this lovely hotel. Our room was exceptional. A lot of thought was put into the design, excellent cleanliness, very central location, convenient parking for 15 euros per day. The breakfast was excellent with fresh products. We also ate twice at the hotel restaurant and it was very tasty. The restaurant staff provided excellent service. I just want to point out one thing. The receptionist at the time of check-out could have been a little nicer, even when the hotel made a mistake. You can simply apologize when it was the hotel's own mistake. It just makes the customer feel better after they have enjoyed their stay at the hotel.

Delicious food, beautiful view. Parking is sometimes limited. Overall, though, highly recommended!

This restaurant is highly recommended for its excellent food and extremely courteous service and is worth a trip to Flensburg.

Service and ambience are very good. We had asparagus, salmon, potatoes and hollandaise sauce from the daily menu. Dear kitchen, asparagus! - check whether the delicious sticks are really cooked but still have enough bite using a cooking test. To do this, pierce the end of an asparagus spear with a fork or knife. If the vegetable is soft in this thickest part but still offers some resistance, it is done - The asparagus we were served was almost raw, with a bite similar to a raw carrot. Very good reaction from the service, taking back the food and making a second attempt for the kitchen. Unfortunately the result isn't much better. The service response was excellent again, the food complained about was not charged for. Other dishes such as steak or salmon and side dishes were top. Unfortunately, it is now normal that a restaurant without a Michelin star no longer cooks its own hollandaise sauce and relies on convenience products. These finished products have nothing in common with hollandaise sauce (butter, egg yolk and spices). It's a shame that there is no labeling requirement for it.

I've been coming here to eat for years - always the same good quality, top service and great taste. Even as a vegan, I feel in good hands here. Absolutely recommended!

Four of us were at the Hinkelstein on May 24, 2025. It was a wonderful evening. The food was truly amazing, the staff worked together wonderfully, and the restaurant is so cozy and comfortable. I would recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

The service was very good. Unfortunately, I've had better pleskavice. This one was very dry. However, the Djuvec rice was very tasty. And the fact that you can put together your own salad plate at the salad bar is a great idea.

A nice place... with perfectly ok service.. I got a schnitzel with lots of tendons in it.. but the puree that came with it was really good.. the others got something else and they were very excited.. Again poor when you are asked about tips..

An unforgettable evening, even though I don't usually go to restaurants, bars, or similar places. Everyone there was just incredibly kind, accommodating, funny, and in a great mood. I felt very welcome and never felt out of place. What you're doing for the most vulnerable in our society is so incredibly great. I'm completely overwhelmed by everything you've organized.

A real pearl. If you want good food you should go here. Price-performance top. Staff very friendly. Eating is a treat for the palate. Good offer also for non-meat eaters.
