Marie treated us to an incredible evening. As a farewell, she offered us a Flensburg specialty called Betonmischer (concrete mixer). Sooooo delicious.

In short: great, cheerful service, delicious food, and a great location! Highly recommended!

Italian soul food? Well, okay. I can't imagine any Italian visiting this restaurant a second time. The salad 🥗 had just one or three drops of balsamic vinegar on it. - Some frozen pizzas 🍕 offer tastier and crispier pizza dough than the one served here. And when the asparagus pizza served doesn't even have a fifth as much asparagus as in the advertising photo on the table, then that's the end of it... The price-performance ratio isn't right. - The service was nice and friendly. - The location right on the water is beautiful. - There are plenty of parking spaces (for a fee).

A disappointing and disrespectful experience. I visited the Kanalschuppen restaurant in Flensburg to have a quiet coffee and a quick video call with my sister. I sat quietly at my seat and didn't disturb anyone. Suddenly, a man spoke to me loudly and rudely: "It's not allowed to use a video here!" He then said, "I'm the owner of this restaurant, and I don't want my guests disturbed." That was very hurtful—because I was a paying customer myself who behaved respectfully and quietly. The situation was embarrassing and completely ruined my experience. Even if there are rules, it's important to treat guests respectfully as a host—especially in the restaurant industry. I will not visit this restaurant again and, unfortunately, cannot recommend it under these circumstances.

Waited 45 minutes for a pizza and a pasta dish. When it arrived it was cold.

We wouldn't have given it a star, but unfortunately, that's required to submit a review. We ordered a Prosciutto Funghi and a Bresaola Arugula (beef) pizza – instead, we received a pizza that was supposedly bresaola, but instead was topped with Prosciutto Cotto (pork). The cheese was more reminiscent of packaged cheese and had nothing in common with good pizza cheese, neither in taste nor consistency. The dough was noticeably floury and dry – unfortunately disappointing in terms of taste. Even a frozen pizza would have been more convincing. The service also left a lot to be desired: The staff seemed very uninformed and unprofessional. It's a shame, but for us, this was definitely our first and last visit.

Great location, right on the harbor, the food was delicious, we sat outside and enjoyed a few delicious flens as the sun set.

The food wasn't good. The view was nice, but next time I'll spend my money elsewhere. Warning: No Italian calzone. This place uses dough filled with unseasoned spaghetti. If you only list calzone on the menu, please make it traditional.

Nice restaurant - not recommended for eating First, the positives: beautifully located by the harbor, nice restaurant, and decent service. The food: I ordered a pizza calzone, and it was simply filled with (almost) pasta and a little tomato sauce. I wasn't informed of this either on the menu or when ordering. But that certainly doesn't belong in a calzone. Furthermore, the pasta was very overcooked, and the whole dish was incredibly poorly seasoned. In short: it tasted like a baby bottle of "pasta in tomato sauce," and that for €16. No thanks. PS: My companion had the pizza Frutti di Mare - that wasn't exactly a taste experience either. The restaurant advertises itself as "Italian soul food"...but I can't tell for the life of me.

The penne pollo tasted like dry pasta from the supermarket (instead of sauce, some of the pasta was more like pesto, but also dry white pasta), with a few stray short spaghetti in the dish. The pizza crust tasted more like it had been boiled, like it came from Aldi with a good topping. The steak, which I ordered rare, was cooked perfectly, but with so few toppings that there was plenty of room to cut the steak, and it ended up gristly (odd for a fillet). We're heading to the chip shop right now.

One of the places in Flensburg's harbor basin where you can take a break or grab a bite to eat right by the water. Great location, but no service in the afternoon. I don't think it's that good value for money, as I have to pay full price but don't get any service.

We ordered takeaway on Sunday evening and were able to pick up our order after about 30 minutes. The ordering process initially went smoothly over the phone. Unfortunately, we received one of the pasta dishes without the scampi that we ordered, which accounted for about a third of the price of the dish. Very annoying! When we tried to clarify this by phone, we were only connected to a voicemail. The other dishes (pasta and pizza) were delicious. Nevertheless, we are, of course, somewhat disappointed overall.

We finally got something to eat and drink here after a very long drive from Kerpen. Our waiter, Markus, was especially otherworldly. He took our order without a pad or pencil and repeatedly asked us if everything was okay, without being the least bit pushy. We had a wonderful first evening of our vacation here, not least because of Markus.

The food was not recommended. The spaghetti with meat sauce was just spaghetti and no meat at all.

Valgte at besøge restaurent udfra gode trustpilot anmeldelser og den flotte hjemmeside. Få min efter bestilling blev pizza'er serveret. Ved siden af sad andre og røg i det overdækket rum. Skuffet over kvaliteten. Pizzabund med gorgonzola var meget blød og våd. Kun kanten sprød. Gjorde tjener opmærksomhed på det. Men sådan var det, når man valgte pizza med gorgonzola! Ret smagsløg pizza og trist i udseende. Tjenerne virkede ligegyldige. Da vi bad om regning kom der efterfølgende en mere og spurgte om vi ville betale. Vi var der ca. 30 min.

Really good food, really nice atmosphere. Sat outside and we were not more than 10 meters from the water. There were heat lamps so even though there was a drizzle it wasn't cold. The pizza was delicious, good place for Italian food. Definitely worth a visit.

A very nice setting, very friendly and attentive service, and the food was excellent. I particularly liked the slightly oriental approach to the fish sandwiches; I found them surprisingly good and delicious. I highly recommend them 😋

Unbelievable. As a family just returning from child-friendly Denmark, this visit was a real shock. After waiting ten minutes, we were finally noticed. When we asked about a children's menu or a suitable dish for our four-year-old, we received only a curt "no" and uncomprehending looks. The employee then disappeared without us even being able to order. Two minutes later, another employee came and asked us to leave the table, saying it was a regulars' table. It was only 1 p.m., and the sign on the table clearly stated "not occupied after 4 p.m." I have never encountered such unfriendly and unprofessional service. Absolutely not recommended, especially for families.

Auf der Durchreise waren wir froh in dieser Stadt nach langer Suche überhaupt noch kurz nach 21 Uhr etwas zu essen zu bekommen. Der Tisch, den wir uns eigentlich ausgesucht hatten (das Lokal war schon fast leer) mussten wir wieder räumen, da es angeblich ein Stammtisch für Leute ist, die dann aber nie kamen.. Normalerweise wäre das schon ein Grund, gleich wieder zu gehen aber wir hatten Riesen Hunger, also Zähne zusammen gebissen .. Die Nudeln (meine mit Tomatensosse) waren leider völlig überkocht.. die Nudeln für meinen Sohn waren zwar etwas besser aber das war niemals eine Pesto! Ausser irgendeinem Öl (leider auch nicht mal Olivenöl) und fein gehackter Petersilie waren da weder Parmesan noch Pinienkerne drin. Auf meine Bitte, wenigstens etwas geriebenen Parmesan zu erhalten, hieß es, der sei aus.. ja klar. Sorry aber das habe ich in über 40 Jahren, die ich sehr regelmäßig essen gehe, noch gar nie erlebt. Und das Essen meiner Frau war zudem sehr wenig und dann auch noch fast kalt... der Kellner war zwar freundlich aber in Summe war das alles enttäuschend und leider nicht empfehlenswert.

Frühstück Nein!-Abendessen vielleicht! Das Frühstück war geschmacklich und von der Menge nicht gut und dafür einfach zu Teuer. Hätte vielleicht doch zu Aldi gehen sollen... ⭐⭐ Wegen der Sehr Freundlichen Bedienung!

The atmosphere is great, but service is lacking; you have to order and pay at a booth. One pizza, one pasta, two Alsters, and €50 is gone without even a hint of fullness.

5 stars – a real highlight in a prime location! I was completely impressed by the Kanalschuppen restaurant. The location alone is unbeatable – central, with a beautiful view and a relaxed atmosphere. Ideal for a cozy dinner or a drink with friends. The menu is varied, with a great selection of Mediterranean dishes. The service was also very attentive, friendly and warm - you immediately feel welcome. Not to forget: the drinks! Of course, a classic Aperol Spritz should not be missing here - perfectly mixed and served ice cold. Conclusion: If you are looking for good food, a great location and a pleasant atmosphere, the Kanalschuppen is the right place for you. I'll definitely be back!

We were back in the sewer shed at the harbor! We first sat in the sun directly in front of the terrace, a great place! As the sun slowly set, we moved to the covered outdoor terrace. We both had the beef fillet with pepper sauce today! It was absolutely delicious! Delicate, to the point and simply a pleasure! The service was perfect as always and we had a magical evening! For us it is the best address at the harbor! We can highly recommend the sewer shed!

Went to the harbor in Flensburg on a sunny Saturday and were very surprised by the many people walking around, looking for a spot and lingering over a drink and a snack. Since we hadn't eaten anything yet, we stopped at Kanalscguppen. The service was very, very friendly and the food was very tasty. As long as we are here again we will definitely come back.

We were there in the evening. We were warmly welcomed and our server Lynn provided great service. Thanks for that! The pizzas we ordered came quickly after ordering and were really okay! Up to this point the evening had really been a success. As far as the ambience is concerned, the shop owner really spoiled the feeling for us. Another waiter asked us at the table if we could be quieter and when I asked if anyone had complained, the shop owner sitting behind us said he had. He then sped away. Beforehand the mood was good and relaxed, other neighboring tables were chatting and laughing just like us. Afterwards the atmosphere was very depressing and we felt unwelcome as customers and practically thrown out. We will definitely not come back again. If you want to eat and drink well in Flensburg at the top of the Förde, you should look for something else, for example Jule's Edit: As can be read in the owner's comment, there were probably 80 guests there. We must have missed them. I think you can read everything you need to from this comment and I've said everything with it, good luck.

A nice shop with a great location, but the food didn't match the price-performance ratio and the service still had room for improvement. Due to allergies, we checked in advance what was in the dressing and instead of the promised oil dressing we got something with lactose as a dressing. This is simply not possible, especially when it comes to intolerances.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Kanalschuppen in Flensburg and enjoying a burger from the menu in the evening. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I noticed the cozy and inviting atmosphere, which gains additional charm due to its location right on the harbor. The burger I ordered exceeded my expectations: the juicy meat was grilled to perfection, the fresh ingredients were perfectly balanced - but the absolute highlight was the burger bun. Unlike a regular burger bun, it consisted of airy pizza dough that was slightly crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside. This particular choice fit perfectly with the rest of the menu, which is Italian-inspired, and gave the burger an exceptional touch. The service also left nothing to be desired. The staff was attentive, friendly and, despite the busy restaurant, always on hand without seeming intrusive. The relaxed but professional atmosphere rounded off the experience perfectly. Overall, I can highly recommend the sewer shed in Flensburg. If you are looking for a special burger experience with a creative touch, you will definitely find it here. The combination of excellent cuisine, warm service and the picturesque location at the harbor makes this restaurant a real insider tip!

I find it very nice at any time and season with Alban and his crew, whether with mulled wine, at the European Football Championship, at parties or on the sunny terrace with a cool white wine. As a guest I feel warmly welcomed and seen. Here you can enjoy meeting friends in a unique atmosphere! Thank you for your continued commitment!!

I've been to the Kanalschuppen for breakfast several times with a large group of people, there's nothing to complain about, it's uncomplicated, even special requests are fulfilled by the very nice service staff, rustic, beautiful ambience at the Flensburg harbor!

That was the most expensive herring roll I've ever ordered, an incredible 12 euros, it was the worst herring roll I've ever eaten, flatbread with some herring, ready-made remoulade and kilos of colorful salad from a plastic bag. The hamburger was even worse, flatbread with 1 piece of tomato, 1 onion ring, dry meat petty, no sauce and another kilo of salad for 13 euros (standard) but it just tasted as described. Here you only pay for the view. 3 drinks plus 42 euros, I'm happy to pay a lot for food that tastes good but not for flatbread with salad. Addendum: Reaction from the owner Quote: "Ah blah blah blah blah but have fun in André Restaurant in Flensburg but not with me" Applause whoever reacts like that has already lost, extremely unprofessional, not open to criticism. I'll give the snack bar a wide berth. I have never experienced something so unprofessional and childish. Hopefully not many people fall for this snack.

Great view of the sea and delicious food. It's a shame, however, that it's not pointed out that if you look at the sea behind the windows you could be dealing with smokers. Then we would have liked to forego the direct view of the sea and eat smoke-free instead.

I ordered a salad with turkey breast strips. In terms of taste, however, given the quantity, it could at best be considered a side salad (€10!!! plus €5 for meat). A few colorful lettuce leaves, maybe a spoonful of corn kernels and two strips of pepper. Only the amount of onions was generous. Plus two pieces of flatbread. The criticism was received without comment. The children's pizza was okay, priced according to the location of the restaurant. Unfortunately disappointing, the many positive reviews had promised more.

So the pizza was subpar, it looked like it had been freshly baked, but the ingredients, in my case salami and cheese, were of absolutely inferior quality. The girl who works in service is great, the others are unfriendly and just look at you stupidly the whole time. The only good thing is the location and the view...absolute disappointment!

An evening in the sewer shed. I celebrated my birthday with my family in the sewer shed. Perfect location right on the water. We received a very friendly welcome. The table was very nicely set. From pizza to fillet steaks, there was everything your heart could desire. Very good quality, perfect service. we felt very comfortable. On top of that there was a schnapps ( Berliner Luft ) from the house. Thank you Alban, thank you also to your team, we will definitely be back. A tip from us: if you want to be sure, you should reserve a table in advance. Helga and Alfred

Unfortunately no recommendation for this. Pizza Margherita was quite tasty, but that was it.

The chef must have had a bad day. The calzone was very small. we thought it was for a child Calzone: there was only cheese in it, nothing else. Burgers were not edible. Meat was fried so much that one could not eat. cook it by side a, then ate bread and salad It wasn't all money. Staff were nice enough. They just didn't understand that their food could not eat. Then there is far too little space for the number of tables you have. It creates a bad atmosphere

We (2 people) had just arrived in Flensburg and wanted to have dinner near our accommodation. The “Channel Shed” was well attended and we spontaneously decided to stop there. There was a laminated, manageable menu on each table. Table and menu slightly sticky. My husband went to the toilet, which left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. My pizza margarita (11.50€) was average, the second dish was a burger, if you could call it that. The bun made of bad pizza dough, substandard meat patty and salad with drowned in salad dressing. The service was friendly and quick, prices were clearly too high for the quality delivered. My recommendation: sitting there on the quay with a nice drink is ok, but nothing more.

And in summer you also have a small beer garden on and on the promenade. While it was rather provisional in recent years, this year it is well thought out and uncomplicated. Personally, I like it best this year. A small beer right by the water in good weather is simply Flensburg.

After ten minutes a waiter came who asked me for a light and then enjoyed a smoke.... a second waiter came by and said he didn't have time... they then made fun of the guests in Turkish... .. the woman next to me said I don't know Turkish... I couldn't place an order even after 20 minutes...

To satisfy your cravings, coffee and cake were also available shortly after 11 p.m. with very friendly service and an extremely cozy atmosphere

Very nice view over the harbor, wonderful views. We ordered garlic bread - it came quickly and was super tasty 😋 Unfortunately, the 4 pizzas were exactly the opposite: thin, soggy, sour, poorly topped (seafood pizza: surimi instead of shrimp, no mussels, minimal squid, done), hardly seasoned. 2 came wrong or were forgotten - no explanation/communication/apology. We found spaghetti in the calzone!?! Using leftovers? So a lot of money for beer and a beautiful view 🙄. Unfortunately we cannot recommend it!

Bought two glasses of wine to enjoy outside. Super unfriendly blonde waitress pushes my wife away from the bar and mumbles something about being away from the bar. This was difficult to do due to the many people and the queue as I was pushed from behind. The young lady has not yet internalized the meaning of “hospitality”! Unfortunately! What's left is an unpleasant experience with just as much memory! We won't come back here;

The food and ambience are great, but I don't think it's okay that a lunch menu is advertised on the website that doesn't exist. Too bad...
