San Marco in Flensburg

The price-performance ratio was absolutely justified! There was absolutely nothing to complain about with any of the dishes. Everyone left the restaurant full and completely satisfied.

Friendly service, tortellini and two other pasta dishes were delicious, and the price was fair. Highly recommended, I'd go back.

Nice service. But if you're really expecting Italian food, you're in the wrong place here. The noodles are mass-produced. The “Carbonara” with cream and pressed ham. The lasagne is also made with pressed ham, who makes something like that? No ragout, if you're lucky there's minced meat in it. The taste is okay for the price but by no means an “Italian”. If you want German-Italian mixed cuisine at a reasonable price, this might be the right place for you. The ambience also leaves a lot to be desired - radio pop music is played.

Super delicious food, everyone is always friendly

children-size pizza which is smaller then the whole plate, but the prices were based on a normal size. That’s not authentically Italian.

Lovely reception, rustic decor. A lot was to be expected. Unfortunately the pizza was nothing. The dough was neither Roman nor Neapolitan. The Gorgonzola we ordered specially consisted of two small pieces. The spinach pasta was totally tasteless. Cream and pasta water... There wasn't much else in it. The espresso also tasted like dishwashing liquid. For me it was one of the worst things about Italian food.

There were 4 of us on January 11th. there. It was my daughter's birthday. The food wasn't warm. The lasagne was not thawed properly. Very bad food. I didn't want to ruin my daughter's day. Very unfortunate

Very friendly staff and good service

Friendly, courteous and very good service - the team was very humorous, uncomplicated and totally on their toes. The food (Vitello Tonnato was great!) tasted very good and even without a reservation we managed to get a seat with three people. Cozy atmosphere where it's fun to stop by. There is also delicious and well-tapped beer from the “Brauerei Hansens” from Flensburg. Keep it up and see you soon!

We ate at San Marco today, unfortunately my friend (Muslim) had ham in her vegetarian pasta dish. She noticed this after a few spoonfuls, whereupon she apologized and was offered a hot drink. When the bill came, the dish was listed on the bill, unfortunately I had to point out to the waiter myself that we would not be paying for the dish.

Good food, reasonable prices and a nice staff can be recommended.

The three of us visited the restaurant without a reservation. The orders were taken quickly by the friendly service. The drinks we ordered came to the table promptly and the food we ordered also arrived in an absolutely acceptable time.

After we had to wait 5 minutes until a mini table was assigned to us in the almost empty restaurant in the afternoon, we were served the worst parmesan spaghetti ever (without truffles. That was "out")... a single tasteless mush ! Our complaint was acknowledged, but that was it. Conclusion: Never go there again!!!

Unfortunately our food was warmed up in the microwave. Differently warm, hot or even cold. We actually had to go back. Why we didn't do it? We don't know that ourselves. Spaghetti Bolognese drowned in sauce. Unfortunately we won't be eating there again.

Different, apparently the time is a factor. I've been there 3 times during the week and at lunchtime during the week the food was great and the service was very good. On the weekend the service was overcrowded and too loud and inattentive.

Unfortunately, the food tasted very sober and wasn't really appealing, the ingredients weren't there as stated on the menu, even the wait for the bill unfortunately took longer than usual in other restaurants, All in all the worst Italian in Flensburg! Too bad, San Marco.

The food was boring and not particularly Italian. We obviously had too high expectations. Would not recommend the place.

We've been there for dinner several times. We were there on November 8th, 2024 at a private event. We always do just fine. I can only recommend San Marco

Unfortunately, there is no longer the delicious pizza as it was back then, it looks more like it comes from a snack bar. Some of the pasta dishes are also unseasoned. But the salads are highly recommended but unfortunately not vegetarian.

Fastän restaurangen ligger på gågatan så är det ingen turistfälla, här är det äkta italienskt. Vi fick dela en pizza och dela en flaska rödvin, allt var perfekt. Dessutom riktigt bra kunnig personal.

Super delicious food, nice rooms and the staff is always super friendly. Where else do you have it these days that someone comes every 20 minutes to check whether everything is still OK or if something is still okay? As always, I felt as comfortable and as round as a ball :) .

We got a place without a reservation. It was busy, but there was a lot and very friendly staff. We didn't have to wait long for 4 pizzas with drinks. Temperature and taste were absolutely fine.

Locally located in the middle of downtown Flensburg. Nicely furnished and reasonably priced. Visited twice within 4 months. The service was always attentive and friendly. However, the pizzas we ordered were unfortunately only average both times. We remember freshly thawed broccoli, which watered the pizza, and salmon, which was quite tasteless. In addition, both times the toilets seemed quite... 'used'... Maybe we were just unlucky, but it could be much better.

We have been eating at San Marco for years when we visit Flensburg. Very good food, great service, always friendly, always quick. Yesterday again in the San Marco. Great food, great service as usual and a nice dining room has been added.

I had the Pizza San Marco and my wife had the fried calamari. We enjoyed both, although there is still a bit of room for improvement with the pizza. We had a nice table by the window and the waitress was very friendly. We found the atmosphere cozy.

Most bland pizza, the onions on it were almost raw. Spaghetti bolognaise for the wife was sexless and tasted of nothing. Friendly waiters but the food cannot be recommended.

My friend and I visited San Marco for the first and last time two days ago. We waited over 40 minutes for two pizzas, everyone else who came after us had their food within 10-15 minutes. After 50-60 minutes we got ours Pizza, completely raw and limp. The shrimp weren't really done either. The waiter apologized several times, but the woman who charged us seemed very arrogant towards us.

That was nothing! The pasta was completely tasteless and seasoning didn't help much. The penne al forno sauce was very spicy despite the cheese and cream. When asked about the ingredients because of an allergy, the answer was annoyed. The only positive thing was the homemade iced tea... delicious We definitely won't come again!

Nice restaurant, you can also sit outside when the weather is good. Whenever you come over they have a table. If the weather is good or in the evening, I would prefer to reserve a table.

Here you sit right in the pedestrian zone! Perfect! The garden chairs are uncomfortable in the long run. We had pasta, the taste was ok, but the portions could have been a little larger. So value for money is so-so. Still recommended.

A good plate of pasta carbonara and bolognese, a Flensburger, a HB Munchener weiss and a good dessert at the right price; everything perfect, even the outdoor table on the walk. The waitresses who served the tables were also good.

It's a great restaurant with great cuisine, nice staff and a great ambience. We were there with two children and our large dog. We were invited in straight away to give the dog some peace and quiet as he wasn't used to the city. There were great food options for the children, not too big, not too small, and the meals for the adults tasted great and were big enough. The dog was first given water and then we were given the cards.

Ved ankomst blev vi informeret, at der kunne være op til 45min ventetid grundet travlhed. Alt er godt, vi kunne dog se at kun gaden var fyldt og 1/3 indenfor så håber da ikke de nogensiden får fuldt hus for bliver de presset. Og sørme ikke om maden kom efter 14min. Vi bestilte carbonara , lasagne, tortellini og en pizza. Carbonaren var ok, dog lavet på fløde. Lasagnen manglede bid - pastaen var kogt helt død og til den salte side. Tortalinien var ok uden at skrive historie. Fælles for dem alle var at de næppe var helt hjemmelavet som man kan forvente på en italiensk restrurent og som de selv skriver og gør meget ud af i deres menukort. Pizzaen var 100% en præfabrikeret bund med et tyndt lag sovs og jævn fyld. Som knægten sagde - kedelig. I vores øjne ikke en restaurant, men et ok cafeteria. Du får hvad du betaler for og det er billigt. Nu har vi været der og kommer næppe igen. Jamen er der slet ikke noget godt? Jo prisen passer til maden, lokalerne er fine, toiletterne rene og lyse og personalet var søde og imødekommen.

The food was delicious. Unfortunately, the innkeeper seemed very stressed and reacted very unfriendly to the other guests. The mood among the staff seemed a bit tense. I had to pay 50 cents to have my food packed. I've never seen anything like that before. I honestly find that a bit cheeky. The aluminum foil definitely doesn't cost the restaurant 50 cents to purchase. Something like this should be free so that no food goes to waste. These are reasons why I no longer visit this restaurant and would rather support another local.

Lang ventetid, nogle havde kunder havde de glemt, talentløse pizzaer som vi vurderede at de præfabrikerede bunde med et meget tyndt lag sovs og så når der var kunder i butikken, blev fyldet hældt på og i ovnen... Den ene tjener blev uhøflig over for en ældre herre der udtrykte sin utilfredshed på en pæn måde at han havde ventet i lang tid, som var yderst begrundet af kunden. Restauranten var måske 50% fyldt og vi bad flere gange om noget vi havde bestilt ekstra og lige så hurtigt blev det glemt og vi fik det ikke...

We always enjoy being at San Marco. Unfortunately we turned 18 today and were asked to leave the outside area. However, given the nice weather, we didn't want to sit inside... The waiter didn't care... Then we left. A pity.

Vi var 2 voksne og 2 teenage drenge som alle fik virkelig lækker mad. Betjeningen var også rigtig god. Vi er enige om vi meget gerne kommer tilbage til dette hyggelige sted!!

The first Italian in Flensburg has lost its shine. The cuisine no longer has any highlights to offer, the food offered as spicy comes across as bland, the pizzas are soft and soggy instead of crispy and tasty. The prices for the food are low, but the drinks are very expensive. Charging over 7 euros for a bottle of still water is cheeky. The staff is friendly and helpful, but cannot compensate for the weakness of the kitchen. The good reputation alone fills the tables. Long may it stay that way.

Top italienisch Küche! Der beste Italiener in der Stadt! Ich glaube sogar, es der einzige Italiener in der Stadt. Was man auch bestellt, man spürt Amore in jedem Gericht. Auch das Service Personal ist 1A. Super nett, super ausgebildet und man bekommt sogar Essen was nicht auf der Karte steht. Hatte man mal einen schlechten Tag und ist nicht gut drauf. Dann geht man ins San Marco und bekommt erst mal was für die Seele.

Little staff for Saturday evening (2 waitresses). German cuisine disguised as Italian. It's called "Carbonara" with regular cooked ham and cream sauce.

We spontaneously decided on Italian food and went to the nearest restaurant. We ate excellently and inexpensively. Both the salad plate and the pizza were shared and were still sufficient. The excellent service deserves my recognition.

Their pizzas are best avoided. Tasteless and only the underside was baked. Service did not come by itself and there was no follow-up. The price was ok if it had been edible. So not a place I will come again.

I ordered Minestrone (thick Italian soup), but got vegetables boiled in water, without taste. Very disappointing for an Italian restaurant!!
