Ein tolles Restaurant unsere Bedienung war sehr auf zack die Pizza ist klasse und die Nudeln und der Salat waren auch total lecker ... Wer in Flensburg lecker italienisch essen möchte sollte hier einkehren. Von uns aus sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir essen gerne dem Mittagstisch. Es schmeckt wirklich immer ausgezeichnet und es ist preislich unschlagbar. Super zuvorkommende Bedienung inklusive.

Netter Service essen kam heiß und schnell. Preis Leistung okay Pizza von 12 bis 17 Euro

Das italienische Essen war köstlich. Ich musste mich erst an den einzelnen Kellner gewöhnen, aber das Personal war in Ordnung. Der Service war allerdings nicht optimal, da wir nicht zwei Café-Tische zusammenrücken durften, um zu viert zusammensitzen zu können.

Das schlechteste italienische Restaurant der Stadt. Das Essen sieht aus und schmeckt, als hätte es jemand gegessen und wieder erbrochen. Nie wieder.

Beruflich in Flensburg unterwegs und auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant, sind wir eher zufällig im San Marco gelandet. Obwohl es bereits 21:30 Uhr war, hatte die Küche noch geöffnet – ein echter Glücksfall. Die Lasagne war hervorragend und mit Abstand eine der besten, die ich seit langem gegessen habe. Frische Zutaten, perfekt abgeschmeckt und sehr lecker zubereitet. Dazu freundlicher Service und eine angenehme Atmosphäre.

Hallo! Wir waren am 16. und 17.05.26 dort. Klasse Service, prima Bedienung - alles bestens. Natürlich; die Nudeln - wir hatten Gorgonzola und Carbonara, diese waren vorab sicher zubereitet und anschließend eingepackt - um bei Bedarf, so der Blick in die Küche, erwärmt zu werden. Ist halt heutzutage Standard. Dennoch: Alles gut - von uns eine fast uneingeschränkte Empfehlung für das San Marco! Was nicht geklappt hat war die zugesagte Tischreservierung des Vortages: "Stay tuned"...

Wir waren in Flensburg zu Besuch und unser Appetit trieb uns zur Pizza. Beide waren außergewöhnlich lecker. Der Preis war auch ok. Das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Ich würde dort wieder hingehen 👍

Seit vielen Jahren gehen wir regelmäßig hin und sind immer wieder begeistert. Das Essen ist mega, besonders das Hausgemachte Brot mit Knoblauchcreme, ohne geht es nicht.

Guter, sehr klassischer Italiener mit schöner, entspannter Atmosphäre, gutem und freundlichem Service und einer hervorragenden, klassisch zubereiteten Carbonara (keine Sahne! Guanciale! Jede Menge Eigelb!). Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung für einen schönen Abend.

Solider bis guter Italiener für norddeutsche Verhältnisse. Salat war super knackig und frisch, Pasta war schön al dente, Soße schön cremig. Hätte ein klein wenig mehr Würze vertragen können, aber sonst Tip top. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, herzlicher netter Service.

Das Lokal liegt in der Innenstadt von Flensburg und ist immer gut besucht. Dabei sind auch viele Einheimische. Man bekommt dort Cocktails mît - und ohne Alkohol, Bier Cola und andere Softdrinks. Zu Essen bekommt man alles was die italienische Küche zu bieten. Pizza wird nicht auf einem Teller, sondern auf einem rundem "Holteller" mit Griff serviert. Das finde ich sehr originell. Am Eingang, direkt hinter der Tür steht ein Pult. Da bleibt man dann als Gast stehen und wartet, das man von der Kellnerin - oder dem Kellner abgeholt wird. Die/ der weist den Gästen dann einen Platz zu, echt nobel. Sollte ich mal wieder in Flensburg sein, gehe ich da wieder hin.

Wir bestellten Pizza, eine Flasche Roséwein, Wasser und Kaffee. Alles war wie erwartet, ruhig und guter Service.

Wir waren nach dem Kinobesuch zum Pizza essen im San Marco, da wir dachten bei einer einfachen Salami Pizza kann man nichts falsch machen. Naja was soll ich sagen, mit einer italienischen Pizza hat das nichts zu tun. Selbst die Kinder wollen lieber Pizza aus dem heimischen Pizzaofen essen, da es zu Hause besser schmeckt. Das Restaurant war gut besucht und der Service aufmerksam.

Wir verstehen den Hype nicht. Wir hatten Pizza, auf der das Wasser, ebenso auf dem Teller, stand. Ansonsten war alles ok, der Service nett und aufmerksam. Es war nicht viel los, wir haben sofort einen Platz bekommen.

Wenn mein Sohn keine extreme Lust auf Penne hätte, wären wir nie reingegangen. Wäre ein FEHLER gewesen. ALSO:Pasta und Fleisch exorbitant gut!! Pizza mittelmäßig, Wein super, Kaffee mittelmäßig. Aber wir sind im Norden Deutschlands und dieser Italiener hat einen ITALIENER in der Küche. Keinen Chinesen, Vietnamesen oder im besten Fall einen Kroaten! Jedes Fleischstück war perfekt. PERFEKT, hört ihr!!! Selten so was erlebt. Und ich bin halbes Leben in Italien! Immer wieder gut!!!!

Wir waren heute zu zweit beim Abendessen. Das Servicepersonal ist freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Die Bestellung wurde schnell bearbeitet und das Essen war richtig gut. Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend im San Marco. Die Atmosphäre ist warm, elegant und sehr familienfreundlich. Die Spaghetti Carbonara war exzellent – ​​cremig, geschmackvoll und perfekt ausbalanciert, ohne schwer zu sein. Besonders gut gefiel mir der Service: Der Kellner fragte freundlich, ob ich Parmesan möchte, und meinte mit einem Lächeln, dass man ein italienisches Restaurant nicht ohne ihn verlassen sollte. Er brachte frisch geriebenen Parmesan auf einfache, aber sehr elegante Weise. Eine wirklich nette Geste. Das Tiramisu war fantastisch – sehr leichte Sahne, ausgewogener Kakaogeschmack und wunderschön angerichtet. Wir probierten auch die Crème brûlée, die zart, cremig und perfekt karamellisiert war. Unser Kind genoss die Pizza sehr, und das Personal gab ihm zum Schluss sogar einen Lutscher – eine sehr nette Geste. Insgesamt waren Essen, Service und Atmosphäre exzellent. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit unseren Kindern 6 und 1 Jahr dort. Der Service war sehr sehr gut und sehr Kinderfreundlich 😍das hat man nicht mehr so oft. Essen war zügig da und sehr lecker.

Januar 2026: Leider war unser Besuch nicht so gut wir der Letzte. Die Spaghetti Frutti di Mare waren normale Spaghetti aus der Packung...könnte ich ggf noch mit leben, aber die Frutti di Mare waren zerkochte Tiefkühlprodukte. Für 19,80 € erwartet ich in so einem Restaurant zumindest frische Muscheln oder Calamaris bzw. hochwertigere Tiefkühlprodukte als diese zerkochten,kleinen Teilchen in meiner Sauce. Meine Bekannte hatte den Antipasti Vorspreisenteller, von dem ich leider kein Foto gemacht habe, weil ich echt perplex war. Diese lieblos präsentierten Dosenprodukte waren sehr übersichtlich auf dem Teller platziert. Für 11,90 € eigentlich eine Frechheit. Der Nachtisch, ein Tiramisu, war aber wirklich lecker und da stimme auch ausnahmsweise mal das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Positiv ist der Service zu erwähnen der echt aufmerksam war, wobei unser zugewiesener Sitzplatz direkt ggü dem Tresen lag und die Mitarbeiter unsere Gespräche mitverfolgen konnten und auch ihre Sichtweise mit eingebracht haben. Durch die charmante Art war es echt nett,aber eigentlich ein NoGo. April 2025: 5 Sterne Das Restaurant sieht von außen kleiner aus, als es ist. Die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich war von meinem Essen(Rinderfiletspitzen) begeistert, es war mal was anderes. Allerdings haben die Pizzaesser gesagt, dass ihre Pizza bzw. der Teig nicht ganz durch gewesen wäre. Ich habe die Pizza auch probiert und ich fand sie gut. Aber Geschmäcker sind verschieden.

Perfekt. Das Essen ist sehr gut und der Service ebenfalls. Toll wie kulant ihr mit unserem Hund umgegangen seid als er sein Trinkwasser verschüttet hat. Wird zukünftig zu meinen Favoriten zählen.

Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist riesig. Meine Familie und ich waren eigentlich wegen der Pizza da, aber die Pasta war einfach unschlagbar. Alles war köstlich. Der Service war professionell und blitzschnell. Ein toller Ort, um Zeit mit Familie und Freunden zu verbringen.

The staff seemed more interested in playing on their phones than serving customers in a half-empty restaurant. The pizza was mediocre and small... the baked penne was truly awful and tasted bland, almost sour; we're used to much better quality. Both dishes were clearly lacking salt and any kind of seasoning.

Delicious Italian food at a great price. This time I had the authentic carbonara... Absolutely divine! ☺️🙏

The best pasta i've had for a long time

The food arrives quickly and in pleasantly large portions. Unfortunately, all the knives are completely dull, making pizza cutting a real struggle. On the plus side, the restaurant is nicely spacious, and you're not sitting on top of the next table. The staff is exceptionally friendly and humorous. It's a really pleasant place to eat.

We were at San Marco again with a large group. As always, we weren't disappointed. The food was delicious, as always, and arrived at the same time for all 12 guests ordering à la carte! And the service from every single employee was consistently polite and attentive... with a touch of humor. That's how I feel as a customer! My favorite Italian restaurant!

We received a very warm welcome, even though we hadn't made a reservation. The service was exceptionally friendly; you rarely encounter such attentive service. The food was absolutely delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert—everything was exquisite. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!

This has quickly become our favorite Italian restaurant. It's located on Flensburg's main shopping street, in the pedestrian zone. Very cozy with very friendly service, and you can sit outside when the weather is nice, if there's a free table. The menu is varied, and the food is delicious and plentiful. Definitely check out the desserts! The prices are absolutely reasonable; with an aperitif, wine, water, a starter, a dessert, and two main courses, we paid under €40 per person. I recommend making a reservation during peak hours. Since I just read in another review: there are two restrooms, one upstairs and the other on the ground floor.

San Marco is one of the best restaurants in town, not just among the Italian ones, but overall. Every item on the menu has a distinctive, delicious flavor. I especially recommend the meat dishes. It’s clear they have a skilled chef in the kitchen. The staff is professional, and we were very satisfied with the quality of service, especially from Murat.

We received a warm welcome here. The service was very attentive. The food, in our case pizza, was delicious. It was generously topped and the size was just right. The selection, the price, and the quality were all excellent. We could tell the other guests in the restaurant were also satisfied. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

Super friendly staff, you feel right at home. Our large multinational group was very welcome. They even offered to arrange a custom pizza for one of our group who was undecided. Great experience overall.

Unfortunately, there's not much Italian about these pizzas. Just average pizzas that anyone could make themselves.

The ambiance and service are good. My pasta wasn't particularly seasoned. The menu said it should have been a bit spicier, but it was quite flavorless and not particularly hot. Since the rest of the food was good, I'm still giving it 4 stars, but there are a good number of restaurants I'd prefer. Unfortunately, the restrooms are one floor up, requiring a very long and rather steep flight of stairs. This is very inconvenient for the elderly or those with mobility issues.

We were there with a large group. The new server was extremely unfriendly from the start. Another person and I asked for another table to be pushed forward. The immediate answer was "no, we don't do that." I've never heard of that before. We then pre-ordered food but weren't allowed to order a drink, so I had to ask another server. I was verbally abused by said server at my table in front of 30 people. I've never experienced anything like it before, and I'm a trained restaurateur myself; I've been to many restaurants and always enjoyed San Marco. The person in question behaved disrespectfully on several occasions in several restaurants. Normally I would have left right away and not left any money there. I was only doing it for a friend.

I went to eat at San Marco in Flensburg with three friends. We got a table for four straight away and had a really lovely evening. The food was incredibly delicious, and my friends felt the same way! 😊 The service was incredibly relaxed and fun, really laid-back and fun. Extra bread was always available upon request. We sat right next to the cash register and could see how relaxed and cheerful the whole team is – really friendly! Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

In my experience, the food and service at San Marco are very good, which is why I like to recommend this restaurant to my friends and acquaintances. We visited San Marco on a Sunday lunchtime (12:30 p.m.) with three people. Upon entering, as usual, we had to wait to be assigned a table by the wait staff. Even though there were three waiters and two tables occupied, this process took 10 minutes. We ended up actively approaching the wait staff. Our orders were taken promptly, and our drinks were served promptly. In my opinion, the preparation of the meals took too long with two tables occupied. We waited 45 minutes. The food was, as usual and expected, very tasty. The portion could have been a bit larger, in my opinion. I consider the price of €11.50 to be common and reasonable for Flensburg's shopping street. The ambiance is fine. Due to the expansion of the restaurant, I think it has lost some of its charm. You can sit outside in good weather. The aspect that shocked and disappointed me was the service. The service at San Marco has changed, but unfortunately not in a positive direction. The waiter wasn't particularly friendly and, in my opinion, had a nasty undertone. Unfortunately, the attentiveness was also lacking; we constantly had to ask the waiter to come over to us to place additional orders. The behavior of the waiters in the restaurant was unprofessional. I can understand that friends have one or two unusual nicknames for each other, but vulgar expressions have no place in a restaurant in front of customers. Conversations with political content and particular views should also be held in private. I sincerely hope that this experience remains a one-off and doesn't become the new norm at San Marco.

Standard pizza! The price is rather high for that. A 0.5l beer, for example, costs €6.20. The pizza is also small. If there's any leftovers and some of it is packed in a small box, an extra €0.50 is charged. I think the restaurant is doing well because there are few other pizzerias in Flensburg.

We had a delicious pizza. We prefer a thinner dough, but that's the restaurant's choice, of course. The pizza toppings were delicious. Ordering went smoothly and very friendly.

I went there for lunch with my toddler. Initially, I was in a positive mood. The waiter was friendly. They served noodles. They were okay, but I didn't need to come back for more. We were halfway through our meal, and our drinks were still half full. A quick bathroom break was necessary. As someone previously reported, the restroom was unfortunately not clean, and the soap was empty. When we returned, to my surprise, everything was suddenly covered. When I asked the waitress passing by, she said I should have let them know where I was going. Then it wouldn't have happened. I don't have to check out to go to the restroom, do I?! Especially since the restroom leads past the counter. The drink was brought to me again free of charge. After I told the waiter that I wanted to pay, it took so long that I finally went to the cashier myself. I will definitely not be coming here again.

The ambiance was perfectly fine, although I was actually a bit surprised by the large size at the back. Service could have been a bit more attentive; perhaps asking if you'd like another drink would have allowed them to sell you something extra. (At least that was the case for me.) Unfortunately, I can't really recommend the food; the lasagna was pretty tasteless in my opinion and could have used more seasoning.

We ate pizza, which unfortunately seemed pre-made. It looked like something "fresh from the oven" from Dr. Oetker. A pizza made by a real pizza chef in the kitchen looks different... and tastes different, too! San Marco used to be the number one in Flensburg. By the way, an ice cube or a slice of lemon in the water also tastes good!

The food tasted good, but nothing special. What bothered us were the portion sizes. Everything was much too small. I've had pizzas that were much larger at other Italian restaurants. The children's plates are more suited to toddlers. My 9 and 13-year-olds were still incredibly hungry afterward. The knives are also no good for cutting the pizzas. The tiramisu is meager for almost €7. Sorry, I forgot to take photos.

My boyfriend and I ate pizza at the restaurant three times. The waiter was nice and the pizza was good. The last pizza was cold, and the employee said that was okay. I was very disappointed.

I know San Marco from my husband, who came here with his family for years. The food is always excellent 👍 , but the service was truly abysmal. The waitresses were very perfunctory and disinterested. When I politely asked for a piece of bread, all I got was a brusque, "We haven't offered that for years." Particularly irritating: While paying, I saw another waiter cutting fresh bread for guests. Apparently, not everyone gets the same service—or it depends on their mood. We received a very warm welcome from Kesha. She was always in a good mood and made everything possible for us. Simply top-notch service. Unfortunately, she no longer works there, and after today, we'll be reluctant to return.

I was corrected by the waitress when I ordered because I mispronounced the name of the pizza. The tables weren't always wiped down after the guests left. The pizza had canned peppers on it, which is unacceptable! But it was one of the few restaurants open on Sunday evenings.

Menyerna endast på Danska och Tyska så bra med någon form av översättningslösning om man inte behärskar språken. personalen pratar hjälplig Engleska. Smaken på maten var ganska ok, inte den bästa Pizzan men helt okej, Fisken var också helt okej och köttet var ganska bra till och med. Uppmärksam personal trots att det var mycket folk i restaurangen.

Solid service in terms of food. Unfortunately, the service leaves something to be desired. The waiters are generally very friendly, only one waiter is completely unfocused and makes life difficult for himself. The outdoor seating is neither particularly chic nor comfortable. The pizza is solid and delicious. Well-topped, the crust is crispy, very generously toppings, great. The salad was tasty, only some coarsely chopped ingredients spoil the overall impression somewhat. All in all, a solid service.

Unfortunately our food was warmed up in the microwave. Differently warm, hot or even cold. We actually had to go back. Why we didn't do it? We don't know that ourselves. Spaghetti Bolognese drowned in sauce. Unfortunately we won't be eating there again.

The food was very good. The strawberry tiramisu is highly recommended. One small downside is that the waiter didn't really know his own menu.

"Please wait, you will be seated," intercepted right at the door. Okay, I can live with that. And understand that. The food was good and tasty. The waitress was a bit overwhelmed and therefore probably a bit forgetful. But the cleanliness of the restrooms was abysmal. I'll spare you a photo here. You can certainly imagine if the toilet bowl is used by a lot of people urinating standing up and then isn't cleaned regularly!!! Both are absolute crap. Both aspects need to be addressed.

I've rarely experienced such a tasteless derailment of Italian cuisine as the so-called "lasagna" at this establishment. The mere sight of the tough, pale gray thing should have made me suspicious... but the true abyss only revealed itself after the first bite: a mushy mess of unidentifiable ground beef, with cheese that probably passed for a chemical experiment. The vomit I smeared over my toilet bowl a few hours later seemed, in retrospect, more structured, fresher, and—hard to believe—more appetizing than the original dish. In retrospect, I would have had more pleasure biting into dog shit than shoving another piece of this gastronomic outrage into my mouth.

Always a reasonably priced lunch menu. Very fast, friendly, and good service, which isn't always the case here in Flensburg, as they often only employ temporary staff. So, once again, very good service. And, of course, very good food. This also reflects positively on the price-performance ratio. All in all, if you love Italian cuisine, you'll be in good hands here.
