A very nice hotel right on the harbor. We were very lucky to get a room with a large balcony. We could see the boats entering the harbor from our bed. A fantastic view. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. Everything is very fresh and the service is excellent. The staff were all very accommodating and friendly. We would love to come back again (with the same room).

The hotel exceeded all expectations. The staff was courteous, extremely friendly, and helpful in every department. The restaurant is second to none, and we were delighted to have our packed lunch for the long journey. The room was beautiful; the view of the harbor was stunning day and night, very clean, and there was no street noise to be heard.

My second home in Flensburg, a loyal guest since 2017 I've been a regular guest at this wonderful hotel since it opened in 2017, staying over 180 nights so far, and I look forward to my stay every time. The location is simply perfect, right in the heart of Flensburg, with everything within walking distance, whether it's restaurants, the harbor, or the old town. The rooms are modern, stylishly furnished, and superbly maintained; you can tell that attention is paid to every detail. What really makes the hotel special for me, though, is the team: always friendly, warm, helpful, and professional. You immediately feel welcome, almost like staying with friends. I travel a lot for work and have stayed in many hotels, but none have impressed me as much as this one. For me, it's clearly my favorite hotel in Germany! Very friendly and accommodating staff... even in the early morning hours ;-) Great location and modern rooms

The room we had had a harbor view, but unfortunately, the road between them is a bit busier. The room felt quite cold and not warm, which we didn't like. Parking in the underground garage is difficult unless your car is a mini and it's quite full. The breakfast is okay, but the price/performance ratio isn't quite right. The reception staff also seemed a bit rude and overwhelmed at times—you're just a customer!

Frosty, friendly reception staff. I had reserved rooms for my birthday guests and wanted to check out the facilities (a free room and possibly the breakfast room) on Sunday afternoon (it was closed and there were two ladies at the desk). Their response: Nothing will happen without calling ahead and arranging an appointment?! I then left and called without success.

We only stayed here for an overnight stay on our way home from Denmark, but it was a very nice stay. The room and staff were excellent, and the hotel was extravagant, located right on the harbor, surrounded by bars and restaurants, yet still quiet. The room with a balcony was huge. The bathroom with underfloor heating was very pleasant. Highly recommended.

The room impressed us with its modern, bright, and cozy decor. The comfortable beds and well-kept seating area are particularly noteworthy. The cleanliness of the entire room was impeccable and contributed significantly to the feel-good factor. A particular highlight was the excellent breakfast. In addition to a wide selection, it featured fresh smoothies, juices, and high-quality regional products. The hotel's location is also ideal: Located directly on the harbor, it offers both the opportunity for relaxing walks along the water and excellent connections to the old town with its numerous restaurants and cafés. Overall, a highly recommended hotel that we would be happy to visit again if the opportunity arises.

Truly beautiful, luxurious, and lovingly designed rooms. The staff is extremely friendly, and the location is very quiet. The breakfast buffet is absolutely amazing. It's very thoughtfully presented, so there's always plenty of everything, but no one fills their plate so much that there's leftovers that end up being thrown away. Awesome attention to detail!

This is our second time here. I booked massages on both of my stays, which were truly fantastic and I highly recommend them. The price is also great. The room furnishings are great, but the style is a bit off.

Everything has been said about the hotel and its location. The side rooms on the third floor are very quiet, so you can even sleep with the window open. Unfortunately, the only downside was that during our three-night stay, room cleaning was completely "forgotten"! A little tip: if the €25 breakfast price is too high for you (it was for us!), walk down Oluf-Samson-Gasse to Cafe Thaysen, which opens at 7 a.m.

Ahoy and hello! I have a small house right next to the hotel, so why be a guest? It's been a long time and as luck would have it, here we are again. And? Yes, everything was great! Great staff! The breakfast, even if a bit hectic, was really good. Friday evening, while looking for a restaurant with space for four, I stopped at the hotel a bit frustrated, no great expectations, BUT! Fantastic! Thanks to Javier and his colleagues! TOP service - food - very good prices - everything was perfect! To finish off, a rum and a cigarette in the now very well-maintained backyard! Maybe I'll sell my house and go back to the Hotel Hafen Flensburg more often, I deserve it 😉 Good work! Thanks! Keep it up!

We were there over Pentecost, and everything was perfect. Nicely centrally located, and you can reach everything on foot. Flensburg and the hotel are worth a visit.

A perfect stay in a perfect location. A beautiful house with great rooms (we slept like logs in those beds), a fantastic breakfast (much of it homemade), and an evening restaurant in a perfect location. Incredibly warm and helpful staff. You don't experience that very often these days (unfortunately). We'll definitely be back!

We spent two nights at this lovely hotel. Our room was exceptional. A lot of thought was put into the design, excellent cleanliness, very central location, convenient parking for 15 euros per day. The breakfast was excellent with fresh products. We also ate twice at the hotel restaurant and it was very tasty. The restaurant staff provided excellent service. I just want to point out one thing. The receptionist at the time of check-out could have been a little nicer, even when the hotel made a mistake. You can simply apologize when it was the hotel's own mistake. It just makes the customer feel better after they have enjoyed their stay at the hotel.

We have booked a disabled room. The room itself is NOT wheelchair/impaired. You cannot get around the bed. There is no high chair. The cupboard cannot be reached from a wheelchair, etc. Only the bathroom has disabled-friendly equipment. You cannot use the main entrance in a wheelchair. You have to go around the back of the hotel and there is a very long stretch of cobblestones.

Nice wellness hotel with one of the best breakfasts in the area. Service stars could had been 5 if smiles were more common at the reception and you would had felt welcome.

Anyone planning to visit Flensburg should include this hotel in their plans, as you can't find a more centrally located place to stay in Flensburg. And you should also try the Columbus Restaurant; it has excellent food and attentive service. If we ever find ourselves in Flensburg again, this hotel would be our first choice. We therefore recommend it 100%.

The hotel is great! The location is very central, the rooms are spacious, modern (although there is a "normal" closet with doors! ;-) ) and very clean. The staff are attentive and friendly, both at the excellent breakfast buffet and at reception. Only the hotel's parking facilities could be better, as there are too few parking spaces and as a result the maneuvering area and the parking spaces themselves are also rather small. Our room also gets a deduction because the situation was very restless, but that's complaining at a high level. We will definitely go to Flensburg again in the summer and then also book this hotel.

All around successful stay. From the wallpaper in the room to the lamps in the wellness area, the cozy and maritime concept invites you to feel good. In addition to the high-quality furnishings, the staff makes your vacation an experience. The employees are all incredibly polite and well trained. We enjoyed our time at the hotel and will definitely come back.

Perfect location in the city and right by the harbor. The breakfast is great. We had appointments in Damp. Despite the 60 kilometers, I wouldn't choose any other hotel. A modern and great hotel. Small wellness area with a sauna. Unfortunately no infusion is possible or prepared, but you can sweat. A limited number of parking spaces - which will be announced when booking - and a parking garage nearby. So everything is good. The breakfast is amazing, large selection, fresh and many of our own creations from the exquisite kitchen. Simply divine. You'll definitely see me again!

We spent New Year's Eve in this hotel. It offers a special three-day New Year's Eve package. When I booked, I liked the extremely friendly and personal communication. When we arrived we were warmly greeted. The hotel is small and familiar, beautifully designed with great attention to detail. The room was super cozy with upscale furnishings, clean and tastefully decorated. We had breakfast buffet three times and buffet dinner three times. Here too we were extremely satisfied. The buffet was lovingly decorated, the choice of food was very extensive and varied and everything was simply delicious. Everyone in the hotel was always friendly. All in all a highly recommended hotel. We'd love to come back.

Very nice and cute hotel. We would book again and again if we go to Flensburg. Breakfast is sufficient, maybe a bit expensive. But it's still within limits. Restaurant in the evening is worth a meal. We got married nearby and with our families and witnesses we not only had a pleasant stay, with a delicious breakfast, but also an excellent 3-course dinner. The team at the hotel and the kitchen implemented our wishes and ideas brilliantly and even more than that. The separate room for the dinner was not only an eye-catcher, but also quiet and comfortable - even the children were taken care of. The process went smoothly and we were completely looked after. The surprise in our room was also very touching. Thank you again at this point! We would stay there again at any time!

Great hotel with exceptionally friendly service in all areas! Very nice and large rooms and the location is perfect for walking through the city… I would love to go back!

Today we once again registered and enjoyed a birthday breakfast at the Hotel Hafen by telephone. The service and the buffet were very nice and selected. Unfortunately the egg dish was too salty and the rolls were a bit hard, but the rest of the selection of delicacies was very tasty and extensive. We didn't like two points this time. The reception from the management at the breakfast service was quite cold. There was no congratulations either, but rather an immediate note that breakfast only lasted until 10:30 and asked if I knew this. (We were in the house at 9:10.) The table was nicely decorated, unfortunately the birthday champagne we ordered on the phone was not served at the reception. This should be done as a little surprise. (We didn't order any more.) The other service person was very polite and enthusiastic. When we left the hotel, the receptionist didn't even raise his head. I'm less familiar with that. This was just a suggestion, otherwise we were very full and satisfied.

A really great hotel with a big heart for dogs! The room (112) was well located with no street noise. Nice comfortable beds. The reception was also very nice. The big surprise was the preparation in the room for the dog! Someone probably has a dog themselves. The parking situation should be checked again if necessary, because what use are the spaces in the back of the yard if about 1/3 is allocated to private individuals and is therefore not available. In the TG it was very clean and bright, but quite narrow, at least for larger cars. Breakfast: very well furnished and everything available. There was no wish left unfulfilled. It doesn't get any better. The whole house overall has a great positive aura.

A top-class hotel, perfectly managed, uniquely friendly staff, lovingly furnished rooms, a kitchen crew that prepares food... wonderfully creative, tasty and responsive to all wishes. I was able to enjoy this house for a week for professional training and I felt at home there from the first minute. I would like to give more stars because they deserve it. Thanks again to the staff, everyone, really everyone is friendly, courteous and helpful and... no, I pondered for a long time and couldn't find a negative point. If you are looking for a hotel that makes your stay in Flensburg perfect, then this hotel is the right place for you. I'm already looking forward to my next stay there. Please keep it up!

Hotel Hafen Flensburg is a great hotel located on a beautiful river, with a variety of delicious restaurants next to the hotel and just a few minutes walk from the city centre. The staff at the hotel are very friendly. No matter when and where I meet the employees, they always say hello with a smile, which is very comfortable! We booked four rooms this time, and each room was very elegant and comfortable! There are many parking spaces at the parking lot, which costs 15 euros a day. There is an electric vehicle charging device, which is very convenient. We will stay at this great hotel again next time! Tschüss~~

Lovely hotel with a fantastic courtyard and right by the fjord, close to the centre. Good service throughout. The room was up to date and cosy. You should inform about city tax when you book. The breakfast is perhaps a little too expensive. All in all a good experience, we would love to come again 👍

The rooms are a great size, nice and bright and invite you to relax. The crew pampers the guests at a high level. Starting with the amazing breakfast buffet through to the excellent dinner, it was a highlight every day. As a die-hard coffee aunt, I was even happy about the tea, there was a few of it every day.

An excellent hotel on the Flensburg Fjord; Top service, very friendly staff, bright and friendly rooms. We particularly recommend the restaurant “Columbus” with its excellent menu and a drinks menu with a very good selection of wine and a large selection of rum. There is also the option of a rum tasting. The parking garage is very easy to access and charging boxes for electric cars are available.
