A very clean and well-maintained shop; the owner and staff are very friendly. The wait time varies but is usually between 10 and 15 minutes. The doner kebab is incredibly delicious, the meat is very juicy, and the sauces are first-rate. The only slight drawback is the location; it's usually very crowded and noisy since the shop is right in the middle of a shopping center. But if that doesn't bother you, it's 101% worth a visit!

People come and eat at your tables with food from elsewhere, and those who want to eat at your table don't have a place at the table.

The doner kebab is always delicious. However, the service could definitely be friendlier and more customer-oriented. Due to a lack of items, it was possible to place an order at the terminal, but the items were no longer available. The transaction was very unfriendly.

I was here for lunch and ordered the Dutch plate (around €15). Unfortunately, the portion was quite small. Both the fries and the meat could have been more substantial. For the price, it seemed more like a child's portion. The food tasted okay, but nothing special. Another negative point: there were no forks, and when we asked, the employee fetched some from the kitchen. It was clear that the used forks had only been briefly rinsed under water and hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. This unfortunately suggests rather low hygiene standards. Overall, the visit was rather disappointing.

As a native of Hamburg, a doner kebab is a regular fast food staple for me. While searching for one, I came across the Dönerwerk chain in the shopping center. Ordering at the kiosk was seamless, and the food was prepared quickly. We ordered a classic doner kebab and a small doner kebab plate. The meat tasted good, and the salad was fresh. The sauces weren't quite to my liking and were very thin. The bread with the doner kebab was tasty, but unfortunately too thick for my taste. I had so much bread with every bite that the flavors of the salad, meat, and sauces were somewhat lost. I much prefer the classic doner bread wraps. The price for the doner kebab and the doner kebab plate is just about acceptable, but not quite right for Flensburg prices. Overall, the food was okay, but it's no comparison to the doner kebabs you get in Hamburg.

This used to be my go-to "restaurant". The prices? Really expensive, if you're looking for something cheap , this isn't the right place. The portions? Don't get me started on those. You get tiny meals that BARELY fill your stomache. I'm sorry but this is really devastating.

POSTSCRIPT: I gave it another try today. UNBELIEVABLE, REALLY BAD. The employee asked for more, and yet I only got one sauce. Black chunks of meat in the kebab. The kebab only has meat (I even paid extra for more meat) and sauce—how could you possibly go wrong? It would almost be funny, if it wasn't truly sad. For €13, you don't even get full; the thing is so small, not even a hamster would get full. NEW AGAIN This place is definitely better than the one at the Exe. Prices are really steep, and far too low for that. The employees are quite nice, but it's unpleasant when one employee yells at other employees in front of the customers. Even though I ordered personally, it still lacked a party. Maybe not quite as hectic, then mistakes wouldn't happen all the time. If I were to pay !!!€13!!! When I order a kebab, I want everything on it and to be a set, but unfortunately, neither of those is the case. You can do it, but really good is something else entirely.

The self-ordering machine is confusing, so we had to specify what we wanted on it, which was left out of the receipt. After discussing it and showing it to the machine, we got a different kebab. It was very fresh, but the sauce was only on the bottom and not on the salad and meat, so it was just dry, so I put mayonnaise on it. The fries were sticky and dry. The kebab was like cardboard, and there was very little sauce, which made it very dry.

Confusing ordering system, and then the staff doesn't pay attention to the unnecessary details. Taste is mediocre at best.

The skewers looked very appealing, ordering via the terminal was easy, and the friendly staff quickly prepared the food. Unfortunately, like everywhere else in Flensburg, they only serve meat from a warming box. In my case, however, the meat wasn't warm either; it was completely oversalted, dry, and therefore inedible.

I ordered a doner kebab box there. There was almost no meat in it; I got a box with potato salad, so I don't really like that.

I almost vomited when I saw them spreading and stirring their meat sauce on the lahmacun with their bare hands, without gloves. They used to always wear gloves whenever they touched food, but unfortunately, that's gone.

Lahmacun with chicken, two of them, both very salty, with an interesting seasoning, not our taste. The salt content and seasoning made it just about acceptable for us. There was little to no tzatziki. It's the trend at all kebab shops: lots of meat and not a lot of vegetables.

Döner-Werk Flensburg delivers truly solid food in terms of both taste and price – so far, so delicious. However, the terminal feels a bit like a "Wish List" game: You click, pay, and ultimately hope that you get exactly what you imagined – the differences in the options are more guesswork than menu navigation. Unfortunately, the meat was only lukewarm, which briefly reminded me of the cafeteria in school – nostalgia included, after all! 😅 Nevertheless: it tasted good, I was filling, and the price was right. I'd be happy to go again – perhaps with a little extra heat for the meat and a clearer menu.

We ordered three things using the ordering machine, and the first thing that happened was that we didn't get a receipt. Then we had to tell the people, which was pretty difficult because the lady couldn't understand German at all, so it was quite hard to communicate. When the lady finally understood, we had to wait another 30 minutes for our order. After that, the lady was confused again because we STILL didn't have a receipt, and at first she didn't want to give us the food. I hope for a response and compensation for the poor service we received.

More and more expensive for less and less

It already happened several times that they got my order completely wrong. Today it happened again. I got spicy sauce I never asked for, and a portion of fries even though I ordered Churros. I was already home and couldn't drive to the mall again just because of this. This store will never get any of my money again.

The only shop in Flensburg where the kebab tastes good and you don't have to worry about hygiene or digestibility the next day. I tried the kebab and lahmacun, and both tasted good by Flensburg standards. The flour-covered bread was a bit dry, but not bad. The prices are the most expensive compared to other kebab shops, and the portions are relatively small. I love the self-service kiosks; they obviously take away the traditional kebab shop feel, and you automatically spend more. Wait times are long at peak times, despite the large number of staff.

The price is catastrophic for the amount of kebab. I can only agree with the other reviews.

Food tastes very delicious and nice staff

I had the kebab as a meal + pide for my wife and nuggets for my son. The kebab was really good 👍 but unfortunately, the chili cheese fries were left out of the menu, which was a shame. My wife wasn't so impressed with the pide. "A bit dry," she said. You couldn't go wrong with the nuggets, and the kid was happy. The shop is well organized, and it's easy to forget something in the hustle and bustle - no problem. All in all, a solid kebab shop.

I've always enjoyed your food, but lately I've noticed that the doner kebabs consist mostly of salad and contain very little meat. It used to be different, and I liked it much better. I hope you can get back to the old quality!

Of course, everything is getting more expensive, including the doner kebab. So it's no surprise that you have to shell out around €10 for a Dürüm doner kebab here. Which would be fine with me if I got a decent/tasty and reasonably generously topped doner kebab for that. Which wasn't the case. My doner kebab consisted primarily of thin bread and didn't even taste like a doner kebab. At the checkout, I was asked if I wanted cocktail sauce. On a doner kebab?! I declined and was given two other sauces, which were obviously forgotten during preparation. A doner kebab that tastes of nothing, when the sauce is what makes the doner kebab. All in all, a disgrace that will make me steer clear of DönerWerk in the future...

Food: This is what kebab has to be! Expensive - yes (in 2015, student kebab at the regular kebab was €2.70 + free can of cola) but well, that's just how it is. Bread is good, sauces are delicious and vegetables/meat taste fresh. Service: Machines, but things are relatively quick. Ambiance: enough to eat, it's not a feast for the eyes

The treatment is bad. Most of the visitors are angry. Most of the requests are not correct and they take a lot of time. I give them zero stars. I do not advise anyone to visit them.

Long time ago since I got such a bad doner kebab, don’t eat here, tasted really of nothing at all, and almost no meat in the rolls.

I was looking forward to it, but I have to admit that it tasted like nothing, you are just a number in the queue and there are few seats.

I thought it was chicken, but it turned out to be red meat. Maybe they shouldn't employ children anymore.

The wait was ok, the price had gone up a bit since the last visit. But most frustrating is the completely insane spotlight that shines right into your eyes, so strongly you want to go again before you've had your food. Also remember to remove the brown skin after you have removed the stone from the avocado, but I did so myself before the photo was taken.

The portion, especially when it comes to meat, has shrunk so much that it's ridiculous. Kebab plate "large" for 13€ with hardly any meat. And three times in a row. It's a shame, but that's how you lose regular customers. It's normal that prices go up, but if at the same time the portion gets smaller and smaller... no thanks, Dönerwerk! Luckily, there are a few other kebab shops in Flensburg where you can get something for your money.

That was the one with one of the worst kebabs I've ever eaten. We ordered the Chilicheese kebab🤮 Bread, although homemade, tasted like nothing. After ordering we were told there was no more chicken and we should wait an hour or take beef kebab. Then the service staff said after just a few seconds that the kebabs were ready. Doner kebabs dripping in grease that completely fell apart. There was hardly any sauce or meat. Cola was warm, tables were littered. A single catastrophe. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The food is good but the staff is very unfriendly: I ordered food and I wasn't asked about sauces, when I got my kebab I said that I couldn't tolerate yogurt. The staff told me they had asked me if I wanted everything (they didn't) and I said yes. Of course I didn't. The answer was incomprehensible and a simple “yes”. They didn't even offer to make me a new one. I would recommend everyone to order from the machine to avoid problems with the service.
