We had dinner at Willy's on November 6th, 2024. My stomach problem was responded to immediately, very friendly, and suggestions were made, which we thought were great. We ordered fried fish with side dishes and garlic mayonnaise. The waiting time was short and the food came very quickly. Everything is homemade, the fish is very fresh and breaded. It was very tasty and really recommended. You can expect a small, clear menu, but that's enough. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back 🤗

The slightly different restaurant. Very nice service, always up for a chat. We enjoyed it and were full too. The restaurant is deliberately decorated with small details. The only thing that can be tolerated is the toilet, which is only one in number for all genders. It's definitely due to the design and can't be changed, but everyone should be able to cope with it...it was clean and finished. We can again.

What an awesome, nice, friendly and cool shop! First time here, almost ended up at the kebab at first, but then not. And what luck! Here Flensburg is finally a big city. Immediately again! Thank you for this beautiful place!

Small, fine and delicious. Ambience and service great.

We went to this small, very friendly restaurant for lunch. The owner greeted us friendly and served us. Overall, his interaction with the guests was exceptionally warm and positive! The food is good. Not exceptional, but in the not exceptional it's really good: great fries, great side dishes (the cucumbers are bomb), great sauces (my wife had Joppie sauce and I was annoyed that I had used mayo). Definitely worth a visit!

The Nordic tapas are great for trying out the delicious products. The service is just super nice and attentive. The two of us felt very comfortable for a romantic meal! Gladly again. (Eaten a lot and drank a lot and tip/€30 per person)

We were there for lunch with our two kids. The map is manageable, which makes the selection easier. The dishes are therefore perfectly prepared with a lot of love. The various dips are a delight. For dessert there was great apple pie. Very nice staff, good service and delicious food. Clear recommendation for all fish lovers. Food is also available in vegetarian/vegan versions.

We arrived 35 minutes before closing time (which is already 8 p.m. on weekdays, mind you) super hungry after a long car ride and were already looking forward to the delicious fish we had been told about. We were politely turned away on site because the kitchen was already closed. Extremely disappointing at 7:25 p.m. We were so happy :(

Really nice atmosphere, good fried fish in an almost intimate atmosphere. Plus freshly tapped beer or a cocktail.

The people of Munich were guests in Flensburg. We are happy to give 5 points. Locally furnished with great attention to detail. We ordered five different meals and they were all very tasty. When we are back in Flensburg we will definitely come back.

Great recommendation! The dishes are super tasty, fresh and really worth the price. Fish & Chips come in all sorts of variations. If there is nothing there, you can even put together your own plate. The fish sandwiches and cakes also looked very promising. We felt completely at home, which was also due to the service in the small restaurant. Totally attentive and friendly, even though he had his hands full with a tour group. We will definitely come back next time we visit Flensburg! 😊

While looking for a fish restaurant we came across Willy on Google Maps. This small restaurant is absolutely recommended. We had fried fish with fries. My wife the “Flying Dutchman” version with Gouda chips and Joppie sauce, I the British version with pea puree, Willy onions and tartar sauce. I also ordered Joppie sauce. Our food was delicious. There was nothing to complain about. The service is very friendly and quick. If you want to eat delicious fish in Flensburg, you've come to the right place because the price/performance ratio is absolutely right. By the way, the renovation of the restaurant is a topic in the NDR/Nord report “A carpenter for special cases” from April 16, 2024, which can be accessed in the ARD media library until April 16, 2026.

We were looking forward to having fish & chips at this restaurant, but unfortunately, they were only serving Spanish tapas that evening. The atmosphere was great and the restaurant was very busy, so we ordered a selection from the very limited menu. The food was delicious but the portions were tiny in comparison to the many other tapas places we had been to, so we cut our losses and considered the "meal" as more of an appetizer. Still very enjoyable and well-presented food.

Cool, young location with a lot of attention to detail. This coupled with the mission of fish and chips, which leads to outstandingly fabulous dishes - a must, try everything here at least often and: repeat

We came here again today because we liked it so much two days ago and it tasted delicious. The team is very friendly and helpful when choosing. In our case, the food was very good and tasty and we really have nothing to complain about. Since everything is made fresh and some of the ingredients come from the region, the prices are good and fresh cuisine sometimes takes a minute longer if 5 tables order at the same time. We say “thank you” to the whole team and keep it up so we’ll be happy to see each other again the next time we visit Flensburg!

Our visit to Willy in Flensburg was simply sensational! We received an extremely friendly welcome when we called to make the reservation, and this impression continued seamlessly on site. The service was warm and attentive, making us feel welcome from the first minute. The absolute highlight, however, was the food. I have rarely eaten such fresh and perfectly prepared fish. Every side dish was prepared with love and perfection and harmonized perfectly with the main courses. The quality and taste were simply unsurpassed - it couldn't be better! We were also simply offered different sauces so that we could try them. Willy in Flensburg has definitely set the bar very high for fish restaurants. If you are in Flensburg and are looking for a first-class culinary experience in a cozy atmosphere, you should definitely stop by here. We'll definitely be back!

Vegan options, fast but unfortunately not friendly, attentive service. Vegan fried fish in a roll was delicious, but unfortunately the fries were below average.

The food at Willy's is very tasty, very freshly prepared and very tasty, the service is really very nice and friendly. We felt very comfortable. The ambience can be described as rather minimalist, although that does not detract from the popularity of the restaurant. We would love to go there again and can highly recommend the restaurant.

I once saw the store in a documentary. I went straight there the next time I was in Flensburg and I wasn't disappointed. Since then, I've only gotten my fish sandwich there when I'm in town.

A small restaurant located between the pedestrian zone and the harbor. Very tasty fish dishes that can be put together individually and good portion sizes. Dishes fresh and delicious. The prices for food and drinks are okay, even a little cheaper for a restaurant in this location than others in the pedestrian area. Friendly, attentive and fast team. However, only one (but immaculately clean) toilet for guests (regardless of gender), which of course becomes tight with many guests. Overall a recommended restaurant. Always happy!

A nice restaurant with lots of outside seating. It is close to the top of the harbor, but because of the road in between you can hardly see any of the water. But the location is still pleasant and at least after dinner you could take a nice walk along the harbor. :) The food was very good. My highlight was the stremella salmon flute, which had fresh herbs, pickled onions and even sprouts on it. You could choose between a light and a dark bun. The roll has a hefty price tag of €9.50, but it also had a lot of salmon on it, which you could tell was fresh. Second, I had a small portion of the Willy Classic Fish and Chips. Both the fries and the fish were very well prepared and not as greasy as you would find in fast food restaurants. The beetroot dip was also very refreshing. Overall, I noticed that the proportion of fish on the plate was not enough, even for the small order size. Still very tasty and definitely recommended. The service was friendly. The drinks were always there quickly, but the food took a little longer. I also had to wait longer than necessary to pay. But hey, I come from retail and know what a crowded Friday evening means. I don't blame anything like that. ;) Overall, just a nice atmosphere with a young, motivated team and fresh food. I also think it's particularly nice that vegan fish alternatives are offered. Definitely worth a visit!

We got fish and chips with various side dishes absolutely fine with good fish.

Outside you sit in a rustic style... on beer benches at beer tables or at oil barrels that have been converted into tables. Modern and stylish inside. Clear menu. The food was delicious. The carrot cake was special! The service was attentive and very friendly. The price was a bit too high and you had to wait a bit too long for the food.

The concept is convincing, the service is right and so are the prices. A nice place, especially if you can sit outside to watch the goings-on at the Flensburg harbor.

Here, with 7 people, we spent over 500€ on drinks in 4 hours (10€ per drink) although we didn't bother anyone and behaved in an exemplary manner, we were told that we should leave because the table was reserved (outside area in rainy weather). We called and were told there were free tables outside... impossible how you deal with well-paying customers.

Pretty hefty prices for very little quantity and taste. Why the fish sandwiches are called flutes is inexplicable to me. According to the staff, just pure marketing. If you need it... Oh yes, a fish sandwich is available here from €8.50! I had a pretty clear menu of wishes, "Willy's Choice", consisting of matjes that were quite flat in taste, quite sour jacket potato salad, cucumber trio (why it's called that) consisting of a sweet and sour, chunky cucumber mass and Willy dip (according to the menu, beetroot included). Horseradish, taste of neither is recognizable). Only the staff was friendly, even if wearing a hoodie takes some getting used to. The sanitary facilities are not signposted. When I asked, I was shown a pink door. Behind it there was a sink and a toilet, without any anteroom. It was reasonably clean, but there were no towels or at least a hand dryer to be found. Conclusion: Visited Willys. Checked off and done. It doesn't have to and won't happen again.

We deliberately visited the small restaurant today because of the very good reviews. And we must confirm that these are absolutely deserved. The food was really very tasty. No matter whether it's the fish, the side dishes, the salads or the dips. Everything is visually beautifully presented. If we didn't live 800 kilometers away, we would be regular guests from today on. Keep it up. Golden greetings :)

Really delicious fish and chips, lots of different versions so there's something for everyone. The fish as well as the fries were zero greasy or oily. Delicious. The staff are very friendly and know everything really well. The beer from the Lille Brewery was recommended to us and we were not disappointed and are always happy to be able to support small businesses. All in all, definitely worth a visit!

Top cocktail - probably exclusive to Flensburg - “Espresso Martini”. Does not sound good? True, but it tastes great and is served in a cold bowl. Great service/bartender very well advised and spectacularly prepared with fresh, real espresso. A straight A!

A very friendly, very popular and therefore well-attended fish restaurant with modern furnishings, creative dishes and very, very friendly service. What was cool was that we were able to leave our number because there weren't really any seats left, but just in case. We actually got a call and were able to sit at the bar, which also had its charm. We got to talk to the nice waiter so much more often, we didn't regret it! Individual requests were easily achievable and there are also (not plain, but high-quality) vegetarian and vegan dishes/alternatives to the fish dishes! A real insider tip!! Gladly again!

You're in good hands at Willy's if you don't want your meal to be run of the mill. The fish sandwiches are very good. The coffee selection is good and the quality is great. The atmosphere is relaxed and guests are welcome. We will definitely stop by Willy's often and try more than just a fish sandwich and a coffee.

The shop is really beautiful! You notice how much heart there is in everything. The taste of the food wasn't quite up to my liking, but it was nice to try something typical from the region. Service and prices are great.

The food preparer sits at the counter with a friend. After we ordered from the waitress, he went into the kitchen and after 5 minutes he was sitting at the counter again and watching us.
