St. Knudsborg in Flensburg

A wonderful restaurant that shines for each individual guest as well as for groups. I've eaten there in different constellations from two people on a nice evening to 120 people at celebrations and it was great every time. Gladly again.

Very tasty food and super nice service

Soooo, little update from yesterday... There were two of us, we had kale (a plated meal) and Wiener-style schnitzel (full)... both dishes were really great, both in terms of taste and quality... The portions were really generous 😊👌The service was friendly as always and attentive... Requests for changes are also addressed. We left completely satisfied and are already looking forward to the next time... Older post:👇 In terms of taste, the food was really great... not so run-of-the-mill, which for me particularly applies to the burger, which is rightly called Galloway, as it also makes the difference in terms of taste. (so not just chie chie). Price-performance ratio is appropriate given the quality. Good quality just has its price. The staff at reception and on the phone were very friendly and helpful... Small "points of criticism"... I might have: 1) unfortunately the French fries were almost cold when they arrived... okay, I picked them up myself, but in a Styrofoam box and a maximum 10 minute drive 2) unfortunately changes to the salad were not taken into account (no cucumbers) 3) The food can also be picked up in reusable containers, unfortunately I was missing this information or it wasn't offered to me... otherwise I would have liked to take advantage of it. ...so complaining at a high level. I will definitely order here more often.

We were there for kale dinner. Everything tasted very good. The smoked pork and sausage were juicy and tender. You can taste the quality here. The service was friendly and attentive and particularly enhanced our stay. We can only warmly recommend this restaurant!

I have no criticism. I had the Mamma Mia Burger with Gallowei beef, country ham and parmesan. The mix of ingredients was just perfect. The onions were super braised, the tomatoes were fried, attention was paid to the details. The fries, only salted if requested, turned out perfectly and couldn't be improved. Service great. I will definitely eat here again.

Unfortunately there are only 2 stars for the good food, we had kale, and for the nice waiter who served us all evening. What wasn't so nice was the cheeky and unfriendly announcement from another employee that we could still order a drink, but we had to leave the restaurant in half an hour or pay a flat rate of €40.00 per employee. We had a Christmas party there and were not informed that we could only stay there for a limited time or else we would have to pay this flat rate. It wouldn't be a problem at all if it had been communicated to us in a friendly and objective manner. But the cheeky comments the employee made were very inappropriate. We literally felt thrown out. It's a shame it was a nice evening.

Yesterday the four of us ate kale for dinner. We sat in the extremely cozy winter garden. It was super tasty and more than we could eat. The service is very professional, friendly and prompt. Despite a large group of people in the other room, our food was served quickly. It's just fun to be pampered there and it's nice that my guests are as impressed with St. Knudsborg as I am.

Delicious kale is available here! Unfortunately, I have to admit that I lived in the immediate vicinity of St. Knudsborg for a good 20 years around the turn of the millennium, but never been there... :-) We made up for it at the weekend and were not disappointed. The service was very friendly and quick. The drinks were there in a few minutes, the food came about 15-20 minutes after ordering. Considering that the store was quite busy, this was a good achievement. We both had kale (dish) with extra sweet potatoes. The portion was generous (fried potatoes and sweet potatoes were served separately) and we both really enjoyed it. Another visit to test more dishes is already planned :-)

We had a birthday dinner in the Chancellor Room on November 9th, 2024. We were very satisfied with the food and the service. If we had sat in the restaurant or in the winter garden, we would have been even happier.

Very nice restaurant, also suitable for larger or smaller parties. In summer with a beer garden. We ate wonderfully. Seasonally there was half duck (very tasty) with either croquettes or homemade dumplings. I had the classic “veal schnitzel”, my husband had a “Knuds” burger🍔😋 with a Galloway patty. My husband was very pleased that the meat was fresh, not from the freezer as is often the case. We didn't manage to eat dessert. The portions were too big for that.

It was great! Great weather, we could sit at the open glass front (so basically outside), the two waiters were attentive and very nice and the food was great! Large selection on the menu (which gave us pause at first, but it was all really good). Pork medallions, fish platter (three types of fish fillets + scampi) and lumberjack steak (from the barbecue menu). Everything was very good - including the accompanying sauces, fried potatoes, croquettes, vegetable julienne and braised onions. Gladly again!

Tip, for everyone who wants to enjoy good food in Flensburg, we only made a stopover and ate here. Very tasty food, very nice service and relaxed atmosphere. We were very satisfied!

Very nice restaurant. Staff was totally friendly. Everyone enjoyed the food. My panfish, however, was over-fried on one side. That's why I deducted a star from the food. But we can highly recommend the restaurant.

Going here on a recommendation and it was a great recommendation 👍🏻❗️💯 The waiter was on top of his game even though he was busy. We had the homemade aioli in advance and the main courses were the pan fish with brilliant fried potatoes and mixed salad as well as pork fillet on mushrooms and croquettes, which we didn't quite manage 😋❗️ The Flens or Lilith was also delicious 🍹 Price/performance is right here 💰 Highly recommended.

We had a burger that was great, everything was right. The Mediterranean asparagus pan was unfortunately unseasoned and only consisted of vegetables and 3 thin green asparagus spears, which was actually supposed to be grilled. But I haven't been able to determine this. I imagined something different when it came to pan-fried asparagus. On the last visit it was called vegetable pan, the name would have been better. The service was super friendly and competent, brought pesto and an espresso with ice cream on the house.

The best cuisine is still on offer for fans of down-to-earth cuisine. We had herring that was as tender as in Holland and burgers. Even an extra request with aioli was fulfilled.

We went to Knudsborg to eat asparagus and were not disappointed. The chef Sven Jürgensen conjured up a fantastic meal with delicious asparagus as well as tasty hollandaise sauce and cat ham. The service was super friendly and attentive. An all around successful evening!

This is a very nice restaurant with a rich menu where everyone can find something. When we were there this evening we were greeted very friendly and even though there was a lot to do, we got a table straight away and our food was very tasty and filling. The restaurant is very tastefully furnished and ... the price-performance ratio is also right ... we were given a very nice farewell and would be happy to come back.

We were there at 6:30 p.m. Since there was a lot of activity at that time, everything took a little longer, but the food was very good. The service was very nice and attentive.

Home-style cooking in a pleasant atmosphere.

The food was excellent. I would give 5 stars if the fries were homemade too. The service was great. My dessert order was briefly forgotten, but it was very busy and the small mistake was charmingly acknowledged and immediately corrected. I think the atmosphere is good. Here and there it could be even more comfortable (in the winter garden). But overall we had a great evening and would come back any time.

The St. Knudsborg restaurant at Flensburg's Munketoft is almost an institution. The food is quite good, not spectacular but tasty, the service is attentive and the atmosphere is nice. The restaurant offers two bowling alleys, each with two lanes. What spoils the enjoyment somewhat is the price-performance ratio; The performance is good, but the price charged is clearly too high.

Really delicious food! The only negative things I can say are the ice-cold toilet and the far too stuffy room. But the service was great and the food was A+

Gutes Essen (Grünkohl mit allem drum und dran), nette Bedienung, ein rundum gelungener Abend.

Sehr zuvorkommender Service. Getränke sowie Essen wurden zeitnah serviert, also keine langen Wartezeiten. Gruß an die Küche, das Essen war sehr schmackhaft und wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Gestern zum ersten Mal zum Grünkohl essen da. Sehr leckeres Grünkohl mit Bratkartoffeln süßen Kartoffeln nach Wahl, rote Beete und Gurken. Das Tellergericht ist super ausreichend. Grünkohl gibt es aber auch all you can eat. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Die. Karte war sehr ansprechend.

Wir wurden in der Lokalität herzlich empfangen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir mussten leider einen Augenblick auf unser Essen warten, was uns aber nicht gestört hat da wir während der Wartezeit gut versorgt wurden. Restaurant ist zu empfehlen, wir kommen gerne wieder.
