Sehr schönes uriges Ambiente - Klasse Auswahl an Flammkuchen, sehr gut zubereitet und absolut lecker.

Schon beim Ankommen fühlt man sich direkt willkommen. Alle Angestellten sind total nett und freundlich. Das Restaurant ist in einem alten Speicherhaus und mit sehr viel Charme eingerichtet. Ich hatte eine hausgemachte Zitronenlimonade und einen Elsässer Flammkuchen und kann beides uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Flensburg gerne wieder.

Dieses Restaurant können wir ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen. Die Flammkuchen waren sehr lecker (wir hatten den Franzosen und den Norweger). Die Flammkuchen waren sinnvoll angerichtet. Sie waren vorgeschnitten und so konnte man die Stücke gut in die Hand nehmen und jeder konnte vom anderen kosten. Die beiden Herren, die die Gäste bedient haben, waren sehr freundlich, serviceorientiert und den Gästen zugewandt. Das war sehr angenehm. Das Ambiente und die Einrichtung waren urig. Wir werden unseren Aufenthalt in Flensburg sicher für weitere Besuche in diesem Restaurant nutzen.

Der ganze Laden, einfach alles ist der Wahnsinn. Reingehen, urig schöne Atmosphäre, Kopf ausschalten und den leckeren Flammkuchen bei nem guten Wein genießen. Perfekter Ausklang für einen Tag :)

Sehr sehr nettes Personal. Entspannte Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Etwas dunkleres Licht, eventuell für ältere Personen problematisch, aber wohlfühl Licht! Chillige Musik in guter unauffälliger Lautstärke. Würde immer wieder kommen!!!!

Sehr leckere Flammkuchen. Besonders niedlich ist das Ambiente in einem alten Speicher. Auch der Innenhof bietet gemütliches Flair. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Großartiges Essen und ein sehr schönes Ambiente. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Es könnte 1-2 Euro zu teuer sein. Aber definitiv empfehlenswert.

Ein wirklich nettes Lokal, wo man verschiedene Flammkuchen bekommt. Wir haben fünf verschiedene probiert, und unser Favorit war der spanische, aber alle waren auch lecker.

5 Sterne! Das Essen war absolut lecker und das Ambiente wirklich toll. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl, was vor allem an den freundlichen Menschen dort liegt. Ein besonderes Lob an den Koch – man schmeckt die Leidenschaft! Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Sehr gemütliches Lokal mit einer stimmigen Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich, und auch der Koch weiß definitiv, was er tut. Wir hatten insgesamt drei Flammkuchen: den klassischen Elsässer, den Franzosen und den Norweger – alle drei waren wirklich top. Dazu gab es noch eine Flasche Wein, was das Ganze perfekt abgerundet hat. Wenn man richtig satt werden möchte, sollte man allerdings schon zwei Stück essen. Ansonsten ein super Lokal – absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir fahren gerne von Hørsholm nach Flensborg, um das Restaurant Nikolai zu besuchen. Der köstliche Flammkuchen und der freundliche, herzliche Service sind die Reise absolut wert. Sehr empfehlenswert. Eine Tischreservierung ist ratsam.

Wir hatten in einer kleinen Gruppe einen gelungenen Abend im Nikolai. Freundliche Bedienung, tolles Essen, gute Getränke und zum Abschluss noch einen Maracuja- Shot. Das Ambiente in unserer früheren Disco (Speicher) ist sehr schön.

Super schöner Ort, um einen gemütlichen Abend mit leichter Kost zu verbringen. Die Flammkuchen (wir hatten Pariser und Italiener) haben sehr gut geschmeckt und es war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Auch die Vorspeisen an den Nebentischen sahen außerordentlich lecker aus. Die Bedienung wie auch der Koch waren sehr freundlich und man durfte sich auch einen netten Schnack mit dem Koch abholen :) Das Ambiente war sehr gemütlich (gerade auch durch die Beleuchtung- nicht zu viel und nicht zu wenig. Zudem ist es mit passenden Details überlegt eingerichtet...einfach so, dass man sich wohlfühlt).Ich gehe gerne wieder dorthin und kann es nur empfehlen.

An absolute must on any visit to Flensburg! I'm in Flensburg quite often myself and always look forward to eating here. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff, especially the chef, are incredibly friendly, and the tarte flambée is simply delicious. My favorite is the "French" one.

Our Christmas party this year took place on November 28th, 2025 at Nikolai. A complete success! A cozy atmosphere, delicious tarte flambée, a great team, and fair prices. Thank you so much. I'll definitely be back for a private dinner.

The nice waiters could have used an extra colleague or two. We waited almost an hour for the food.... well we had a good time, but that's a long time for 2 teens. Good food, nice Riesling, good atmosphere.

Other than Weinstube, I really enjoy going to Nikolai to seek for exquisite Flammkuchen in Flensburg. I enjoy their vegetarian selection and the service is really friendly! Very nice atmosphere and the place is much more spacious. There are also Steckdose to charge your phone or in case you need to work. The ambience of the place is just cozy and it’s located right by the city center.

I arrived from Aarhus at lunch and immediately began searching for good restaurants, soon finding Nikolai. I had to wait until 5pm for it to open, but it was a worthwhile wait. The Flammkuchen is fantastic, cooked to perfection with a great balance of flavours. The beer is crisp and refreshing, and the service was friendly, multilingual, and overall top notch. It was fairly quiet when I visited, so I was served very quickly, but even on busy days I think this place would definitely be worth the wait. As I said, I made the trip from Denmark, primarily for shopping, but I think next time my trip will be for shopping and Flammkuchen!

Traditionally, we try to eat flammkuchen every time we're on holiday in Germany or France, and we now have some reference points. Nikolai's flammkuchen are perfectly flavorful and have a wonderfully crispy crust—the best we've had so far. The waiter and chef are both very friendly and create a cozy atmosphere. The price is also very reasonable. Highly recommended. Just off the main shopping street!

The tarte flambée and homemade lemonade were delicious. The staff was very friendly, and 'Manu' in the kitchen was also super funny. We'd love to come back here again, but unfortunately we're only in Flensburg for a short time. You feel truly welcome here. That's something many restaurants have long since forgotten... Guests are actually desired and always welcome. What can I say? Best tarte flambée ever!!! We had the classic (Alsatian) and the “Spanish”. Both really great. Plus perfect service and a cool ambience. You could only work on white wine, but there are no deductions for that. We will come back next time we visit Flensburg. Thanks

A very cozy restaurant in great rooms. The food is very tasty and fresh. The wine from the Palatinate is excellent. The whole thing is supported by extremely friendly and service-oriented staff. Many restaurants can learn a lot from this. We'd love to come back!

The best sandwich in all of Flensburg, the service knows everything well and the beer is varied and Störtebeker is a welcome distraction compared to Flens (nothing against Flens). Rustic and modern will be perfect for relaxation in this hole in the wall. Vegan and vegetarian dishes are available, but there is also meat. Anyone can eat here. The Nikolai is a nice meeting place in the center of Flensburg. Delicious food and drinks in a beautiful ambience invite you to socialize. Gladly again.

Unfortunately we were forgotten by the waitress and received a schnapps on the house as an apology. After our drinks came quickly, we waited over an hour for our tarte flambées. Unfortunately the tarte flambées were disappointing and nothing special.

Sure. Anyone who uses a wheelchair like me can only sit outside and not use the toilet. It's best to come as a wheelchair user with an empty bladder and then later use the customer wheelchair toilet in the extra sheet Gr Str 61. The food is very tasty, carafes of water are placed there. You will be served quickly. On my most recent visit I ate the sweet one and took a Norwegian and an Alsatian with me. Had cocoa and coffee with milk because I can't tolerate any alcohol. Yummy. Mega. Always happy to come back.

The “Franzose” flamenkuchen was a perfect combination of salty and sweet flavors, derived by the blend of goat cheese and bacon together with the sweetness of the dates. I’d come again just for this flamenkuchen. The service was on point as well. A small beer and a flamenkuchen will set you back about €15.

The staff is exceptional. We are also happy to respond to individual requests. Food and drinks were very tasty.
