The Punch Forest in Flensburg – where the Christmas tree smells of mulled wine and everyday life takes a break 🌲🍷✨ In the heart of Flensburg, right next to the German House, lies a little piece of Christmas magic: the legendary Punch Forest. A place where you briefly forget that you actually just wanted to "quickly pop into town" – and suddenly find yourself in a fairytale pine forest with a steaming mug of mulled wine. As soon as you enter, you think: Wait a minute, am I still in Flensburg or in a Scandinavian Christmas movie? Lights shine everywhere between real (yes, real!) fir trees, the ground smells of pine needles and vanilla, and somewhere a lonely bell clangs – probably from the last person trying to find their friends at the punch stand. The Punch Forest is cleverly designed: There are little nooks everywhere, standing tables, and seating areas that look as if they were decorated by Santa Claus himself. This is a wonderful place to meet up with friends, toast, laugh – and, of course, discuss which punch is the best. (Spoiler alert: It's always the one steaming in your hand.) The service? So friendly you'd almost think they'd undergone additional training with the angels. Despite the crowds, there's always a smile, a quick joke – and the punch arrives faster than the inner frost even has a chance. And the mulled wine? A poem. Not too sweet, not too strong, but just right for rediscovering the joy of life at minus two degrees. If you're feeling adventurous, try the specialty punches – from the classic Cherry Dream to the Nordic Rum Adventure (be careful: it comes with an afterburner!). A little tip from the "pro": Go early! It gets cozy towards the evening – and not just because the heaters are on. So if you want to snag a seat, you'd better come before half of Flensburg gets the same idea. Conclusion: The Flensburg Punch Forest is no ordinary Christmas market – it's an oasis of twinkling lights, the scent of pine, and liquid joie de vivre. Great atmosphere, great music! Beautifully decorated for Halloween, and there was free popcorn😋👍🏼❤️

It's almost become a tradition to kick off our New Year's Eve visit with friends. The punch forest is very unusual and atmospheric for us. We don't have anything like it here in Ratingen. It's at least as nice for punch as the Christmas market. No crowds, and there's plenty of room to sit if you want. A great concept 👍🏼

Personally, I find it too crowded this year. I don't think table reservations are appropriate for the Punschwald. Either you get there on time or you have to find another seat. But that's just my personal opinion... I like the many different types of punch, but also the fact that they serve beer.

First impression really good but people and price make the experience terrible

It was very cozy and there were little niches where you could sit. They invited you to linger and made the time fly by. The apple punch is also highly recommended.

Security, very irritated, grabs a can from a woman's hand that she had taken with her and throws it away. According to the figurehead, it is not forbidden. There were several punches on the table and it wasn't about consciously saving the drinks.

A really cozy place,, but to get the last star I would like Christmas music to be played instead of pop/rock, there are so many wonderful songs for Christmas and that would contribute even more to the Christmas atmosphere. 🎅🎅🌲🌲🌲🌲

Fast, friendly service. Drinks very tasty like every year. Prices are of course adjusted, but okay.

Very comfortable, we were there with 10 people. The sausage in the bun was good, but not spectacular. The cocoa & apple punch is even better!

Wonderful at Christmas time. Drink a mulled wine or chocolate outside in slightly sheltered areas.

Today we were in the punch forest. It is really recommended and simply beautiful. You can relax in small cozy nooks with punch and chips and you won't get cold thanks to the heaters. A truly idyllic location that you should visit. Unfortunately, I have to say that there is also something that stood out as particularly negative to our entire table. We stood in line at the fries stand for a relatively long time. (Which isn't bad either) What we found bad, however, was the tone of the employee towards her colleague and the guests. He simply couldn't do anything to please her and was reprimanded in a harsh tone the entire time. He really tried hard and did what he could at every point while she commented on him and collected the money. Friendliness towards guests also looks different for me. A guest asked for a change after placing the order. She commented on this with the sentence: please come earlier next time. Sorry, but that's just the job. I hope the lady had a bad day today for once. Of course, I told her my observation myself and made her aware of it. Working is easier with a smile ;-)

That was a truly amazing experience. I'll pass the idea on to our city. Check it out. (We didn't eat anything, but it's good that there was only one stand) It was just a great PUNSCHWALD.

It's a shame that it doesn't exist everywhere

Still fair mulled wine prices, a wonderful ambience with healing lamps, benches, tables and a roof. The punch tastes good, but it's nothing particularly special, but you don't miss that. The selection of drinks is large and the serving of O'Donnell schnapps is pleasing. All in all, worth a visit (or several)!

Eine schöne Idee mit gemütlichem Flair. Kleines aufgebautes Tannenwäldchen mit gemütlichen durch Wärmestrahler beheizte Sitzecken. Verschiedene leckere Punschvariationen. Unbedingt einen Besuch wert.

Outdoor, aber es sind beheizte, wind- und regengeschützte Sitzecken vorhanden. Sehr gemütliches Ambiente, der Name ist Programm.

Ein Märchenwald für Erwachsene... Schöne Feuertonnen, die Wärme spenden, viele Sitzmöglichkeiten, nettes Personal, es war ein schöner Ausklang eines interessanten Tages, wird jetzt jedes Jahr auf der Agenda stehen.

Auch wenn es Punschwald heißt waren mir dort zu viele Tannen und die Wege sehr eng dadurch

Liebevoll aufgebaute Waldlandschaft mit Schwedenbänken und Holzöfen zum Aufwärmen. Nicht günstig, aber aufgrund der ganzen Location und der Qualität der verschiedenen Punschsorten jeden Cent wert.

Wie jedes Jahr einfach nur schön; ein eben etwas anderer Weihnachtsmarkt 👍👍👍

Habe es endlich geschafft den Punschwald zu besuchen. Hatte mich auch sehr darauf gefreut. Leider wurden ich und meine Freunde enttäuscht. Wir hatten uns das anders vorgestellt. Es ist ziemlich eng. Man läuft gefühlt durch ein Labyrinth, und das mit heißer Tasse in der Hand . Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten zum Sitzen für große Gruppen, als kleine Gruppe oder zu zweit muss man einen Stehtisch im Gang nutzen, wenn einer frei ist und steht dann dort allein oder muss für durchlaufende Gäste Platz machen. Man kommt somit nicht mit anderen ins Gespräch. Außerdem hätte ich gern eine Glühgin getrunken, aber bei meiner Bestellung wurde mir mitgeteilt, das dauert,der muss erst gemacht werden. Warten wollte ich nicht, da die anderen ja auch gleich bekommen haben. Schade, im Ganzen . Unser Besuch war Samstag Abend.

Was für ein einzigartiges und tolles Konzept! Wer hier nicht hingeht hat was verpasst. Unzählige Tannenwege die einem den Weg zu gemütlichen und auch noch beheizten Sitzecken zeigen. Immer ein freundliches Team und leckere Getränke und Speisen. Wirklich ein Erlebnis! Ganz klare Empfehlung!

Super schöner Punschwald zur Weihnachtszeit mit vielen Möglichkeiten. Hier kann man stehen,sitzen oder einfach die Seele baumeln lassen 😁 Getränke in reichlicher Auswahl und die Pommes und Bratwurst waren auch sehr lecker. Ein Besuch lohnt sich. Update: Auch beim 2.Besuch fehlte leider die weihnachtliche Musik, das geht auf alle Fälle besser !

Schöner selbstgebauter Punschwald mit vielen kleinen Nischen mit Sitzgelegenheiten und Heizstrahler. In der Mitte befindet sich eine Durchsichtige Kunstoffkuppel mit Palmen und Barhocker. Ebenfalls befindet sich dort eine alter Bus mit Sitzgelegenheiten

War dieses Jahr das erste mal dort und fand es super klasse da den abend gemütlich zu zweit zu verbringen

Wie ein kleiner Weihnachtsmarkt, ist super schön hier und es gibt leckeres Trinken und Essen!

A unique experience. A kind of pop-up pine tree forest, with narrow and somewhat confusing passages, even though there are plank signs put up. In the dark, some of the signs are hard to read, because of awkward, but atmospheric lighting. The special thing about this place is, that all is outdoor, there are many cosy niches with seating (roofed picknick benches, a small igloo dome, a retro double decker bus), and there are little huts where punch and portions of food can be purchased. The place is small considering how popular it is, so chances of getting a seat anywhere is small. So be prepared to enjoy your drink or food in a standing position and hope, that it will keep you warm in winter.

Für das Essen kann ich nicht viel sagen, da ich nichts gegessen habe da, deswegen lasse ich dir Bewertung aus. Service und Ambiente sind Top. Sehr gemütlich gemacht mit den kleinen Bankgruppen als sogenannte "Separees". Um noch einen Platz zu ergattern, würde ich schon Recht früh hingehen.

Wie immer ur-gemütlich. Schön verwinkelt, mit Glück gibt es einen Sitzplatz aber auch stehen ist okay dort. Kaum ein Sitzplatz wie der andere. Von DoppeldeckerBus über Plastik-Igloo zu den gemütlichen Jagdhütten-Tischen. Immer einer der Stände/Buden ist gerade mit weniger Andrang und es gibt viel Getränkeauswahl mit und ohne Alkohol. Echt tolle location.

Gemütlich und wie ein Wald mit überdachten sitzecken und auch geschlossenen Bereichen falls es mal sehr schlechtes Wetter ist Zentral in Flensburg und gut erreichbar gelegen
