To take €16.80 for a solid Max, which consists of a slice of bread, 2 eggs, raw ham and a pickle, you have to ask yourself what stock prices the owner looked at in order to take this price. Calculation seems to be a foreign word there.

Our favorite hotel in the Harz Mountains. We've been here several times and will be back because everything is just perfect. Great location, cozy apartments furnished with attention to detail, a great breakfast, and friendly staff.

The food was fresh and tasted okay, but unfortunately nothing more. The big negative point, however, is the operation. I was treated unkindly, even though I am always polite and respectful. That doesn't work at all. In addition, the prices were not justified, especially considering the long waiting time. Unfortunately I don't recommend it.

We went there for dinner on the second day of Christmas, the Christmas menu and the buffet were overpriced at €19 just because it was Christmas. The manageress is not friendly, you get grumpy looks when you come in and people look at you when you bring a dog. We liked everything better 3.5 years ago. We went there again for the buffet and were disappointed, €18.90 per person is pretty steep. Mushrooms were cold and not cooked through. Nothing special, always the same. I think €9.90 is very expensive for a child who only wants dessert and ice cream. We won't be coming back, it has gotten a lot worse in the last 4.5 years.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff was consistently very friendly and accommodating. We were particularly impressed by the food – plentiful, delicious, and with great touches like bacon cooked in two different ways (yum, extra crispy!). The location is also ideal. The attached saltwater thermal bath had its ups and downs. The saltwater pool itself was rather average, and we missed a truly hot pool. On the other hand, the saunas were excellent! There was a steam infusion every hour, and the snow sauna was a highlight. Unfortunately, it was a bit confusing at first because there was no map. But once you got your bearings, you could relax wonderfully. Overall, a great stay with some small room for improvement – ​​we'd love to come back! 😊

Na ja ich habe schon wesentlich besser gegessen. Ich hatte den Haxentopf! Das Haxenfleisch und die Sauce dazu haben metallisch geschmeckt. Meine Vermutung ist, das es sich um ein Dosengericht gehandelt hat, wahrscheinlich wurde es auch in der Dose erhitzt. Wenn das so ist, dann steht das Verhältnis von Preis und Leistung nicht im Verhältnis.
