Very loving staff. I have rarely experienced this. Service was great

Ate there yesterday and ordered a mixed grill plate for 2 people. Ordered an extra tzatziki for 6.50 euros and you weren't informed that there was a hot sauce and a small tzatziki with the meal because it wasn't on the menu. Starter salad was a small salad with a small piece of tomato, a slice of cucumber, some cabbage and green salad, salad dressing from the supermarket, when you worked your way down everything was completely watery, I wouldn't serve a salad before I put out a salad like that. Curiously, the restaurant was very full and we got a 2-person table on the left at the end, which was so small, narrow and uncomfortable that you could hardly move and sometimes you had to put things on the window sill so that nothing would fall off. With the grill plate, rice was completely overcooked, fries were rather mushy, meat was partly tough and the rump steak wasn't a real rump steak, in the middle of the grill plate there was an orange that was cut open at the bottom so that some of the fries and meat tasted like orange because it leaked a little. The tzatziki was 1 to 1 like the tzatziki from Aldi from the small buckets. It really tasted 1 to 1, I was happy that the extra tzatziki had been forgotten, but I later found the 6.50 euros on the bill when I asked the waiter about it She took it out again for 6.50 and said she didn't notice that I wasn't served the tzatziki, but she was the only waitress who gave out the food. You don't need to go to a restaurant for this meal and I'm very, very surprised how you can give extremely good reviews here, I have a lot of knowledge about quality but unfortunately this food has nothing to do with quality that you say here I come to eat again, it's a shame But unfortunately I won't be eating there anymore because you want to enjoy yourself in the restaurant and it has very little to do with enjoyment.

We ate very tasty there today. The Balkan plate was plentiful, and the schnitzel filled with cheese and ham and hollondaise sauce was also very tasty! Clear recommendation!

Cevapcici were 15 cm long sausages made from dry minced pork, my wife's gyros was bacony and fatty, it seemed to come from the pan rather than the grill, the fries were in the fat for too long, which was obviously not hot enough, the rice was probably too It had already been heated several times, the young waitresses were nice, but one star would be too much for the food and therefore not a recommendation at all - we ordered pola-pola and gyro plates

Located right on the promenade, very pleasant. You can also eat outside. The food was really good and filling. The staff is very friendly. You should employ an extra waitress for the tables outside. The outdoor wicker furniture would be more comfortable if you had the padding for the backrest. On the whole, the restaurant is recommended, the prices are ok 👍

Very tasty food, we had schnitzel with hollandaise sauce and rascjici (or something like that), which were pork loin skewers, with some salad, fries, duvji (or something like that) rice, tzatziki and a spicy red sauce. The loin was very tender and not too dry and a very good seasoning. The waitresses were very nice and polite. Gladly again, eating is fun

The fillet was very tasty and juicy, unfortunately the rice was so salty that you really couldn't eat it. The baguette was somewhat reminiscent of the shitty baked panini breads. The blonde waitress probably didn't give enough of a tip, and the Julischka that other guests got wasn't given to us. A pity.

Sorry if I correct my rating. The people there are still trying very hard - but if the guests feel ice cold around their necks, then you can turn off the air conditioning - and the food was, at least in the past, much better. Maybe the holiday season?

The staff is the only positive thing about this place. The food is a disaster! Nothing we ordered (baked feta and gyros gratinated with cheese) was freshly made. The feta was similar to the frozen Camembert, which was thrown into the deep fryer and ready... Plus a little iceberg salad which, oh wonder, was served with a ready-made sauce (it felt like every restaurant in the town had the same sauce). In Balkan cuisine I know baked feta in a pan, on vegetables with olive oil and herbs. When I asked, I was told that it was a Croatian restaurant and that's how it is there...Aha... The gyro was prepared with hollandaise sauce and cheese. What the sauce was doing there remained unclear. Unfortunately, the gyro was also of poor quality, just dry, despite being soaked in sauce. That's quite an achievement! Regarding the ambience, I would like to mention that the chair at the table next to me was covered/splattered from top to bottom with something that had already dried out. I think, whether rustic or modern, cleanliness is a must. All in all, this was the culinary highlight and even though the area definitely has a lot to offer in terms of landscape and culture, gastronomically it is an absolute no-go.

Not recommendable. We were in Bad Harzburg for a weekend and chose this restaurant. It started when I ordered a Fanta and didn't receive an original Fanta, some cheap orange soda was served. As a starter we ordered bread with tzatziki and stuffed and baked mushrooms. The bread was the cheap baked Ciabatts bread from the supermarket and something like that is served to you for €6.99. And now the kicker: the mushroom dish for an incredible €10.99 consisted of 4 small mushrooms that were fished out of the mushroom cream sauce. They weren't filled, there was just a little cheese sprinkled on top, but the mushrooms were 4-5cm big and you had 4 of them, served with some salad for €10.99.. so it couldn't be naughtier! For the main course I ordered a schnitzel, which was served with a frozen vegetable mix from the supermarket and frozen fries from the bag. Unfortunately, I found a large piece of metal in my dish. The nice waiter, who was the only positive experience in this restaurant, gave us a complete waiver of the price of the dish due to the circumstances and we “only” had to pay €8 for the mushroom dish, which was still a disgrace for what we received . I would really give 0 stars if I could. That was really a waste of €50 that we spent that evening. Unfortunately, an absolute flop!

A lot from sitting and dirty chairs. Stained wallpaper. After we looked through the kitchen serving compartment and saw that people were smoking and ashing on the floor, we got up and left without eating there. It doesn't work at all!

Gyros and fries were very tasty, well seasoned. Unfortunately, I ordered the gyro gratinated, which turned out to have a non-homemade hollandaise sauce and a simple slice of cheese. This is cheap and definitely better!!! The fries were served with tzatziki and a red spicy sauce, which were very tasty, but the bowls were so full that there would have been enough for 10 people! Female service rather lackluster...the young man was very hard-working and friendly.

We live in 2024, not 1954. Card payment not possible, only cash. And there is no mention of it. The service was ok, the staff friendly. The quality of the food was acceptable.

We had a really delicious meal here 3 times last week. The atmosphere is cozy due to the decor and the soft music in the background and the service is really super friendly. The prices are also good and certainly not expensive. We would love to come back here again when we are in the area.

We made a reservation by phone 10 days ago for today, 7 p.m. When we arrived, after asking twice, a young, unfriendly waitress only offered us a table outside (not set and directly on the busy street). Everything inside would be full. And that despite reservations. It's Saturday after a bridge day and we now have the exciting task of looking for another table. Thanks for nothing!

Since all Greek restaurants in Bad Harzburg are apparently closed on Wednesdays, we came here by chance and were pleasantly surprised: there was also a gyros plate here - and it was delicious! The surroundings were also right. Thumbs up!

Extrem racist. Except to white European-looking people. I paid 15.90 Euros for a wonderful Schnitzel Wiener Art... war herrlich. I ate 2 pommes frites in 17 minutes and invited the waiter to sit wite me 1 minute so I could give him and his boss, who is Croatian [doesn't speak German nor English] and the entire staff at Adria the highest compliment... and because I was too slow eating, I was kicked out of the Restaurant... and that the police would be called upon to arrest me? I was only working on my Consulting business with Manhattan, NY... with an international Kanzlei that has offices in Shanghai, usw... quietly...is that a crime? Strange.

Speechless... Restaurant which is getting old. I don't understand so many different reviews in the last few months. Ambient disaster. Food inedible. Arrangement from Food not nice. Eat gyros raw. Service was still very nice. Don't come back. No recommendation. Rip off.

One star too many. Ambience very uncomfortable. This needs to be renovated. Service very nice. Food inedible for us. One meal came wrong, which wouldn't have been so bad, but then there were also two dishes with meat that were half raw. We called service and complained about this. The waitress was very friendly but just shrugged her shoulders. Probably not an isolated case. We only paid for the drinks. It's a shame that there is so much operational blindness here.

Four of us had dinner at Adria last week. I haven't eaten meat this good for a long time. The price-performance ratio was great. Apart from the somewhat dusty, but nevertheless loving atmosphere, everything was fine. The service was very friendly. Any time.

Mittlerweile habe ich auch schon einiges probieren dürfen und es hat jedes mal geschmeckt! Die Portionen sind groß genug und ich war kein Gyros Fan mehr, jetzt esse ich ihn dort am liebsten, mit der scharfen und milden Soße lecker lecker lecker...eine Hausspezialität, das "Schnizel Adria" also wer ein Schnitzel so nochnicht gegessen hat, der verpasst was.

Very tasty food at fair prices and super friendly service. I also found the atmosphere OK and cozy. Who cares about adhesive tape as a window seal? I have other priorities when it comes to food 😉 I can only recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back.

If you don't mind the ambience, which is actually getting old, there is a restaurant to choose from here that you can go to a second time. The service was very good, the order was taken quickly and the drinks were on the table shortly afterwards. You don't have to wait too long for the food either. The food itself tasted very good. The meat was cooked to perfection. The fries were also good. For two people with a starter, main course and drink it costs around 60 euros. I would visit the restaurant again.

A somewhat outdated restaurant, but very clean and charming. The staff was very accommodating. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the loud music in the background. The food was good. It wasn't the last time we were there.

Been there several times now. Super friendly waiters, food very tasty and the meat perfect. Be it steak, entrecote or the skewers, everything was tender and great. We also really enjoyed the rice. Portions are really plentiful. The only one star less for the ambience is because you have to grab one of the seat cushions because you sink in badly on some of the upholstered chairs.

A total of four people ate there, 2 adults + 2 children, the calamari with fries was okay, the paprika schnitzel comes with frozen peas and carrots, the vegetarian dish is not vegetarian, the rump steak is not asked about the doneness, original sound Waitress, it is always fried medium, portions are quite clear considering the pricing, in my opinion the tzatziki is bought ready-made in a plastic bowl, I expect it to be different in a restaurant like this. Attention - if you ask for ketchup you will be given a bowl of approx. 15-20 ml which will then appear on the receipt with 1 €, the extra charge is not mentioned. Overall, the ambience is rather old-fashioned, even the glittery doilies don't come off anymore, the tablecloth is dirty, tables are visibly stabilized with beer mats, unfortunately for us it was the first and last time, Bad Harzburg offers a lot more for tourists, even in the immediate vicinity.

We had specially booked a table for Saturday!! Afterwards we waited 25 minutes for two drinks. We ordered a starter and two main courses! After an hour of asking a waitress who arrived later, the waiter hadn't bonked the dishes, so we didn't get any food! The restaurant was equipped with windows sealed with gray duct tape, It still drafted and the curtains were pretty dirty. The waitress who arrived said that our waiter had forgotten to place the order We left hungry. Both drinks were on the house. Never again the Adriatic!

Nachdem wir leider einige schlechte Rezensionen über das ADRIA auf einigen Portalen gelesen hatten, waren wir sehr gespannt, wie unsere Erfahrungen werden würden. Diese waren durchweg positiv und ich kann das Restaurant auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Es gibt dort gutes mediterranes Essen, mit ausreichender Auswahl. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Wurden noch sehr spät bedient, obwohl Küche fast geschlossen war, saftiges Steak, gute Getränkewahl und ein freundlicher Service, in allem ziemlich gut. Ambiente sehr gemütlich.

Essen sehr lecker und saftig, nicht zu trocken wie man es öfters kennt. Service freundlich, nicht auf zack, wahrscheinlich Momentaufnahme. Ambiente ist schon in die Jahre gekommen, Flecken überall an den Tapeten zu sehen, defekte Lampen, Sitzgelegenheiten total durch gesessen, könnte mal renoviert werden.

das Essen war zwar gut, aber das Restaurant müsst mal renoviert werden, z.B. sind Fenster mit Klebeband abgedichtet und auch sonst fast wie in den 70er Jahren, nur die Stühle hat man wohl mal ausgetauscht.

In der Woche war es hier ein ruhiger, gemütlicher Abend. Das Fleisch war geschmacklich sehr lecker, der Reis hätte jedoch etwas würziger sein können und nicht ganz so durchgekocht. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Wir waren im Urlaub hier essen. Das Ambiente war schön, die Kellnerin freundlich. Vom Essen haben wir uns mehr erwartet. Die Portionen waren sehr übersichtlich, so dass wir beide nicht richtig satt waren. Das Fleisch (Gyros) war sehr trocken. Beim Schnitzel war Fertig Gemüse dabei, was so gar nicht dazu gepasst hat.

Wir haben Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Hätten gern angerufen, aber keine veröffentlichte Rufnummer funktionierte. Okay, also vor Ort. Bedienung war freundlich und sagte uns, ca. 30-40 min.dauert das Essen. Das Essen dauerte eine Stunde, also warteten wir im Restaurant glatt 30 min., ohne dass uns vielleicht ein Wasser angeboten wurde, während wir stets im Weg rumstanden. Die Fleischgerichte waren okay, Fleisch war gut. Aber bitte was sind Spaghetti Carbonara, wenn auf der Karte mit Ei und Parmesan steht und dann aber eine Milchsoße drüber geschüttet wird, welche komplett ungewürzt war? Ich wunderte mich bereits, weshalb die Gäste im Restaurant kein oder sehr wenig Trinkgeld gaben. Das wussten wir dann anschließend. Während wir warteten konnte ich die Bedienung beobachten und für mich stand fest, hier werde ich im Restaurant NICHT essen. Es werden Getränke ausgegeben, Essen zum Gast gebracht, Geschirr irgendwann abgeräumt und mit diesen Händen die Tische neu eingedeckt. Das Besteck wird oben, welches der Gast in den Mund nimmt, angefasst. Tische, welche bekleckert waren, wurden nicht neu mit Decken eingedeckt, sondern die Servietten auch mit diesen Händen einfach drauf gestellt. Ich weiß, wie oft Servietten angefasst werden, aber hier wurden sie von Tisch zu Tisch umgeräumt. Zwischendurch war ich drauf und dran, meinen Ausbilderschein hervor zu holen und eine Ausbildung zu unterbreiten 🤣🤐 Und ganz ehrlich, es waren keine Massen in dem kleinen Restaurant. Neuen Gästen wurde gesagt, man kann sich setzen, Essen dauert aber mindestens eine Stunde. Okay, vielleicht hat Corona auch hier zum Fachkräftemangel geführt.

Super Service und sehr gutes Essen, es könnten aber mal ein wenig Staub gewischt werden. Aber im großen und ganzen bin ich vollkommen zufrieden.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Am besten man reserviert vorher. Das Ambiente ist eher rustikal. Wir hatten das Pech, dass die Heizung an dem Abend ausfiel. Die KellnerInnen haben sich aber große Mühe gegeben alles so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.

Leider war es im Lokal ziemlich kalt. Der Service war sehr freundlich und das Essen hat geschmeckt. Positiv: Hunde dürfen mit rein.

Die Bedienung war vorbildlich, das Essen allerdings nur durchschnittlich. Schade.

Gut, dass wir uns nicht immer von Bewertungen leiten lassen. Das von uns gewählte kroatische Essen war bekömmlich und frisch, die Portionen ausreichend. Die Preise waren akzeptabel.

Wir haben überbackenes Gyros und den Balkanteller zum mitnehmen abgeholt. Abgesehen das ich vom Preis irritiert war (42€) im Internet finden sich viel günstigere Preise, müsste mal aktualisiert werden. Auf dem Balkanteller befand sich ein sehr streng riechende Stück Leber, was an den Seitenrändern komplett grüne Farbe hatte. Wir sind der Meinung es war verdorben. Und musste leider im Müll landen. Der Rest ok, aber Preis/Leistung absolut in keinem Verhältnis zueinander

Op maandag een van de weinige restaurants open. Het was er redelijk druk, maar zware onderbezetting qua onervaren personeel. Na 30min wachten zelf maar na de bar gelopen om de menukaart te vragen. Terwijl ik 5min later bestelde hadden de tafels om mij heen allemaal verkeerde afrekeningen ontvangen. Toen ik had besteld werd het rustiger en het eten kwam nog relatief snel. Het smaakt opzich goed, maar een veel te klein portie voor 19 euro. Klein stukje vlees, 4 aardappelkroketjes en een beetje groente op de rand. Nee, dit was niet al te best

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, Essen schmeckt super, Ambiente auch ganz schön. Die Preise sind teilweise etwas höher, aber dafür bekommt man ein gut gefüllten Teller. Vegetarische Gerichte sind eher begrenzt. Bei uns hat das Zahlen mit Karte funktioniert.

Spontan dort gewesen, waren positiv überrascht. Schöne Inneneinrichtung und das Essen war wirklich lecker und reichlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. So, wir waren heute wieder hier und ich muss sagen, dass ich nichts auszusetzen habe. Die Portionen sind wirklich genug, wer der Meinung ist, dass wäre zu wenig, der sollte mal über sein Essverhalten nachdenken! Die Bedienung außerordentlich höflich und nett, also keine Beanstandung meinerseits. Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen, dass das Essen zu wenig sei und zu teuer, denn wenn wir mal ehrlich sind, es ist überall angezogen worden. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder;)

Wir waren heute dort essen. Absolut zufrieden. Service war sehr nett und freundlich. Das Essen war spitze und ausreichend. Preis Leistungsverhältnis war in Ordung. Kommen gerne wieder.

Das Restaurant war gestern eines der wenigen, was auf hatte. Wir waren zu zweit dort und der Laden war recht voll. Dadurch hat der super freundliche Service etwas gebraucht. Wir hatten beide Gyros überbacken. Geschmack war voll ok. Dennoch war der Reis lauwarm, der zaziki und die rote Soße sehr wahrscheinlich nicht selbst gemacht und die Portionen ziemlich übersichtlich. Sind beide nicht krass satt geworden, was ich für 18,90€ doch erwartet hätte. Bei meinem Stamm Griechen zahle ich weniger für mind. 300% Leistung. Zur Not komm ich nochmal wieder, aber vermutlich war es eine one show..

Ich muss sagen, für die Preisklasse war ich vom Restaurant enttäuscht. Wir waren heute dort mit 4 Personen. Die Tomatensuppe, die ich als Vorspeise genommen habe, war die schlechteste, die ich je gegessen habe. Darüber hinaus sah sie aus wie heißes Wasser mit Tomatenmark reingerührt. Bei einem Preis von 6,90 ein No-Go. Als Hauptgang habe ich den Sauerbraten bestellt und den Braten, den ich bekommen habe, war zwar okay, nur war es kein Sauerbraten. Meine Begleitung hatte eine Ofenkartoffel bestellt, die kalt ankam. Nachdem sie diese reklamierte, wurde diese augenrollend ausgetauscht. Auch ein geforderter Löffel wurde erst nach dreimaliger Erinnerung gebracht. Das Personal wirkte dauergenervt und gehetzt, die Portionen sind verhältnismäßig klein und es sind viele Patzer passiert. Bei der Preisklasse darf man mehr erwarten.

Das Personal war super nett, aber wirkte gestresst und überfordert. Vermutlich fehlen Leute. Es tat mir total Leid und alle warn wirklich super freundlich und haben ihr bestes gegeben. Das Essen war leider sehr Basic und viel „Fertigessen“, dafür nicht gerade günstig.

Normale Balkanküche wie überall. Unmengen an Pommes braucht kein Mensch.

Die Servicekraft war sehr freundlich und wir wurden schnell bedient. Das Brot musste man essen bevor es abgekühlt war, denn dann war es super hart und trocken. Leider waren die Cevapcici auch sehr sehr trocken.

Super freundliche, zuvorkommende und herzliche Bedienung, leckeres Essen, Preis - Leistung stimmt. Mein Rumpsteak wurde in einer heißen, gußeisernen Pfanne serviert und brodelt noch. Einfach nur geil. Komme gerne wieder.
