The restaurant had a very well-known name, "Alberts Corner", and the concept was very successful. The new operator of the restaurant has now closed the shop!

Had a table reserved for today! Unfortunately the owner forgot that he was closing the restaurant... Very unpleasant action!

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was good too. Unfortunately, the restaurant has constantly changing employees and a few don't actually fit into the atmosphere due to their mentality.

Service OK, food catastrophe. Schnitzel from the deep fryer, hollandaise from the bag, baguette half baked, lowest level of chip shops, if at all

We got a table without a reservation, which made us very happy because we were extremely hungry after hiking. Unfortunately we had to wait an hour for the starter (soup), and after the starter another 30 minutes for the main course, which was anything but worth the price. Some of the fried potatoes tasted like potatoes warmed up in the microwave the day before, and soaked in fat😥 The schnitzel like a frozen product. I can not describe it. .I don't know what it was. The mushroom cream sauce with it was "ok". The restaurant wasn't full and there were only a few guests outside. The cook was probably alone in the kitchen. I can't imagine it's always served like that there. Or it was a bad day...can happen. But the service was super nice and good. That's why 4 stars. And we really enjoyed the soup despite the waiting time😊 And without criticism you can't improve anything, right?🤗 Many kind regards from Südheide 🫶

Been there for the 5th time, the schnitzels were always very tasty and without any crunch in them. Large portions, white wine always very well chilled. Service friendly, fast and professional.

We chose a schnitzel dish with a big name, but unfortunately the food was a big disappointment. The schnitzels were very tender, but without any taste. The sauce was just brown water. Unfortunately, the chef doesn't know his craft. After we were served our food, we didn't see any more service. I then paid at the counter and left. Too bad...

Nice rustic half-timbered house atmosphere. We got a table for two without prior reservation. The service was very friendly and attentive. Drinks and our food were served quickly. Special requests were made possible and overall the dishes tasted very good.

We only went to the Little Prince Restaurant for a drink. We ate this outside. The beer selection is good and the location of the restaurant is very good. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food. Our order was taken quickly and the beer was brought to us relatively quickly. Unfortunately there was no longer any service, so we would definitely have ordered another round. Nobody came to our table anymore, so I went in to pay. But the service was very friendly. Paid parking spaces are available on the opposite side of the main road. The location is really very good at the upper part of the pedestrian zone in Bad Harzburg. Here we will have a fresh cold beer again.

Had a delicious meal here twice last week. I think it is advantageous that you can also have all the schnitzels prepared from chicken. The atmosphere is cozy and cozy and the service is very friendly.

It's a shame, to be honest, the ambience was great outside and inside, unfortunately the food wasn't that nice, there were 5 of us there asparagus with schnitzel, yes the price wasn't justified, asparagus half raw, potatoes and asparagus cold, the only meat was great, brawn didn't taste like anything, no spices I wouldn't have expected any more acid, the price was 113 euros, yes I would have agreed if everything had been right, so unfortunately only one star for the food, the rest is fine 👍

We weren't sent away without making a reservation. That was very sweet. However, the food really wasn't worth the money. Some of the asparagus was still really raw... and cold... I have to say that both guys were very nice and polite. Nevertheless, it was the last time we were there, which is a shame.

Service was okay, considering that it was done alone. Missing food components were delivered promptly upon request. Unfortunately, the menu already suggested that it wouldn't be an experience. This was by no means in a uniform style and was expanded with stuck-on pieces of paper. Nobody bothers to make anything new here. The food only gets two stars because it didn't come out straight away and the quantity was filling. In terms of taste, it was more of a horror than a pleasure. Salad was dried out. Fried potatoes massively over-seasoned. The remaining ingredients tasted like cheap ready-made products from a bag/can. The arrangement looked careless. The children's fries and nuggets were only served with ketchup upon later request. Unfortunately, the prices quoted are excessive, even taking increased costs into account. The ambience has a certain charm but is partly getting old.

I was in Bad Harzburg with my wife for my birthday. the atmosphere was inviting. Nice outdoor area in the middle of the city. During asparagus season we decided to eat asparagus here too. My wife ordered asparagus without hollandaise sauce because when she asked, she was told that it was not homemade and contained milk. (my wife is allergic) I thought this honesty was great. I had the asparagus with hollandaise and schnitzel. The service was nice and good. The drinks were picked up and brought quickly. That was good. There was nothing to complain about at all Unfortunately the food wasn't that good. The potatoes were hard/dry despite butter and there was no salt. The cooking point of the asparagus was great for me. Still a slight bite... Unfortunately the taste was too bitter (asparagus water was probably not well seasoned) But ok, you can live with that. Unfortunately the schnitzel was baked completely dead. Too dark, too hard. Which was a shame because you can see that the idea behind it was a good schnitzel. But that was just dead. I don't need to explain the hollandaise sauce. Honestly communicated that it is not self-made. So ok. I also shared the criticism with the team. Great reaction. We took it with us and immediately passed it on to the kitchen. All in all. Great ambience, great team - We weren't so lucky with the food this time - But we'll try it again. Our dishes tasted very good and there is nothing to complain about the service. The next time we're in the Harz again, we'll have a delicious meal here again.

I ordered the schnitzel with cream mushrooms for 17.50. For the price you would expect a good meal. However, the schnitzel was out of the deep fryer and the fat needs to be changed. The sauce tasted like a cheap ready-made sauce. I won't go here again

If we go in early in the evening, since we have a dog we always ask if we can come in with a dog. The waitress looked around and thought about it, there were only two tables occupied downstairs. We then said we would sit in the corner with the dog. After a while the waitress asked what we wanted to drink "hot chocolate with Amaretto" unfortunately no hot chocolate and Amaretto doesn't have it. Ok, let's check again, then every second dish on the menu wasn't there and we couldn't find anything warm to drink either. We're now walking past the Little Prince. 2nd chance: Waited 6 minutes for service and stood at the next table smoking her cigarette and drinking her coffee. No eye contact with us. Ok then let's go again. Unfortunately, the sausage stand couldn't convince us. How old was my sausage please? I tore it off twice and then threw it into the nearest trash can. That was the 2nd chance...then you live off the tourists if there are any there. We really won't be coming back.......

We had a delicious meal outside under a parasol on May 1, 2024. The service was very nice. The food tasted super delicious. There was nothing to complain about. Only the way to the toilet is not suitable for disabled people. Price, performance is also very good.

Matjes with fried potatoes was okay, unfortunately the salad was floating on the plate. Rösti with Camembert, Rösti good, Camembert unfortunately very sparse. Here too the salad was floating on the plate.

Service,? Eat? Rarely have we seen something like this in the catering industry. I kindly pointed out that cleaning products didn't belong on the counter, and they were then removed. The big thing, instead of serving, Roberto fetched ice cream and took the order with the ice cream cone in his hand... NO GO😡

The rustic ambience is already appealing; Although the food does not offer any culinary highlights, it is solid and generous in size (the schnitzel variations are recommended). In contrast to other guests, we didn't have to wait long. Friendly service (boss?), whose somewhat rustic style fits in well with the ambience. All in all - we were satisfied!

Restaurant in the pedestrian zone of Bad Harzburg very close to the spa park. The menu offers classic German cuisine and an impressive schnitzel loarade, which can be put together using a modular system in pork and chicken versions. There is the classic form as a Viennese schnitzel, but also hearty recipes with cheese, bacon and hollandaise sauce. What's very quaint is that the dishes all have allusions to the name of the restaurant. The staff is friendly and rustic and the prices are impressive. A glass of wine with the meal is recommended. We were warmly welcomed and allowed to choose a table. We were there in the afternoon, so we were served quickly and friendly. Everything doesn't seem so professional and so does the food. It wasn't tasty and was very poorly prepared. We had schnitzel with cream mushrooms and the Rösti with Camembert. Edible, but not recommended

We went there for the evening without a reservation and were very kindly seated. Very friendly service and quite good food. The ambience is harmonious so far. My wife had the vegetarian Sch(l)upfnoodle casserole and, upon request, I chose a schnitzel with cheese tartare with cream sauce. After serving, this turned out to be a kind of "tomato-pepper" sauce, which I probably wouldn't have chosen, but it didn't taste bad. The casserole was very good.

The staff was nice and motivated. The ambience is rustic, clean and functional. We had a large salad with strips of schnitzel and a schnitzel with braised onions. Everything tastes good with fresh ingredients. The salad is 15% more lush and with the schnitzel a small salad garnish and you could also get the last star. All in all recommended.

We were absolutely fascinated by this restaurant during our short vacation. The building is very interesting. A half-timbered house in which all areas between the beams are made of glass panes. Inside it is charmingly rustic, the tables were decorated appropriately for Easter and the waitresses are relaxed and always nice and friendly. The drinks and food arrived reasonably quickly. The schnitzels are absolutely delicious, no matter what version. My recommendation, the "Niklas" schnitzel ;) If we're in the Harz again, we'd love to come back for dinner!

Food OK Service completely overwhelmed

Currywurst was very greasy and the fries weren't seasoned enough. The sauce for the other dish was also weird. But the waiters were very nice, a clean place.

The service staff tried hard, but they weren't experts, they didn't have the ability to think. The memory card is thinned out, the offering is clear. Tastes like a slightly better snack.

After we had a negative experience at another restaurant, we returned here. The staff were very nice, and the food, currywurst with fries and salad, was good and tasted good. We will eat here again on our next visit to Bad Harzburg. Thanks

No stars to rate. Goulash soup without meat and old bread, guaranteed with canned dried herbs. Not recommendable.

30 years ago this restaurant was one where people enjoyed going. Four of us were there today, the food was below average. The ambience - like 30 years ago. But the worst thing is that the order was taken incorrectly, the starter soup was brought along with the main course (at some point), one person at the table didn't get any food at all - Kassler was ordered and the waiter wanted to bring schnitzel, like so many things in this order went wrong. After a clear announcement to the waiters - the "boss" was supposedly not there - we received the bill early, which was also wrong. The same drama at the neighboring tables. In short - maybe again in 30 years...

The schnitzels are beaten, breaded and fried in-house, as it should be! Highly recommended including service. Keep it up!

We ate here for the third time today. The waitress was friendly, a polite young man who brought food and drinks quickly. The food "Large Rösti with Camembert and cranberries on a large salad bouquet" and "Pork schnitzel with braised onions, mushrooms and croquettes" were very tasty, praise to the kitchen! We'd love to come back.

Visit in May 2023. Anyone who thinks they want to experience adventure gastronomy will find a true masterpiece of curious correlations in this place. In classic gastronomy, so-called service times are, as is well known, only a freely interpreted guideline. This is fine and is influenced by factors such as the number of guests, time of day and functioning equipment; but also on the talent and training of the service personnel. However, the latter does not seem to be relevant in this restaurant business in any way. Having to wait 25 minutes for your ordered drinks when guests are at half capacity gives you a small foretaste of what to expect. Because: If you let yourself be inspired by the numerous five-star reviews and work up an appetite from the fantastic food pictures in them, you will have to wait an unrewarding waiting time of around one hundred and five minutes until the food is on the table in front of you. Anyone who believes that the worst is over and that everything is now turning out for the better will discover when tasting the dish that it is a variant of the dish described in the menu, freely interpreted by the chef. In concrete terms, this means: If you order potatoes, you get croquettes. If you order Wiener Schnitzel with mushrooms and fried onions, you will get that too. Just without mushrooms and fried onions. Fries that have never had the seasoning acquaintance of salt and schnitzel meat carelessly arranged on the plate with a visible layer of pepper on top, which in turn probably lost its shelf life years ago, cause a taste trauma that even the admittedly freshly tapped beer cannot solve . Speaking of beer: That was fine, the alleged chef had no hand in it. What was fascinating about all of this was that the service staff didn't allow themselves to be disturbed by the clearly critical guests at the neighboring tables. And what my companion and I heard was really bad. That was a relief for the four of us, as we believed that because of the service we had suffered, we were on some black list of guests to be punished. So others that evening experienced the same thing - and worse. Conclusion: Anyone who likes to subject themselves to culinary suffering, declare war on their taste buds, and give away hours of their own life in a loveless, banal atmosphere should go to this establishment with fresh courage. Being a guest on the upper floor means being able to watch how the (despite being friendly) service staff often climb the stairs aimlessly and haphazardly, carry a small bowl of fries up, serve at the wrong table, go down, come back up again, this time without a burden - just to look, then go back downstairs, come up to take the order - after being told to look at the menu beforehand - go downstairs again because: the menus are downstairs... oh, it goes on and on. There is something both touching and pitiful about the whole thing. My companions and I certainly had fun. The guests at the neighboring tables... not.

Unfortunately I can't say anything. Opening time (according to Google) until 10 p.m. However, at 8:05 p.m. there was no more food. They wanted to ask by phone beforehand, but no one answered. 🥺

I would have liked to have a goulash soup but unfortunately it was out. I then decided on potato soup with bacon slices but when the soup was brought to me I was told that the bacon was also out. Bread which I had ordered with the soup because it was None of the food was very dry and bland. The currywurst was limp and the fries were limp. The staff was friendly even though we had to wait almost an hour for our food. But it was clean and the atmosphere was cozy

After we had to wait 50 minutes for our drinks, which were wrong, the right ones arrived after 60 minutes. 30 minutes later the food came. It was edible. We had booked the table for 7 p.m. We were able to sit down 20 minutes later. It wasn't all pretty. Conclusion, never again.

Nice restaurant in Bad Harzburg. When we are on vacation in Bad Harzburg, we always like to come by. Beautiful, hearty German cuisine.

The two of us ate there, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. First we had to wait 20 minutes for the menu, then another almost 1.5 hours for the food. The boiled potatoes were so stale that they already had a hard, dry crust. Fried potatoes were rather too soft. The meat was OK. Overall, however, the performance was not convincing.

Today we (Ralf Carmen and Gü) were out and about again with the voucher book Goslarharz. Our choice fell on the little prince in Bad Harzburg. There were four of us there and everyone enjoyed it. The portions were huge. There were 2x schnitzel with braised onions and mushrooms, 1x Viennese style and once a queen's feast (filled chicken roll with cream cheese and a light tomato sauce + salad). As a side dish we had fried potatoes, croquettes and hash browns. We can only recommend all of the dishes and would be happy to come back. Hopefully there will be more of the good Dornfelder 🤣😅 Our Goslar Harz voucher book was accepted without any problems. Thank you for the lovely evening The Little Prince. Had to wait 90 minutes for the food, which ended up being frozen food (chicken schnitzel). The service was a complete disaster with guests bringing food without cutlery (several times).

Very tasty goulash soup, lots of ingredients! Unfortunately, bad cappuccino. Ambience good, but toilets catastrophic.

The food is still cheap in comparison, unfortunately it lacks a little seasoning and is too dry for my taste because there is not enough sauce. But OK for the price. Not more but also not less.

We were there last Saturday. A very nice restaurant. The house has obviously experienced a lot since it was built. It's definitely a lot of effort to keep it in good shape. 🔝 The service was very friendly and the food came very quickly. The selection of dishes is manageable and completely sufficient. I had dinner there with my girlfriend the day before New Year's Eve. The young waiter rocked the whole place by himself with a calmness and friendliness, amazing. Food was super tasty. However, a woman's hand is missing there. And the cleanliness in many corners, including the toilets, left a lot to be desired. Cobwebs everywhere. But that’s complaining at a somewhat high level 😉

Woher die wenigen Sterne kommen, kann ich nicht sagen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Schöne, uriges Ambiente, netter und schneller Service (ok...es war auch nicht viel los..;). Essen war lecker und Preis-Leistung perfekt. Wir kommen wieder !!

Essen war sehr gut, jedoch war die männliche Bedienung nicht am guten Service interessiert. Seine Kollegin hat es sehr nett ausgebügelt.

Wir waren spontan hier und haben einen Platz im Obergeschoss bekommen. Die Getränke kamen schnell, jedoch waren die Gläser nicht ganz sauber. Leider war nur ein Bruchteil der Weine von der Weinkarte erhältlich, sodass ich darauf verzichtete. Das Essen kam relativ schnell und war in Ordnung, die Portionen ausreichend. Leider kam danach kein Personal mehr an unseren Tisch oder hatte diesen im Blick. Wir sind nach einiger Zeit an den Tresen gegangen, um zu zahlen. Das Ambiente ist ganz nett (Fachwerk), die Spiegel könnten mal wieder geputzt werden 😉.

Sehr nett und freundlich, geben viel Mühe, das Essen muss noch etwas fein schlief bekommen. Von der mänge her, sehr viel Klasse.

Ein schönes Restaurant mit leckerem Essen und netter Bedienung. Das Essen war aus frischen Zutaten zubereitet. Mir hat die Gulasch Suppe besonders gut gefallen. Die Portionen für den angenehmen Preis sind groß und die Speisekarte fantasievoll ausgedacht.

Das Essen hier ist in Ordnung allerdings nicht das beste, wenn man dies in relation mit dem Preis sieht. Die Schnitzel sind zwar herausragend aber das haut eine gute Bewertung trotzdem nicht raus. Der Service hat auch zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Aber das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Daher im großen und ganzen 2 Sterne. Daraufhin kann ich nur sagen, dass der kleine Prinz nicht empfehlenswert ist.

Schönes Restaurant im Fachwerkhaus, in der Fussgängerzone von Bad Harzburg. Das Essen war ganz ok, es hätte etwas mehr Gewürz vertragen können. Es wird einfache Hausmannskost serviert.

Relativ preiswertes und einfaches Essen was schmeckt . Mann darf aber nicht zu viel verlangen.

Das Restaurant liegt in der Fußgängerzone in Bad Harzburg. Es befindet sich in einem alten Fachwerkhaus. Das Ambiente ist ansprechend, die Deko liebevoll... Zum Essen: Wir hatten Kasseler und Wiener Schnitzel. Beide Essen sind von der Menge her absolut ausreichend dimensioniert. Das Schnitzel war zart, die Panade würzig und kross. Super! Der Kasseler war zart und lecker. Eine Kleinigkeit zu meckern gäbe es beim Salzgehalt. Wer eine salzige Speise (Kasseler) mit einer leicht salzigen Sauce serviert, kann auch schnell vom Geschmack her verliebt rüberkommen. Hier war es zum Glück nicht zu viel, aber schon dicht dran! Mein Rat: weniger ist manchmal mehr!! Die Zeit zwischen bestellen und servieren war so kurz, wie schon lange nicht mehr! Bravo. Kürzer darf es auch nicht sein... Beim Abräumen darf es meines Erachtens gerne etwas schneller gehen. Mein Fazit: Ihr seid voll und ganz weiterzuempfehlen!

Ein aussergewöhnliches Ambiente; sehr nettes Personal - selbst bei Überforderung (zu viele Plätze, innen, außen, oben und unten); wechselnde Köche = wechselndes Ergebnis (bislang keine wirkliche Enttäuschung); es gibt Luft nach oben - wir werden gerne weiter testen ☺️

Wir wurden nett begrüßt und uns wurde auch angeboten, dass wir uns nach oben setzen dürfen. Dort fanden wir auch direkt einen Kinderstuhl. Das Fachwerk mit Verglasung sieht toll aus und auch ein Besuch der Toiletten lohnt sich, da diese im Keller sind, dessen Wände altes Gemäuer sind. Nach mehr als 20 Minuten Wartezeit ohne Karte sind wir allerdings gegangen, da es mit Kleinkind nicht möglich gewesen wäre, dort zu essen, wenn sich die Wartezeiten weiter so gezogen hätten.

Service komplett unterbesetzt, Wartezeit bei Bestellung und Bedienung sehr lange, mehrere Gäste im Außenbereich verließen auf Grund des ignorierenden Service - Tische wurden nicht abgeräumt und Bestellung nicht aufgenommen, man "solle Geduld haben ...." - das Restaurant. Die Bezahlung haben viele Gäste mangels Bedienung am Tisch schließlich am Tresen erledigt. Essen insgesamt okay, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis aber auf Grund der o.g. Erfahrung leider keine Empfehlung.
