Bistro & Café Jolie - Bistro im Harz in Bad Harzburg

Yesterday, we walked for 45 minutes to get here because we really wanted to eat a doner kebab – and it was more than worth it. The atmosphere was quiet, stylish, and pleasant, and every table was occupied (reservations are also possible). The doner kebab and the doner plate were simply delicious: everything was fresh, piping hot, and the portions were more than generous. Honestly, I haven't had such a good doner kebab in a long time. A special shout-out goes to the staff, especially Asad – the nicest waiter we've ever had. He was incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive. He alone is reason enough to come back. So please: leave a generous tip for Asad! Cash and card payments are accepted, which is always convenient. Our conclusion is clear: we'll definitely eat here again on our next day trip to Bad Harzburg. Highly recommended! 🌯👏

Highly recommended! 🩵 We ate there with a large group and had pasta, various doner kebabs, and pizza. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious! The service was very unfriendly, there were beetles in the salad, the glasses and plates weren't clean, the owner insulted me and my friends, calling me a whore, and the ayran was three days past its expiration date. An acquaintance of mine was there and got food poisoning after just one day.

The food was fantastic; the gentleman with the bushy beard at the cash register had cooked a delicious meal. Thank you so much, it was absolutely worth the money.

The doner meat was unfortunately quite limp and tasteless, but the salad and fries were very good. €12.50 is still a bit steep for that. The first employee was a bit lackluster, but the manager, who took over later, was in a better mood. A small snack bar and a separate smoking area are also fine.

My wife and I went out to eat and wanted to try a kebab. We also ordered potatoes – they were really crispy, just the way I like them. We really enjoyed it; the food was delicious. There was a young waiter there, a really great guy – he was the best waiter! We also liked his perfume – ⭐"Tom Ford Lost Cherry"⭐ We were coming from out of town and just wanted to try it, and we really, really liked it. We will definitely come back. We always get our doner kebabs and fries here and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case today: The doner kebabs were served in a baguette roll that was too dark and dry. They weren't easy to eat either (perhaps it's a matter of practice). Unfortunately, the fries were much too dark and very greasy. We won't be eating here again for a while, and based on our experience today, we wouldn't recommend the food. Too bad, otherwise it's always great...

After the sauna we settled down here. You are very relaxed here and nicely decorated. Not German. Were very warmly welcomed and helped. The menu is gigantic from schnitzel to pasta and from Doner to gyros. Both had a delicious meal. Mixed grill was perfect and we could choose from white rice, bulgur and fries. Of course we both went for the bulgur with our food. If you are in the area, go eat here. Really super good and very friendly welcome.

The small restaurant is well-kept and has a separate to-go entrance next door. This means it's not as hectic as other kebab shops in the city. Really a recommendation.
