Bistro & Café Jolie - Bistro im Harz in Bad Harzburg

We were on holiday in this town and got some delicious doner kebabs from this bistro. The owner is very friendly and works behind the counter himself. The food is simply excellent. We'll definitely be back.

There was nothing to complain about here… everything tasted delicious… friendly staff 👍👍 we'll gladly come again…

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner today. The service was super friendly, and our special requests were immediately accommodated. The food arrived pretty quickly, and we haven't had such a good kebab plate or kebab in a long time. We'll be back on our next vacation 🤗

I was absolutely thrilled with my visit to Bistro-Café Jolie! The food was outstanding, freshly prepared, presented with great attention to detail, and simply delicious. The service was also fantastic: friendly, attentive, yet unobtrusive. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening with friends or a lovely dinner for two. The doner meat was unfortunately quite limp and tasteless, but the salad and fries were very good. €12.50 is still a bit steep for that. The first employee was a bit lackluster, but the manager, who took over later, was in a better mood. A small snack bar and a separate smoking area are also fine.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness, service, and delicious food. They offer a variety of dishes, from pizzas to gyros, baguettes, burgers, and more, with something for everyone. We had a large chicken doner kebab with fries and the Harz gyro, which was a generous portion and delicious. Highly recommended; we'd love to come back 😃

My wife and I went out to eat and wanted to try a kebab. We also ordered potatoes – they were really crispy, just the way I like them. We really enjoyed it; the food was delicious. There was a young waiter there, a really great guy – he was the best waiter! We also liked his perfume – ⭐"Tom Ford Lost Cherry"⭐ We were coming from out of town and just wanted to try it, and we really, really liked it. We will definitely come back. The atmosphere was also really nice; they even have a smoking area, which I really liked. We will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hunger brought us here. Our first impression was good, but the sheer amount of food on the menu left me with doubts about whether it would be good. From the outside, it looked promising. But it's a "kebab shop" with adjacent seating, not what you'd expect from an Italian restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious.

We always get our doner kebabs and fries here and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case today: The doner kebabs were served in a baguette roll that was too dark and dry. They weren't easy to eat either (perhaps it's a matter of practice). Unfortunately, the fries were much too dark and very greasy. We won't be eating here again for a while, and based on our experience today, we wouldn't recommend the food. Too bad, otherwise it's always great...

After the sauna we settled down here. You are very relaxed here and nicely decorated. Not German. Were very warmly welcomed and helped. The menu is gigantic from schnitzel to pasta and from Doner to gyros. Both had a delicious meal. Mixed grill was perfect and we could choose from white rice, bulgur and fries. Of course we both went for the bulgur with our food. If you are in the area, go eat here. Really super good and very friendly welcome.

Doner kebab in delicious, thin and crispy bread, tasty fries and spinach börek were on our menu. We were totally satisfied and full after our visit to Jolie. The small restaurant is well-kept and has a separate to-go entrance next door. This means it's not as hectic as other kebab shops in the city. Really a recommendation. You get something for your money.

After a long hike we were looking for a place to stop in Bad Harzburg. After we were turned away in three restaurants (which is understandable given that there were no reservations and 12 people), we stopped in here. From the first second we were welcomed and served very nicely. Drinks and food are fairly priced and the atmosphere was also very pleasant. There was nothing to complain about in terms of taste and the portions weren't too small either. We would definitely come again!

We ordered a kebab dish with salad and fries. Now no complaints about the salad and fries. But the kebab wow exactly as Sebastian Lege explains it. Minced meat with lots of breadcrumbs. What you get on your plate is the crust of meatballs. Eat kebab often enough to tell the difference
