Restaurant URSPRUNG in Bad Harzburg

Es ist sehr kalt hier. Ständig zieht es, wenn die Tür aufgeht. Man sitzt wie auf einem Bahnhof. Der Burger ist ohne Beilagen. Beilagen gegen Aufpreis. Habe für das Geld 💰 schon bessere gegessen. Man hört die Küche. Der Tisch war nicht mal abgewischt. Alte Gläserabdrücke. Mayonnaise für 1,50 € gibt es nur in der abgepackten Tüte, wie bei MC Donalds. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Trotz Reservierung, an die wir sogar von Restaurantseite mehrfach erinnert wurden. War vor Ort geschlossen.

Eine wunderschöne (Silvester) Feier mit wirklich ausgezeichnetem Essen und fantastischen Entertainment. Top Live-Acts, DJ und vielen weiteren schönen Details. Hervorzuheben der sehr freundliche, rundum zufriedenstellende Service. Super Party - vielen Dank!

Gut geführtes Restaurant Schöne Location Sehr freundlicher Service Gute Küche mit vegetarisch/veganem Angebot. Hamburger, Currywurst und Schnitzel sind auch im Angebot. Die sehr interessanten gegrillten Fleisch -Gerichte(Rib Eye Steak, ...) gibt es ab 18:00. Mittags ist die Karte daher etwas reduziert aber noch immer gut. Leider gibt keinen glutenfreien Nachtisch mehr. Jederzeit wieder.

Dieses Restaurant in der wunderschönen Stadt Bad Harzburg hat nie geöffnet. Wir sind immer dorthin gegangen, wenn laut Internet geöffnet ist, aber wir wurden nun schon mehrfach enttäuscht. Wir waren auch häufig nicht allein, es kamen entweder enttäuschte Besucher uns entgegen oder wir trafen direkt vor der verschlossenen Tür auf enttäuschte Besucher. Es war auch nie vor Ort ein Schild zu finden, dem die Öffnungszeiten zu entnehmen waren oder ein Hinweis, weswegen geschlossen war. So kann man nicht mit Gästen umgehen. Den einen Stern haben wir nur vergeben, weil ohne Stern nicht gepostet werden konnte.

Sehr lecker und schön gestaltet

Bin mit einer großen Erwartung zum Essen gefahren... Das Ambiente und der Gastraum war sehr angenehm, schade, dass der Kamin nicht an war :/ Jedoch war das Essen alles andere...ich war enttäuscht. Spareribs waren nicht gegrillt, wie erwartet, zudem schmeckte die BBQ-Sauce wie gekauft. Mein Partner hatte das Lachssteak, welches übergart war, die Kartoffeln nicht gewürzt und die Hollandaise-Sauce schmeckte wie ein Instantprodukt. Zudem schmeckte der Burgerkäse, wie Gummi (der Sandwichkäse aus der Packung, aus dem Supermarkt, wäre leckerer gewesen.) Aber positiv herausheben, kann man die Kokos-Limetten Suppe.

Pro: Sehr nettes Personal, Essen, Ambiente Con: Steak war beim servieren recht kalt, keine Wein in der Karte obwohl es diesen gibt, Am Samstag Abend 20:30 keine Nachspeise mehr verfügbar, zu wenig Personal (das was da war, war aber extrem bemüht)

Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und hochwertig zubereitet. Dafür gibt es 5 Sterne! Lediglich der Preis ist schon ganz schön happig und manchmal für einen Laien nicht nachvollziehbar. Warum ist zum Beispiel ein Teller mit sehr viel Gemüse und ein wenig Halloumi teurer als ein Burger mit Rindfleisch und Pommes? Zumal es weniger sättigend ist… Aber gut, qualitativ und geschmacklich war wie gesagt alles bestens. Nicht so schön war leider der Service. Wir wurden gleich damit begrüßt, dass wir mit langer Wartezeit von ca. 1 Stunde rechnen müssen. Leider klang es ein bisschen so, als würde man es lieber sehen, wenn wir gehen würden. Komisch war nur, dass nur die Hälfte der Plätze belegt war und eigentlich schon fast alle Gäste ihre Speisen auf dem Tisch hatten. Wir hatten kein Problem mit der langen Wartezeit und wollten trotzdem gerne hier essen. Neben der langen Wartezeit war jedoch auch Aufmerksamkeit uns gegenüber sehr gering. Wir wurden nicht gefragt, ob wir noch etwas möchten, alles in Ordnung ist o.ä. Auch dann nicht, als wir die vorletzten Gäste waren. Sehr sehr schade für ein recht schönes Lokal in einer Touristenregion.

We ate there for the first time today. I had sweet potato with grilled vegetables, cheese, and garlic sauce, which were delicious in themselves. Unfortunately, the vegetables were a bit too soft, probably because they were under the potato slices or grilled too softly. I also mentioned this to the friendly waitress, not as a complaint. They immediately offered me a drink on the house as compensation, which I gratefully accepted. The restaurant isn't the cheapest, but when you go out to eat, you know it costs money. Based on their immediate attention and their constant checking if everything is okay, you can say the service is top-notch. We had a dog with us, which didn't cause any problems; the waitress immediately gave it a bowl of water. Perhaps my suggestion regarding the grilled vegetables will be taken into account and the vegetables won't be grilled quite so softly. Thank you for the delicious meal🍀

Super recommended. We celebrated my wife's birthday with a nice meal as part of a small wellness weekend. It was great in every way. We felt super comfortable and were able to really enjoy the evening. From the service (super friendly and very quick) to the wonderful quality of the food, everything was at the top level. Gladly again.

The waitress who met us was totally unfriendly. When we asked if she spoke English, she rudely said no twice. We felt ourselves unwelcome. There was no attempt from the waitress to help us with our order. Get your one star for "fabulous" service.

The best location for a family celebration. Very nice location and great panoramic view through large glass surfaces (which unfortunately let in a lot of heat in summer) The food (starters, main courses, desserts and also the ice cream) are excellent, very fresh and incredibly tasty! The drinks are at a pleasant temperature and the cocktails also deserve the name (no adulterated syrup, alcohol in just the right dosage, fresh ingredients). An incredibly attentive service staff - until well after midnight - always friendly, attentive and courteous! There’s an extra star for that! We felt very comfortable and well looked after at our celebration and at all other visits. Absolute TOP recommendation.

The reviews got us going. The prices were hearty, both for the drinks. The quality of the food was not up to par. The pulled burger was dripping with oil, the fries were oily and fried for too long. A good location and friendly service doesn't beat this!

Very good expirence, dining on the terrace. Food came fairly quick and was very good quality. The rib eyes were flame grilled, very tender and tasty. The price is definitely a little above average in Harzen in general, but definitely worth it.

Unfortunately, the menu and recommendations offered on the website had nothing to do with the actual offer There were no grilled skewers. No fish, especially no visible Harz beef. Grill with charcoal...none. Fried potatoes sold out at 6:15 p.m. (opening hours from 6 p.m.). Veg. Burger was with meat (was exchanged after complaint... but without sauce... with ketchup it worked), the gnocchi with so much smoke flavor, mushy, green asparagus were beans. Schnitzel and fries were good. It's a shame, the concert on the homepage sounds good.

We celebrated our wedding here a week ago and are incredibly excited. The location is cozy and festive, the food was beautifully prepared and very tasty. All needs were lovingly addressed (gluten-free pasta station, vegetarian vegetable lasagne as well as meat and fish variations, etc.). The service was wonderful and warm. With the meal there was a lovely surprise from the location. The support in advance was also uncomplicated and cordial and we always felt that we were in good hands and that we were given competent and warm advice. The prepared decorations and the set tables looked wonderful and blended in harmoniously with our decorative items. The entire backdrop with the mountains and the tree houses, with the high ceilings and lots of light provided great impressions and fantastic photos during the day. It was a wonderful day that we will remember forever and we look forward to every further event here, big and small. Dear team from Origin and Ettershaus, thank you! ❤️

The schnitzel was not crispy, but dry. The side salad we ordered was tiny and the price was unreasonable. The spare ribs were softly cooked and the sauce was nothing special.

We celebrated our wedding here with a free ceremony and had a perfect day! Great service, very tasty food and a great ambience! Very flexible even with spontaneous weather changes and a super friendly and thoughtful manager who is always available - perfect all around!

We were here as a family, 10 adults and 4 children. The food was very good and so was the waiting time. 5 points are not enough for the service, everyone was very friendly, professional and not dead serious.

Starter, main course and dessert were very tasty. Pre-soup perfectly seasoned, nice and creamy. The main course spareribs were very tender and came off the bone as soft as butter. Side salad finely sliced ​​and juicy, ambience could be a little more elegant, more suitable for the food.

The atmosphere was amazing, when the musician stopped and I could hear my thoughts again. Unfortunately you need to wait ages for the food, and when you have issues with your cold burger then you need to be real patient. The others food was better. Eat schnitzel, that's reliable.

We were there spontaneously over the Easter holidays. My companions all had small special requests, which were very kindly received by the waitress and all of them were fulfilled. Food was very good, probably the best burger I've had in a long time!

Today we were at Restaurantorigin for the first time… it was supposed to be a cozy evening. We were greeted with the information that today's meal would take around 40 minutes because the chef was unavailable. Somehow you had the feeling you had better leave. But we decided to stay. The service was friendly and very accommodating. Then at some point the food came, my food was tasty but cold and that was probably a huge problem that evening. One meal after another went back into the kitchen to warm up. At some point the chef let his displeasure out and so loudly that it echoed into the dining room. It was very unpleasant to witness this tantrum. I especially felt very sorry for the waitress... Conclusion for this restaurant: once and never again… and certainly not a recommendation

I was here for a cozy evening with friends (bachelorette evening) and was extremely disappointed. When we arrived, we were informed that the food would take longer today due to the lack of staff. Then the food was cold and then we had to notice I found it very unpleasant that the chef loudly insulted the waitress. For this reason, I will no longer visit this restaurant and will not recommend it to others. I would still like to thank our waitress (Ms. Poller) for her kindness and warmth.

There were three of us...the wrong food was brought...unfortunately the right one wasn't brought at all...the starter didn't taste like anything...a main course wasn't seasoned...the salad only came after we asked for it...it wasn't even asked .. whether we would like to drink something else..there was no excuse for the wrong dish..or the right dish not being brought..so..ONCE AND NEVER AGAIN..we would NOT recommend it

Ambiance: Modern architecture, unfortunately a bit fresh due to the very high ceiling. The highlight would be if the fireplace was lit in the middle. Service: Super friendly, very attentive, 5 stars Eat: Food was very good, rib eye steak was great in terms of meat quality. I ordered the doneness rare. Usually you get medium, like here. The chef still has to practice a bit, but it was still great.

Were there on Saturday evening and it was great. The ambience is really very nice, everything is appropriately furnished. The food was very good. I had the BBQ burger and loved it. The service was really friendly and we didn't have to wait long. All in all very recommendable!

They actually only called back about an hour before our reservation for 11 people, which had been confirmed for several days, and canceled it due to a booking error! All I can say is the very last drawer. Never again... 🤦

We had dinner there today and... Spontaneously got a table for 2 adults and 2 children. The food is simply great and for what you get it is completely justified. I can recommend the spare ribs. The service is also very nice and accommodating. The ambience was also good, the only thing that bothered us was that we found it a bit cool.

Wir waren Samstag Abend dort , es war gut besucht aber nicht rappelvoll. Die Speisekarte hört sich komplett lecker an. Wir entschieden uns für zwei kleinere Gerichte da wir spätnachmittags schon warm gegessen hatten. Wir hatten Rinder carpaccio und gebackene Süsskartoffel mit Halloumi. Beides total lecker und ausreichende Portion. Zu dem schönen Ambiente war auch das Personal super nett und zuvorkommend. Grosses Lob, das hat man heute nicht mehr so oft. Wir kommen ganz bald wieder 👍🏼 ich möchte nächstes Mal unbedingt die Steaks dort probieren

Als Zöliakie erkrankter Gast bin ich nicht einfach glücklich zu stellen. Dieses Restaurant hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Zum ersten Mal ,in meiner eingeschrenkten Zeit, wurde die gesamte Küche geputzt um mein Gericht nicht zu kontaminieren. WOW ! Was für ein Service. Die Bedienung war ausnahmslos freundlich und kompetent mit stehts einem Lächeln, einem authentischem Lächeln. Das Ambiente ist rustikal und sehr einladend, gemütlich und warmherzig. Ich komme aus Hamburg aber hier war ich nicht zum letzten Mal!!! Danke

Warum hier nur 4 Sterne??? Volle Punktzahl!!!! Wir waren das erste Mal im Ursprung. Hier kommen wir sehr gerne wieder. Wir hatten das Filet-Steak, einmal mit Ofenkartoffel, einmal mit Bratkartoffeln (war auf Wunsch problemlos möglich, steht so nicht in der Karte). Hier passte einfach alles: sehr, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, das Essen war 1+ mit Sternchen. Das Filet perfekt zubereitet, die Bratkartoffeln sehr gut, der Salat ebenso. Hier sind alle mit sehr viel Liebe, Herzblut und Engagement dabei. Wir waren sehr begeistert, Lob an das Team, gerne weiter so.

Unser Besuch im Ursprung hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen! Beim schönen, gemütlichen Ambiente begonnen, über die sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung und das hervorragende Essen- alles sehr gut! Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!

Insgesamt eher durchschnittlich in Anbetracht des Preises. Im Detail: Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, leider wurde Beilagenansalat mit Balsamico versprochen aber mit Joghurt-Dressing gebracht - trotz angesprochener Laktoseintoleranz. Dass zum Rumpsteak ein Beilagenansalat gehört wurde von zwei Kellnern verneint, die Karte weist den Salat aber eindeutig aus. Mehrere Beilagenansalate waren sandig, Hühnchenbrustfilet war recht trocken. Der Saal ist angenehm, trotz voller Hütte nicht zu laut. Unerwartete Unterhaltung von einem Saxophon-Alleinunterhalter.

Nicht zu erklären warum das Restaurant „nur“ mit 4,1 Sternen bewertet ist. Sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal und ein sehr schönes Ambiente. Die Vorspeisen und die Gerichte für die Kinder kamen nach kurzer Zeit. Wir fanden unsere Vorspeisen hervorragend - unsere Kinder waren von den Kinderschnitzeln begeistert. Zum Hauptgang hatten wir beide Rinderfilet (Medium), welches perfekt gegart war. Auch die Beilegen schmeckten super. Die Preise dort sind, wenn man das Ambiente, den Service und vor allem die Qualität des Essens betrachtet, absolut angemessen.

Die Aussicht ist sehr toll, der service ist sehr nett, sympatisch, freundlich und höflich zu beachten ist auch das alles sauber ist! Nicht nur die Aussicht ist toll sondern auch das restaurant an sich. Nicht zu vergessen ist dass das Essen auch sehr lecker ist.

Super gelungener Abend. Wir kommen zu 100% wieder. Es begann beim freundlichen Empfang, wir konnten uns zwischen 2 Tischen entscheiden, wurden super durch den Abend geführt. Der Service sowie das Essen waren klasse. Macht weiter so.

Sehr schön gelegenes Restaurant, tolles Ambiente mit Wohlfühlatmospäre, sehr freundliches Personal, sehr leckeres, leichtes Essen, wurde auch schnell serviert, ohne die sonst in Bad Harzburg erlebten langen Wartezeiten. Wir waren rundum zufrieden, kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben den 18 Geburtstag meines Sohnes gefeiert, mit einem sehr schönen 4Gang Menüs. Alle Gänge waren sehr gut und haben geschmeckt. Das Team im Ursprung war/ist aufmerksam und Freundlich. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir waren gestern dort mein Partner und ich ,wir waren auf einer Geburtstagsfeier eingeladen . Das Essen war super lecker 😍 die location war auch sehr angenehm. Die grössen der Speisen waren sehr groß und man wird auf alle Fälle satt .Zu den Kosten kann ich keine Auskunft geben da wir halt eingeladen waren. Auf jedenfall würde ich dort wieder essen gehen ❤️

Tolles Ambiente und super Service. Essen war auch total lecker, hätte aber ein bisschen weniger Fett vertragen können. Die Bratkartoffel schwammen quasi in Öl, habe ich so auch noch nicht gesehen 🙃 Die Portionen wirkten auf den ersten Blick recht klein, überraschenderweise waren wir danach aber dennoch (zu 80%) satt. Ich hätte mir für den Preis ein klein wenig größere Portionen gewünscht, gerade was Beilagen angeht. Es gab eine gute Auswahl an vegetarischen/veganen Gerichten. 👍

Die Weinkarte könnte umfangreicher sein und es wäre toll, wenn der bestellte Wein auch da wäre. 🤣🤣👍❤️ Gut trinke wir eben Chianti und keinen Amarone.🤣🤣🤣 Nachtrag: Musikprogramm muss angepasst werden. Radiosender mit Modern Talking - 🤷‍♂️ chillige Lounge Musik zum Essen wäre toll. Ist aber nur meine Meinung. 😁

Zu Feierlichkeiten hier gewesen, die Räumlichkeit waren toll und modern, die Toilette war mit bzw ohne Trennwand witzig - aber unangebracht! Der Spiegel ist ein Witz! Das Essen war gut - mehr aber aus meiner Sicht nicht. Der Service war aber echt bemerkenswert! Freundlich, aufmerksam, und an passenden stellen witzig! Da haben alle einen guten Job gemacht und scheinbar Spass an ihrer Arbeit!
