Ein absoluter Geheimtipp in Frankfurt! Die Speisekammer begeistert auf ganzer Linie. Schon beim Betreten spürt man die herzliche Atmosphäre, die von dem freundlichen Team geschaffen wird. Die Speisekarte ist abwechslungsreich und kreativ – hier findet wirklich jeder etwas. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Qualität der Zutaten und die Liebe zum Detail bei der Zubereitung der Gerichte. Jeder Bissen war ein Genuss! Dazu kommt eine tolle Weinauswahl, die perfekt auf die Speisen abgestimmt ist. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist mehr als fair. Ich kann die Speisekammer nur wärmstens empfehlen und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

We had a reservation for two, looking forward to a nice evening. The restaurant itself is quite beautiful, however, the table they had reserved for us was located in a secluded closet space next to the main restaurant, which was ugly and cold. When asking for a proper table that was actually in the restaurant, they were rude and did not accommodate. When we then decided to leave, they were even more rude. The food may be good – we wouldn't know – but don't reserve for two people only, or they might put you in a stuffy, neon-lit version of Harry Potter's cupboard under the stairs.

This was our first time at the Alte Kanzlei (Old Chancellery). To our surprise, we were given a parking space right in front of the restaurant! A very good start to a lovely evening. We received an attentive welcome, and the beautiful Italian ambiance whetted our appetite for the menu. After a delicious aperitif, we started with the steak tartare, which was unfortunately a bit underseasoned and had a bit too much and overpowering Parmesan cream. The salmon cubes in a pistachio crust were perfect for me – fantastic! This was accompanied by a very fairly priced Italian Sauvignon Blanc. The Calabrian octopus was delicious – great, slightly spicy vegetables and very tender octopus. To finish, we had a sweet pistachio parfait. All in all, very good and fairly priced too!

I was there with my son and daughter. It is a humble and down-to-earth restaurant. The operation and service is very warm and hardworking. It makes you feel very familiar. We ate pizza and were very surprised. You can tell there are real Italians at work. We eat a lot of pizza often, but these were exceptionally tasty and good. The dough was great and the topping was perfect. We'll definitely be back! Definitely recommended! It's fantastic. Grazie mille!

One of my favorite restaurants in Frankfurt! I'm a big fan of Vietnamese cuisine anyway. I also think it's great that almost all dishes are also available in vegan form. I'm just sad that the restaurant is temporarily closed. Is it already clear when it will open again?

A rustic authentic Frankfurt apple wine restaurant. The ambience is exactly what you want. Simply honest and not artificial. The Ebbelwoi tastes good, the food is also good, even if it's not a highlight, the service is fast, you just feel comfortable here. Thumbs up!

The taste is more like kindergarten level. No spice in anything. Even cocktails get messed up. Not recommended!
