Tandoori Garden in Frankfurt am Main

Es war ein tolles Erlebnis, das Essen war sehr gut.

Zu Beginn gab es einen Gruß aus der Küche mit Papadam Brot und 3 Soßen (Minze/Aprikosen Chutney und einer dunklen würzigen Soße) Das Personal war sehr freundlich und Aufmerksam. Zur Vorspeise hatten wir eine kleine Grillplatte mit Lammfleisch auf Gemüse, welche Optisch ein absoluter Hingucker und geschmacklich auf den Punkt gewürzt und zubereitet war. Als Hauptgericht hatten wir Tikka Masalla und Gemüse in würziger Tomatensoße mit Reis dazu ein Garlic Naan. Das Brot war warm, außen knusprig, innen fluffig und mit viel frischem Knoblauch und Kräutern. Die beiden Currys waren perfekt gewürzt, kein TK Gemüse alles frisch und geschmacklich absolut perfekt. Als Nachtisch gab es je eine Kugel Vanilleeis mit Mangosoße und Sahne aufs Haus und als Absacker einen Schnaps. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, es hat uns wirklich hervorragend Geschmeckt.

Wir hatten bestellt und mussten 2 Stunden auf das Essen warten - sorry aber das geht einfach nicht, wenn man die Lieferzeit mit 30-45 min angibt. Das Essen war lecker, bis auf das Naan (sehr trocken). Wir werden hier sicher nicht mehr bestellen.

Wir waren an einem Mittwochabend zum Abendessen dort. Es war ruhig, der Service war hervorragend und das Essen fantastisch. Absolut empfehlenswert, insbesondere für Gäste des nahegelegenen Amadeus Hotels, da das Personal problemlos Englisch spricht.

Ich habe Hühnchen-Biryani bestellt – das schlechteste Biryani, das ich je gegessen habe! Der Reis war viel zu hart, die Tomaten und Zwiebeln nicht gar. Null 👎👎👎👎👎 Nicht so lecker!

Ich bestellte Chicken Jalfrezi, bekam aber Hühnchen mit Tomatenketchup und Currywurstpulver – das unauthentischste indische Essen, das ich je gegessen habe. Es ist mir peinlich für sie. Die koreanische Familie neben mir war ebenfalls völlig perplex.

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Ein deutliches 'Keine Werbung'-Schild am Briefkasten wurde hier einfach ignoriert und trotzdem ein Flyer eingeworfen. Als ich dem Restaurant dennoch eine Chance gab, war das Essen extrem unterdurchschnittlich. Der Lieferant war zudem unfassbar unhöflich und hat bei der Übergabe an der Tür nicht einmal sein privates Telefongespräch unterbrochen. Wer schon im Vorfeld zeigt, dass ihm Kundenwünsche völlig egal sind, hat offensichtlich kein Interesse an gutem Service und schon gar nicht an den Bedürfnissen seiner Mitmenschen.

Wir hatten 3 Speisen, welche super schnell kamen und geschmacklich 1+ mit Sternchen verdient haben. Der Service ist ultra aufmerksam und sehr zuvorkommend. Absolute Empfehlung.

Wir waren heute zu 3. im windgeschützten und überdachten Außenbereich essen. Dieser war sehr gepflegt. Von innen ist der Laden aber noch schöner. Jedes der bestellten Gerichte war köstlich. Die Speisen kamen schnell. Besonders überzeugt hat uns aber der Service - wir wurden direkt am Eingang begrüßt - das Serviceteam war super höflich, sympathisch und sehr aufmerksam - es gab einen Gruß aus der Küche und einen kleinen Nachtisch - die Teller wurden warm an den Platz gebracht und professionell mit Handtuch angereicht - auf Wunsch haben wir sofort noch mehr der (wirklich sehr) scharfen Soße gebracht bekommen für zuhause - wir konnten auch beobachten wie bei größeren Gesellschaften alle zeitlich ihr Essen bekommen haben Insgesamt waren wir begeistert und werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen ☺️

Wir haben Paneer Pakora, Paneer Tikka Masala und Aloo Paratha probiert, und alles war sehr schmackhaft. Die Paneer-Gerichte waren hervorragend zubereitet und aromatisch, und auch das Aloo Paratha war sehr gut. Insgesamt ein gelungenes Essen und ein schönes Restaurant, um in Frankfurt indische Küche zu genießen.

Dieses Restaurant katapultiert einen geschmacklich direkt nach Indien. Die Gerichte wirken sehr authentisch und sind hervorragend zubereitet. Besonders positiv überrascht hat mich, dass die Masalas nicht schwer oder überladen waren, sondern aromatisch, ausgewogen und voller Geschmack. Das Chicken war perfekt zart, vor allem das Tandoori Chicken – wirklich butterweich. Auch die Samosas waren richtig gut und haben gezeigt, mit wie viel Sorgfalt hier gekocht wird. Die Schärfe war angenehm präsent und wirkte authentisch, ohne den Geschmack zu überdecken. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch den Service: aufmerksam, freundlich und sehr gastorientiert. Selbst als wir beim Dessert etwas Falsches gewählt hatten, wurde sofort und unkompliziert eine Alternative gebracht – ohne Diskussion, einfach mit einem Lächeln. So einen entspannten und professionellen Service erlebt man selten. Großes Kompliment an das gesamte Team – wir kommen definitiv wieder.

War heute mal wieder da. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die MitarbeiterInnen sehr aufmerksam und freundlich - top. Es gab Naan Brot und Nachtisch auf's Haus. Preis-Leistung ist sehr gut und die Portionen sind hier groß. Man kann sich als Gruppe gut unterhalten. Samstagabend ist eine Reservierung empfehlenswert.

Ich komme aus China und war geschäftlich in Frankfurt. Ich wohnte in einem nahegelegenen Hotel und habe dieses indische Restaurant über Google Maps gefunden. Satnam Singhs Service war wirklich außergewöhnlich. Wir waren zu dritt und bestellten einige seiner empfohlenen Gerichte. Das Ambiente war sehr schön. Alles in allem: fantastisch! Absolut empfehlenswert! 👍🏻

Schnell geliefert. Solide Gerichte. Zartes Hühnchen. Soße beim Butter Chicken aber enttäuschend: ziemlich wässrig und geschmacklich nah an Ketchup mit Sahne.

The customer isn't king here, they're the one at fault! Forgetting food can happen – how you handle it reveals the character of a restaurant. Unfortunately, this one failed miserably. One out of five dishes was missing. Instead of a solution, the owner only offered arrogance: "What am I supposed to do now?" was his response. Zero understanding, zero service, zero stars (if that were possible).

We often order food from Tandoori Garden, and it has always been a great experience. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The food was very fresh and arrived quickly. We had absolutely no complaints. The service was exceptional. We were asked twice if everything was alright without being intrusive. After dinner, we received a complimentary scoop of coconut ice cream with mango sauce and whipped cream. My go-to place for Indian food in Frankfurt; I've been going there for years and it's always great and delicious. The service is super friendly and I think the prices are completely fair! Highly recommended!

The food was incredibly delicious. The Tondooti chicken was tender and served on a steaming platter. The fish was exceptionally tasty and plentiful. A small appetizer and dessert were included. The ambiance is unique; I love it. You suddenly find yourself in an Indian restaurant, in what used to be a typical old corner pub (with beer advertisements in the windows). Fantastic!

Unfortunately, it really deserves five stars. However, the deductions are unavoidable. In the rain at the end of November, you're stuck sitting in the freezing cold outdoor area, and communication wasn't ideal due to language barriers. But the food and the value for money are second to none.

We ate here before a concert and found the restaurant by chance. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. The service was excellent. I would definitely go there again before the next concert.

Tandoori Garden – highly recommended! A truly lovely place that we discovered through the Schlemmerblock (a discount booklet). An authentic family-run business with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The food is exceptionally delicious and freshly prepared, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. We felt completely at ease and will definitely be back! We were asked if we wanted more rice – I said yes, but just a little – as I only had a bit of sauce left. This was charged at €3.50, but we also received a small appetizer and a small ice cream for dessert.

We arrived on Saturday evening, so it was quite busy. The food tasted fantastic, but unfortunately, we had to wait about 1.5 hours for our order, which then arrived incomplete. The naan bread we ordered seemed to have been forgotten, but the rice arrived so early that it was already cold by the time the curry came. The staff were all friendly, but they seemed overwhelmed by the number of customers. We also waited over 10 minutes for the card reader. Perhaps we just caught them on a bad day, but the overall experience unfortunately doesn't warrant more than 3 stars. At least we got a free scoop of ice cream. While we would definitely come back for the food and the value for money, the waiting times made it a rather frustrating experience overall.

Sunday night everything was shit down and I found this diamond in a mostly industrial area. Had chicken korma and garlic naan. No trace of fat on the chicken, candle under the sauce keeping every bite hot, delicious flavors! So glad I found this! Sorry the photo is halfway through, but I just had to share!

Simply amazing! I've never eaten so well in my life. Every dish is incredibly tasty, full of authentic flavors, and perfectly spiced. I've eaten at many Indian restaurants, but this is definitely the best. The service was super fast and extremely friendly, always smiling and ready to offer advice. You immediately feel at home. If you're in Fuerteventura, you absolutely have to try it. I recommend it to everyone!!!

The food was okay, and all six of us were satisfied. The sauces were delicious, and the other ingredients were also good. Unfortunately, some of the staff had limited German skills, so we couldn't communicate some of their limitations. It wasn't possible to split our bills, so we had to do the math ourselves, and calculating the bill for our Schlemmerblock (snack block) was a huge problem.

I went to the restaurant for an early dinner while I was craving for Indian dishes. This is a quiet place and good seating arrangement. I ordered a paneer item and a vegetable biryani both of them were not Indian dishes for sure. All cooked in some red sauce which was having some coconut and sugar. Tasted the worst ever dish of my life. Definitely they are selling something else by the name of Indian. The worst was Gulab Jamun which was chilled and not edible. If someone want to eat Indian, surely not a place .

Although we had reserved a table, we weren't seated in the restaurant (which was available), but instead in the drafty tent in front. There, we waited an hour and a quarter for our food until all the other guests had left. There was no apology, just the blunt comment that we could currently wait up to two hours for our food. Very poor service.

Absolutely disappointing, never again! Ordered at 6:24 PM, and after more than two hours, the delivery still hadn't arrived. When I inquired by phone, the response was extremely rude, claiming I was alone, and several inappropriate, condescending remarks followed. I won't be accepting the order again and will send the driver back. We've since ordered elsewhere, where the food will probably arrive even faster. That was the last time for me; Tandoori Garden is no longer an option.

We visited this establishment and were very pleased. The cuisine is truly pleasing - the dishes are delicious, the service is fast, and the atmosphere conveys the authentic spirit of the establishment. It was especially pleasant to see that the staff is friendly and attentive to the guests. Despite the fact that I usually do not prefer dishes with an abundance of spices, the lamb in mint sauce turned out to be a real discovery - tender meat, harmony of tastes and aromas. A great place where you want to return again.

This evening (May 14, 2025) was another delight. We came all the way from the north of Frankfurt and were absolutely thrilled with the selection, preparation, and presentation of the food. We received a very friendly welcome and service and even found a parking space right in front of the entrance.

We come here regularly to eat. One star is deducted for the currently extremely long waiting time and the very poorly organized staff. When the owner is back, I hope things will get better again. Unfortunately, the lady at the counter only prepares drinks. Assigning guests to a table is already too much for them. Unfortunately, the smaller waiter doesn't work in a structured manner and is sometimes a bit tactless. Everything is very disorganized. Been here at 8 p.m. The order was only taken at 8:45 p.m. Received food at 9:50 p.m. But the food is great as always. If you want to eat here at the moment, you have to have a lot of time. Addendum: The service is again very courteous and good. 5 stars are more than deserved.

The staff was extremely friendly. After our order was taken, we were served a complimentary Indian appetizer with various dips. Not only was the food super delicious, but the portions were perfectly filling. The server even asked if he could bring us more rice. That was super friendly. After the meal, we even got dessert on the house! And all for a great price! We were very satisfied and would gladly come back! 😊
