Tandoori Garden in Frankfurt am Main

Simply amazing! I've never eaten so well in my life. Every dish is incredibly tasty, full of authentic flavors, and perfectly spiced. I've eaten at many Indian restaurants, but this is definitely the best. The service was super fast and extremely friendly, always smiling and ready to offer advice. You immediately feel at home. If you're in Fuerteventura, you absolutely have to try it. I recommend it to everyone!!!

The food was okay, and all six of us were satisfied. The sauces were delicious, and the other ingredients were also good. Unfortunately, some of the staff had limited German skills, so we couldn't communicate some of their limitations. It wasn't possible to split our bills, so we had to do the math ourselves, and calculating the bill for our Schlemmerblock (snack block) was a huge problem.

I went to the restaurant for an early dinner while I was craving for Indian dishes. This is a quiet place and good seating arrangement. I ordered a paneer item and a vegetable biryani both of them were not Indian dishes for sure. All cooked in some red sauce which was having some coconut and sugar. Tasted the worst ever dish of my life. Definitely they are selling something else by the name of Indian. The worst was Gulab Jamun which was chilled and not edible. If someone want to eat Indian, surely not a place .

Although we had reserved a table, we weren't seated in the restaurant (which was available), but instead in the drafty tent in front. There, we waited an hour and a quarter for our food until all the other guests had left. There was no apology, just the blunt comment that we could currently wait up to two hours for our food. Very poor service.

Absolutely disappointing, never again! Ordered at 6:24 PM, and after more than two hours, the delivery still hadn't arrived. When I inquired by phone, the response was extremely rude, claiming I was alone, and several inappropriate, condescending remarks followed. I won't be accepting the order again and will send the driver back. We've since ordered elsewhere, where the food will probably arrive even faster. That was the last time for me; Tandoori Garden is no longer an option.

Very tasty food served in traditional brass bowls, large portions, and good value for money. It's just a shame you can't sit outside under the open sky.

We visited this establishment and were very pleased. The cuisine is truly pleasing - the dishes are delicious, the service is fast, and the atmosphere conveys the authentic spirit of the establishment. It was especially pleasant to see that the staff is friendly and attentive to the guests. Despite the fact that I usually do not prefer dishes with an abundance of spices, the lamb in mint sauce turned out to be a real discovery - tender meat, harmony of tastes and aromas. A great place where you want to return again.

We had lunch at Tandoori Garden today. The food was delicious, the service was very friendly, and the prices were excellent. We'd be happy to come back. This evening (May 14, 2025) was another delight. We came all the way from the north of Frankfurt and were absolutely thrilled with the selection, preparation, and presentation of the food. We received a very friendly welcome and service and even found a parking space right in front of the entrance.

We come here regularly to eat. One star is deducted for the currently extremely long waiting time and the very poorly organized staff. When the owner is back, I hope things will get better again. Unfortunately, the lady at the counter only prepares drinks. Assigning guests to a table is already too much for them. Unfortunately, the smaller waiter doesn't work in a structured manner and is sometimes a bit tactless. Everything is very disorganized. Been here at 8 p.m. The order was only taken at 8:45 p.m. Received food at 9:50 p.m. But the food is great as always. If you want to eat here at the moment, you have to have a lot of time. Addendum: The service is again very courteous and good. 5 stars are more than deserved.

Super delicious - super service. We ate at Tandoori Garden today and were extremely satisfied. At first glance, don't be put off by the restaurant's traditional feel. The staff was extremely friendly. After our order was taken, we were served a complimentary Indian appetizer with various dips. Not only was the food super delicious, but the portions were perfectly filling. The server even asked if he could bring us more rice. That was super friendly. After the meal, we even got dessert on the house! And all for a great price! We were very satisfied and would gladly come back! 😊

Super delicious food. The service and the ambience are okay. However, we had to wait yesterday, the drinks took about 20 minutes and the food took 1 1/2 hours. The taste was great and the price-performance ratio was unbeatable.

Down-to-earth Indian located a little out of the way. The three sauces for the obligatory “Amuse Gueule” look and taste like any Indian and come 100% from the bottle. But the main courses were very good and there was free mango ice cream for dessert. Gladly again!

After eight years, another update. Still very friendly service. You still get papadum and a small dessert for free and it still tastes very tasty. Even though it has fluctuated over the years, it remains my go-to Indian. Price still very good ------------ Best Indian in the area. Super tasty and very friendly. Price/performance very good.

A visit to this Indian restaurant will take you on a short vacation for the duration of your stay. The dishes taste authentically Indian, the staff is extremely attentive, and the prices are actually too low. Extra requests are gladly accepted. It's just fun to eat here and forget about time. You can also have meals prepared to take away. In short: a great location to recommend.

Service is fast. Food is great. Parking infront. I would recommend the Lamm Korma, it's sweet tender and delicious. Serving portion is also okay and price ratio is also good. Mango lassi is perfect. We had a good time and good food. I'd say one of the best indian restaurants we've tried so far. Thank you for the wonderful service.

Top Indian restaurant, tastes really good. It's hidden away in an industrial area, parking is difficult, but if you look around it works. The only thing I'll skip next time is the espresso, it was hot, too bitter, too much water, but let's be honest, who drinks an espresso in an Indian restaurant? Tuesday lunchtime there is a buffet, not big, but big enough, salad, soup, naan, two with chicken, two veggies and dessert.

I was there for the first time. I would love to eat there again. Came across it through “Schlemmerblock”. In my opinion, the restaurant is a bit hidden in the Enkheim / Seckbach commercial area. Not all of the employees speak German. This made questions about courts a little difficult. The ambience could definitely use some renovation/sprucing up. BUT our starter and 2 meals were absolutely top, very tasty, well served. Cheap for the portions brought (regardless of the gourmet block). 3 drinks, 1x delicious starter and 2 very good meals are less than € 50!!!!

This Indian restaurant felt very authentic and it was my very first time trying Indian Food in general. The kind waiter even brought me their spiciest sauce. Our favorite Indian restaurant! Very tasty food, well seasoned, everything goes well. Large selection of breads, also with fillings. As a starter there is free bread with sauces. Reasonable portion sizes and very, very friendly waiters!! An all-round great experience, the food comes on small warmers with tea lights in them. There was even ice cream on the house for dessert. The prices are very good, the two of us paid €38 without a tip. Great recommendation for vegetarians too, very large vegetarian menu! Almost an insider tip :)

Very good restaurant with very tasty Indian food and very friendly and lovely people. Mr. Satnam Singh took wonderful care of us. We come there 2-3 times a year when we are visiting Frankfurt. Very inconspicuous from the outside, but definitely worth a visit. Price-performance is unbeatable. Dessert was free as a gift from the house. Everything was very clean and always a bit like being on vacation. For us the best Indian restaurant that we know. The curries are all very good and I can also highly recommend the tandoori prawns

Not recommended. !NOT HALAL! Firstly, children's work and very close atmosphere. Secondly, we called and asked if their food was halal. They said that they have a Halal certificate. After we arrived and asked if we could see the certificate, the attendant (whom we were talking to on the phone) did as he did when he didn't understand me after I clearly asked him about 10 times if we could see it , his father came and said he would get the certificate. After 2 minutes the father came back and said that they don't have a certificate, which is where we finally left. I'm not angry that they aren't halal, but that they lied about it on the phone.

We sat outside, the table was a little dirty and there were little animals around. But there's absolutely nothing wrong with the great food and friendly service. Absolutely recommended, also due to the low prices for large portions.

The food is very tasty, with a wide variety of dishes. We received a free starter and a small gift from the house in the form of dessert. The plates are delivered warmed so that the food on the plate stays warm longer. Mr. Singh's service is good, polite and courteous. We would like to come again.
