Was there today. Very nice atmosphere with relaxing music. There are various options at the hot counter. Vegetarian/chicken/beef or lamb plates with rice or naan bread. Large portions of delicious food, and highly recommended for the price.

Shahi Curry is still an insider tip, even though the restaurant has been around for many years. This could be due to its rather hidden location – so close to the Zeil, yet so far away... The food is truly amazing, the selection is enormous and always sophisticated and unusual – or has anyone ever seen Brussels sprout curry anywhere else? My personal favorite is the egg curry – it's not available every day, but you're compensated with other delicious alternatives, and you can always make new taste discoveries. Finally, it's also great that it's so quick. You choose your combination, and the food is on the table three minutes later. You're treated friendly, too. Just go there, it's worth it.

I stopped by for afternoon traditional snacks and chai (tea). The food was made fresh and everything was so delicious.

I've been eating here for ten years and have never been disappointed. It's not a traditional restaurant experience, as you bring your own cutlery, drinks from cans, etc., but the prices are simply great, the food is delicious, and the owners are super friendly. Freshly cooked meals are served every morning, so there's a small but fine selection of dishes in the display, which you can then put together as you wish, warm up in the microwave, and thus offer new delicacies every day. If you skip the meat option and the raita, even vegans and vegetarians will find something to suit them, and the kitchen also offers mostly gluten-free options.

Extremely delicious food! Vegetarian and chicken, with starters and desserts, were super tasty and there was something for everyone. At first, we were a bit skeptical because we were the only ones there, but the owners were very nice and organized an "Indian evening" for us with appropriate music! Not suitable if you want fancy food (you have to get your own cutlery), but otherwise, the food is 10/10!

There were two of us and we had the butter chicken, which was delicious. I also liked that there were only six dishes, which were prepared fresh every day. We also chatted with the owner, who was incredibly friendly. Overall, highly recommended.

Still a gem! Home-cooked, authentic Pakistani-Indian food. You choose what you want on your plate, and in a few minutes, it's steaming from the plate, fragrant with aroma. Truly delicious, a definite recommendation. The ambiance isn't comparable to a restaurant, but I'll overlook that – given the taste of the food and Mohammad Ramzan's warm personality :-)

We were in Frankfurt for 2 days and our go-to eatery was this place. Amazing taste, atmosphere, and people. They made a special breakfast of egg paratha and tea for us. Everything was scrumptious. Must-visit place!

I found this little restaurant from a little sign on the street. It did absolutely fantastic vegetarian options i had beans, cabbage, saag and aubergine and cougettes. All cooked to perfection in mild spices. I havet had aubergine cooked that well since i visited halkidikki in 2019. They do chicken, lamb and beef too. Honestly the value and the amount is brilliant. Its friendly they played some music while i was there and it was quite busy with locals. The servers are so friendly and speak great english too which is a bonus. They do great lunch deals so honestly if you are visiting the market it is worth going and hunting this place out. You wont be disappointed.

Since the renovation, the restaurant looks much better than in the pictures here. Great for the lunch break! It's quick and tastes good. There are ready-made meals to choose from that are heated in a convection oven, not a microwave. The quality of the food is very good.

They answer your questions and prepare your order, if you like, according to your desire. *Cleanliness is fairly good. It is not a luxury restaurant, so we would say excellent, but it is good.. It is preferable that you return the dishes to a place where they collect them and leave the table as we found it. I was keen on this matter whether here or in their monastery... *The food was very good. We liked it. We ordered more than one order of mixed vegetables and butter chicken with rice.. very good and their prices are reasonable... $The order of three medium mixed dishes with rice and four drinks is approximately 39 euros with tax$ ***According to what the restaurant owners said, they only cook biryani on Saturdays, so if you are a fan of biryani, you will find it, God willing, in abundance on this day...
