Our pizzas were very tasty and very large. There was bread with dip and a grappa on the house. The employees were all friendly. You can sit outside here, which is pleasant due to the quiet location. Parasols are also available. The prices are very cheap.

Very tasty pizzas & pasta dishes. Order here regularly for self-collection. The pizza is ready within a maximum of 20 minutes, always tastes excellent and the portion size is more than generous for the price. Nice bonus: every 11th pizza is free for those who pick it up themselves.

Always my pleasure. The lunch menu is highly recommended - starter, main course and a dessert at a very moderate price. The pizza is prepared in a stone oven and to start with, there is fresh, warm bread with a very tasty spread. Wonderful

Different pizza maker different quality. A pity. Much smaller portions and the taste is different too. We've been going there for years and have them delivered. No, not anymore! And if you want to say something about it, you're not even interested. The service even ignores it when you say: no, it wasn't okay... well, what do you do in such a case?...

The Italian restaurant offers a good selection of dishes, the prices are in the middle range, the ambience is functional, ok. For a special occasion I would choose another restaurant, but for a nice, casual get-together it would be fine. The staff is very friendly and demonstrates wit and charm.

Always delicious, very friendly and absolutely top! The prices are also still good (May 2024) there is always white bread with aioli in advance and usually a limoncello when paying! I always recommend it!

You can definitely eat delicious Italian food in Bornheim! The service is very nice and attentive. The food came without a long wait. The coordination between the starter and the main course worked perfectly. In addition, the portions are a bit meager at first glance. But that's actually not the case! We were all really full. We'll be back and if you like Italian food, this is definitely the right place for you!

Today it was okay and not very good as usual. The salad was delivered completely without dressing, even though we asked for it to be served separately. The pizza was so-so and the antipasti were very good. The service seemed to be under a bit of stress today, which was noticeable. Nevertheless, everyone was very friendly.

We regularly order food from the restaurant. Our favorite, which we really like, is the salad Italiana and the pizza bread. For me, the yogurt dressing is one of the best in Frankfurt, the portion is large and the combination is very tasty. But the pizzas and pasta are also very tasty. We will continue to order or pick up there as regular customers.

I am always impressed by the courteous service! So far I've only ever eaten spaghetti with seafood, but it's the best there! I'd love to come back!

I went for the Sunday lunch buffet. While the service was good, many of the plates were dirty. I found the food to be poor quality and not tasty or fresh. Overall a disappointing experience.

We have been visiting here regularly for years or have food delivered to us. The quality of the food is consistently good, as is the service. Whether pasta, pizza or other dishes on the menu: always delicious! Price-performance is also absolutely fine.

I had buffet, which was unfortunately a failure. Starters/antipasti good, but unfortunately rather mediocre quality. The salami… well… salad dressing balsamic and oil, that’s it. Main courses were impossible. At times it was such a mess that I couldn't even say what it was supposed to be. Unfortunately there was nothing there that appealed to me in the slightest, which was a real shame. Ready meatballs in an indefinable sauce. There was pizza, but unfortunately only one type with mushrooms and I don't like mushrooms... Dessert - tiramisu, cake from Coppenrath & Wiese and fruit salad with hard, unripe melon. Unfortunately the quality is completely excessive for 21.90. It's a shame because my companion had ordered a la carte and it was good, so 2 stars for the buffet but 0 stars. Service was very nice as always. At home, even though we paid over 50 euros together, I first ate some bread. So buffet is unfortunately no longer an option for me. A pity.

Overall very poor quality. The pizza dough is really a disaster and the pasta dishes are also completely tasteless. And the next 0815 “Italian” in Frankfurt.

Super leckerer Italiener mit nettem Service und tolles Ambiente. Wirkt wie in einem Nobelrestaurant, bei dem man Geld lassen muss, aber ganz im Gegenteil es ist total günstig und super gut. Zu zweit unter 30€ Rechnung und Pappsatt. Besser geht's nicht.

Our first time for a ' buffet lunch ' , strangely enough the price ( ca, €29,- p/p ) wasn't shown on the menu and most of the pictures of the lunch buffet shown on their homepage weren't available when we went there today ( Boxing Day at 1pm ). Today's buffet was certainly mediocre in comparison to their website photos - you'll have to make your own decision once you've been there. Today's buffet had a lot of stuff like sliced vegetables & tomatoes etc, but no smoked Salmon or other quality titbits & two simple desserts like fruit cocktail and the usual Tiramisu. Staff were friendly, kept off their feet as the restaurant was completely full. Parking is a problem in the residential area.

Ich war wohl zur falschen Zeit da. Es waren Weihnachtsfeier an diesem Tag Es qar laut sehr warm und sehr stickig, das Ambiente war evtl. wegen der Weihnachtsfeier so gestellt, dann wars ok, sollten die Tische dauerhaft so stehen dann dürfte sich das Restaurant nicht ristorante nennen. Das Essen jedoch ws sehr gut, für meinen Geschmack viel zu salzig und die Portion zu klein. Das Personal war nur unter Stress ansonsten sehr bemüht. Wir wollten mal im neuen Jahr nochmal da hin um zu schauen ob sich was geändert hat.

Seit Jahren gute Speisen und freundliche Bedienung. Es gibt sogar Stoffservietten auch beim Mittagstisch.

Ich kann dieses Restaurant ausnahmslos empfehlen! Egal ob Mittag oder Abendessen, es ist immer ein Besuch Wert. Die Wochenempfehlungen sind wirklich super. Meine persönliche Empfehlung: die Dorade und Seeteufel. Service ist super freundlich. Ambiente ist warm, herzlich und leicht rustikal. Für Kinder sind Kindersitze vorhanden, einfach den Service fragen.

bin seit vielen jahren kunde, sowohl vor ort, meistens per bestellung. duchessa kann alles, egal ob pizza, pasta, fleisch- oder fischgerichte. die fleisch und fischgerichte werden immer mit abwechselndem gemüse und beilagenvariationen serviert. immer frisch und sesional. es ist alles perfekt und das einfach immer. aller liebste grüße und macht weiter so

Ich habe heute (15.10.23) an einem Sonntag zu Mittag zum ersten mal hier bestellt. Lieferung erfolgte über Ubereats. Wir hatten einmal die Pizza La Duchessa sowie die Pennette al Forno. Die Pizza hatte einen sehr guten Teig, ausreichend Belag und vorallem war alles sehr frisch, die Garnelen waren sehr gut und der Rucola ebenfalls frisch. Die Pasta war ebenso hervorragend und sehr geschmackvoll. Werden aufjedenfall ab jetzt hier öfters bestellen und kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Unique place with the best food in Sicilia!! We would always come back

Empfangen wurden wir sehr freundlich von den Kellnern dieses Restaurants. Die Wartezeit verlief sehr zügig und ohne weiteren Probleme. Das Essen bietet eine große Portion (Pizza reichte für zwei Personen) Geschmacklich auch top! War im Innenbereich des Restaurants etwas laut gewesen. Im Sommer, am Abend und bei gutem Wetter empfehle ich es draußen zu sitzen.

Also schlechte Rezensionen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, die kommen dann von Leuten die einfach keine Ahnung haben und sonst minderwertige Ware gewöhnt sind. Es gibt richtigen Schafskäse und büffelmozarella. Essen ist sehr gut, große Portionen zu einem sehr guten Preis. Wenn etwas nicht passt, dann wird alles versucht es dem Gast recht zu machen. Alle sind sehr aufmerksam und Wartezeiten im allgemeinen kurz. Immer wieder gerne….

Schönes Restaurant mit vernünftigen Preisen und einer schönen Auswahl. Das Essen war sehr gut und schön angerichtet. Das Personal war freundlich, könnte aber noch ein wenig aufmerksamer sein. Alles in allem aber auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Mittagstisch gibt es übrigens immer super Angebote.

Am Ostermontag hatten wir uns auf das Ostermenü gefreut. Wir sind häufige Gäste und wurden eigentlich noch nie enttäuscht. Das war Ostermontag anders. Wir hatten uns alle vier für das Ostermenü entschieden. Zweimal Fisch, zweimal Zicklein. Die gemischte Vorspeise war schon eine große Enttäuschung. Viele Krabben, die schon frischere Zeiten erlebt hatten, ein Stück Schinken, der nicht sehr ansprechend aussah und eine undefinierbare kalte, frittierte Gemüsestange, deren Hauptbestandteil sich uns nicht zu erkennen gab. Die Hauptgerichte waren einigermaßen okay, allerdings muss man lauwarmes Essen mögen. Der Nachtisch hat gut geschmeckt, wurde allerdings, wie die anderen Gänge auch, völlig lieblos angerichtet. Nein, das war nicht das Essen, das wir erwartet hatten. Es war wohl einfach ein Resteessen. Bitte tut uns das nicht noch einmal an. Dann lieber den sehr günstigen Menüpreis erhöhen.

Sehr guter Italiener. Wir haben uns liefern lassen (Corona), die Pasta kam heiß und war ausgezeichnet. Große Portionen. Die Spaghetti frutti di mare für 13 € sind ein Traum, perfekter Oktopus, tolle Garnelen und eine Hammer Weißwein-Sauce. Auch die panzerotti sehr gut, Bolognese mit Luft nach oben. Alles in allem, sehr zu empfehlen!

Ich will nicht zu weit ausholen, aber ich bin ein Frankforter Bub. Kenne Bornheim (Bernem) sehr gut. Diese Bewertung bekommt auch das La Duchessa von mir. Ein Lokal mit Platz für mehr als die Corona-Pandemie derzeit erlaubt. Aber es ist keine unpersönliche Bahnhofshalle, sondern individuell. Es gibt einen Menüspeiseplan für die ganze Woche. Speziell ältere Menschen, die sich dort mittags in großer Zahl einfinden. Ich will nicht prahlen, aber ich bin einer der Jüngsten :-). Die noch jüngeren kommen auch, haben aber telefonisch bestellt und holen ihre Pizzen usw. ab. Ich wähle ein Risotto mit Safran , kleine gebratenen Zwiebelchen und bin begeistert. Sehr lecker. Meine Begleitung hat sich für eine Pizza entschieden, aber das ist nur die Spitze des Eisberges. Was immer aus der Küche an die anderen gut besuchten Tische serviert wird, hat Qualität und ist für s Auge, das isst mit. Sehr zu empfehlen, das “La Duchessa“. Als Beigabe vor dem Hauptgang gibt es Aiolo mit Brot. Davon hat meine Bekannte soviel gegessen, dass sie im Bus anderntags von einem älteren Herrn wg Knobi angemeckert wurde. So muss ein Besuch beim Italiener sein! Besucht das La Duchessa, ich kann es nur empfehlen. Eine umfangreiche Speisekarte, für jeden was dabei, souveräner Service, schönes Ambiente, kein Bahnhofshallen Empfinden, zumindest mittags viele ältere Menschen, die gut und günstig speisen. Besucht die italienische Herzogin!
