The interior is a bit worn, but the host, with his glasses and mustache, immediately makes you feel like you've been coming there for years. What a friendly man 👌🏻. And the coffee tastes amazing 👍🏻.

I arrived at the station early and thoroughly enjoyed the hours of waiting here. The waiter was super friendly to all the guests, offering kind words and ensuring a relaxed atmosphere, even when communication wasn't easy at times. Unfortunately, a large group of very loud guests arrived, but this didn't detract from the calm, polite, and serene atmosphere. The perfect oasis when waiting longer. I had the small breakfast and an extra coffee. I'll definitely use this bistro again.

A lovely little oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of Frankfurt's main train station. Exceptionally friendly and entertaining staff. It's good to know it's there; the wait suddenly seems very short, and it's almost a shame when you finally have to leave.

Had breakfast twice, quickly and inexpensively - 2 croissants with butter, jam and tea for €5.50, friendly.

Highly recommended. The owner is extremely friendly. The food is simple but tasty and reasonably priced. The coffee is delicious, and I like the bistro itself with its simple look, like a bar from a bygone era. A little gem in this train station.

A step into another world or another time. I arrived in Frankfurt way too early and to be honest, I don't like the train station, everything is hectic and loud and then these fast food chains or the air rolls from Backwerk, nothing to make you feel good. Then I discovered the Mitropa Café. Mitropa once stood for fresh food on the trains and at the stations, like in another time. Polite service, nice chat, delicious food and a breakfast for €5. Hopefully this will be around for a very long time!

An oasis at this train station. Everything is very, very clean. Super nice service and cut off from the hustle and bustle on the platform. Everything is affordable in terms of price. Absolute recommendation!

We bridged a 1.5 hour waiting time for the rail strike on March 8th, 2024. Our stay was sweetened with a piece of cheesecake, 2 coffees and a hot chocolate. All of this at an unbeatable station hall price of €11.90. The landlord is also incredibly friendly and can handle a full shop with ease. We will be happy to come here again on a future stay at Frankfurt train station. Our conclusion: Better have a coffee here than stand around stupidly on the platform.

Here you can relax and fill your waiting time in a pleasant atmosphere with a good selection of food and drinks. Thank you to the landlord who is a passionate restaurateur and who bought us champagne glasses for International Women's Day. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. We'll definitely be back!
