Terrace Bar Level 7 in Frankfurt am Main

The hotel was very nice and the breakfast was delicious. The room was a nice size. The only downside of the room is that even though I turned the air conditioner on, the room was not getting cool. Thankfully I visited in April so I was able to open the windows and get a bit of relief. Overall though, the hotel was clean, nicely laid out, and the view from the restaurant was lovely. There is access to an S bahn station nearby so that was very convenient for traveling throughout the city. I would definitely stay here again or in another Flemings hotel in the future.

The rooms were quite average, breakfast was fine. For the price, you’re really paying for location and corporate functions. The staff were polite but had poor customer service. Eg. not knowing how to check in almost charging me twice, forgetting about breakfast orders, long queues at the desks while checking in and out. I’ve stayed here in a couple of occasions now and found the experience the same.

The hotel is on the best spot for the city, close to the shopping area, close to the historical center and close to the magnificent river Main! And then the hotel it self. You are welcomed by an extremely friendly staff. We even got the the possibility to choose the room! great. The room itself, great, spacious and nice bathroom with a good shower. The hotel offers 2 restaurants and especially the one on the top floor is a very nice experience! The menu with wine pairing, where heaven meets earth. The same outstanding experience you have with the breakfast! Excellent!

Facilities are getting old and the street is quite loud at night. However, very close to many nice restaurants and great connections to Straba etc.

As a customer, you don't like to be lied to about the reasons for a "technical alarm". Being woken up at 8am on a Sunday... Someone was smoking -> then that's a FIRE ALARM! And no, there are even detectors (MOST) that can distinguish between smoking and real fire! So, keep kidding yourself, me and my staff will NEVER visit a Flemings AGAIN :-) And about the location: the city of Frankfurt has had the Eschersheimer Tor subway station converted into a homeless shelter, which smells correspondingly "strong"...

Overall, the hotel was good, but I was very disappointed: I chose the hotel for its very nice rooftop bar... but there was a private party that night, so I couldn't get a drink!! 🤬 No goodwill gesture, of course...

A fantastic hotel with a breathtaking rooftop bar on the 7th floor, from which you can see the entire Frankfurt skyline. The hotel also has a functioning paternoster lift, which is a unique feature in itself. The staff was very friendly and competent. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and would definitely return. It's about a 20-25 minute walk from the main train station via Kaiserstrasse.

Actually a great hotel, only when the Pater Noster goes on, the whole room vibrates from 6:30 a.m.

The guy at the reception called Bassel is the rudest person we met in Frankfurt. If you have a problem don’t talk to him, he is not helpful. Instead of this, the room is comfortable and the hotel is really well located.

The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the city with plenty to do nearby, whether it's dining, shopping, or sightseeing. The hotel itself is well-maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms, great amenities, and friendly staff who ensure a smooth stay. Everything from check-in to check-out was seamless, and the overall experience was excellent. Very good location. I've stayed at this hotel several times. The rooms are generally OK, but the room rates vary considerably. This time, I booked at short notice and the price/performance ratio wasn't adequate. The single room did have a modern shower, but it was so small that heavier-set people wouldn't be able to close the door while standing in the shower.

Only the underground car park leaves room for criticism. Please update the directions on the homepage with the house number of the entrance. Otherwise everything was great, although the excellent breakfast buffet deserves a special mention.

We came especially from Koblenz to take the Paternoster. We were allowed to use this without being guests. The breakfast was very varied and the service was excellent. We will come back and stay overnight to visit the restaurant.

While the staff is not unfriendly, they often lack attentiveness and proper training. At breakfast, tables were still uncleared after 9:15 AM, and ordering an omelet felt like an inconvenience for the staff rather than a standard service. Cleanliness is another issue—carpets in both the hallway (3rd floor) and the room were heavily stained. Another downside is the parking fee: €30 per night for hotel guests is unreasonably high, especially compared to the room rate. Conclusion: The hotel has great potential and many strengths, but small details diminish the experience. With better-trained staff and more attention to cleanliness, it could truly be a top destination. It’s a shame that these opportunities are not being fully utilized.

Very nice, tastefully renovated hotel in the 50s/60s style. The staircase and the paternoster elevator are a real experience. The breakfast with a view of the skyline was wonderful, the French toast in particular was amazing. Service, cleanliness and facilities were also great. We had a welcome bottle of water in the room. There is also a Nesprsso machine in the room. The roof top bar is stunning, but not cheap.

The stay was absolutely fabulous. The people at the reception where superkind. The rooms are absolutely marvelous, the orientation of the Hotel is really superb. Middle of the centre! And woaw...the breakfast... Even more, they kept the beauty of its past and re-adapted and integrated lots of those forgotten treasures. Visit Frankfurt then choose this hotel. You will regret only the day after you left to go home :-)

My friends were thrilled, which was a hotel according to their wishes. They had breakfast in the hotel and it was quite filling and good. You can quickly reach the Hauptwache or the Zeil on foot. It was a great time for a few days with my friends. Therefore 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very disappointed with my stay at this establishment. The receptionists were not friendly at all, and on our last day we were in the room and a cleaning lady came in without knocking, I have never seen that in my life!!! Since when do we enter guest rooms without knocking!! These behaviors are not worthy of a hotel and absolutely must be corrected. Sincerely,

Great location for a city trip, breakfast and room tip top Parking in the underground car park 30 euros per day, unfortunately a bit too expensive for hotel guests.

A correct city hotel without outstanding enjoyment. Top location and beautiful view of the skyline from the bar (but only opens at 6 p.m.). Check-in and check-out were pleasant, the room was clean and comfortably furnished. I think the newly introduced idea for the winter of being able to request an extra pillow and a hot water bottle is really magical! The order worked perfectly. Points deducted for failure to clean the rooms. All in all a good price-performance ratio. We'll be back.

Stayed at the Flemings Frankfurt City hotel for 2 nights. The front desk customer service was disappointing and our room was never serviced. Unfortunately, would not come back or recommend.

Within walking distance of the main attractions. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were nice and helpful when recommending things to do. Decided to stay here after feeling unsafe in the area our first hotel was in and was definitely worth spending a little extra!

Staff at reception asked me to pay extra if I want to check in before 2pm but now almost 1pm already , should I ask them tomorrow that I will get some money back or not because I have to check out early at 9am to airport , that‘s 2-3 hours earlier than usual that guest have to check out at 11am or 12 pm . This‘s my 5-6 times that I stay here but no more for next trip !

We spent a wonderful evening at Hotel Flemings. Although there were some difficulties initially - we were initially given the wrong room category - this problem was resolved professionally and we were able to move to the category we had booked. The change was a bit complicated, but in the end the effort was worth it. The new rooms were very nice and comfortable, and we felt completely at home there. We found the paternoster elevator particularly impressive, which combines a touch of nostalgia with modern comfort. The hotel's culinary offerings are also worth highlighting. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. The variety and quality of the dishes were top notch. Another highlight was the fantastic view of the city, which perfectly rounded off our stay. All in all, a recommended hotel for a special stay. 4/5 stars (minus for the initial booking error).

Somehow I feel that this hotel.does not deserves the full 5 stars of our ratings. But this city is diamond and this place of the city is magnificent. Nearby is the very historic tower of the old, medieval gate of the Free City of Frankfurt, which, as I remember, was built in 1426-1428, and miraculously reached us almost unchanged. There is now a famous small restaurant. Now, the veranda on the 7th floor of this hotel looks out over this part of the city and this magnificent tower. Breakfast was delicious. Our room was nice. Although there were problems with the electronic key card. We changed them 3 times. And the staff downstairs, I don't know why, but sometimes was kind of unpleasant. On the first day, we opened the middle aluminum window to ventilate the room, but then we could not close it in any way. We asked downstairs and they in our absence (from our permission) corrected this. I believe that the price for overall such a good hotel in such a part of the city is not very big.

The location is super central, the house has been very tastefully renovated, the rooms are large, beautifully designed and clean, the reception is super friendly and attentive. Delicious breakfast, everything your heart could desire, I would have liked to give it 5 stars, but the staff in the bar in the evening seemed to me to be quite overwhelmed with the conference guests, we two ladies were probably not important enough..... we hardly received any attention. Unfortunately, the staff at breakfast was also very inattentive. Egg dishes are freshly prepared, which were delicious, but you have to order them at the table from the service. It was very difficult to order this. Unfortunately we also had to get the coffee ourselves, which was excellent... nothing was cleared away and we weren't even asked what we wanted. It's a shame, we're leaving tomorrow, but I would still recommend the hotel and book it again if necessary, maybe we had a bad time.

The hotel has completely exorbitant prices. When checking in, the reception was overwhelmed and it took 20 minutes before I could check in. The access to the underground car park is extremely narrow and the vehicles are parked on top of each other and lifting platforms are used. I definitely wouldn't stay there a second time. Overall, the infrastructure no longer fits today.

Nice hotel, but unfortunately the rooms at the front are very noisy, especially from cars - but also even more intense when there are fire departments, police, RTW... 3rd floor. Another room in the back yard was very quiet.

Worth a stay for the special elevator. Make sure you get a room high up and facing out (despite traffic noise) as the air temperature control doesn't seem to do much and is very loud. If you take breakfast, grab a waiter and order right away unless you have plenty of time...

Unpleasant stay of 4 nights booked for my wife and my daughter from 4th Jan to 8th Jan. Want to know why? Sharing our experience here so you can make your own decision when booking with this hotel with some terrible staffs and service. First, the pictures used for superior king room booked in booking.con is completely different with the room been given. Asked Receiption and been told their rooms are all the same. Second, housekeep changed sheet but put my daughter and my wife’s pyjamas on the floor!!! Yes, they put our pyjamas on the floor, not on our bed we left. Disgusting We want to tell anyone want to book this hotel, the location is good. But the service and their staffs are terrible. Maybe we are unlucky to meet those staffs but we want share with anyone saw this before you make your decision to choose this hotel. It’s a unpleasant stay cost us over 900 euro, not worth it if want to have a happy city break in Frankfurt. Not recommend at all.

I stayed in the hotel with my daughter for four days because it was close to the opera. Our room was on the 6th floor with a view of the skyline. There were benches by the windows which were comfortable. The room was large and finally had enough space for two women's band accessories. The shower is a dream, the toilet is separate and there is a plant in the room. Then super delicious teas and coffees on top. A welcome bottle of water. The breakfast was great. Egg dishes and coffee specialties are finally served fresh. We are from Italy and attach great importance to it. The staff and the Pater Noster are first class. We assume a high standard. A hotel in a very good location, at the same door there is a metro station, in a 5-minute walk you are in the center. There are places to eat around the hotel. The rooms are spacious and the reception was friendly, they have private parking at the same hotel for a hotel fee. The truth is that a recommendable hotel.

I spent the night here today with my fiancée and to be honest we were treated completely condescendingly As soon as I came in, I got the look from the old woman at the reception and I can already imagine why full beard, broadly built, thick arms, 22 years old, gold rolex on with his pearl there and in a bomba jacket after the rude reception, yes tourism fee!!! What kind of thing? Yes we take tourism fee!! I'm not a tourist!!! Yes, it is noted everywhere on the invoice!!!! I get the invoice and there is no mention of it anywhere in the booking confirmation Eyes are rolled, I say yes, come on, I'll pay, get the money out, ask how much? On the screen I see 80€ wait a minute 10 20 30€ okay 80€ the lady I paid 100€ for the room you want 80% fee you could have written it down somewhere yes we have!! NOT!!! And then payment is only possible with a card without cash, no sense in the end we were let into the room. Shower cubicle door broken. Mold between the cracks in the tiles To be honest, I'd rather pay €300 for a night somewhere else than be ripped off here because if you don't note something like that and ask for money, it's a rip-off

AVOID! When I arrived I was given a room with a broken window above a busy street. The room I moved to had stained carpet, and the refrigerator, telephone and air conditioning didn’t work, but I was in town for a busy conference and decided to ignore these issues. This morning I found the lock on my door had failed—when, I do not know. Anyone could just have walked in at any time. I was told that the batteries sometimes need recharging on the door locks, or they fail. I’m sorry, what?! While the staff has been very kind and helpful with moving rooms and responding swiftly, this is an absolutely shocking level of security. As a single woman traveling alone, I recommend you absolutely AVOID the Flemings Selection Hotel in Frankfurt.

Super great location, very well maintained and beautiful hotel, the roof terrace with restaurant/breakfast area is a highlight. Breakfast is multi-faceted with everything you like and is beautifully presented with a lot of love. Large breakfast buffet so there is no crowding. Wonderful stay, especially with the very comfortable bed and the great room.

Extremely disappointed, no smile on arrival, no more unfriendly departure, room not responding to the reservation, we had requested a double room and we were presented with the fait accompli of a twin room without price reduction. We are really excited about the hotel, the old charm is perfectly integrated into the modern. The rooftop bar is a hit, we had an incredible view of the Frankfurt skyline. The location of the hotel is very central, short distances to Zeil, Römer… etc. There is a subway station right in front of the hotel and an S-Bahn station very close by, so we had a good choice of means of transport to get around (and the car could stay parked). We also really liked our room , everything we needed was there. Since we only arrived in the evening, the hotel parking garage was unfortunately already occupied. But it wasn't a problem as there are several parking garages nearby (about 200m). The only point we complain about is the service in the rooftop bar. The staff was very friendly, but we had to wait a long time for our order in the evenings and mornings. Cups, bowls, etc. were often missing at breakfast and the staff couldn't keep up. It was also unfortunate that we weren't allowed into the rooftop bar for a quick drink at 12:30 a.m. (it's open until 1:00 a.m.). In summary: We enjoyed our stay and would book the same hotel again.

A nice hotel for business people mainly with an excellent location, close to metro stations and also to the mall and Hazeil Street. The rooms are beautiful and quite spacious, the shower overlooks the room. There is incoming noise (not excessive) coming from the street. In the lobby there are many rooms for meetings of business people. The elevators are small and a bit slow. The hotel has a restaurant on the 7th floor with a very rich breakfast and a beautiful view, in the evening the restaurant also offers excellent food. The gym is half under renovation and is not well equipped and sucks to train in, that's why I put 3 in the service.

My sister and I were completely satisfied with everything. Very good location, nice room, great view, everything clean, delicious and varied breakfast, nice staff. So a 10/10.

We had a lovely weekend with two nights in the hotel. The location is perfect. The room and its furnishings were also very well equipped and large enough. The windows are perfectly soundproofed. From there you can quickly reach the Zeil on foot and also easily travel in other directions. What I can definitely recommend is the sightseeing tour with the buses, even if they are very expensive. And then of course the trip to the Main Tower.

Ate in the restaurant upstairs. Look fantastic! Cocktail bad, 16 €, food quality good, but service very unfriendly. No tip given.

It was my first time traveling alone with my son and the people at the hotel made the stay wonderful. Great room, great recommendations for Frankfurt. Since I was there on a Sunday and the restaurant in the hotel was closed, there was a tip for a pizza nearby. It was awesome. The next morning at breakfast they proactively offered chocolate milk. a 2 year old was really happy. We'll be back - THANK YOU

Excellent hotel. We enjoyed our stay. Appreciate the option to have every other day room service although I ask for daily service. Room was cleaned well daily and appreciated the water and coffee provided. Water with orange/lemon at lobby was appreciated. Breakfast was expensive so we did not partake.

One of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. Not everyday and very human. The breakfast is great with a great view on top. Without exception, the people who work here were naturally friendly. I didn't notice many hotels. But definitely that!

Nice hotel, maybe not the most modern look overall but still good. Our room was large and beautifully furnished. You have a great view from the top and the staff was always friendly. The paternoster is awesome. Perfect location.

Breakfast and staff are great, there is still room for reservations. Otherwise I like being there.

I was invited to a wedding reception here and it was simply excellent and delicious. The service was very friendly and professional. At the bar (at a later hour) the young bartenders shouldn't be quite so snooty. Being friendly and charming is better received. The waiting time was also too long for a drink/cocktail, as there was more chatting with young ladies and with each other, 20 minutes... There is still something to learn, gentlemen.

Alexandra made every effort to accommodate my request, ensuring I could stay in that specific room. Having traveled to over 52 countries, I can confidently say this was some of the best service I have ever experienced.

The whole experience was just magnificent. From the welcome to the room and the geographical location. I highly recommend this hotel for both business travel and leisure.

Very important location and friendly staff

I received a friendly welcome, check-in went smoothly and the nice ladies at reception were all friendly and helpful. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast or restaurant offerings. The hotel is fairly close to the Zeil and therefore easily accessible on foot. I will definitely book here again on my next stay in Frankfurt.

Reception are brilliant! Always so lovely and helpful. The rooftop restaurant is beautiful. Rooms are lovely. If you're a tea lover, you could ask for a kettle at Reception. Downside is no room service or standard restaurant food from Sunday to Wednesday. There is a restaurant downstairs but it's not part of the hotel. I don't think this is great. But hey, there's always takeaway or dining out! I'd definitely stay a third time.

One point for location. The rooms are terribly dirty. Everything needs repair. There is dust under the beds, it feels like no one ever cleans there. Old stains on the floors, dirty glasses, mold in the shower. Broken shower stall. Yesterday we changed the number to another one, but it turned out to be exactly the same. I think this is the dirtiest hotel I've been to in a long time

The hotel is in an excellent starting position for a weekend trip to Frankfurt. You can reach almost everything on foot, the subway is right outside the door. Without exception, the hotel staff was extremely courteous and friendly and responded to all requests. The parking garage is also very convenient. You can also leave the car parked on the day of departure. You pay for the number of nights spent there. The breakfast with a view over Frankfurt is unique. I think the bar upstairs would also be an experience in the evening, but we were there. There isn't much that is disadvantageous. You can tell that the building is a bit older - but that didn't bother us, and the rest more than compensates for it. I would have appreciated it if there was a toilet in the lobby area - so you either have to go to your room or take the (long) route through the bar down to the basement. The hotel is located at a large intersection, so if you want to sleep with the window open, you should get a room at the back. We would be happy to come back at any time. It was a dream!

A great hotel in an excellent location in Frankfurt. The rooms look modern and are clean. The reception is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is on the 7th floor with a great view of the skyline. However, the service at breakfast was not good - the table was not cleared and no orders were taken. This should be reworked.

A very nice hotel. Absolutely close to the city and the subway on the doorstep. At breakfast on the 8th floor you have a brilliant view of the city with its skyscrapers. Breakfast was very good and in the evening you can find a restaurant and a rooftop bar in the same place. Wonderful view. The room was clean and big enough. Bed was comfortable. All in all, we'll be back. Close to the Old Opera!!

All I can really say is that this hotel was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. We arrived very late in the evening and were very well received. We were particularly well served by the employee Hermat Al Safadi and would like to express our heartfelt thanks again. We would be happy to come back and recommend you again!

One of the highlights of my stay was experiencing the breathtaking views from the Occhio Doro rooftop restaurant, located on the roof of the hotel. The panoramic vistas of the Frankfurt skyline resembled something out of Dubai, providing a mesmerizing backdrop for enjoying delicious food, impeccable service, and expertly crafted cocktails. The fact that the full continental breakfast is served there every morning was a delightful bonus, allowing me to start my day with a stunning view and a sumptuous meal. Staying at the Fleming Selection Hotel is simply exceptional. From the outstanding service to the luxurious amenities and stunning views, every aspect of my stay surpassed my expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and indulgent stay in Frankfurt.
