Gemütliche, beruhigende Atmosphäre. Die Nähe zu einer belebten Straße war zwar vorhanden, aber das spielte keine Rolle mehr. Das Essen war hervorragend und köstlich. Die Räumlichkeiten waren sauber und der Service unaufdringlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Das Essen ist einfach fantastisch. Authentische iranische Küche voller Geschmack. Das Personal ist unglaublich aufmerksam und sorgt dafür, dass man rundum zufrieden ist. Ich bin aus Los Angeles zu Besuch und habe den Soltani-Teller bestellt – er war unglaublich lecker! Das hat meine Reise nach Frankfurt absolut gelohnt. Geht bloß nirgendwo anders hin, das ist jetzt die einzige Adresse für erstklassige iranische Küche in Frankfurt.

Ich habe das Restaurant Shandis besucht und bin leider sehr enttäuscht. Der Kebab war sehr trocken und hatte kaum Geschmack. Was mich besonders gestört hat: Das Hähnchen (Joojeh) wird nur mit einem Spieß serviert. Üblicherweise ist es in vergleichbaren Restaurants Standard, zwei Spieße zu servieren. Die Preise sind für die gebotene Qualität und den Service insgesamt viel zu hoch angesetzt.

Besonders die Kebabs, der Safranreis und die traditionellen persischen Gerichte sind hervorragend zubereitet. Dazu kommt ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service sowie eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich hier immer willkommen. Das Restaurant Schandis macht auf den ersten Blick wirklich viel her. Das Ambiente ist sehr schick, innen stilvoll eingerichtet mit schönen Leuchtern, Blumen und liebevoll gedeckten Tischen mit Tischdecken. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein.
Das Essen ist handwerklich einwandfrei und auch ansprechend angerichtet. Geschmacklich gut, aber insgesamt für meinen Geschmack etwas zu zurückhaltend. Es fehlt ein wenig der letzte Pfiff, der aus gutem Essen etwas Besonderes macht. Insgesamt ein schöner Besuch in tollem Umfeld, kulinarisch solide, aber mit Luft nach oben.

Eines der besten persischen Restaurants in Deutschland. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und der Service hervorragend. Das Essen mit seinen frischen Zutaten ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir waren, während der Heimtextil Messe (sprich Allgemein viel los) und ohne Reservierung, mit einer größeren Gruppe im Schandis. Einen Tisch zu bekommen war wohl unser Glück, denn das Restaurant war sehr schnell bis auf den letzten Platz belegt. Und das hat auch seinen gerechten Grund! Wir haben den Abend vom ersten Moment an in vollen Zügen genossen. Der Service ist super zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und freundlich und das Essen außergewöhnlich lecker! Mich persönlich hat besonders der gemischte Vorspeisenteller überzeugt, aber auch die Hauptgänge waren durchweg köstlich. Tolle Aromen, perfekt abgestimmt. Einfach sehr sehr lecker! Wir hatten für 20 Personen Catering bestellt, ein Abendessen mit unterschiedlichen Vorspeisen, Schmorgerichten, Fleisch vom Spieß und Desserts. An der uns vorgeschlagenen Auswahl haben wir kaum etwas verändert, hatten vegetarische Gerichte dazu genommen. Die Speisen waren ausserordentlich schmackhaft, wunderschön angerichtet und haben köstlich geduftet!…schon allein der Reis ist wunderbar. Unsere Gäste waren hoch zufrieden und hatten ihre Freude daran, wir haben uns diesen Abend zurecht etwas kosten lassen.

Das Essen ist exzellent, die Räumlichkeiten jedoch leider beengt. Um Platz zu sparen und mehr Gäste bewirten zu können, wurden einige Tische direkt in den Eingangsbereich gestellt. Neuankömmlinge stehen somit direkt neben dem Teller, solange sie darauf warten, von der Bedienung an ihre Plätze gesetzt zu werden. Davon abgesehen ist der Besuch sehr lohnenswert. Das Personal ist schnell und professionell, das Essen ausgezeichnet, die Weinkarte erlesen. Wir gehen regelmäßig dort essen. Da auch andere Gäste zu diesem Schluss kommen, ist eine Platzreservierung unumgänglich.

Seit Wiedereröffnung ein gehobenes Restaurant mit ausgezeichnetem Service. Dennoch sind die Preise absolut akzeptabel. Die Speisen sind allesamt sehr lecker. Sehr geeignet für ein schönes Abendessen.

Schandis Restaurant in Frankfurt's Nordend district is a beautiful restaurant with a truly high standard of service and ambiance. The staff is very attentive. However, the food doesn't live up to this philosophy. It's bland and lacks any real sense of Persian cuisine, which is known for its rich and diverse flavors. Almost all of my colleagues ordered lamb stews, but none of them were eaten with any enthusiasm. One colleague even spent the night eating, resulting in numerous trips to the bathroom. A real shame. Parking is scarce in the immediate vicinity. The restaurant was very busy. Perhaps our meal was an exception.

I recently visited Schandis Restaurant in Frankfurt and was absolutely delighted. The ambiance is warm, stylish, and elegant – perfect for a cozy evening or a special dinner. The decor combines traditional Persian elements with a modern flair, creating an instantly inviting atmosphere. The cuisine is simply superb: Every dish impresses with fresh ingredients, authentic spices, and meticulous preparation. I was particularly impressed by the variety of Persian classics – from delicious appetizers to tender grilled kebabs and aromatic saffron rice. Everything was perfectly seasoned and a true culinary experience.

It was the best experience in an Iranian restaurant though I am Iranian and lived in Iran for many years. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was spectacular. Staff were very friendly and professional. Definitely recommend it. If you want to keep in within a low budget don’t go for appetizers and deserts. The food itself is fairly priced.

It was a culinary experience in the best possible way. We shared the mixed appetizer platter and the mixed dessert platter. For my main course, I tried a lamb dish. The lamb was incredibly tender and delicious. I highly recommend the mixed platters. It was like a flavor journey and absolutely scrumptious.

I will thank whoever recommended it to me. It is truly one of the most delicious restaurants in Frankfurt, without a doubt. The food is very delicious, the hospitality is generous, and the atmosphere is pleasant. One shouldn't go there hungry. The grilled dishes taste good, and among the Persian restaurants in Frankfurt, Schandiz and its two affiliated restaurants (Babam and Maman) serve the best, but also the most expensive, Persian food in town. However, the rice portions have become very small over time. It's very unusual for a Persian restaurant to serve so little rice. The owner expects you to order more rice (for €6). Given the prices they charge, they should either be more generous and not serve children's portions or not charge an extra €6. I had recommended Schandiz to my friends and praised it highly. Unfortunately, my seven guests and I were very surprised by the small portion of rice we received. It's unacceptable to pay €35 for a meal and receive a child's portion of rice. The staff is always friendly and polite, but perhaps they should receive better training regarding table setting if they consider their restaurant to be upscale. 😊 کبابهای شاندیز و بابام و مامان که همه مطعلق به یک شخص هستند در فرانکفورت بهترینه ولی مقدار برنجی که .تو شاندیز سرو میشه واسه سیر کردن گنجشک کافیه نمیشه واسه یک سلطانی ۳۳ یورو ویا واسه ششلیک ۳۵ یورو پول گرفت و چهار قاشق برنج سرو کرد.

I've been coming here for 20 years. I now live in Zurich and occasionally go to Schandis for dinner. Since the redesign, not only the interior but also the food has been further improved. The service is also very professional. Always a true pleasure.

I reserved a table for two people at very short notice. The confirmation via email came immediately! My small special request for a "nice" table for a "birthday dinner" was perfectly fulfilled! All the servers were very friendly and extremely polite. The appetizer was served quickly, as were the drinks and the starter. At €28 for two people, this is "ambitious," but worth every penny, as it offers so much variety and is incredibly delicious! We were also served a hearty "greeting from the kitchen." The two main courses arrived promptly, and the waiter explained very kindly and informatively what they were during the service! All in all, a truly lovely "birthday evening," in a pleasant, quiet atmosphere, with very attentive staff and delicious Persian food. We'll be back, Robert & Mia

Simply perfect all around – from the food to the service to the tour. A delight every time and a wonderful experience time and time again!

We walked in without reservation and we got so lucky to have a table. We stayed till late in the evening and the staff was very fine with it. First of all - the food is AMAZING!!!! The starters are to die for. First of all the plate looks so tasteful, second of all each bite is exceptionally tasty but at the same time feels like a “mom” prepared it with so much care. The meat is crazy fresh, juicy and full of flavour. And the fresh bread with free starter plate is really a great gesture. Additionally - the service was EXCEPTIONAL, so kind, so attentive and so clean !!! They even opened the door and walked us out like a proper host. Finally- the atmosphere is very cosy and pleasant. I’d eat every single time I am in Frankfurt. And to be fair price is totally fair for the quality, taste and service.

For starters, we chose the appetizer platter, which was beautifully decorated and delicious. For our main course, we had the classic Kubide. The restaurant was very attentive and accommodated our request to share a plate, serving it directly on two plates. Very delicious.

No matter how good the food is, the prices shouldn't be that different from other places. A kubbede in another place in Frankfurt is 14 euros and the rest of the food is. We celebrated our civil wedding with 25 guests at Schandis last weekend, and it was simply perfect! Even beforehand, communication with the owner was very pleasant and uncomplicated. On the day itself, we received a warm welcome and excellent service. The entire team was incredibly friendly, attentive, and took great care of even the smallest detail. We chose a delicious three-course menu, which completely delighted all our guests. The lovingly prepared appetizer platter was a particular highlight – varied and delicious. The main course (especially the tender lamb) was also particularly praised by many of our guests – the meat was cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned. We are very grateful for this thoroughly successful day and can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant – whether for a private celebration or simply a special evening with good food and warm service. Many thanks to the entire team and especially to the owner, Masud Agha, who implemented our wishes flawlessly. We will definitely be back.

One of the best restaurants in Frankfurt

5 stars because I ate the best Persian food in Germany here. I've been to many good restaurants, but here every dish was truly outstanding. Of course, there were also a few weaknesses: The waiting time after ordering was almost an hour, which is quite long. The rice portion was rather small for a Persian dish. The prices were about 15-20% higher compared to other Persian restaurants. But ultimately the quality of the food is the most important thing - and it was excellent.

Schon allein die Präsentation der einzelnen Gänge war toll - das Auge isst mit! Und dieser optische Eindruck wurde bei jedem Gang geschmacklich mehr als übertroffen. Eine tolle Aromatik sowie eine hervorragende Qualität der Zutaten! Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt absolut! Ein Abend wie er nicht besser hätte sein können!

The food was super tasty but the portions in this restaurant are really small! When you compare it with other Persian restaurants in Frankfurt, quality and price are same but portions are super small! The restaurant is kinda small and cozy with friendly staff.

For us, the Shandiz restaurant is the best Persian restaurant in Frankfurt. As soon as you enter, you are impressed by the elegant and stylish furnishings, which create a welcoming atmosphere. You immediately feel at home here. The food is simply excellent, every dish is freshly prepared and served with great attention to detail. The flavors are perfectly balanced and the quality of the ingredients is noticeably first-class. A real taste experience every time! The service also deserves high praise. The host and his team are extremely attentive, polite and accommodating. You will be warmly welcomed and well looked after. If you want to enjoy authentic, excellent Persian cuisine in an elegant ambience, you should definitely stop by here. We always enjoy coming back ❤️

Das Restaurant ist einfach TOLL, tolle Atmosphäre, super schön eingerichtet, Tische toll eingedeckt....... SUPER FEINES Essen (wir haben das 3-Gang Menü à 55,-- gegessen - verschiedene Vorspeisen, verschiedene Hauptgerichte (sehr flexible, auch Vegetarisch möglich) und danach ein Dessertauswahl)..... und dazu noch ein toller, kompetenter Service .... wo findet man das noch ?? War alles TOLL

We came from Cologne and ate Persian for the first time, it was worth it from start to finish. Very nice advice and explanations of the dishes, very familiar and warm atmosphere!

After a long time I visited this restaurant again. As a Persian who has visited many Persian restaurants in Europe and even in Iran, I can only say that this restaurant is simply the best in all respects! Both the quality of the food and the design were top! Service staff very friendly and attentive! Perfect. The prices are of course around 3 to 4 euros more expensive for food, which was ok for me if there was nothing to complain about!

For me, Schandis is by far the best restaurant in Frankfurt! I've tried many other places, but I always come to the conclusion that this one is simply unbeatable. I've been eating out regularly at least once a month for years and it's never been disappointing. The quality of the food is consistently excellent - always delicious, no matter when. The service is always top: everyone is extremely friendly and accommodating. The ambience is perfect for enjoying a relaxing evening. Be it starters, main courses, side dishes or desserts – everything is simply delicious. You can tell that the work here is done with a lot of love and dedication. An all-round great experience that I always enjoy!
