The food was super tasty but the portions in this restaurant are really small! When you compare it with other Persian restaurants in Frankfurt, quality and price are same but portions are super small! The restaurant is kinda small and cozy with friendly staff.

For us, the Shandiz restaurant is the best Persian restaurant in Frankfurt. As soon as you enter, you are impressed by the elegant and stylish furnishings, which create a welcoming atmosphere. You immediately feel at home here. The food is simply excellent, every dish is freshly prepared and served with great attention to detail. The flavors are perfectly balanced and the quality of the ingredients is noticeably first-class. A real taste experience every time! The service also deserves high praise. The host and his team are extremely attentive, polite and accommodating. You will be warmly welcomed and well looked after. If you want to enjoy authentic, excellent Persian cuisine in an elegant ambience, you should definitely stop by here. We always enjoy coming back ❤️

Das Restaurant ist einfach TOLL, tolle Atmosphäre, super schön eingerichtet, Tische toll eingedeckt....... SUPER FEINES Essen (wir haben das 3-Gang Menü à 55,-- gegessen - verschiedene Vorspeisen, verschiedene Hauptgerichte (sehr flexible, auch Vegetarisch möglich) und danach ein Dessertauswahl)..... und dazu noch ein toller, kompetenter Service .... wo findet man das noch ?? We came from Cologne and ate Persian for the first time, it was worth it from start to finish. Very nice advice and explanations of the dishes, very familiar and warm atmosphere!

After a long time I visited this restaurant again. As a Persian who has visited many Persian restaurants in Europe and even in Iran, I can only say that this restaurant is simply the best in all respects! Both the quality of the food and the design were top! Service staff very friendly and attentive! Perfect. The prices are of course around 3 to 4 euros more expensive for food, which was ok for me if there was nothing to complain about!

For me, Schandis is by far the best restaurant in Frankfurt! I've tried many other places, but I always come to the conclusion that this one is simply unbeatable. I've been eating out regularly at least once a month for years and it's never been disappointing. The quality of the food is consistently excellent - always delicious, no matter when. The service is always top: everyone is extremely friendly and accommodating. The ambience is perfect for enjoying a relaxing evening. Be it starters, main courses, side dishes or desserts – everything is simply delicious. You can tell that the work here is done with a lot of love and dedication. An all-round great experience that I always enjoy!

By far the best Persian restaurant I have ever visited! It's just a shame that I don't live in Frankfurt - otherwise I would be a regular. Küche und Service sind wie immer hervorragend – eine Reservierung ist unbedingt zu empfehlen, da das Lokal sehr gut besucht ist. Für mich bleibt das Schandis eine Top-Adresse für persische Küche im Rhein-Main-Gebiet.

I've been visiting the Schandis for 20 years now and was there again after a long break - and I'm thrilled! The extensively renovated interior now appears much more elegant and impressively underlines the claim to be one of the best Persian restaurants in the Rhine-Main area. The cuisine and service are as always at the highest level: authentic, excellently prepared dishes and attentive, warm service. Be sure to reserve in good time - the restaurant was filled to capacity. An absolute recommendation for anyone who appreciates Persian hospitality and cuisine.

A great experience of Iranian culture and cuisine. Excellent quality of service and extremely friendly staff. Excellent quality starters and drinks. Delicious tahdig and homemade doogh were a highlight. The starters and main courses were served with attractive presentation and very good quality. It may not have been the best Koobideh kebab in Germany, but overall it was the best experience in an Iranian restaurant in Germany for me. If we come back to Frankfurt, we will definitely return to Restaurant Schandis.

When you experience the competent, discreet, fast and super friendly guest-orientated service, you start to realise, you are in a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️restaurant. After you enjoyed the delicous offerings, that make your tastebudds dance tango and samba at the same time and experienced the fine herbs and spices of the persian cuisine, you know, this is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Of course, the prices are a bit upscale, but definitely worth every penny! If you are looking for a special dinner in elegant atmosphere with extraordanary cuisine, this is the place to go!

The Schandis is the best Persian restaurant I know. If I want to go out for a fancy and delicious meal with someone, Schandis is definitely my first choice. You can always rely on the ambience, service and food. Even when reserving a table, the employees try very hard to fulfill the customer's wishes. The food, especially the meat, is of very good quality. The spices are perfectly balanced so that the food is simply delicious. The service is attentive and what I particularly like is how quietly and carefully they work. The ambience was brought out of the rather small restaurant as best as possible with attention to detail. It's great that there is such a stylish and delicious restaurant in Frankfurt!

The rice tasted like oil and the food was very little at the price of thirty five euros, we heard the voice of one of the waiters saying why they don't go.

I made a reservation for dinner with my family and we had to leave because the waitress simply ignored our requests and never served us! She gave the menus and left. She also waited on every table around us except ours. my husband called her several times but he was ignored. and one of them doesn't speak English, in 2024 this is unacceptable. I live in Dubai and have never experienced so much embarrassment. I've been traveling in Germany for 1 month and this was the worst restaurant!

Were in the renovated and newly designed restaurant for the first time today. It's very classy and chic! But the team is also very friendly, very attentive, fast and competent. The food and especially the starters are very good, as is the wine. The prices have risen significantly compared to before! But also the quality and the ambience. With a bit of luck you can find a parking space. Free on weekends.

We went to this restaurant last night and were disappointed. Some tables for two people are small and uncomfortable. I ask myself why ? And service was overwhelmed and unfocused last night. I can't recommend it. Another comment mentioned something about “racial profiling”. That's how we felt here too. We had reserved a table for 9:30 p.m., but were then asked to go to the tables outside. It should be obvious that at this time of year it should be clear that you have only reserved one table for inside. There were even free tables inside. We were the only ones outside, it wasn't exactly warm, the door inside was closed and it completely felt as if we had been deliberately excluded. We were then ignored for 10 minutes and not served. Then we just left. I have never experienced a situation like this in my life. I can absolutely recommend the restaurant to no one.

The food was inedible! Djuje raw and not grilled. Tomatoes raw and not grilled! The rice not steamed! No butter, just cheap oil! No onion! Very expensive for the very poor quantity! The food was served in huge plates with very little content! They're pretending to be a star restaurant now! Never again!

We were there for the first time with four people. Personally, I had no previous experience with Persian dishes. So the very friendly waiter recommended the menu to us. Basically a cross-section of Persian cuisine. That was the best decision. The food was simply A+ with stars... The service from everyone involved was beyond reproach. We planned our travel route from Colorado to Europe to include a stopover in Frankfurt to be sure we had a chance to eat at Shandis. We ate at Babam the year before and met Masoud who was an absolute gem. Our dinner at Shandis remains one of our best meals in our 5 week travel through Germany,Italy and France. We talked about our meal so many times- We are already planning another trip so we can visit all 3 of their restaurants . Hands down the best Persian food we have come across. Very nice place for a high-end business or private dinner. The meat is high-quality (and halal). The ambience is calm and comfortable. If you have a large party it may takes a bit of time for food to be served but the quality of the food is good. Happy to return.

Jahrestag im edlen Schandis gefeiert am 30.12.23. Der älteste Perser in Frankfurt ( seit 1999 ) ist gleichzeitig auch immer noch der Beste. Allein die Atmosphäre mit der ruhigen Musik im Hintergrund und der stilvollen Einrichtung macht das Ausgehen im Schandis jedesmal zu etwas Besonderem. Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich und berät einen hervorragend zu Speisen und Weinen. Wir hatten Kubideh mit Lamm und Huhn und als Beilage persichen Juwelenreis. Als Vorspeise gab es Käse mit Oliven in Granatapfel und Walnusssauce. Beides sehr lecker und ausreichend. Das Schandis ist immer wieder ein Highlight auf das man sich freut.

5/5 Sterne - Das Essen ist auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Das Servicepersonal führt einen, wenn gewünscht, durch die persische Küche und ist stets aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich wertgeschätzt und gut aufgehoben.
