Every bite was a delight. The dishes were perfectly seasoned and prepared, and the flavors were rich and authentic. I found the variety and quality of the food particularly impressive. Every dish I tried was a culinary highlight. Service: The service at Schandis was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. They made sure we didn't lack anything. I made a reservation for dinner with my family and we had to leave because the waitress simply ignored our requests and never served us! She gave the menus and left. She also waited on every table around us except ours. my husband called her several times but he was ignored. and one of them doesn't speak English, in 2024 this is unacceptable. I live in Dubai and have never experienced so much embarrassment. I've been traveling in Germany for 1 month and this was the worst restaurant!

Were in the renovated and newly designed restaurant for the first time today. It's very classy and chic! But the team is also very friendly, very attentive, fast and competent. The food and especially the starters are very good, as is the wine. The prices have risen significantly compared to before! But also the quality and the ambience. With a bit of luck you can find a parking space. Free on weekends.

I can't recommend it. Another comment mentioned something about “racial profiling”. That's how we felt here too. We had reserved a table for 9:30 p.m., but were then asked to go to the tables outside. It should be obvious that at this time of year it should be clear that you have only reserved one table for inside. There were even free tables inside. We were the only ones outside, it wasn't exactly warm, the door inside was closed and it completely felt as if we had been deliberately excluded. We were then ignored for 10 minutes and not served. Then we just left. I have never experienced a situation like this in my life. I can absolutely recommend the restaurant to no one.

The food was inedible! Djuje raw and not grilled. Tomatoes raw and not grilled! The rice not steamed! No butter, just cheap oil! No onion! Very expensive for the very poor quantity! The food was served in huge plates with very little content! They're pretending to be a star restaurant now! Never again!

Very nice place for a high-end business or private dinner. The meat is high-quality (and halal). The ambience is calm and comfortable. If you have a large party it may takes a bit of time for food to be served but the quality of the food is good. Happy to return.

We were there for the first time with four people. Personally, I had no previous experience with Persian dishes. So the very friendly waiter recommended the menu to us. Basically a cross-section of Persian cuisine. That was the best decision. The food was simply A+ with stars... The service from everyone involved was beyond reproach. We planned our travel route from Colorado to Europe to include a stopover in Frankfurt to be sure we had a chance to eat at Shandis. We ate at Babam the year before and met Masoud who was an absolute gem. Our dinner at Shandis remains one of our best meals in our 5 week travel through Germany,Italy and France. We talked about our meal so many times- We are already planning another trip so we can visit all 3 of their restaurants . Hands down the best Persian food we have come across. Jahrestag im edlen Schandis gefeiert am 30.12.23. Der älteste Perser in Frankfurt ( seit 1999 ) ist gleichzeitig auch immer noch der Beste. Allein die Atmosphäre mit der ruhigen Musik im Hintergrund und der stilvollen Einrichtung macht das Ausgehen im Schandis jedesmal zu etwas Besonderem. Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich und berät einen hervorragend zu Speisen und Weinen. Wir hatten Kubideh mit Lamm und Huhn und als Beilage persichen Juwelenreis. Als Vorspeise gab es Käse mit Oliven in Granatapfel und Walnusssauce. Beides sehr lecker und ausreichend. Das Schandis ist immer wieder ein Highlight auf das man sich freut.

5/5 Sterne - Das Essen ist auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Das Servicepersonal führt einen, wenn gewünscht, durch die persische Küche und ist stets aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich wertgeschätzt und gut aufgehoben.

Schandis begeisterte uns mit einem exquisiten 3-Gänge-Menü. Die Vorspeisenplatte übertraf alle Erwartungen, die Grillspieße waren zart und saftig, begleitet von einem geschmorten Gericht voller Nostalgie.Das Dessert war eine authentische Verkörperung iranischer Süßspeisen. Der Service war herzlich und aufmerksam, das Timing zwischen den Gängen perfekt abgestimmt. Vielen Dank ans Schandis Team!

Ich war zum ersten Mal in Schandis, dieses Restaurant ist nicht zu toppen. Es war einfach toll, so ein persisches Essen hatte ich schon lange nicht mehr, man kann es bestimmt sagen, dass das Essen so gut ist wie im Iran, wenn nicht sogar besser. Die Bedienung war ebenfalls 1A, sehr aufmerksam, höflich und sehr professionell. Auf jedenfalls sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Wir waren zu Zweit am Sonntag Abend im Schandis und hatten eine gemischte Vorspeise und Geschmortes als Hauptgericht. Beides war vorzüglich. Sehr gute Qualität und außergewöhnlicher Geschmack. Auch der Service war perfekt. Das Restaurant hat eine angenehme und niveauvolle Atmosphäre. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Inwieweit die persische Küche, die im Schandis angeboten wird, authentisch ist, kann ich mangels Vorerfahrung in den jeweiligen Ländern natürlich nicht beurteilen. Wir haben als Paar jedenfalls einen sehr schönen Abend in diesem Lokal verbracht. Angefangen vom angenehmen und gepflegten Ambiente, dem sehr aufmerksamen Personal über den schön eingedeckten Tisch bis zu einem sehr guten Essen (einmal Lammfilet, einmal Auberginen) und einem reellen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Es wird sicherlich nicht bei einem Besuch bleiben.

Weiße Tischdecke, Blühblumentopf, Deckenlüster, Einrichtung, Terrasse: Alles sehr attraktiv. Das Personal ist betont freundlich. Aber das (relativ) preisgünstige Mittagsangebot ist langweilig gewürzt und weckt keine Neugierde auf die recht teure Abendkarte - keine Werbung für das Etablissement. Die lieblos als Wartezeit-Füller auf einen Teller gelegten Kräuter wären besser zum Aufpeppen der Gerichte geeignet. - Kein Tipp für Vegetarier.

Wir hatten einen Tisch für 2 online reserviert und haben wg. des guten Wetters einen schönen Platz draussen auf der Terrasse bekommen. Hinter dem Sichtschutz und der Hecke sitzt man dort trotz des starken Verkehrs auf der Nibelungenallee recht gut. Der Kellner war sehr aufmerksam, hatte - und das nicht nur bei uns, sondern auch an den anderen Tischen - Erklärungen zu den Gerichten und Beilagen und bei der Weinauswahl kam er von sich aus mit Probierschlucken, damit wir uns für den richtigen Wein entscheiden konnten. Das Essen war sehr lecker, wobei die Hauptgerichte (Schmortopf-Gerichte) optisch etwas besser präsentiert werden könnten (sahen aus, als wären sie mit der Schöpfkelle aus einem großen Topf auf den Servierteller geschaufelt worden ... kleine Silberschälchen würden hier schon einiges ausmachen) Die Preise waren absolut ok, die Gesamtrechnung für 2 Personen mit Aperitif, Wein, Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte lag erfreulicherweise unter unseren Erwartungen. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es, weil ich mir auch hier (ebenso wie bei Indern, Libanesen, usw.) immer die Frage stelle, ob ein Klecks aus einem großen Topf mit Reis als Beilage wirklich so teuer sein muss. Für das gleiche Geld gibt's zB beim Italiener ein Fischgericht mit gegrilltem Gemüse, Spaghetti Aglio Olio , und das macht deutlich mehr Arbeit. Oder für 60% des Preises gibt's beim Deutschen oder Österreicher ein Gulasch mit Nudeln, was etwa vergleichbar wäre. Aber dennoch, wir hatte. insgesamt einen guten Service, leckeres Essen, etwas exotisches Ambiente zu noch vertretbaren Preisen. Kurz: wir waren nicht das letzte Mal dort!

The restaurant is usually fully booked till late night, specially in the weekends. We really enjoyed the experience and strongly recomment you!

Wir sind schon ein wenig auf dem Planeten herum gekommen. Aber um mit meiner 5 Monate alten Enkeltochter und allen 8 Erwachsenen Gästen mehr oder weniger des Lokales verwiesen zu werden - dazu mussten wir heute ins Schandis gehen. Doch der Reihe nach. Wir kamen gegen 12:00, wie schon gesagt zu 8 1/2 und bestellten Apperitivs, gemischte Vorspeisen, Beilagen und Hauptgerichte. Das Essen war köstlich. Der Service bis dahin tadellos. Bis 13:00 Uhr waren wir alleine im Restaurant, mit Ausnahme einiger To-Go-Kunden. Danach kamen noch einige Gäste. Gegen Ende des Hauptgerichts wurde unsere kleine Enkeltochter ein wenig quengelig. Wir bestellten noch eine Runde Kaffees und wollten danach aufbrechen. Zwischenzeitlich wurde mit zunehmender Gästezahl ein weiterer Kellner aus dem Hut gezaubert, der aber wohl besser drin geblieben wäre. Denn dieser erdreistete sich meine Tochter aufzufordern dafür zu sorgen, dass das Baby still ist. Auf die Frage, ob er denn eine Idee hätte, wie man das anstellt meinter er wir sie doch am besten raus gehen. Dort goss es gerade in Strömen. Wir haben daraufhin alle sofort das Lokal verlassen. Wenn besagter Hilfskellner nicht ganz intelligenzfern gewesen wäre, hätte er gesehen, dass wir schon beim Kaffee waren und der ganze Eklat wäre allen erspart geblieben. So bleibt nur eine am Ende vollkommen missglückte Geburtstagsfeier und 8 Gäste, die dieses Lokal nie wieder betreten werden. Bei solch unterirdischem Service hilft auch das beste Essen nichts.

Toller gemischter Vorspeisenteller, Auberginenmus, Weinblätter, Joghurt mit Minze usw.. Mein Hauptgerichts-Favorit ist Kubideh, sind Hackfleischspiesse gegrillt mit appetitlich angerichtetem Basmatireis. Vegetarische Gerichte, Auberginen- oder Zucchinisauce mit Reis sind sehr schmackhaft. Service manchmal etwas langsam, komme trotzdem gerne und immer wieder.
