I went there some time ago with my friend The presentation of the restaurant is quite good. They welcomed us nicely, which I appreciated. The atmosphere was good, and for me that’s very important — but of course, the food also has to be good. But We had to ask three or four times for a kids’ chair before they brought one, but once everything arrived, the food was good and the prices were reasonable. However, one thing I really didn’t like was the payment situation. My friend and I simply wanted to pay half and half, but the waiter suddenly told me that this was not possible. In the end, I had to pay the full amount myself. Paying is not the issue, but customers should be informed that splitting the bill is not allowed. It felt quite strange and unnecessary.🫥

There's no better Persian restaurant in Hesse. The negative reviews below don't reflect reality and most likely come from the competition. Everyone can see for themselves. Anyone who appreciates good food knows that none of the other Persian restaurants here can compete. Success infuriates the competition. You can clearly see that in the ridiculous comments below. We've been going here weekly for years with our two small children. The quality has never wavered.

Delicious Persian dishes, friendly and attentive staff.

We had a wonderful experience at Babam Persian Restaurant. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented – every dish tasted authentic and reminded us of true Persian home cooking. What really stood out was the service. The staff were not only attentive but also incredibly kind and welcoming, especially with our kids. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, which made the evening so much more enjoyable. A great spot for families and anyone who wants to enjoy delicious Persian food in a warm and friendly atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We were regulars at this restaurant for many years. Unfortunately, we had very bad experiences on our last visits. In 2024, the service was unfriendly; there were seven of us and we weren't allowed to use two tables – two children even had to share a chair. In 2025, when we sat outside and later moved inside, the waiter treated us very disrespectfully. Therefore, we left the restaurant without ordering. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

We were loyal guests of this restaurant for many years – after our last visit, never again. On August 24, I found a sharp piece of plastic in my food and even partially swallowed it. My throat was sore for days, I had to cough, and I'm honestly glad I didn't choke or injure myself more seriously. I immediately showed the incident to the waiter, who apologized. I don't know if the manager was informed – he was in the restaurant, but he didn't apologize personally or show any kind of leniency. This kind of handling of a dangerous incident is absolutely unacceptable to me. We are not only disappointed, but appalled – as long-time customers, we will definitely never return!

Loved everything about Babam! The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in. The interior is simple, modern, and cozy. We ordered the Djudje and Bamieh, and both dishes were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The freshly baked bread that comes for free was simply amazing. Prices are fair for the quality, portions are generous, and you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. Definitely one of the best spots in Frankfurt for Persian food!

Best kobedih kabab i have ever i go there every time when i fly to frankfurt

I chose Salad Oloviyeh (Persian-style potato salad) for my starter, and actually ordered from a restaurant for the first time in my life (I usually only like my own), and it tasted really great. My wife had Ashreshte, which was prepared exactly as she did, but the kashk wasn't optimal, as we're used to. Lamb skewers (koobideh) for the main course were perfect. I had them with freshly made flatbread and she had basmati rice. The ambiance and decor were rather simple, but good and clean. Service gets a 10 out of 5. Thank you very much, see you as soon as I'm back in France.

The food was really tasty. They served it with fresh bread that they baked in the oven right there. The staff were friendly. We told them we were in a hurry because of our train, and they prepared the food very quickly. Really appreciated that.

When in Frankfurt (2-3 times a year), head to Babam, Persian cuisine at its finest. Whatever you order, it's authentic, delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The hummus appetizer was the finest. The main course was a scampi/meat dish with sweet pomegranate cream, exceptional and delicious. The service was always competent and polite, and the hospitality was outstanding. Thank you!

The prices are very high, the workers are very respectful, and the food is average, not something unique, so the bill would be this high.

It's really delicious. The toasted sesame cake with Sabzi Khordan and Feta is so fragrant, and the hummus is also delicious. The service is also very enthusiastic, and I can eat full and happy every time.

If u want a real Iranian food and specially kabab in any form u should visit Babam , the kababs are really high quality and tasty its really comparable with best Iranian restaurants in iran itself

No reservations but we still got a place for 9 people at 1930 and the place did fill up quickly. Food was amazing! Service is top notch! I ordered braised chicken with some really delicious rice (I will attach a photo of it). Absolutely recommend it because I am Asian, and I didn’t know you could do rice like THAT! This Persian spot? Delicious. One of my friends told me she hits this place every time she's in town for work and honestly, I couldn't agree more. Totally get why it's her go-to. The homemade lemonade? Absolute bomb. Super refreshing, just the right amount of sweetness might be worth coming here for that alone. If you love lamb, you're in for a treat. They know what they're doing. Their falafel and hummus? On point. Creamy, crispy, flavorful all the good stuff. The grilled veggies were done perfectly too just enough char to get that savory, roasted smell that makes your mouth water. Also gotta shout out the small but genius detail: they've got a sink outside the bathrooms so you can wash your hands without playing hide and seek with the restroom. Love that. Atmosphere and lighting were great, super chill but still felt classy. Definitely a spot worth coming back to business trip or not.

"Babam" is a delicious Persian restaurant with super friendly staff. A young employee at the cash register gave us great tips on what to order – especially helpful since we only had an hour for lunch. He helped us order quickly and was very friendly. The sharing appetizer platter was a real highlight – fresh, varied, and incredibly delicious. The homemade lemonade was also very refreshing, and the saffron pudding for dessert was simply divine. We'll definitely be back!

Excellence im Service and value for Money

The Borani Bademjan and the grilled meats were my favorite! I love Persian food and it's one of my go-to food wherever I am in the world. A lot won't get it right, but I think Babam does, as far as the ones I have tried is concerned. Nothing fancy but it's about the food.

Everything was good especially the fresh and warm bread was delicious also the food was delicious. But the size of the Dogh was really small compare to to the price

Quality and service a disaster. I advise you to go there. I definitely ate Persian better in Frankfurt!!!! There's a chicken drumstick there. Are you crazy? To save meat, a dry bone was placed on my plate. When I told the waiter this, he blatantly lied to my face and said we always do it that way. Understood! Since when do you put a piece of bone on your plate? Of course, very clever to fill the contents of the plate! In addition, the minced meat skewer is formed so thinly on the skewer to save even more meat. I paid 25 euros for that! Never again. I also noticed guests in the restaurant who were dissatisfied with the food. The service wasn't the best either. The good waiter drinks a beer in front of the guests, stands around and there was no talk of friendliness. All in all, you save your money and eat somewhere else instead.

Disastrous service - never again! After our food was finally delivered after over two hours - completely ice cold - I first called the restaurant directly. I wasn't offered any solution there. The driver then contacted the manager (Ali) - and what followed was unbelievable: instead of trying to find a solution, we were simply offered to send the food back. No replacement, no accommodation - nothing. What was particularly shocking was the manager's disrespectful and aggressive tone when dealing with us as customers. Such behavior is completely unacceptable. Stay away - absolutely not recommended!

Katastrophaler Service – nie wieder! After über two hours, our food was finally delivered - completely cold - I had to call the restaurant directly. Dort wurde mir keinerlei Lösung angeboten. Der Fahrer kontaktierte daraphin den Geschäftsführer (Ali) – und was dann folgte, war unfassbar: Statt sich um eine Lösung zu bemühen, bot man uns echtlich an, das Essen zurückzuschicken. Kein Ersatz, kein Entgegenkommen - nichts. Besonders erschreckend war der respektlose und aggressive Ton des Geschäftsführers im Umgang mit uns als Kunden. So ein Verhalten ist völlig inakzeptabel. Finger weg – absolut nicht emfehnelswert! After 2 hours, the whole food was cold and inedible and sent to me. After talking to the restaurant with no results, the driver aggressively called the restaurant manager (Ali) and he, in complete disrespect and irresponsibility, only offered me to send the food back!!!! I will never recommend such a poor and unprofessional restaurant to anyone who does not accept their service mistakes.

Whether you’re Persian or not, it doesn’t matter. This place serves some of the most delicious food you will ever try. For us, being far from home, it was more than just a meal, it was a truly memorable experience. The flavors were authentic and rich, just like the original Persian food we grew up with. Every bite reminded us of home. We felt welcomed, cared for, and completely satisfied. Highly recommended!

I have an incredible 4 (!!!) Persian restaurants in my city and each time I have to drive 60 km so that I can eat at Babam. Words cannot describe how good the food tastes here. It takes a poet ala Hafez or philosopher to describe the taste and quality in this restaurant. No matter what you order from the menu: everything tastes incredibly good. I usually order Mirza Ghazemi as a starter and Sultani as my main course. But now I just try every dish on the menu. It doesn't matter what you order: everything tastes damn good... Absolutely crazy! But that's not all, dear friends: No matter when you eat here, there are always 3 to 5 people working in the kitchen. I go to the bathroom to wash my hands and my food is already on the table when I come back. It doesn't matter how full the store is. That alone is worth 5 stars. I feel sorry for the people who walk past on the street and have no idea what they are missing. Without exaggerating, I can confirm 100% that this is the best Persian in Europe. Yes in Europe. I've eaten with Persians in Turkey, Greece, Georgia and France: no shop comes close to Babam. After every meal I would love to run into the kitchen and kiss the chefs' hands. I wish the people of Frankfurt would appreciate this pearl in the city more. Only negative point: I have to drive 60 km so I can eat here. Now I need a new apartment in Frankfurt. Baba Dametun Garm!
