Al Camino in Frankfurt am Main

I was there with my son and daughter. It is a humble and down-to-earth restaurant. The operation and service is very warm and hardworking. It makes you feel very familiar. We ate pizza and were very surprised. You can tell there are real Italians at work. We eat a lot of pizza often, but these were exceptionally tasty and good. The dough was great and the topping was perfect. We'll definitely be back! Definitely recommended! It's fantastic. Grazie mille!

The food there is very tasty, the pizza from the wood-fired oven and the prices are very reasonable, the service is always friendly and at the end you are often offered an espresso. I usually go there 2 to 3 times a week and am always satisfied.

Super tasty pizza. And the prices are cheap. Prices are not constantly increasing here. Our whole family only goes here. The quality is consistent and very good. The staff is super nice, nice and polite. They are in a good mood and you get the feeling that they are having fun at work. Really great people and we love coming here. Only the ambience could be nicer and more modern, but otherwise the best pizzeria in the larger area. The police and fire departments also often come here. For us the best pizzeria that offers really good and, above all, cheap pizzas. It is always well attended. We previously went to the other pizzeria in Heddernheim for 30 years, but changed due to a lack of quality and constantly rising prices and didn't regret it. On the contrary, we ask ourselves why we didn't come here sooner. Unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users as there are 3 or 4 steps. Unfortunately, there is hardly any parking space available as it is a residential area. We give 5 stars. It's definitely worth a try.

Our absolute favorite Italian! 🍕🍝 We've been coming here for a long time - sometimes even several times a month - and we love it every time. The food is simply fantastic, always fresh and prepared with a lot of love. What's particularly great is that the prices are super fair and aren't constantly increasing, which is really rare these days. Even if the pizzeria is getting old, that doesn't detract from the ambience. On the contrary - it feels cozy and authentic, and you are always warmly welcomed. The service is top, friendly and accommodating, so you feel completely comfortable. Whether pizza, pasta or other specialties – everything is just right here! Absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy great Italian cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely come back again and again! 😊

The location looks very rancid and outdated but it is still clean. There isn't even soap in the toilets. But that's about it with negative points. The food was super tasty, cheap and quickly prepared. The service was also very nice. Unfortunately there isn't much choice when it comes to drinking, but it's also very cheap. In terms of food, an absolute recommendation. €75 for 6 people including a starter almost rivals cooking at home.

Eating like with good friends. Taste great, service great, price performance great. Everything is so great that you should make a reservation to make sure you get a spot. In summer you can sit outside in the spacious garden. Another plus point is that special requests are taken into account if the relevant food is in stock. Absolute recommendation.

The service was very friendly this time. The toilets are a disaster, especially for the men. Totally dirty, smelly. Women's toilet was okay, but everything was very bland, no nice decoration, no smell. Cold and pragmatic. The toilet is usually a reflection of the kitchen... There was no (!) tea in November. My salad was fresh and good, but hardly dressed/without seasoning. My husband's grilled vegetables were completely unseasoned. Lasagna was round (??) and a single slush. 4-cheese pizza small and oval, all four types of cheese on top of each other. Espresso and cappuccino came in the strangest cups I've ever seen in an Italian restaurant. All in all, it was prepared carelessly and without an Italian heart. Otherwise significant hygiene deficiencies. For us: never again!

Good normal food, nice staff, good prices

Even though we are rarely guests, we are welcomed like regulars. The guest room is rather simply furnished but still feels cozy. The pizzas come from the charcoal oven, the dough is excellent (perfectly risen, baked to perfection) and special requests for toppings are no problem.

Unfortunately, my visit to the Al Camino restaurant was very disappointing. My friends and I wanted to eat there and entered the restaurant without a reservation. However, an employee told us directly that there was no space and that nothing was possible without a reservation. Shortly afterwards, four other guests entered the restaurant without a reservation - and were promptly given a table. We felt treated unfairly and found the situation unprofessional and disrespectful. Such behavior is unpleasant and significantly reduces the enjoyment of visiting a restaurant.

For me the best pizzeria there is! Quality and price performance definitely harmonize here! Super nice staff

Best pizzeria in our area. And cheap too. Our old pizzeria constantly increased prices and the quality decreased. Not here. The pizza is awesome. Just come here. It's definitely worth a try and even the police station and the volunteer fire department often come here. And the people are super friendly and will even chat with you. Above all, they are also in a good mood. Only the ambience could be better.

The appearance of the summer garden doesn't matter. You can sit well there. But more stars for ambience would give the wrong impression. Putting your own pizza together is no problem here. Baked in a wood oven at a fair price, simply good. The waitresses are nice and have the store under control. I would like to eat there more often.

After an exhibition we looked for somewhere to eat. This is where we ended up. I had salad with shrimp, my child had pizza margarita. She only took one bite and didn't want any more. The cheese on both dishes are just bad. It doesn't taste good... you either make smaller portions or increase the price... you can't get anywhere as a restaurateur with such poor quality. and only cash payment... what age are we in...

Unfortunately we weren't at all convinced by the food. We had two pizzas and a salad, the quality of everything was just run of the mill. If I'm served canned mushrooms on a pizza, I'm already fed up. Unfortunately, the ham was also quite disgusting because it was thick cubes. Definitely nice for drinking beer in the beer garden.

Great restaurant with exceptionally reasonable prices. A pizza for €6 is a rarity these days. In terms of price performance, the restaurant is a 1 with a star. Very friendly host! I can warmly recommend that.

Furnishings, toilets are old. No light in the women's toilet. Only cheap ingredients on the starter plate. Pizza really soggy. The only reason for 4.5 stars - price + nice service. But cheap isn't everything

So far I've been happy with the food. Today, May 25th, 24, I ordered pasta with cream sauce and waited over an hour and what did I find in the pasta😡 It can happen sometimes but waiting another hour for it to be replaced makes it all go away for me. Now I know better to cook myself and never order again. Al Camino has lost a customer. Service means something completely different.

There were four of us there because the delivery would have taken two hours. The pizzas were still very runny on the inside, OK in terms of taste and price. You're actually sitting there in a delivery and pick-up pizzeria with slot machines. The cleanliness of the toilets leaves a lot to be desired. The service is overwhelmed but nice. We waited a long time before we even got the menu.

I just ordered my favorite pizza. And I have to say I'm shocked. I've never eaten such a "good" pizza in my entire life. The best and that is a far understatement. Everything was right. The consistency of the dough and the topping. It really was the best pizza I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Thank you very much, you could taste the love.

It's average in terms of food. Neither outstandingly noticeable but not bad either. Service seemed stressed but very quick, which I personally like. Despite the mediocre food, I would eat there again because the prices are incredibly cheap. Normally the three of us would spend around 80 euros, but here we came to just under 40 euros with dessert. 1l of cola costs 3 euros here, so really extremely fair prices. You can turn a blind eye here and there
