Personally, I can only recommend the Schmankerlstube.
We celebrated our wedding there four years ago, and I always enjoy going there because:
The food is a delight and the chef knows 100% what he's doing.
The service is super friendly.
I can only recommend it.
The Prinze Gumpe is a unique place. The inn is located on a natural lake fed by a cavern. The food, however, is very expensive, and the portions are meager. The Schlutzkrapfen are exactly five filled ravioli without a side dish for 15 euros. That's quite steep. The Romanian dishes are perhaps more substantial, as the host is more knowledgeable about them. It's enough for a drink. I'd skip the food.
We were on vacation in Pottenstein and visited the Forsterstube twice. The food was excellent, incredibly tasty. The service was very friendly and welcoming. We definitely recommend reserving a table, as it's not very big and gets quite busy.
Addendum: Still as delicious after two years, the staff incredibly friendly and simply lovely!
An absolute recommendation for excellent Syrian food!
The food was incredibly delicious and beautifully prepared. The chicken at Chicken Mandi was the best chicken I've ever eaten! Incredibly juicy, very well seasoned, and perfectly flavored. The Arabic rice was also a true taste experience.
The service was very polite and accommodating, and the restaurant has great outdoor seating.
Highly recommended for a delicious dinner!
Three of us ate there and were very impressed. The service was excellent – very polite, friendly, and attentive. We particularly enjoyed the warm appetizer plate and the fresh bread! The falafel are among the best I've ever eaten. We had exclusively vegetarian or vegan dishes, which were consistently delicious and flavorful.
Next time, we would like some quiet background music, as it was quite quiet during our visit. To our surprise, there were still plenty of seats available.
The three of us would definitely recommend the restaurant and would gladly come back!
