I've been to the Steak Lounge several times and wanted to share my excellent impressions.
The service has always been incredibly friendly and professional. Any questions we had about the food or wine pairings were always answered to our complete satisfaction. While the wait times for our food vary depending on how busy the restaurant is, they are never so long that you get impatient. The food itself has always been incredibly delicious. My favorite is, and always will be, the specially marinated steaks from their own dry-aging cabinet! Overall, everything about my visits to the Steak Lounge has been far above average for Weiden, and I would even say that there isn't a better steakhouse in the area. The ambiance is also a fantastic blend of modern and cozy! Thanks to the small but elegant dining rooms, the noise level is kept to a minimum, making it ideal for business lunches and private events alike!
Best regards to the entire Steak Lounge team.
Quick, easy, and delicious! We spontaneously decided to eat there, and luckily a table was still free; otherwise, reservations are recommended. Very child-friendly, they provided a highchair and entertained our child.
We'd gladly come again!
Basically, a pretty nice restaurant with some serious flaws. We'd mostly walked past it before and decided to go in. The ambiance was fine and quite cozy.
Unfortunately, the trouble began immediately after the waitress seated us. It took a whopping 20 minutes before anyone even showed any interest in us. After noticing that someone was sitting there, we wisely decided to order both (drinks and food) at once. Thank goodness, because the wait for the food was already enormous at 45 minutes. If the quality of the food had been at least decent, I wouldn't say anything yet. The problem, however, was that it was so far off the mark that it was almost unbelievable.
We had the spare ribs, which arrived cold, tough, and with very little meat (3 bones with some meat on them).
We also had edamame, which were also quite cold, and grilled peppers with a limp texture and barely any seasoning.
The squid arm was charred at one end and chewy at the other.
The highlight, however, was the beef tartare, which was garnished with anchovies to seemingly add some flavor. It seems like it was an experiment that unfortunately failed completely in terms of taste.
All in all, one of the most negative experiences in Rosenheim's gastronomy. I can and will only advise everyone not to visit this restaurant. Also, because the service staff is so disorganized that they tried to bring us dessert without us ordering it, while the table next to us had also been waiting for their order for quite some time and were also completely ignored. An unparalleled impudence.
Not to mention that for this "experience," a three-figure bill for two people is served in the blink of an eye.
We've been coming here regularly for five years. The food is always so delicious; I highly recommend it. We love the spring rolls and the number 42. It's a dream. The duck tastes incredibly good; we've never been disappointed.
