Einfach nur lieblingmexicaner, weil saulecker

Die Wahl des Lokals an einem Sonntag war recht spontan, da die Öffnungszeiten in Aschaffenburg anders geregelt sind, als gewohnt. Ich habe mich telefonisch erkundigt und mir wurde gesagt es sein überhaupt kein Problem, ich solle einfach vorbeikommen. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und bemüht auch meinen „äußerst scharfen“ Wünschen nachzukommen. Das Essen war sehr lecker, ich meckere nicht da der Schärfe- und Knoblauchgrad ja regional angepasst werden muss. Die Einrichtung urig-mexikanisch. Es ist süß aber sollte demnächst entstaubt werden, was natürlich bei dem gedämmten Licht und der Deko schwierig ist. Kann man nachvollziehen. Aber alles in einem ein gutes und leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen. Ich würde definitiv wiederkommen, wenn ich wieder in der Gegend bin.

Sehr uriges Ambiente; Leckeres Essen in großer Auswahl; Achtung: Riesen Portionen !! Sehr preiswert (wo gibt es noch 0,5 Fassbier für 4€).

Waren am Wochenende dort essen. Ich hatte Tacos, mein Freund einen Burrito. Beides war leider eher matschig. Meine Tacos haben sogar am Teller geklebt. Der Reis hatte kaum Geschmack und wirkte nur wie eine Beilage, um satt zu werden. Das einzig Positive war unsere Vorspeise: Nachos mit Käse und Jalapeños. Insgesamt war das leider unser letzter Besuch.

Ein ganz hervorragende Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in urigem Ambiente

Hallo Freunde der mexikanischen Küche, ​wir sind hier schon seit Jahren Stammgäste – egal ob wir vor Ort essen oder bestellen. Die Qualität ist über die Zeit hinweg konstant hoch geblieben. ​Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Cocktails (mit und ohne Alkohol) sowie die gesamte Speisekarte; hier kann man eigentlich blind wählen und wird nicht enttäuscht. Die Preise sind absolut fair und für die gebotene Qualität angemessen. ​Das Ambiente ist rustikal-mexikanisch und gemütlich dunkel. Praktisch: Man kann bar oder mit Karte zahlen. Im Sommer gibt es vor dem Eingang einen kleinen, windgeschützten Biergarten. Parkplätze findet man problemlos hinter dem Haus Richtung Edeka. Der Inhaber und das Team sind zudem immer freundlich und aufmerksam. ​LG M.

Wir sind öfters dort. Heute eahr das erste mal meine mama dabei mit 78 jahren. Sie wollte sonst nie mit, weil sie nicht wusste was es da alles gibt. Sie wahr restlos begeistert. Hat ihren Teller komplett leer gegessen. Das hat sie schon lange nicht mehr. Restlos begeistert wie immer... ich danke euch...

Leckere Speisen, guter Service, schön eingerichtet.

Ich bin begeistert! Die Gerichte die wir in der Gruppe hatten waren alle ausgezeichnet, der Service war total gut drauf und das Interior lässt das Gefühl aufkommen man würde im Urlaub sein. Preislich dazu auch in sehr guten Rahmen - hier kommen wir auf jeden Fall nochmal hin. Top!

Bin nicht sicher ob die marode Toilette mexikanisch erscheinen soll oder einfach nur total abgehalten ist.

Preis Leistung sehr gut. Ambiente gefällt mir gut, aber teilweise sehr dunkel und mir persönlich etwas überladen mit Dekoration. Aber das ist Geschmackssache.

Late September 2025 was the second time that I have visited here. The place is very atmospheric, lots of Mexican decor and hats hanging from the ceiling, there are a mix of sizes of tables, plus tables for outside dining when the weather is hotter. The menu is extensive and the portions large, though I felt that the portions were inflated a bit with salad and rice, when I wasn't expecting salad or rice with those dishes. Food overall was tasty and the coffee afterwards was good. The staff are friendly and accommodating for our large group. Generally I enjoyed my second visit and would go again. (Unfortunately I didn't take any photos, but I might find some later from others)

Very good food and very good service

It's worth eating here more often! You can be sure to find something delicious and filling on the extremely varied menu. I personally recommend the appetizer platter in particular. There's also a wide selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Depending on where you sit, it's a bit dark, but that just makes the restaurant feel all the more cozy. If you're feeling hungry in Miltenberg, you should stop by.

Due to the trade fair, it wasn't busy during our visit. The food and drinks arrived quickly, and the waiter was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The ambiance is pleasant, with plenty of items hanging around and standing around, and the location is very narrow. Due to the limited number of windows, it's a bit dark, which isn't necessarily a problem, especially if you're here for a cocktail.

The cola was stale, barely carbonated. The main course took a while to arrive. The food was relatively fresh, but the taste could have been better.

The food is delicious there and the boss is very friendly. I like him and enjoy coming to eat there. 🙂 We drive there from MKk.

The food was freshly prepared and special requests were responded to in a friendly manner. A small restaurant with charm. The food was tasty and the portions were not skimpy. The Tequila Sunrise can do something, but I have also drunk stronger ones. All in all, happy again and a clear recommendation.

We were promised a good table and were then seated in the last hole at the back on the left where there were already a lot of people sitting. To make matters worse, a couple was squeezed in where they absolutely reeked of sweat and there was air in this hole. It was a very warm day and the place was packed. So feeling good is something different in my opinion. The food didn't blow me away either. So it was our first time on Saturday evening and it was packed. That's not mine, sorry

Haben reserviert, was absolut nicht nötig gewesen wäre. Als wir rein kamen haben wir erstmal 5! Minuten gewartet bis überhaupt mal jemand zu sehen war. Einmal Taccos und einmal Enchilada bestellt. Das Hackfleisch in den Taccos war Knochentrocken und der Salat bei beiden Essen braun und auch schon schwarz geschimmelt an einer stelle. Haben es beim abräumen gesagt und nicht mal ein „es tut uns leid“ oder ähnliches. Keine Empfehlung dieses Restaurant zu besuchen.

Super tasty and very nice service.

The service was friendly and quick. The ambience is, let's say, "special". A little overkill for my taste. Because it's very dark in the rooms, you can't see the layers of dust and cobwebs that well. Unfortunately, it's not possible without a flashlight possible to read the menu. The food is quite tasty. The portions are huge and the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Next time I would like to dine al fresco and check everything out in daylight.

Very good food, fun atmosphere. For me personally, the rooms are a bit too dark, certainly intended to represent the Mexican flair more, which fits perfectly. Still, everything was great, especially the service was attentive and friendly. Definitely coming back

Ein liebevoll eingerichtetes Restaurant mit dezenter Beleuchtung. Hier wird man herzlich begrüßt und auch bedient. Zur Auswahl steht ein breit gefächertes Angebot an köstlichen, mexikanischen Gerichten, wie Enchiladas, Burritos und Tacos. Auch für den kleinen Hunger zum Cocktail gibt es eine tolle Auswahl. Das Essen kommt heiß, teilweise noch brutzelnd an den Tisch. Ich hatte einen Putenspieß und war sowohl vom Anblick des reichlich und vielfältig bestückten Tellers, als auch vom Geschmack tief beeindruckt. Das Fleisch war butterzart, der Salat knackig und das Gemüse nicht matschig, sondern leicht bissfest. Wir hatten einen tollen Abend und bedanken uns recht herzlich für dieses Geschmackserlebnis.

Wonderful place! I love the decoration, it’s so authentic ! It’s really a place to go if you want to eat Mexican in a very original and super friendly environnent.They have a lot of options regarding drinks and Mexican specialties. We loved it ! The staff is super friendly too, he spent a very nice moment and we will return soon for sure !

Sehr guter Mexikaner mit richtig guten Preisen für sehr leckeres Essen in einem tollen Restaurant. Man fühlt sich wie in Mexiko. Den Besitzer kenne ich schon länger, früher von Aschaffenburg. Hätten wir gewusst, dass das Mexikana ihm gehört wären wir schon öfters her gekommen.

Super Lokation,super essen ,super Personal

Die Begrüßung ist wie immer sehr Herzlich, die von uns ausgewählte Ecke war genau die richtige ein wenig versteckt für Liebesschwüre und dann kam das Essen es war so toll. Eine Vorspeisen Platte für 2 und auch die ist anpassbar, die Toasties sind nicht vergleichbar gut und schmackhaft.... Aber der Service ist nicht zu toppen.

Waren schon des öfteren dort essen,wie auch gestern Abend und immer wieder ist es einfach nur perfekt.Egal ob das Essen,die Preise oder der Service. Deshalb auch hier ein großes Dankeschön an den Chef und sein Team!!! La Mexicana kann man nur weiter empfehlen!!!

Bester Mexikaner im Umkreis Dieser Abend war echt ein Genuss gewesen.. das La Mexicana überzeugte auf vollster Linie... sehr leckeres Essen, passende Ambiente und mit einem sehr aufmerksamen Service.. auch die Preise sind günstig im Vergleich zu anderen Läden.

Meine Frau und ich haben das Restaurant aufgrund der vielen guten Bewertungen besucht. Allerdings konnte sich unsere Erfahrung, gerade was das Essen betrifft, nicht mit den meisten Bewertungen decken. Die Portionen sind groß und zum Sattwerden, allerdings war das Hackfleisch, das den Hauptbestandteil des Tacos meiner Frau ausgemacht hat, super trocken und wirkte als wäre es nicht frisch zubereitet. Die Bedienung, wahrscheinlich der Eigentümer, war recht hektisch, vermutlich waren sie an dem Abend unterbesetzt. Auf die Frage, wie uns das Essen geschmeckt habe, gaben wir eine freundliche Rückmeldung mit Hinweis auf das trockene Fleisch. Als Antwort bekamen wir, dass es halt so sei, weil es Hackfleisch ist und dass sich noch nie jemand beschwert hätte. Offensichtlich war dieser Taco aber nicht wirklich genießbar. Schade, dass der Mann genervt wirkte von uns, auch schon bevor das Essen kam und während es serviert wurde. Somit haben wir uns allgemein unwohl gefühlt. Der Rest des Essens war okay, aber auch weit unter dem, was wir erwartet hatten. Die Einrichtung ist spannend, originell und sorgt für einen mexikanischen Flair. Ansonsten können wir das Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Das Essen war super, das Ambiente ebenso, allerdings hat uns die gute Frau im Service komplett ignoriert, erst als nach einer halben Stunde laut gerufen wurde das wir durst haben kam sie zu uns uns fragte was wir trinken wollen.

Ich bin seit sehr vielen Jahren Stammgast und bin bestimmt jede zweite Woche hier. Es ist einfach der Wahnsinn was der Mann aus der Küche zaubert. Egal was man isst, es schmeckt.
