Sehr gutes chinesisches Essen, ich komme gerne hierher.

Nach meiner Ankunft in Nürnberg hatte ich plötzlich Lust auf chinesisches Essen. Nachdem ich vom Bahnhof zum Schloss am Ende des Burggeländes gelaufen war, folgte ich dem Lageplan zum Restaurant. Es war etwa zu 70 % belegt. Wir bestellten zu zweit scharfes Hühnchen nach Sichuan-Art (leicht scharf), gebratenen Pak Choi (ich glaube, es war Pak Choi), Schweinedärme im Trockentopf (eine großzügige Portion) und eine große Schüssel Reis. Wir waren danach pappsatt! Falls ihr jemals in Nürnberg seid und plötzlich Lust auf chinesisches Essen habt, solltet ihr dieses Restaurant unbedingt ausprobieren! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Ich würde 10 Sterne geben, wenn ich könnte, der beste Suan Cai Yu aller Zeiten!

Ein nettes kleines Restaurant mit dem besten Suan Cai Yue (saures Gemüse-Fischgericht), das wir bisher außerhalb Asiens gegessen haben. Das Essen ist sehr authentisch, besonders im Vergleich zu all dem „asiatischen Essen“, das man überall bekommt. Sie mischen nicht einmal Thai, Sushi oder Pho in ihre Speisekarte, wie es so viele andere tun, sondern bleiben einfach ihrer eigenen Küche treu. Einfach toll!

Es schmeckt jedes Mal gleich gut!

Wir hatten einen Tisch für vier Personen reserviert und authentische Sichuan-Küche erwartet. Stattdessen erlebten wir eine wahre Meisterklasse im professionellen Ignorieren von Gästen. - Die Hälfte unseres Essens kam nie an, weil anscheinend alle Tische, die nach uns kamen – inklusive Lieferbestellungen –, Vorrang hatten. - Unsere Bestellung wurde komplett vergessen, obwohl wir das Personal mindestens dreimal daran erinnerten. - Als wir höflich Feedback gaben, bekamen wir statt einer Entschuldigung nur ein: „Die Küche ist ausgelastet, was kann ich tun?“ 🫠 Ehrlich gesagt, wenn Chaos ein Menü hätte, wäre dieses Restaurant der Inbegriff davon. Das Frustrierendste war nicht einmal die Wartezeit – Restaurants sind nun mal voll. Es war die völlige Gleichgültigkeit und Verantwortungslosigkeit. Wir fühlten uns den ganzen Abend über unsichtbar. Vielleicht sind in der Stoßzeit nur bestimmte Gäste wichtig, aber Gastfreundschaft sollte für alle gelten. Und als ob das nicht schon schlimm genug wäre: Das Essen selbst rechtfertigte den Preis nicht. Weit entfernt von authentischen Sichuan-Aromen und definitiv weder die Wartezeit noch die Unfreundlichkeit wert. Ich würde es weder wegen des Services noch wegen des Essens empfehlen, es sei denn, Sie zahlen gerne Premiumpreise, um dann mit Ihrem Abendessen Verstecken zu spielen.

Wir haben zweimal in diesem Sichuan-Restaurant zu Abend gegessen. Bei unserem ersten Besuch bestellten wir Fuqi Feipian, Ganguo Feichang (Schweineinnereien) und Ganbian Sijidou (gebratene grüne Bohnen). Das Fuqi Feipian war mit den falschen Zutaten zubereitet (es bestand hauptsächlich aus Schweineohren), die anderen beiden Gerichte waren jedoch genießbar. Bei unserem zweiten Besuch bestellten wir Koushui Ji (köstliches Hühnchen), Kung Pao Hühnchen und Ganguo Huacai (Blumenkohl aus dem Trockentopf). Die Haut des Koushui Ji war extrem gelb – fast so, als wäre sie gefärbt worden –, während das Kung Pao Hühnchen mit großen Hühnerstücken anstatt mit gewürfelten Stücken zubereitet wurde, Zutaten wie Sellerie enthielt und viel zu wässrig war; es war in keiner Weise authentisch. Obwohl wir vier Nächte in Nürnberg verbrachten, hatten wir absolut keine Lust, jemals wieder in diesem Restaurant zu essen. Wir haben zweimal in diesem Sichuan-Restaurant zu Abend gegessen. Bei unserer ersten Bestellung bestellten wir Rindfleisch- und Kuttelscheiben in Chilisauce, Schweinedärme im Trockentopf und gebratene grüne Bohnen. Das Rindfleisch und die Kuttelscheiben waren mit den falschen Zutaten zubereitet (hauptsächlich Schweineohren), die anderen beiden Gerichte waren aber in Ordnung. Beim zweiten Mal bestellten wir Sichuan-Hühnchen mit Speichel, Kung-Pao-Hühnchen und Blumenkohl im Trockentopf. Die Haut des Sichuan-Hühnchens mit Speichel war sehr gelb, als wäre sie gefärbt worden; das Kung-Pao-Hühnchen bestand nicht aus gewürfeltem, sondern aus großen Hühnerfleischstücken mit Sellerie und anderem Gemüse im Inneren und war wässrig und überhaupt nicht authentisch. Obwohl wir vier Nächte in Nürnberg verbrachten, werden wir dieses Restaurant nie wieder besuchen.

Sehr gut. Das authentischste chinesische Essen, das ich bisher in Deutschland gegessen habe.

Ich habe selten so gut gegessen! Also nicht nur was chinesisches Essen angeht herausragend. Ich bin ein bisschen traurig, dass ich nicht in Nürnberg wohne.

Ich war kürzlich Abends mit Kollegen hier essen. Wir haben mehrere Gerichte bestellt und alles in die Mitte gestellt, so dass jeder alles probieren konnte. War ok, aber das wars auch. Die Resonanz am Tisch war insgesamt nur so lala. Das Ambiente ist eher karg. Uns hat es jetzt nicht so gefallen.

Gutes und authentisches chinesisches Essen. Definitiv eines der zwei besten chinesischen Restaurants, die ich in Europa besucht habe. Geschmacklich steht es guten Restaurants in China in nichts nach.

Das Essen war hervorragend. Es war sehr frisch und ich kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen. Es ist ein kleines Lokal, das vor allem von Einheimischen besucht wird, und die Speisekarten sind nur auf Deutsch. Ich rate dringend zu reservieren, da es schnell voll ist. Wenn Sie authentische chinesische Küche in bester Qualität suchen, sind Sie hier genau richtig.

Eine der besten chinesischen Küchen in Nürnberg. Mapo Tofu, Wonton-Nudeln und gebratenes saisonales Gemüse sind für mich jedes Mal ein Muss. Das Restaurant ist schlicht, aber gerade daran erkennt man die Qualität – es kommen viele chinesische Gäste.

Authentische chinesische Küche mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Furchtbar. In den letzten vier Jahren bin ich bei jeder Nürnberg-Durchreise im Hauptbahnhof (hbf) essen gegangen. Aber anscheinend hat sich das Team kürzlich verändert. Das Essen sieht überhaupt nicht nach chinesischer Küche aus und schmeckt scheußlich. Ich werde nicht wiederkommen.

Ich liebe Chiba, das Essen schmeckt großartig, der Service ist super freundlich und ich wurde geschmacklich wirklich noch nie enttäuscht dort und das seit der Eröffnung! Klare Empfehlung für den gebratenen Spitzkohl, der ist bei uns bei jeder Bestellung dabei und auch das gebratene Rindfleisch mit Paprika oder Mapotofu eine klare Empfehlung! Aber auch der Fisch oder andere Gerichte sollte man dort probieren! Ich hoffe Chiba wird uns noch ganz ganz lange erhalten bleiben und ich wünsche dem Laden und den ganzen Team von Herzen nur das Beste und Erfolg! LG <3

Reis und Nudeln sind perfekt zubereitet. Alles genau richtig, nicht zu viel und nicht zu wenig. Sehr lecker. Gemütliche Atmosphäre. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Schnellfazit: Insgesamt einen Besuch wert, authentische chinesische Küche zu fairen Preisen. Im Detail: Kleiner Gastraum, Einrichtung und Dekoration eher funktional-minimalistisch statt edel oder stylisch-modern. Keine Date-Destination aber völlig ausreichend, wenn man nur zum Essen kommt. Essen schmeckt definitiv anders und besser als beim typischen Nudelbox-Chinesen. Gerichte zu 80% auch mal was anderes. Die Aromen sind lecker, alles gut gewürzt und manche Saucen echt eine Umami-Bombe. Handwerklich aber noch ein wenig Raum nach oben. Schweinrippchen waren bspw. unfassbar zäh. Für Nagerfreunde ein Traum, aber wer butterweiche Spareribs gewohnt ist, der verzweifelt. Wer scharf bestellt, bekommt hier übrigens auch wirklich scharf und wer auf ein Sezchuan-Pfefferkorn beißt, wird das Gefühl haben, seinen gesamten Mund mit Pfeffer-Parfüm eingesprüht zu haben. Service ist okay, nicht mega aufmerksam aber auch nicht untätig. Freundlichkeit bei allen absolut vorbildlich, Deutsch bei einer Servicekraft aber ein Problem leider. Insgesamt ein authentisches chinesisches Restaurant mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

Unser Essen war leider ungenießbar (beide Gerichte). Wir haben noch nie Essen stehen lassen, aber es war unmöglich das zu essen. Es kam keine Entschuldigung, kein Vorschlag der Wiedergutmachung/es wurde keine Alternative angeboten. Stattdessen bekamen wir kommentarlos die volle Rechnung. Keinerlei Servicegedanke, sehr enttäuschend.

Absolutely fantastic Sichuan cuisine, and really spicy!

I've been here many times – it was recommended by a German friend. As someone from Chongqing, I'd give the Sichuan cuisine here 70 out of 100 points. The "boiled fish" (Shuizhuyu) and "Mao Xue Wang" are very authentic and are among my regular dishes. The "Chongqing Chili Chicken" is rather average. The owner is very friendly, and the dishes are generally a bit salty – you can ask for a less salty option when ordering. Overall, one of the most authentic Sichuan restaurants in Nuremberg, definitely worth a visit!

Visiting Nuremberg for a few days and came a crossed this restaurant, it was so good I had to come back again the next day. I recommend the grilled fish and beef with broth, definitely a must go in the city!

A lovely little authentic Chinese restaurant with typical Sichuan dishes. The prices are a bit high, but you're rewarded with excellent food. The service is attentive and friendly. Card payments are also accepted, so see you next time! 🤤

Really, really, really good Sichuan cuisine. There are also unusual items on the menu for the brave. Insider tip: The pointed cabbage. And anything with pork belly is simply amazing.

Super delicious Chinese food. Much more authentic than the "regular" Germanized Chinese restaurant around the corner. The staff is friendly. Unfortunately, there aren't many seats, so reservations are recommended.

As someone who gets that “something’s missing” feeling after going too long without Asian food, this Chinese restaurant felt like pure salvation. I couldn’t believe how happy a single mapo tofu could make me—the sauce had just the right balance of spice and salt, and the tofu had the perfect texture I love. If I’m ever back in Nürnberg, there’s no question, I’m coming straight here again.

The chili for stir-fried pork is different from that in China. It is slightly spicy and has a wok flavor. I am satisfied with this Chinese restaurant in Europe. The environment is average. It seems that there is no air conditioning inside.

Very authentic Chinese food for our part of the world. Which might mean it won't appeal to everyone in Europe. I've found everything I've tried so far to be delicious (except the chicken feet) 😁 Very friendly staff. The ambiance is OK for the size of the restaurant, but it's not exactly inviting.

I stopped by for lunch at 2 p.m. and waited half an hour. The dishes were okay, but the Kung Pao Chicken was a real letdown. It tasted just like the beef with hot peppers that came with it. 😂 The foreign waitress in white seemed upset and was arguing with a Chinese guy. During the argument, she knocked over a glass from the table next to us and didn't bother to clean it up or apologize to the customer. Her face was a bit sullen, which was a bit strange.

I was passing through this city and stayed at a hotel near the restaurant. I ate here twice in two days and was quite satisfied with both meals. The taste was good, the price was moderate, and the service was friendly. Our absolute favorite restaurant! A good friend, originally from China, introduced us to this place – and we've been in love with Das Lokal China ever since! Here you'll find authentic, delicious cuisine, generous portions, and excellent value for money. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We eat there regularly or pick up our food – and have never been disappointed. Our tip and favorite dish: number 5 :-)

The beef noodles are delicious and the boss is very nice.

I ordered fried chicken with vegetables and got greasy skin and gnarly meat. Absolutely inedible for me. In the end, I could only eat the rice and vegetables, and that was 15 euros. Never again!

Beef with onions is nice. Still, chicken fried rice is always preferred as a base!

A good place to eat. We liked both dishes we ordered, and it wasn't expensive, especially considering the generous portion. If you're a small eater, you could probably share one of the larger plates. The service was quick, both in taking the order and bringing the food, and everyone was very friendly. The atmosphere was nice; we were able to talk without it feeling too loud.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a colleague who said it was one of the few authentic Chinese restaurants in Nuremberg. I had the fish with two spice levels, which was quite spicy and tasted very good. They use a lot of Sichuan peppercorns, but the dish was still very good (I'm not a spicy food fan).

Delicious food for a nice price. A short distance from the Lorenzkirche you will find this cozy small eatery. You will be helped quickly and friendly and the food is very good, for those who do not like spicy food I might not recommend the restaurant as quickly. All in all I enjoyed it very much and I will gladly come back again!

There are dishes on the menu that I haven't seen at any other Chinese restaurant in Germany. My colon (I like to try unusual dishes) was delicious. However, it wasn't to my taste. All the other dishes were also delicious. The menu is peppered with several specialties. If you like to try new things and are tired of the usual Chinese food, you should visit this restaurant. We will definitely be back.

This restaurant is not authentic at all. You get the feeling they just watched YouTube videos to learn how to cook. Not the least bit spicy, not mind-numbing—just completely flavorless. The "Tofu with Thousand-Year-Old Egg" dish was a total disaster—fishy and disgusting. I ordered "Beef in Spicy Oil" (Shuizhuniurou), but I was served "Fish in Spicy Oil" (Shuizhuyu). The owner stubbornly insisted I ordered fish—even though my girlfriend clearly heard I ordered beef. The owner's attitude was truly outrageous! The cauliflower in the Gan-Guo was so tough, it could have been used as a weapon. That was the first time in Germany I was furiously full from eating alone.

The waiter asked us to wait outside. While we were waiting, a table of new guests appeared. From the conversation, we could tell that they had no reservations, but they were immediately guided to sit in the newly vacated seats. We asked why and were told we could sit down immediately if we wanted to share a table. Just like this, Germans can arrive late, but they will be seated immediately. Chinese people have to wait outside. The Chinese specifically discriminate against Chinese people.

Very disappointing! I ordered lamb from CHIBA and got almost nothing but bones and fat - absolutely inedible and a disgrace for the price. The taste was disgusting and it looked like it was just leftover food. Definitely gross. A personal recommendation, if you sell meat at a high price then please check that real meat is being served, not just bones and fat..

Eating grilled fish recently is different from before. The fish is no longer fresh and the quantity is small. The grilled fish is delicious, the fat intestines in the fat intestine noodles are average and not very special, the dry pot fat intestines are delicious. Strongly recommend the boss to improve this dish. But 4 dishes only cost over 60, which is really cheap. No photos taken. Still highly recommended.

The food is so delicious. We are not from Nuremberg, but when we are there we come there every time to eat. Authentic cuisine, lovely staff. We like to order the eggplant, Sichuan shrimp, mapotofu and squid in spicy sauce. Highly recommended for anyone who likes trying new things and spicy food!

Das Chiba fällt einem nicht direkt ins Auge. Durchaus muss man suchen bevor man das kleine, sehr schön eingerichtet Lokal findet. Beim Durchstöbern der Karte fällt sofort auf das es hier neben vielen bekannten chinesischen Gerichten auch echt Hausmannskost gibt. Kutteln, Blut und Schweinedarm findet man hier genauso wie Ente, Rind und co. Mein ehr konventionelles Gericht mit Schweinebauch war immer noch in allen Belangen besser als das Gewohnte. Die dunkle Soße hatte eine immense Tiefe und Dichte. Das Gericht ist mit einer Chili markiert was ich als sehr angenehme Schärfe empfand. Das Fleisch war unvergleichbar zart und aromatisch. Sicher war das nicht unser letzter Besuch! Was mir heute ebenfalls auffiel ist das das Lokal nahezu vollständig mit chinesischen Gästen besetzt war. Das ist für mich immer ein gutes Zeichen.
