The restaurant is generally nicely decorated with a pleasant atmosphere and a varied menu.
However, the one star is for the service and the food, or more precisely, how we were treated as "guests." I was there with two aid organizations, and the reservation was for 80 people. As soon as we sat down, it was clear that the service was completely unsuited for a large group. It took quite some time (around 30 minutes) for all the drinks to be ordered and distributed (at least at my table and the one next to me). After that, we were told we didn't have the full menu to choose from (which we hadn't known beforehand), but could only choose between fries with schnitzel and cake. Naturally, most of us wanted schnitzel with fries, and that's what was served. Well... after 3 HOURS, a colleague and I went to the counter to see where the food was. We saw countless plates of fries already prepared under the heat lamp, but the schnitzels were missing. Since one person at our table had only ordered a portion of fries (which seemed to be ready already), I politely asked the server to take them herself to give to that person, thus shortening their wait time. In response, I received only an annoyed and arrogant look from the woman, followed by an argument about why I wanted to get them now and that I should sit back down because she would bring them right away. She did bring them, but added another comment, saying that she "couldn't perform miracles." The fries were lukewarm and unsalted. When the schnitzel and fries arrived half an hour later (total wait time: 3.5 hours), I was completely disappointed. The fries were almost cold and unsalted, and the schnitzel was also completely unseasoned.
Overall, I can only recommend this restaurant, if at all, for groups of fewer than five people. I think it's outrageous to serve someone an incomplete and half-cold meal after a 3.5-hour wait and then charge €16 for it. Honestly, you're better off eating somewhere else; there are plenty of restaurants in Bad Wörishofen that offer better, cheaper food and friendly service.
La Baia is a cozy restaurant where you can eat exceptionally well. Carefully prepared dishes, a pleasant atmosphere, and impeccable service – highly recommended.
This is my favorite restaurant and I chose it for my birthday dinner. The food was amazing as always. Pizza was top notch, and so was the pasta. Tiramisù was fresh and homemade. Service is always quick and attentive, and the owner is welcoming. This place is a hidden gem and I truly recommend it if you're in the area. Sooo gooood!
This was our second visit today. Due to the pre-Christmas season, there were several large groups in the restaurant, which made it quite noisy. Although the waitstaff were very busy and our dessert arrived a little late, we were warmly welcomed and well looked after. The food was fantastic, as always. They cater to allergies and special requests.
Congratulations to the kitchen, as always! The pizza bread is unparalleled, and the homemade pasta is a must-try. The bruschetta is so authentic and generous that you won't be able to finish your main course! 🤪
During our stay near Munich Central Station, we found Surahi Indian Restaurant on Uber Eats and were very happy with our experience.
We ordered Chicken Jalfrezi and Chicken Tikka Masala, and both were flavorful, aromatic, and truly authentic. The main dishes come with rice, which is very convenient, and the portion is perfect for one person. We also tried the garlic naan and butter naan, which were soft and delicious.
We liked it so much that we ordered again the next day. The service was also very kind — when we asked for some raw onions as a simple salad, they included it for free, which was a very nice gesture.
I’ve added a few photos, but please don’t judge the food by them — I was too busy enjoying the meal and forgot to take proper pictures 😄
Overall, great food and great service. Definitely worth trying if you’re in Munich and craving Indian cuisine.
Half an hour ago, we went there ourselves and ordered duck rolls (sushi with duck and sauce) and rice with vegetables and shrimp in mango sauce. Very tasty and fresh. We've known Restaurant Huna for two years now. Always freshly prepared, good selection of sushi. Restaurant Huna is the best in Hadern!!!
We ordered takeout and were unfortunately a bit disappointed. The portions have become very small, which is especially noticeable given the relatively high prices. My meat was partially burnt, and the cucumber didn't look freshly cut, but rather like it was from the day before.
In addition, I received €1 less in change when paying, which unfortunately further reinforced the negative overall impression. Especially at these prices, I would have expected more attention to both the quality of the food and the service.
