COCO Munich in München

Very good food, but for us the price-performance ratio wasn't quite right. In the end we waited a long time, paid a lot and didn't really get full. But we really liked the ambience and service.

Food is ok, can’t say is bad. The beef’s tartar is wonderful but the other plate are normal but with a price tag of €10+, but it’s ok, if you don’t like this just don’t come to the restaurant. The part that I did not like is the service. The main waiter was not explicitly rude but borderline to that. I did not like it and I would not recommend it. In general, the super plus is the place that is very nice.

An exceptional culinary experience! I recently had dinner in this restaurant and I can only recommend it! The atmosphere is warm and very intimate, making it a perfect place for a pleasant meal. The service was simply impeccable, worthy of a 5 star. Our server was polite, distinguished, attentive and very professional. He even took the time to show us photos of the dishes to help us with our choices, which was really appreciated. We had a very pleasant time in a friendly atmosphere, accompanied by delicious cuisine. For my Canadian friends, I assure you that it is definitely worth the detour! An experience not to be missed!

I recently celebrated my 30th birthday at Coco. I was able to plan everything really well with the owner. From the drinks to the delicious food! When I arrived on the day of the party, the whole store was decorated, that wasn't discussed and I was really overwhelmed. I left the music for the evening to him and we were not disappointed. There was eating, drinking and celebrating. The day after I got messages from my friends saying that they thought the evening was amazing. Big THANK YOU!!!

While I agree with other reviews that the portions are quite small, the servers warn in advance that the portions are small. Nevertheless, in my opinion, the taste of the food could be better. When I came in, I was warmly invited and seated, I immediately ordered something to eat and got the food, but then... all the cellars disappeared. There are 2 waiters working in the restaurant, but there weren't that many guests to not notice anyone. They preferred talking to the regulars rather than new ones. Which is why I waited a long time for her to both pay and order the next dish. The location is good but high prices for the tiny portions. I can recommend it for once and then everyone can decide for themselves whether Coco is for them or not. I think that was my last time when I was in Coco.

A perfect evening! We had a babysitter and searched on Google for a restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine and that's how we came to COCO. Here we met Fami again, whom we met years ago in the Salo on Georgenstrasse. He ensures that you are not just a guest at COCO, but a friend, a part of the family. The chef conjures up incredibly delicious tapas, plus family with perfect service - there's nothing more to say about it. Again and again!!! Thank you!

I went to this restaurant for the first time tonight and I loved it! The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is very friendly and attentive, and the food is simply excellent. We went here for dinner after having a good lunch experience a while ago. Unfortunately this will be our last visit. At first we waited what felt like forever to order, only for the starter and main course to be forgotten “because there was a problem in the kitchen”. Ah yes. There were a maximum of 5 other tables occupied at the time. Strangely enough, all the guests who arrived after us got their drinks and appetizers quite quickly. We got our drinks after 30 minutes, starters came after about 80 minutes and the main course after almost 2 hours. There was no apology in between, but rather our inquiry was like a reminder “ah, there was something there”. What was also a shame was that many acquaintances were served very extensively and quickly by the service/owners (?) at other tables, while the other guests were only served when they had the time and the desire. Unfortunately, that was our impression. This means that the delicious food is not worth the small portions, the very long wait and the very inattentive service.

Super nettes Personal und sehr entgegenkommend. Wir waren mir unserer 4-jährigen Tochter dort und es wurde kurzerhand flexibel etwas für sie gekocht. Ich war schon mal mit Freundinen da und auch total vom Service begeistert. Das essen war lecker. Da viel los war mussten wir etwas warten aber auch hier hat das Personal super reagiert.

Very sweet owner. We only had a number of starters that were incredibly tasty and filling. I definitely recommend the scampi and pita bread. The food just tasted fresh. The service was really great. Had a lovely meal here and great drinks last night. Small menu but good food. Booked through The fork and should of got 30% off bill, however this wasnt applied didnt realise till after . Owner really cares about the food, drinks and setting. Reasonably priced and the tapas looked good too.

The organization of the evening was impeccable and demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail. The restaurant itself is very attractively designed – modern and cozy at the same time. The food and drinks were excellent. We were particularly impressed by the variety and quality of the food. Every course was a pleasure and the selection of drinks left nothing to be desired. The service was friendly and attentive, which rounded off the evening perfectly. Overall, our visit to Coco was a thoroughly positive experience and we can highly recommend it to everyone!

Were there with a larger group and the space is sufficient for Munich conditions. The climate would be cool but it was also bearable. The food was great, salmon tartare was absolutely delicious and my steak was medium as it should be, the chef definitely knows his job! A small, very cozy restaurant run by a young family. The ambience is modern and the concept has its own style. There are especially delicious Mediterranean tappas and good aperitifs! The restaurant was full and service and bar were quick and under control. It is really a perfect restaurant for dinner before going out in Maxvorstadt and the surrounding area or also privately for celebrations for up to 50 people. I would love to come back!!!

The COCO Restaurant & Bar offers a cozy atmosphere, delicious food and friendly and quick service. The portions of the main courses are not particularly large, so it is recommended to have a starter. We had ordered cappuccino, but unfortunately there was no milk. Finally there was a limoncello.

Die Auswahl auf der Speisekarte ist vielfältig und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Besonders empfehlenswert ist das argentinische Beef auf Pasta, welches einfach himmlisch geschmeckt hat. Der Service war ebenso beeindruckend. Das Personal war freundlich, aufmerksam und hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt haben. Darüber hinaus ist die Einrichtung stilvoll und gemütlich, was eine wunderbare Atmosphäre schafft. Ob für ein romantisches Abendessen oder einen entspannten Abend mit Freunden - das COCO bietet den perfekten Rahmen. Alles in allem kann ich es nur wärmstens empfehlen. Es war ein rundum gelungener Abend und ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch im COCO.

Terrible experience, I made a reservation more than 2 weeks in advance and when we got there there were several empty tables but the waiter only gave us the option of sitting in the two worst and most uncomfortable seats, he said that I couldn't sit at the other tables where I wanted to sit because they were busy... what do you mean, I booked more than a week in advance to have the right to sit in a good place, how far in advance do you have to book? We ate and left and no one arrived to sit at the tables he said were reserved, we ended up in a bad place for nothing, on the whim of the waiter... I arrived 16 minutes late because of traffic, rain and because there were no places nearby for I parked and tried to call to tell them about the delay and no one answered and when we arrived the waiter came to scold me saying that I should have called to tell them about the delay... he should have answered the phone... very little food for one person , and reasonable meat

Excellent service and definitely good food but the portions are a little too small compared to their cost. With just a Hauptgericht and a drink you won't leave feeling full enough. The place is small but well looked after and welcoming.

We went to Coco yesterday for a dinner with clients. Our table was beautifully prepared and the Mediterranean food was very tasty and fresh. The service was very attentive and extremely friendly. The reservation and arrangements in advance (we chose a 3-course menu) were quick and very friendly. A vegan version was also taken care of. I would come back at any time.

Always trying. Only small beer and smaller food. Filet steak looked like it was in shreds of gyros. A completely superficial service. The boss is almost arrogant. "I never forget anything." Even after asking twice, still no drinks. Top pub if you want to get really annoyed. Chic for the cat

We held a modest team dinner at COCO's yesterday and it was a wonderful experience. The appetizers, drinks, and service were excellent. I personally recommend the Mixed Appetizer with the salmon and beef tartar. I wish I would have also had that by myself for dinner. Yes it was that good. Thank you COCO team for making the event run so smoothly and helped it be so enjoyable. I also personally appreciate the staff accommodating me by speaking English for me and having an English menu on hand for me.

Today (a Friday) I had dinner at COCO Munich. When we arrived shortly before 6 p.m., most of the tables were still empty, but most of them had already been reserved. The service was very friendly and you should definitely eat an appetizer here. Unfortunately the steak was a bit too “done”.

The only positive thing: the food was delicious. Unfortunately the portion was tiny, considering the price. The waitress just said snidely: no starter? When we only ordered a main course. We were basically not served during our stay. We waited almost 90 minutes for the food.

It's nice there in itself, but we ordered tap water with our bottle of wine - it was simply billed for €6. Shameful and once again cheeky for Munich, that's why I wouldn't come again.

Eten was heerlijk! Een verstopte parel in München stad! Ober was vriendelijk, maar hij was alleen wat zorgde voor wat langere tijden. Hij was wel heel vriendelijk, dus dat maakte het weer goed.
