KLIMENTI'S Restaurant in München

Wow, what hospitality with such friendly hosts and impeccable service. The kitchen is fabulous and conjures up delicious dishes on the Isar River in the French Quarter. The wine list leaves nothing to be desired. There were two of us and we had a wonderful evening. Dessert was even more impressive, a real treat. We wish the Klimenti's continued success and a steady hand in the kitchen!

It was the last night of the holiday, we had been eyeing off Klimenti’s from our Hotel each day and decided to give it a try. It was a nice night outside, so most of the diners on the night we were there sat outside. The staff were really friendly and looked after us well, during the night there was a rhythm to the service: nothing seemed rushed, and everything came out in good time. The kitchen and floor team obviously know their craft. For wines we tried the Rosé Klimenti’s, the Grauburgunder, and the Syrah Impossible. Three little amuse-bouche arrived, just some simple watermelon and feta with a hint of dressing. I didn’t mind the flavours, but I do like places that do something like this, as it feels like a bonus and doesn’t seem like a hard way to welcome diners and make them feel like they are getting something for free and are in for something special. We were hungry, but not super hungry and so went straight for mains. We ordered: Beef Tenderloin - it was tender, lean, cooked to order and had a good sear. We got the Lamb Rump, the balance of herbs was good, and the lamb was very well cooked. We also got the Sea Bream & Prawns - this was also cooked well - on the whole the kitchen respects the quality of their produce enough not to overcomplicate things or push it too hard. It was a nice way to end our stay in Munich and we wandered back across to the hotel grateful for the meal and for how well the staff looked after us.

It was a perfect experience throughout! The food was meticulously thought out and absolutely fantastic, and the service was also excellent—nothing to complain about! We'll definitely be back.

Ribeye and tenderloin were seared to medium-rare perfection — rich, tender, and full of flavor. Crème brûlée was silky with a perfect caramelized top. Paired with a smooth, top-shelf tequila. Service was excellent. We’ll definitely be back.

My partner and I celebrated our anniversary and invited our friends to dinner at the Gasteig before the event. We all ordered drinks and starters (some of us only had two) as we didn't have much time. We didn't know that the restaurant's concept required you to always order a main course, otherwise we would have simply gone somewhere else. The head chef came out and explained this to us in a way that was very unpleasant for us. Okay, there was nothing we could do about it and it wasn't a pleasant experience. But then we had to wait over an hour for these starters and reminded the waiter several times that we had to leave on time as our event started at 8:30 p.m. The starters finally arrived at 8:20 p.m. after waiting for over an hour, and we had 5 minutes to eat before we had to leave immediately. When we gave the head chef our feedback, he became extremely rude and angry. I don't want to go into detail, but it was a very unpleasant experience for our anniversary, and we will definitely not be returning, nor can we recommend this restaurant, even though the food was really good. However, the chef should definitely stay in the kitchen or urgently attend a communication course on anti-aggression and stop insulting his guests. For us, it was our last time at Klimentis. It's a real shame...

Der Küchechef beschimpfte uns, nachdem mein Mann und ich beide statt einem Menu jeweils„nur“ zwei Vorspeisen (zu je ca 23€) bestellt haben. Er echauffierte sich lautstark, dass er so nicht seinen kalkulierten Umsatz machen würde. Anschließend ließ er uns 50 Minuten auf den zweiten Gang (die zweite Vorspeise) warten und hielt das Essen statt dessen unter der Wärmelampe warm. Insgesamt war der Besuch im Klimenti‘s ein Reinfall-„ - nicht zu empfehlen. Das Restaurant ist aus unserer Sicht völlig überbewertet

A lovely restaurant with delicious and artfully presented dishes and very friendly staff. The portion sizes are reasonable. The only thing to be aware of is the acoustics. It's quite loud in the room.

Die Speisekarte reicht von frischem Fisch und Meeresfrüchten über Steaks vom Grill bis hin zu hausgemachter Pasta – alles mit mediterranem Touch. Mete Klimentis, Koch und Inhaber, beherrscht sein Handwerk – das hat uns das sorgfältig zusammengestellte Menü eindrucksvoll bewiesen. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die hervorragenden Tatar-Variationen (Rind und Lachs), das perfekt gebratene Fleisch und die absolut schmackhaften Desserts. Die Weinbegleitung zum 3-Gang-Menü (freie Wahl aus der Karte) war eine echte Bereicherung – jeder Wein passte ausgezeichnet zum jeweiligen Gang. Ebenso überzeugend war der Service: Elida Shita-Klimenti, die Inhaberin, empfing uns mit einer Herzlichkeit, als wären wir Stammgäste. Wir fühlten uns rundum willkommen. Die Erfahrung war so positiv, dass wir während unseres Aufenthalts gleich zweimal im Klimenti’s gegessen haben – beide Abende waren rundum gelungen. Vielen Dank für die wunderbare Gastfreundschaft und das tolle Essen in so herzlicher Atmosphäre!

Food is an important part of our vacation – and at Klimenti's we were not disappointed. The menu ranges from fresh fish and seafood to grilled steaks and homemade pasta – all with a Mediterranean touch. Mete Klimenti, chef and owner, is a master of his craft – the carefully curated menu impressively demonstrated this. Particularly noteworthy are the outstanding tartare variations (beef and salmon), the perfectly roasted meat, and the absolutely delicious desserts. The wine pairing for the three-course menu (free choice from the menu) was truly enriching – each wine paired perfectly with each course. The service was equally impressive: Elida Shita-Klimenti, the owner, welcomed us with a warmth, as if we were regulars. We felt completely welcome. The experience was so positive that we ate at Klimenti's twice during our stay – both evenings were thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and the great food in such a warm atmosphere!

It's pretty rude to be reprimanded for only ordering an appetizer. Perhaps they should include a minimum order per customer on the menu.

On the recommendation of a colleague, we visited the restaurant on a Friday evening. I still have to thank my colleague because it was very, very good. We had different starters and main courses. Very well prepared, very seasoned... The service was very attentive. Everything fit.

Our visits to Klimentis are usually very spontaneous and yet we almost always get a table. A big compliment goes to Mete in the kitchen, his wife in service and his team for a successful evening! We had an absolutely unforgettable New Year's Eve at Klimenti's. The five-course menu was out of this world. 🌟 The scallops and the beef fillet were particularly excellent. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was welcoming. I've rarely seen my girlfriend so happy. Thanks to the entire team!

DO NOT COME NEAR THIS PLACE! They have the most overpriced and terrible service you can get in Munich. The staff is simply the rudest and most poorly trained I have ever seen in my life, they act like they are the ones paying you to eat there. My wife complained about the terrible service while she was still in the restaurant, whereupon the “gentleman” in the picture came up to her and yelled at her. She should have called the police immediately because he was verbally attacking her and trying to intimidate her. On top of that, it was a corporate event where she had to endure this violent and criminal reaction from this unstable person. You can expect to hear from me soon. If you think you can treat people however you want and get away with it, you are sorely mistaken.

Although the atmosphere is good, the service is the worst you can get. My company was holding an event at this restaurant and the service was terrible. While there was a gentlemen giving a speech, the waitress opened the door screaming interrupting his speech. It was one of the rudest things I've ever seen and it wouldn't be the last. Then, after that moment of shame, during dinner I asked for information about my dish, the waiter pointed to the table saying “it’s there” and left me talking to myself, he literally turned his back on me. TERRIBLE SERVICE. Food was good! In addition, instead of getting apologies for the bad treatment I received, the manager came to my table, made a scene SCREAMING at me, because what I wrote above, and, btw, I am a lady and I am not used to this treatment, especially from a man, so I was publicly disrespected as a customer and as a woman. He represents perfectly his staff (that would have a reason to be stressed) but he as a boss and manager HAS NO EXCUSE FOR HIS MANERS! I should have called the police when he was shouting on me.

I've literally been to all kinds of restaurants all over the world. But the experience at KLIMENTI’S is unique and breathtaking. It starts with the service. You feel like you are the only guest in the restaurant. I've never experienced anything like this before. You are welcomed directly into the family. The food speaks for itself: dishes perfectly tailored to the season, from starters to main courses to dessert. This is not a visit to a restaurant but a culinary journey for the taste and the eye. Accompanied by really carefully selected wines. After every dish I thought it was the best thing I had ever eaten. Well, I thought wrong, because the next course was even better. The entrecôte gets a very clear recommendation from us. You think you've eaten something like this before. No, you definitely didn't... that piece of meat was something very special. So tender and perfectly complemented by the side dishes. So Klimenti’s is a must when you are in Munich and is just as much a part of it as shopping in the countless stores in Munich. I would give 6 stars if I could! We'll definitely be back. We paid €150 for 2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 desserts, a bottle of Lugana and soft drinks.

The food was simply perfect, I can't put it any other way. The service also deserves a special mention. The team was attentive, warm and exuded the kind of professionalism you could only wish for. The stylish ambience of the Klimenti rounded off the experience perfectly. What is particularly impressive is the passion of the operators, which you can feel in every gesture, every detail and every dish. Here, hospitality is not only very important, but also lived and loved. My conclusion: The Klimentis is a restaurant that you don't just visit once, but like to come back again and again.

We celebrated our wedding at Klimentis and it couldn't have been better. The two owners, Elida and Mete Klimentis, supported us with advice and support. The Klimentis team conjured up a wonderful evening for us with fantastic food and very attentive service. Even during our previous restaurant visits, we always left the restaurant excited. Great, elegant restaurant with high-quality, modern Mediterranean cuisine. For me, Mete is one of the best restaurateurs in Munich. Warm, personal. The NY Brunch is also an absolute recommendation. Absolute top address in Munich.

We went on a Saturday evening and got a table outside. The service staff was very attentive and quick, definitely 5 stars. A colleague was also trained and this was conveyed to us quite charmingly and did not harm the service process. The greeting from the kitchen (melon with sheep's cheese and truffle honey) was a very good start. As a starter I had the scallops in a straw pastry coating on beetroot carpaccio - very delicate, with crunch and especially very balanced with the fruity sauce (mango/chilli). I would order again immediately. For the main course we had sea bream twice and pike perch on risotto - although the menu said different types of potatoes (pike perch with potato straw and sea bream with potato crunch), unfortunately all three of us got the same thing. Unfortunately, the sea bream was on the grill a little too long and was already slightly dry, but the taste was still very good. The risotto was on point and finely tuned. Because of the same potato side dishes and the slightly dry sea bream, 4 out of 5 stars. As a dessert there was the sorbet of the day (mango), which took a while to arrive, but tasted great. Overall a great evening, pleasant atmosphere, great service, good presentation, portion sizes also good - we would definitely come back.

As a native of Haidhausen, I can say with certainty that this is a very nice and very good restaurant! If you want to spend a quiet, beautiful evening as a couple, you've come to the right place. Mr. Klimenti looks after his guests very nicely and courteously. The personal greeting alone makes the stay very pleasant! The waitresses are also extremely nice. This is a great place to end the evening and enjoy the outdoor area in summer. The food was great, not only a feast for the eyes but also top notch in terms of taste. The waitress came and asked if we could continue with the meal. I found that very pleasant because you had time to "digest" and not have everything served at once like in other restaurants. Our stay was very pleasant and we would like to come back!

Worst service and attitude imaginable. Last Thursday we unfortunately visited this restaurant. The experience was really painful and hard to believe. As has already been mentioned, not to mention the food and the endless wait, we actually asked to split the bill. What's new ? you might ask. And that's when the door of humiliation opened: we were insulted, the waiter and the owner of the establishment shouted at us. I was so choked up and I couldn't imagine that someone could talk to customers like that. Well yes, you know, you can split the bill at Michelin star restaurants, and no one tells you anything like that. Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was a huge disappointment. The service was completely unfriendly from the start and the waitress turned out to be extremely rude. The quality of the dishes was mediocre, which is not expected in this price range. We also had to wait an extremely long time for the main course, which only made our impression even worse. To make matters worse, the situation eventually got out of hand when the staff even started shouting at us. This was particularly disappointing as one person in our group was celebrating a birthday that day. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant at all and will definitely not be coming back. It's a shame about the wasted time and money.

Starters only in combination with main course? Bread basket EUR 3.50 There are only pots outside...

My family visited the house one evening when the restaurant was very empty (there were 4 people living in a previous village and my family had 4 people). We ordered food and had to wait 40 minutes for the kitchen to finish cooking 4 meals. This is unacceptable for such an empty restaurant. When we complained about having to wait too long for the food, we received a very rude response. We asked to pack the food to take away because there was not enough time, but the staff did not agree, this can happen very badly in a restaurant. Invoice for payment is legally invalid, even though we asked to receive the invoice.

I stayed in Munich for 5 days and had to go here twice. What I assume was the owner was extremely welcoming and the restaurant itself is really cozy and the food was just amazing. I would recommend anyone to go here at least once if staying in Munich, I'd definitely come back to this restaurant if I ever go back to Munich

I had this restaurant on the list for a while, finally I had a chance to go there. The restaurant has a great location, many tables outdoors, very nice decorating indoor and an open kitchen. The food were good, nothing to complain…. but maybe I had to high expectations, I don’t know… except from the desserts, which were really great, there’s a lack of “wowww” effect. I had a grilled artichoke, and then Salad with grilled beef and shrimps . It was good, nothing to complain but the dressing could be better…. We were also unlucky that there was a big business dinner there with a big group of people and it was so loud….

Great service, the recommended wine went very well with the food. Everything about the restaurant was more than superb. I had a great time thanks to the very friendly service. Needless to say, the food was very delicious. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening here! The reception was extremely warm and attentive. You immediately notice that this is a family-run restaurant where the well-being of the guests comes first. The food left nothing to be desired, and we particularly liked the fact that the excellent products, both fish and meat, were presented to their best advantage and were not unnecessarily alienated. The delicious sauces are also worth mentioning. A reason for us to come back to Munich.

We've eaten here a few evenings now and have been extremely satisfied every time. The service is attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The food is always very good. I personally enjoyed the goat cheese on beetroot and the fish dishes are generally highly recommended. We would like to come again.

We came to this beautiful restaurant by chance and had a wonderful evening with excellent food and good wine. Perfect service and good atmosphere. It's great that there are still such good restaurants!

Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Die Vorspeisen mit Lachstatar und Jakobsmuscheln waren ok, jedoch nicht perfekt.die Jakobsmuscheln (2 Stück) waren eher zeh und überladen mit essbarem Dekor. Tartar war zu würzig, da man es ohne Brot nicht essen konnte. Die Hauptspeise mit Rinderlende und Surf & Turf waren perfekt gegart. Das Fleisch sehr zart. 2 Gläser offener Rotwein dazu und ein Schokoladen Soufflee. Mit 170.- Euro, eindeutig zu teuer. Also die Familie zu 4, müsste für ein Abendessen mit 400.- Euro rechnen, was früher eigentlich nur in erlesenen Restaurants der Fall war, jedoch nicht in einem Restaurant um die Ecke. Alles in Allem, kein stimmiges Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Ich möchte nur noch betonen, dass wir fast jedes Wochenende essen gehen und unsere Beurteilung schon mit einigen Vergleichen einhergeht.

The year is 2023, we are in Munich. After a tax increase on food in restaurants that came into force at the beginning of the year, prices have risen again. I find it difficult to rate restaurants poorly because you no longer find the prices reasonable. Klimenti's gave us a completely perfect culinary and atmospheric evening. The ambience is classy and tidy. The jackets are taken straight away and put into a closet, which further enhances the elegant living room atmosphere. I often dread going to restaurants, I feel like I'm being squeezed into a can. Not so at Klimenti's. The tables are at a comfortable distance from the neighbors. The food: great in terms of taste and appearance. We were 6 adults and had pasta, meat and fish. Every dish was just right. The starters were very good. We particularly liked the goat cheese on beetroot. Service was attentive and friendly, but not pushy. Polite and accommodating. I always find open insight into the kitchen particularly courageous and shows a certain self-confidence: Watch us cook, we can do it and don't hide anything. The restaurant is suitable for small and large festive occasions.

The owner of this restaurant is loudly forcing his customers to give up their coat racks because the chairs will be broken! Otherwise you can leave the restaurant! I think this is an arrogant impertinence. By the way, there is not enough space for the coat, the hanger on the coat was torn off and no apology was given. The food was nothing special, the risotto was too salty. We will definitely not visit this restaurant again.

An absolutely fantastic restaurant. I have rarely experienced such attentive and good service. Friendly, fast and courteous - hospitality is lived here. The food is also great - especially the fish soup.

Incredibly excellent, we had dinner for New Year's Eve, delicious dishes, the ravioli, wow, the meat which I asked to be cooked well, for personal needs it was extremely soft, a delight. We will definitely return also because the service was impeccable.

Ein wunderschönes Restaurant mit perfektem Essen und perfektem Service. Wenn man einen Wunschlosglücklichabend möchte sollte man diesen hier verbringen. Die Rinderlende ist einfach gigantisch so wie auch alle anderen Speisen die man hier bekommt. Die guten Weine runden alles in Perfektion ab.

Kurzfassung: fantastisch! Langfassung: sehr zuvorkommender, qualitativ hochwertiger Service (in der Form seit langem einmalig!), tolles Auswahl an Gerichten (auch für Vegetarier), Auswahl bester Weine zu einem qualitativ grandiosem Essen. Echte 💫💫💫💫💫

Die laute Atmosphäre des Restaurants wirkt etwas bedrückend und soll einen coolen Eindruck vermitteln. Ebenso wie das farblose Interieur ist auffallend, dass auch die Gäste vornehmlich in schwarz und grau gekleidet sind. Die Bedienungen sind betont freundlich und sausen zwischen den Tischen hin und her, was Unruhe vermittelt. Die Vorspeisen waren einfach und schmackhaft. Die Hauptgerichte bestachen durch perfekt gebratenem Fleisch und frisch gegrilltem Gemüse. Auch die Desserts konnten hier mithalten. Insgesamt ist das Preisniveau mit 220,-/3 Personen (insgesamt 2 Gläser Wein, 1 Wasser) unangemessen hoch.

Wir haben einen wundervollen Abend verbracht: das Essen war sehr leckere, die Weinberatung hat genau unser Geschmack getroffen, das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, nett... wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nettes Ambiente. Essen war ok. Schön angerichtet, für unseren Geschmack war allerdings das Tatar zu grob, der Fisch zu wenig und das Souffle zu hart. Service weitgehendst gut. Der Chef allerdings muss noch lernen, wie man mit Gästen spricht bzw. generell mit erwachsenen Menschen. Ziemlich bossy, das war leider sehr ärgerlich und unangebracht. Nachtrag: Guten Tag Herr Klimenti, es tut mir leid, wenn Sie an diesem Tag schlechte Erfahrungen mit anderen Gästen gemacht haben. Allerdings spiegelt das Verhalten einzelner nicht das Verhalten aller wider. Vielleicht hätte im vorhinein eine bessere Kommunikation zu Dingen stattfinden müssen. Dennoch war ihr Verhalten des Öfteren leider nicht angebracht, auch wenn ich den Unmut nachvollziehen kann. Beste Grüße
