Eine sehr nette griechische Familie, die mit exzellenter Küche aufwartet. Sehr empfehlenswert sind auch die Tagesangebote, die am Eingang auf der Tafel stehen!

Ich kann gar nicht aufhören zu schwärmen! Der Rosenhof ist ein absolutes Juwel unter den griechischen Restaurants. Schon beim Betreten wird man von einem unglaublich freundlichen Team empfangen, das jedem Gast das Gefühl gibt, etwas Besonderes zu sein. Das Essen ist einfach ein Traum, von den frischen Vorspeisen bis zu den herzhaften Hauptgerichten, alles schmeckt unglaublich gut und die Portionen sind sättigend. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top! Besonders mag ich den Biergarten, wo man im Sommer ganz entspannt sitzt, und im Winter ist es unten in der Kegelbahn richtig gemütlich, mit einem separaten Raum. Hier fühlt man sich einfach wohl – ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Portionen sind klein, Preise hoch. Beim Zahlen wurde sogar noch 50 Cent auf den Preis in der Speisekarte draufgelegt. Und wenn man kegelt, muss man sich das Essen selbst aus dem Aufzug nehmen, es kommt keiner, um mal zu schauen, ob alles passt. Ich komme nicht mehr.

Das Essen war sehr gut und reichlich,das Personal war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam ohne dass es aufdringlich wirkte, insgesamt fühlten wir uns sehr wohl. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Beste Qualität und herzliche Bewirtung. Wer gutes Essen und Getränke schätzt ist hier richtig. Die Preise sind sehr fair. Im Sommer eine tolle Terrasse zum Entspannen und Genießen.

Ich hatte noch nie so ein gutes Souvlaki, so saftig und hat so gut nach Grill geschmeckt. Und das Zaziki war auch hervorragend, noch nie so lecker beim Griechen gegessen. Uns hat es wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt. Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Ich habe meinen Geburtstag mit einer Gruppe von 28 Personen im Restaurant Rosenhof gefeiert – und es war rundum fantastisch. Der Service war absolut hervorragend: extrem aufmerksam, immer freundlich und durchgehend gut gelaunt. Man hat sich von der ersten Minute an willkommen und bestens betreut gefühlt. Trotz der großen Anzahl an Gästen kamen die Speisen nahezu gleichzeitig an den Tisch, was wirklich beeindruckend ist. Und das Wichtigste: Das Essen war super lecker. Jeder war begeistert, und es gab keinerlei Grund zur Kritik. Ich kann den Rosenhof wirklich jedem empfehlen. Ein so professioneller, herzlicher und reibungsloser Service ist heute keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr. Für besondere Anlässe – oder einfach einen schönen Abend – ist dieses Lokal eine absolute Top!

Extra praise for the Bayreuth beer they serve. However, prices have increased dramatically here as well.

I was thrilled with my visit to this Greek restaurant! The warm, inviting atmosphere is immediately noticeable upon entering. The service was very attentive, friendly, and always cheerful. The food was simply outstanding – fresh, authentic, and prepared with love. The tzatziki appetizer was a particular highlight, and the main courses were plentiful and perfectly balanced in flavor. The quality of the meat and the spice of the traditional dishes were also impressive. To finish off, we were treated to a glass of ouzo on the house – a lovely gesture that perfectly rounded off the evening.

Terrible service, you have to wait for a waiter who is simply not there for hours. If you want to eat, just go to another establishment.

Delicious food, not just Greek. For the savvy franc, there's also a Wiener Schnitzel. A large selection of fine appetizers and dishes that aren't available everywhere in the area. Friendly staff and host. The excellent fish and seafood dishes are particularly noteworthy.

Update 2025: I enjoyed eating here for years, but unfortunately that's no longer the case. I used to accept the price increases. Unfortunately, the last time my coleslaw was completely oversalted. When I asked the waiter to taste it, I got an unexpected response. To be fair, it wasn't from my family. Also, the food isn't always up to the standard I was used to these days. Unfortunately, I'll probably have to find another favorite Greek restaurant. Very tasty food, and friendly service. You can't get giros with fries for 8.90 anywhere else in the area. Well, the years go by, the food is still excellent, but the giros have now reached 13.50, which is still reasonable given the current situation.

The price-performance ratio is quite reasonable. A very large portion, including the salad, is definitely worth it. We certainly enjoyed the food. The dishes arrived quickly and were served by friendly staff. Card payments are accepted, and public transport is very convenient. We would definitely go back.

One of my favorite Greek restaurants. I like the "simple" gyro with fries best here. They start with a salad, which I've always enjoyed. In addition to Greek dishes, they also serve typical German dishes like schnitzel. The portions here are also quite large.

Special praise goes to the team, who were always there with a smile and rounded off the evening perfectly. The prices are absolutely fair for what's on offer – excellent value for money. And as a little extra, they even offered a glass of ouzo on the house – typical Greek hospitality! In conclusion: If you want to eat well in Nuremberg, you should definitely visit the Rosenhof. For me, a clear 5 stars – and I will definitely be back!

We were in Nuremberg for a concert and were looking for a last-minute option for dinner. found the Rosenhof on maps, and we were thrilled after the meal!!!!!! Table was no problem, even without a reservation, and the food is TOP CLASS, The service is always friendly and attentive. I can recommend this location without reservation. When we are in Nuremberg again, we will eat there again, then of course with a reservation.

We were there for the first time today. I have to say at the beginning the service was friendly but when I gave a friendly review we were completely ignored at the table. I also had a children's portion without fries or rice and without salad, only gyros with a bit of tzatziki and was allowed to pay the full price. I actually find that really outrageous... because I didn't take the side dishes and most Greeks are very accommodating. My friends had the salad with them and unfortunately there was a ready-made dressing on it, which I think is a shame. You could have done it yourself if the prices were so high. Regarding the quality of the meat, we said that we didn't think it was good, it was just very tough and dry, like you were chewing on the sole of a shoe. Instead of accepting the criticism, you end up being treated unkindly. The atmosphere is very bare and carelessly furnished. Very unfortunate.. Price performance is actually very expensive, I wouldn't come back!

We were at the bowling alley. This is located in the basement of the building and, like most bowling alleys, is already showing its age. The food arrives via elevator and must be brought to the table yourself. The drinks are in a self-service refrigerator at the train station. Food was excellent (champion schnitzel). The prices were good and the landlord was very friendly. If you don't let the ambience of the bowling alley put you off, you'll have fun.

We had dinner at the restaurant before an event. The service was excellent, and we were easy to reach by phone. The food, especially the appetizers, was delicious. Unfortunately, the ambiance wasn't quite as nice, but all in all, it's recommended.

Very nice and fast service. The restaurant is a bit old and could do with a renovation. Still, it was comfortable. Unfortunately the prices were quite high. We had a warm starter plate: four lettuce leaves, a very small bowl of tzatziki, an olive, two cherry tomatoes, three slices of eggplant, two slices of zucchini, two mini pieces of saganaki and a single zucchini ball. The whole thing for 14 euros. If you were slightly hungry there were gyros with rice and salad and suflaki with fries and salad. 13 euros each and clear. But that's what we wanted too. There was also a delicious ouzo on the house. All in all it was OK, but unfortunately not so good that we will come back.

I recently visited the Greek restaurant “Rosenhof” and was thrilled! The food was simply outstanding – authentic, fresh and incredibly tasty. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of dishes and everything I tried was perfectly prepared. Particularly worth mentioning is the beautiful, green beer garden, which offers a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy your meal in peace and comfort. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. From the first moment I felt warmly welcomed and excellently looked after. The hospitality shown here is truly remarkable. Another plus: We never had to pay extra for ketchup here, as mentioned in other reviews. Ketchup is available free of charge at Rosenhof and usually in bottles (Heinz 300ml) – a great service that I really appreciate! I can only warmly recommend the Rosenhof and am already looking forward to my next visit! ---

Average food at high prices. Atmosphere like in a sports restaurant. Ketchup for fries costs €1 extra :D Sanitary facilities are clean and tidy.

Food and service great - favorite Greek!

So the food couldn't be worse. I had Giros with rice, the pieces of meat were no bigger than a 1 cent coin and completely dry, almost straw-like. It seemed to me like some leftovers that had been quickly warmed up in the microwave. My wife's calamari was rubbery, inedible. Never again, we have a Greek who is a thousand times better in Nuremberg Röthenbach. Unfortunately I have to give it one star, otherwise you can't post it

Because of the good Google reviews, we visited the Rosenhof on our trip to Nuremberg and were not disappointed. Very friendly service, the starters were great and our main courses were simply delicious. The Suvlaki was excellent, the gyros were not greasy, but juicy and slightly crispy. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. If you like chic, you can go somewhere else. We have a clear recommendation.
