Super Essen,aber der Herr der Fliegen hatte scheinbar seiner Entourage heute frei gegeben mit dem Befehl "überfallt die Taverne im Tennisclub!" Ich empfehle dringen Fliegenfallen/Leimbinder aufzuhängen,dass man diese Epedemie eindämmt.

Diese Taverne hat ein sehr gutes und preiswertes Essen. Kann ich ruhigen Gewissens empfehlen

Haben hier gestern gegessen und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war gut und reichlich. Leider gibt es Fisch nur frittiert, mit Ausnahme von Calamari, die es als einziges Fischgericht auch gegrillt gibt. Daher auch nur 4 Punkte für’s Essen. Der Service war aufmerksam, flexibel und sehr freundlich. Die Terrasse ist großzügig und bei Bedarf beschattet. Da das Restaurant auf einem Tennisplatz liegt dürfen einem die typische Geräuschkulisse nicht stören.

Tennisplatzflair, netter Service, Pressfleisch aus der Tiefkühltruhe, das war nicht essbar, Fertigsauce am Salat, sowas mute ich meinem Magen auch nicht zu... Leider werden wir keine Fans, obwohl man sehr schön im Freien in der Sonne sitzen kann.

Das Gyros, der Souflakispieß und die fritierten Tintenfische waren ausgezeichnet zubereitet. Das dazu gereichte Zaziki und die Knoblauchkartoffeln rundeten das Gericht hervorragend ab. Preislich mehr als fair (ca. 18€).

Sehr gute deutsche und griechische Küche, super freundliches Personal, im Sommer lässt es sich draußen gut aushalten.

Immer top sehr gutes Essen und Service mit dem Chef unschlagbar gut.

In der Ur-Scholle schön, perfekter Biergarten… Taverne im Tennisclub…angenehm… bis…jetzt. Neuer staff, unfreundlich, trinken aber gerne mit Gäste und zwar mehrere alkoholische Getränken, die anderen Gäste können warten! Unglaublich laut… Wir waren mit einer Griechin zu Gast-sie fand das Essen richtig schlecht, wir als (ehemalige) Stammgäste sagen Hauptspeise okay, Vorspeise sehr viel weniger als sonst, kein Brot, Beilagensalat ertränkt in einer billigen Fertigsosse, kein Danke fürs Trinkgeld… vielleicht fehlt der Chef…seht schade!

Zu Beginn: Da ich zur Abholung bestellt habe, fallen Service/Ambiente weg und werden ggf. ergänzt. Von Anruf bis Abholung waren keine 15 Minuten vergangen. Die Portionen waren großzügig aber nicht zu viel. Begeistert war ich vom extra Zaziki. Die Portion war im Vergleich zu einem anderen Lokal sehr groß. Essen war top, Personal freundlich, der Laden sehr gut besucht. Gerne wieder, freue mich dort auch einmal vor Ort zu essen.

Ich war das erste Mal hier für eine sportgaststätte sehr gemütlich. Die Bedienung waren sehr freundlich. Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Portionen waren recht groß für mich fast zu groß das ist aber meine persönliche Meinung. Ich komme gerne wieder

Einfach griechische Gastfreundlichkeit mit lecker Essen

Die Taverne am Tennisclub in Altenfurt ist ganz klar unser absoluter Lieblingsgrieche! 🇬🇷✨ Egal welches Gericht wir bestellen… ob Kalamari, Garnelen, Souvlaki, Salat oder das Schweinefilet in Metaxasauce – es schmeckt einfach jedes Mal zu 100 % hervorragend. Besonders das Fleisch ist immer unglaublich zart, weich und saftig, genau so wie man es sich wünscht. Man merkt einfach, dass hier mit viel Leidenschaft gekocht wird und die Qualität konstant top ist. Macht auf jeden Fall weiter so! Wir kommen immer wieder gerne – meistens zum Abholen, aber die Vorfreude aufs Essen ist jedes Mal riesig. 😄

Besuch hier 4 Erwachsene/1 Kleinkind "griechischer" Salat OHNE Oliven/Peperoni/Zwiebel ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, Zaziki Vorspeise ebenfalls völlig nackig an Teller, Saganaki mit 1Gurken/Tomatenscheibe mit ital.Balsamiko, Hauptspeise 1x mit Zwiebel, 1x mit 3 Ringen, 1x Leber komplett ohne und 1x mit Röstzwiebeln+Kräuterbutter...wir haben den Sinn leider nicht verstanden den zum Schluss servierten Ouzo haben wir später auch noch berechnet auf der Rechnung entdeckt Man sieht uns hier nicht wieder, sorry

Sehr freundliches Personal, super leckeres Essen zu einem sehr fairen Preis.

It's a great place to go. Everything's perfect. P.S.: Lunch menu available Monday - Friday. However, it's closed on Tuesdays.

The calamari was delicious, the gyro was reheated. The Greek salad with balsamic dressing is also difficult. Nice outdoor seating and friendly staff, so it gets an extra star.

The food was very tasty, although the tzatziki used to be better. Service was very attentive and fast. The ambiance was good, but the table for six was a bit limited. We'll be back again soon. The same owners as before, "Die eigene Scholle" (The Own Scholle). Great place, good food, and friendly people. A bit hard to find... Always head towards the tennis courts.

Simply excellent: Lunch menu from Monday to Saturday until 3 p.m. Delicious dishes and a great selection, plus very friendly and attentive service. In my opinion, a clear recommendation.

By far the best Greek cuisine in Nuremberg and the surrounding area and I've already tried a few (and only because Christos was closed for so long). Christos is the perfect host, always very friendly, very nice and very helpful. The service is very quick and attentive, even when the place is full. I never waited more than 20 minutes for my food. Here the guest is very valued and we are happy to come back again and again.

There were 10 of us in the restaurant The taste of the food was ok but not what you would expect from a Greek restaurant. The side salad was a ready-made salad with a ready-made sauce. The main courses didn't taste really good, everything from fish to meat. There were also 2 hairs in the food, which we asked the waitress about and she said no one would work in the kitchen with that hair color, even though the lady had the exact hair color! Criticism was received very unkindly. The service was super listless and she pocketed the remaining money until it was pointed out to her that she still had to give something out minus the tip. So the first and last time is unfortunately a shame for Altenfurt as there is a lot of regular demand here...

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed on my last visit to this Greek restaurant. The food was of poor quality and did not meet expectations of Greek cuisine. In addition, the service was inattentive and unhelpful. Overall, not a recommendable experience. There was a hair in my food, which of course can happen. But when I brought this to the attention of the waitress, my concern was ignored and not taken seriously. No apology, no solution - that's not the way you want to be treated as a guest.

Absolutely, it's like eating out with friends. It's always delicious. I can only recommend it.

A simple restaurant. Can be recommended. A good zaiziki. The Suflaki was on point. The gyro was good. The salad was simple and fresh. The fries were delicious. Someone who knows something about cooking has made an effort here. Thanks for that.

We spontaneously went to the tavern and were immediately thrilled. The service was super nice, friendly, accommodating and the food, both the salad, the fish and the meat, were fresh and very tasty. Plus beer straight from the tap and a high-quality ouzo as a digestive. And the whole thing was absolutely worth the price. If we weren't so far away, we would come by more often.

Good as always, staff is also a dream.

One of the best Greeks in Nuremberg

In short, clear recommendation! I had bean soup, bifteki and souvlaki with fried potatoes (chips) Souvlaki: tender, spicy and seared but juicy on the inside, could be cut up on the skewer when pushed down. Bifteki: seared on the outside, spicy with herbs, juicy and buttery. My junior would have loved it as much as I did. Fried potatoes: you can taste that they have just come out of the frying pan, slightly crispy and lightly seasoned so that no one has over-seasoned them. The bean soup: A kind of quality feature, so to speak. Some places put a ready-made soup in the microwave, but here you can taste that the soup was on the stove just before. The white bread with it, airy, fluffy, delicious, simply perfect... even if it's just a soup, without soup I miss something in Greek. On the whole, I can't find anything that irritated me as a critical complainer. You feel comfortable, the noise from the street is pleasantly far away and hardly disturbs you, the atmosphere among the staff makes you smile and you relax. The wait was over quickly thanks to the salad, but we only waited 20 minutes between ordering and the plate on the table, very, very quickly considering that everything was made fresh. The same price as recommended, 2 people + drinks, ouzo included, €40, so really comparatively cheap. If you are looking for a good Greek restaurant in Nuremberg and the surrounding area, you will find it here!

Great host, we always enjoy going there. Very tasty food, relaxed atmosphere. Feels like “dining with friends”.

Had gyros calamari. Unfortunately, the calamari was cooked a little too long and the consistency was rubbery. The gyro meat was a bit too fatty for my taste and not crossy enough. But the ambience and service were good.

There were 15 of us in total, including two children in high chairs (making 13 who were served) Food came quickly and especially the little one didn't have to wait and got it first 👍🏽 The food was very tasty and especially the tzatziki was fresh and homemade 👌🏽 the group tried everything, we had sole, zander fillet, calamari (buttery soft), pork fillet (very tender 👍🏽), gyros (without pieces of fat 👌🏽) with bifteki and schnitzel with fries and a few other things ☺️ everyone was happy and we all enjoyed the food 👍🏽 Everything was organized and you can see the team's many years of experience 👍🏽 (unfortunately this is no longer a given, so I'm happy to mention it) Can only warmly recommend the tavern 👌🏽 I hope I could help you. Went to the tavern for the first time today, but definitely not the last time! Christos and his team gave us a very warm welcome, the whole atmosphere is very familiar. The food also tasted very good, for vegetarians I can recommend the warm starter platter! We also particularly liked the lamps ;)
