We were at LaCrêpe for the first time today. We had galettes, which unfortunately weren't very impressive. They looked appealing, but the taste was disappointing (no seasoning whatsoever). We ate them, but wouldn't order them again. The cappuccino had neither coffee flavor nor the desired milk foam. The double espresso had no crema, but it came with lukewarm tap water. Sorry, folks, but we expected more. 🙁
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A culinary highlight in Munich! Gabelspiel delights with modern, creative cuisine based on high-quality regional ingredients, making every dish an experience. The tasting menu is particularly recommended – sophisticated, perfectly balanced, and full of surprises. The ambiance is both stylish and cozy, and the service is warm, attentive, and professional. A restaurant that combines fine dining with a personal touch – highly recommended!
Food and service is first class. Best Chinese in the area by far and owner XI XI ( pronounced Si Si ) is outstanding in her hospitality. Her husband is a master chef and absolutely everything is hand made- from the delicious dumplings and the massive Spring rolls, to the Chilli sauce on the table. A1.
My only issue is seating. A number of times American personnel have been next to me and have used foul language loudly and proudly. Another unfortunate conversation to be exposed to is the ' work talk'. The problem is the seating is so tight it's impossible not to hear it when the person talking actually thinks other people want to hear them. We don't. If you get a work call during food- stand up and take it outside.
This is not only a problem in GG but in most of the restaurants in the area without outdoor seating. These places are very small and were built for housing. NOBODY WANTS TO HEAR YOUR WORK CONVERSATIONS.
Again I love the food and the service here- and if you're lucky enough to either be here when it's not busy or you have considerate neighbour's, Gourmet Garden is perfect.
Thank you Xi Xi !!
It's truly a shame to hear that Zum stillen Zecher in Rödensdorf will be closing.
As a Dutchman, my partner and I often ate there with great pleasure, always enjoying Petra and her family's hospitality. Without a doubt, Zum stillen Zecher serves the best schnitzel in all of Upper Franconia – a true delight every time.
It's especially bitter that the planned closure in December is due to staff shortages – a reason we're unfortunately hearing more and more often in the restaurant industry.
Knowing that the will to continue is there, but the strength to keep fighting for the family business due to the ongoing staff shortage is lacking, makes the situation all the more heartbreaking.
A family business like this deserves better – thank you so much for all the wonderful moments, the delicious food, and the warm hospitality we experienced there.
We wanted to try this restaurant and were very disappointed, especially since we had the opportunity to compare it to our favorite Vietnamese restaurant, CHI Dang, in Berlin. See the photos for comparison. The plates were presented without any care, and the food was below average. The price-performance ratio is unfortunately not right. This will definitely be our last visit to this restaurant.
I didn't eat anything, but the location is nice, and so are the options—whether it's a terrace, gaming tables, or the first-floor Barflavor with comfortable seating. Good value for money. Top!👍🏾
Great little restaurant and definitely recommended!
I had the herring with fried potatoes, and my boyfriend had the chef's schnitzel with mushrooms and baked with cheese. Both were delicious!
The food was freshly prepared (the schnitzel was freshly pounded) and lovingly served.
The owner and the entire staff are super friendly.
We will definitely come back here on our next visit to Reit im Winkl :)
And of course, we were allowed to bring our dogs into the restaurant.
