We happened to have dinner here with the kids one evening during our vacation in Garmisch. We liked the ambiance, the service, and the quality of the food so much that we returned another evening. We had pizzas, pasta, and risotto both evenings. For dessert, we had ice cream, crème brûlée, and tartufo. Highly recommended. There's a main restaurant where the kitchen is located, and then a beautifully decorated second, smaller building on the grounds with a few additional tables. We ate there both evenings. If we're ever in Garmisch or the surrounding area again, we'll definitely come back!

The reception at the restaurant was very friendly. The waiter assigned us a table in the adjacent building. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was very tasty. We enjoyed everything and will visit the pizzeria again on our next visit to Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Friendly service. When we arrived, it was still relatively empty, so we were lucky that we were able to order right away, and the food arrived quickly. The restaurant fills up quickly (even with lots of locals). Since the server was alone outside, everything took a little longer. We would come back anytime.

We walked into this place on a Tuesday, and at first glance, it looked completely fine — actually, quite nice. Unfortunately, our personal experience with the service that day was extremely disappointing. The staff were very slow, and the soup I ordered was tasteless and completely bland. After waiting 45 minutes, we finally received our two pizzas, but they were rock-hard and inedible. I had to send mine back. I can believe that this restaurant might be a good experience for other people, maybe at different times, but for us it was a very bad one.

The food tasted okay, but it took about 50 minutes to arrive, and the appetizer we ordered was simply forgotten and never served. You sit in a backyard (outside), and the ambiance is really nothing special. The staff takes a long time to serve.

I ate the grilled calamari, the portion was insignificant and also tough.

We've practically become a regular here. You can usually find a parking space on Klammstrasse. In summer, most people sit outside. In winter, however, it's also nice inside. The staff is cheerful, quick-witted, and serves everyone promptly. That puts everyone in a good mood. In addition to the changing daily menu (many seasonal products), there are a variety of pizzas and pasta dishes. Of course, there's also delicious fish and meat. It's often difficult for me to decide. They also offer senior citizen and children's portions. Something sweet is perfect to finish off – mmm, a tiramisu or a tartufo buonissimo! Reservations are always helpful.

Very tasty food at very reasonable prices.

An Italian hit – pasta paradise in the Alps! If love had a taste, it would be the rigatoni with mushrooms from the peperoncino. And the homemade Gorgonzola ravioli. We laughed, feasted, and wondered if we'd secretly wandered into a scene from "Eat, Pray, Love – The Garmisch Version." The rigatoni was so good that we briefly considered moving into the kitchen. The sauce was creamy, the mushrooms aromatic, the pasta perfectly cooked – even our taste buds did a Mexican wave. And the ravioli? They were so tender and yet so flavorful that for a brief moment we forgot how to speak. All we could say was "Mmm" and "Oh my God!" The service was also top-notch: friendly, fast, with genuine Italian warmth and perfect timing – right when you're wondering, "Where is...?" – and there it is. Maybe they're clairvoyant. Who knows. In short: If we could, we'd give it six stars, a round of applause, and erect a small statue in front of the restaurant. We'll definitely be back – and hungry! Grazie, Peperoncino! You've won our hearts (and stomachs)!

Special requests are not welcome. The chef refused to accommodate my very simple request, even though it wouldn't have been extra work or anything. All the ingredients were there, too. The customer isn't king here when it comes to this. The server was super nice and couldn't do anything about it. I had to get something else. The pizza was delicious, but we still wouldn't go back. The ambiance is fine.

Overall a really good restaurant but unfortunately our waiter had a very serious and unhelpful demeanour which made the experience substantially less enjoyable. Food was good, drinks and not too long to wait. Prices were reasonable

Good pizza, good service, sat outside

We had the Rigatoni dello Chef, which tasted absolutely perfect. Both food and drinks were served promptly in the inviting beer garden, along with bread and plenty of Parmesan cheese. The wait staff was also very friendly and very knowledgeable about their menu.

We had a salami pizza and a Hawaiian pizza, both of which were delicious. The atmosphere is really pleasant, and the service was very friendly. Very good value for money! 👍

We ordered and picked up pizza there several times. Very well prepared, base juicy and crispy and well topped. Great value for money. We'll always come back when we're in GAP.🙋

Absolutely clear recommendation! Great service, small but nice outdoor terrace. Spontaneously got a place for 2. Steak with penne all'arrabbiata.

Everything about perfection. The service was very accommodating. The two of us ordered a main course and it was served on two plates to share. On top there were rolls with oil and vinegar. The pizza tasted really delicious and was nice and crispy without being dry. Highly recommended!

Great little pizzeria, there are also some outdoor seating options (when the weather is good). We stopped here spontaneously to have something to eat (after the already good reviews). The food was very, very tasty. We ate pizza and were blown away by the dough especially ;)

Went to this restaurant for the first time today and were immediately impressed by the food. It was beautifully prepared and tasted incredibly good. The price-performance ratio was also great! The service was very friendly and attentive. The kitchen also responded to requests for changes and implemented them perfectly. I would give this restaurant 5 out of 5 stars without hesitation!!!

I recently visited Pizzeria Peperoncino in Klammstraße 14, Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It’s a cozy spot known for its authentic Italian cuisine, with a menu featuring stone-baked pizzas, pasta, antipasti, salads, and meat dishes. The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere, and the service was welcoming, but there was not enough staff for all of the guests as the dinner rush starts to set in. Also, the tables are staked very closely together, making it difficult to enjoy an intimate meal, especially when on one side you have someone sick coughing and blowing their nose every minute, and on the other side a child throwing food from the other table 😬 Their specialty pizzas, like the Emiliana with prosciutto, Parmesan, cherry tomatoes, and arugula, stand out on the menu, and the lasagna is quite tasty. My carpaccio was delivered half frozen, but in about 5 minutes it became more manageable. The food was pretty good, but not extraordinary—good quality, though it didn’t leave a lasting impression. For its price and reputation, I expected a bit more in terms of service and quality. The restaurant’s location is slightly off the main path, but it’s easy enough to find. The hours are convenient, open from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, except on Wednesdays when it’s closed. If you’re in the area and craving Italian, it’s worth a visit, but I wouldn’t say it’s a must-see destination, especially with many other Italian options in the vicinity. We were too far to have dinner here. We got a place in the next building. Service was nice but could have been quicker. Quality of the food was very good. However, the spices were missing from the pizza. It tasted high quality, but lacked good taste. Otherwise satisfied.

We ate Pizza Funghi and Tonno – both were delicious! There was pasta Napoli for the children, which also tasted excellent. Although the store was very busy, the service was friendly, attentive and child-friendly 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 We'll be happy to come back!

The pizzas, bruschetta and garlic bread are wonderful. We came here twice during our vacation and will definitely visit the restaurant again on our next visit to Garmisch Partenkirchen. The portions are generous and filling, and the price is absolutely great! The service was wonderful and welcoming, nothing wrong with the entire stay. Gladly again!

I had a Pizza Vegetariana, which unfortunately tasted very bland. Neither the dough nor the toppings were well seasoned. Salt and cruisers were definitely missing.

We never got to the food, because the waiter is ALONE there, with full place. As i understand from the comments, it is always like that. So we have waited for 20 min, but no one ever came even to ask us what we would like to drink. 🤷🏼‍♀️

This place is amazing! Went for first time last night ordered all kinds of food to try a variety of dishes, lasagna, tortellini, pizzas, garlic bread…it was all amazing!!! The staff was very kind and the restaurant was immaculate. Would HIGLY RECOMMEND!!!

We ordered 62 Risotto af Frutti di Mare seafood risotto, 29 Frutti di mare seafood pizza and 52 Tortellini alla Panna white sauce tortellini. They were all delicious and highly recommended!

Out of the fine days we stayed in Garmisch we ate 3 days at Peperoncino. Lovely place with friendly people, good service and very nice food, we had starters, spaghetti an other day calamaris and very nice pizza. We will definitely come back again

The pizza was ok, nothing special. The service was slow, we had to ask four times to the server to pay. On his defense it was only him for the entire restaurant.

Came on a Saturday with no reservation and with our dog, we were promptly sat on their patio. Service, food, cocktails were very good, and everything came out quickly. We started with the garlic bread which was fresh and tasty. My husband ordered the beef tip penne pasta, I had the shrimp scampi - both very delicious. Our daughter ordered a salami pizza, also great.

Came here out of curiosity and because the pizzeria I usually eat at was packed with football fans, which isn't exactly my choice. So we stopped by here. Good choice, in retrospect. The waiter was friendly and accommodating, but helplessly overloaded. Food - for Garmisch standards - at a TOP LEVEL. Chapeau, the chef has mastered his craft. The price is completely justified because you won't regret it.

Wonderful food! We came to Garmish for 4 days and twice we chose to go to this restaurant. Wonderful tomato soup and bean soup. Excellent seafood spaghetti and good spaghetti bolognese too. Large hot and expressive dishes. Great attitude. We really liked it. recommend
