Classic Greek restaurant with a varied menu and a large selection of fish and meat dishes. The service should be something for the guests give more time to study the map.

Absolutely outstanding Greek restaurant! Food came quickly but was of remarkable quality. Rarely have we been able to eat so well at a Greek restaurant. Gyros, souvlaki, fries (outstanding!), the salad on the side and the bread were a poem. Service with a smile (and scary amounts of ouzo) and very real prices when you compare the quality and the location. Tables are also competitive during the week. Recommendation at any time!

Surprisingly, you could get a seat even without a reservation. Food good and with a short waiting time. Ouzo before and after your meal for free!

Unfortunately I have to adjust my review from a year ago. This shows AGAIN that first impressions are not always correct. We were there on a Sunday, I checked the opening times on Google beforehand and it said that it was open all day on Sundays, this was updated 2 weeks ago so we were there at 1:40 p.m. We were greeted very nicely with the information that lunch break was at 2:30 p.m. The waiter then disappeared and didn't pay any attention to us at first, another was standing at the counter with his cell phone and wasn't interested in us either. At some point the waiter who had disappeared came and so we quickly ordered our food, literally stuffed everything into ourselves and felt bad. No more warmth and coziness like last year. At 2:15 p.m. the first employees brought their own food into the dining room and made themselves comfortable. Unfortunately the food wasn't that great anymore, the gyros were cut like kebabs and unfortunately cold. The appetizer platter was ok, but we couldn't enjoy it. There won't be a third time. We are used to something different from Greeks. REVIEW FROM LAST YEAR: Very bright, modern and warm interior. Service immediately welcomed us warmly and was very attentive. The food was very fresh, tasty and came to the table hot. We felt very comfortable.

Another Greek restaurant that only partly deserves the name. A part of the good Greek cuisine is taken, the opinion of many Germans is added and the whole thing is implemented poorly. Filled with meat, but poorly grilled. Accompanied by a small mixed salad plate, carelessly put together, salad dressing poured over it; a relic from the 80s and 90s. Everything was still working and that A nice atmosphere would have compensated for this. But then came the service. As a person who was blessed with a Greek wife and was often able to enjoy the hospitality of Greek people and restaurateurs, I was horrified. The service was completely uncoordinated and it was a miracle that no one tripped over anyone else. You can't give the guest an experience of good gastronomy. There's no need to mention that the price wasn't worth it this evening, more than €120 for the three of us.

We ate there because of the good reviews. Unfortunately we cannot share the 4.7 stars. The gyros was far too fatty and soggy. But the service was friendly.

Mass instead of class! Gyros way too greasy, not brown at all! Meat quality of the pork fillet is borderline. Service way too fast to get tables free again. Bread and tzatziki are simply cleared away without asking if you still want to eat them. We travel a lot with food, including Greek. This Greek guy was the worst ever! The Quzo was also a cheap version and tasted musty. The side salad was the equivalent of a salad with Wiener Schnitzel - no coleslaw!

We stopped there on our way home and what can I say, it's all a 10/10. The service alone was so attentive and totally friendly. Everything tasted incredibly delicious! Clear recommendation from me and my friend. We will come again when we go to Tegernsee :)

We were here on vacation and, according to reviews, high-quality Greek. I have to say straight away that the Greeks in our village have better and much tastier dishes. Bland grape leaves that could be spiced up a bit and dry chicken meat. The salad that came with it was also more fake than it was and very bland. I ordered pasta with feta and asked if I could have extra broccoli with it. When billed, these cost 7.50 euros. For five pieces of broccoli…The bread and Athenian Sprizz were delicious.

Conservatively, I was at well over 50 Greek restaurants in Germany. After my third visit to Nefeli within 14 days, I can only say that Nefeli is one of my top 3 Greeks in Germany, alongside the Mytropolis in Leipzig and the Kypros in Heide. The cuisine is absolutely outstanding. The lightest Greek dish is also the heaviest - namely the tzatziki and that is a poem here. I feasted extensively on the menu and from the second visit at the latest, the atmosphere could be described as familiar, so a huge thank you and greetings to the team. I'll be happy to stop by again at the next opportunity! Highly deserved 5 🌟.

Centrally located Greek restaurant as a nice alternative to the ubiquitous breweries. About 5-10 minutes walk from the lake shore. No 5 points for the ambience, as we found it to be very loud, which is due to the fact that it is a very popular and well-attended restaurant (reservation is recommended). The food was delicious, the portions were generous. Particularly delicious: the moussaka (so far the best we have been served in Germany) and the bifteki with metaxa sauce. Also very tasty, unfortunately not completely heated through: lamb shank with linguini (very tasty tomato sauce, but the meat inside was only lukewarm - a shame). Any time.

The Nefeli Restaurant in Rottach Egern is really good. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. You feel like you are in Greece and yet you are in beautiful Bavaria. The food tastes very tasty. We also found very tasty vegetarian dishes, e.g. B. Briam. The lamb shank and the fish are also highly recommended.

Liver not quite through gyros but a bit cross but otherwise good

We reserved a table here at short notice, with a somewhat grumpy man, but friendly and it worked 😃 We sat outside in the sun, 🌞 the ambience... yeah... tavern is hip, as described 👍 Nice service...an Ouz in advance...hui...😄👌... The food was delicious 😋, had a mixed plate, ok 👌, meat good roasted flavors, juicy, calamari good...no rubber, well seasoned 👍👍....biiiiissl lukewarm, a little hotter please 😉. Plus a beer. Mistress had linguine with tomato sauce and sheep's cheese, they were ok 👌, but also a bit lukewarm...hmm...guys a bit more heat. The ouz and the delicious bread in advance were not charged and, I think it's good...I know differently 😀 All in all ok, a little improvement then great. But we'd love to come back 👍👍

We were there on Sunday evening, except for the completely over-salted potatoes, the food was good. The portions are rather small - especially given the prices. The service was attentive and friendly but completely understaffed, so it always took a while..

Like a short vacation in Greece! Have been to the Nefeli tavern several times, always super friendly, helpful and very fast service and the food is a dream, whether it's a starter, main course or dessert. Everything fine !!! And the atmosphere in the tavern is like in Greece. We can recommend this tavern/restaurant to anyone visiting or living in the area. The Nefeli also has a really nice terrace where you can eat. We would recommend table reservations.

Best Greek food outside of Greece.

Nefeli has become our favorite restaurant, even though our return journey takes an hour each way. But it's more than worth it to us. You feel welcome and perfectly cared for. The employees are super nice and the food tastes excellent. The selection is plentiful and special requests are no problem. In any case, we always enjoy coming here. Unexpectedly cozy Greek tavern on Lake Tegernsee. Excellent food (the Briam was a delight), very courteous service and a touch of a Greek holiday. We will be back! Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ για το όμορφο βράδυ.

Waiters were super nice including ouzo on the house. The food was also very tasty, I can only recommend the gyros with calamari. Price-performance is great! When we're back in the area, we'll happily eat there again.

Sehr schönes Ambiente und sehr sehr freundliche Bedienungen!!!! Das Essen war auch sehr lecker. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Lautstärke. Aber das Restaurant war an diesem Tag sehr gut besucht.

I had a cold starter plate. 3 small beetroot slices, various spreads. Some of them are clearly too old and the taste is sour. The bean salad was inedible because the beans were already fermented. A tingling sensation in the mouth means that you should definitely not eat it. Unfortunately, the waiter did not respond to the complaint in any way. Therefore not only the food is poor but also the service. After visiting the restaurant, we went to a café to warm up. Unfortunately, there was also a lot of savings on heating costs.

Wir hatten heute von der Mittagskarte das SIuflaki von der Hähnchenbrust (mit feinem Grillgeschmack) und das Gyros mit Käse überbacken in einer cremigen Paprikasoße! Beides sehr gut und auch der Service war nett und freundlich!

Das Lokal ist sehr liebevoll und nach traditioneller griechischer Art eingerichtet. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

Was soll man sagen…einfach ein Traum. Selten so toll, lecker und qualitativ hochwertig Griechisch gegessen. Von der Begrüßung bis hinweg zum Essen, alles ging schnell war lecker und man kümmerte sich zuvorkommend um uns Gäste. Das Fleisch war zart und von höchster Qualität. Der Salat nur von frischen Zutaten und das Tzatziki ein Traum, cremig pur. Hier merkt man, dass der Gast im Vordergrund steht und man alles für seine Zufriedenheit ermöglichen möchte. Das Restaurant ist Stilvoll, hochwertig & modern ausgestattet, aber man fühlt sich auch gleich wie in einer typischen Taverne. Waren Urlaubstechnisch auf das Restaurant gestoßen und haben somit den besten Griechen entdecken können.

Schönes, modernes Ambiente und wunderbar zubereitetes, klassisches, griechisches Essen zu moderaten Preisen. Wir habe selten so gut gegrilltes, nicht ausgetrocknetes, zartes Fleisch gegessen.

Die Griechische Taverne Nefeli ist nicht nur eine super Alternative zu den typisch bayrischem Restaurants in der Nähe, sondern auch ein echter Glücksgriff. Trotz späten Erscheinens wurden wir freundlich empfangen und bekamen noch einen hübschen Tisch für vier Personen. Der Service ist schnell, zuvorkommend und hat immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Der Fachkräftemangel ist scheinbar noch nicht angekommen, denn trotz starken Betriebes ging alles recht flott. Das Essen ist ein Traum. Der Salat zum Beispiel ist sehr frisch und das Joghurtdressing zum Niederknien. Die Gyros und die Hähnchenspieße waren auch sehr lecker ebenso wie die vegetarische kalte Vorspeisenplatte. Abschließend möchte ich noch die sauberen Toiletten und die gemütliche Atmosphäre - dank typischer Musik - hervorheben. Alles in allem kann ich die Taverne nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Meine familie und ich waren spontan am Tegernsee spazieren und sind zufällig auf Nefeli gestoßen. Der Service und das Essen waren hervorragend!!! Glücklicherweise saßen wir draußen auf der Terrasse und konnten das volle Ambiente noch im Oktober genießen.
