Egerner Höfe Hotel in Rottach-Egern

A very nice hotel with an excellent location, a good breakfast, and a fantastic wellness area. The "Small Room" lives up to its name—very stylish, yet truly compact. Air conditioning and an exhaust fan in the toilet would have rounded out the comfort for a 5-star hotel. Overall, however, a relaxing stay—hence the 4 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An indescribably beautiful hotel with very attentive service and a fantastic spa. Breakfast on the terrace is a perfect start to the day.

Very friendly and, above all, authentic staff! Great sauna sessions and infusions. The hotel manager deserves special mention; he's not only extremely present, but also approachable and engaging at all times. It's rare to find a hotel manager who engages so actively with his guests and personally ensures that everything runs smoothly. We'll be back!

We felt right at home. The service and ambiance were fantastic. Everything was done to make you feel completely at home. Great rooms, fantastic spa.

My parents and I celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary here. The hotel staff are truly SUPER. Customer-oriented and help you wherever they can. The rooms are good. The beds are excellent. The bar is well-stocked, and the cocktails are very well mixed. The only downside is the breakfast. It's the same every day, with no great cheese selection. The sausage looks like it came from a discount store. The lady who prepares the eggs is truly exceptional. The rest of the breakfast isn't befitting a hotel of this kind. We've certainly experienced better. The Dichters gourmet restaurant is highly recommended instead.

We spent a wonderful weekend at this hotel. The first-class service and the excellent breakfast buffet are particularly noteworthy. The spa area also impressed us. We'd love to come back!

The hotel is superbly equipped and offers everything you need for a relaxing break. The location is perfect – right on the lake, allowing you to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The food at the hotel was excellent. Every dish was a delight, and the selection left nothing to be desired. I would especially like to emphasize the friendly and attentive service of the entire team. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. Thank you for the wonderful weekend! We felt completely at home and will definitely come back. I can 100% recommend the Hotel Egnerhöfe!

An absolute idyll on Lake Tegernsee – the Egerner Höfe hotels represent understated, stylish luxury that is soothingly understated yet of the highest quality. It was precisely this "quiet luxury" that we particularly enjoyed. We spent a long weekend there and celebrated a birthday – and were looked after warmly and professionally throughout. The spa was without a doubt our personal highlight: 1,500 square meters of pure relaxation with a view of the mountains, a spacious pool, various saunas, and soothing treatments that calm body and mind. Perfect for taking a deep breath and relaxing. A place where you immediately feel at home – full of attention to detail, with outstanding service and a keen sense of genuine hospitality. We'll be back.

A gem!! Rarely have I given a perfect 5 star review to hotels...till now! The Egerner Höfe deserves it 👏 I stayed here recently during a work-related trip and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality, the ambience and the food. Ideally located at the foothills of the Alps, practically next to the Tegernsee lake, one can't ask for a better location and views from this beautifully designed hotel. The twin villages where this hotel is located are absolutely lovely and a tourist delight (and unfortunately extremely crowded during the summer weekends). A must visit place for those interested in idyllic holidays or a business meet away from the hustle bustle of Munich or Berlin. A must-visit place!!

Unfortunately, we only stayed at this wellness oasis for one night! The food was so incredibly delicious. Especially the schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn, both simply delicious. The service was perfect, and the spa was fantastic. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed at the Parkhotel Egerner Höfe this weekend. The visit was worth every cent and every minute. The staff is super nice, the food and service are really at the highest level. An absolute recommendation!

Because of my job, I travel to a large number of hotels (from budget to luxury) throughout the year and the Egerner Höfe were really extremely beautiful in their class. We were there with a baby and everything went smoothly. The fact that children can no longer go into the pool area after 5 p.m. didn't bother us much, but it was quiet there during the day during our stay. Food & service top. Sauna affusion too. We booked the courtyard cinema, which was our highlight in the evening.

We spent four wonderful nights in the “Egerner Höfe” hotel. We received an extremely warm welcome and every single member of staff, be it at reception, in the spa or at breakfast, was extremely friendly and accommodating! The breakfast is amazing in terms of selection and quality. The spa area is clean and leaves nothing to be desired for relaxation. The rooms are modern and have a large balcony. It was a stay that we will not soon forget.

As always, a wonderful stay for us and our dog. The wellness area offers pure relaxation and there are treats for dogs and a great dog bed in the room. We would particularly like to highlight the super nice lady at the reception - Johanna Di Goetano :-) Thank you!

We celebrated our dream wedding in the associated Alm with an overnight stay in this dream hotel. From the planning to the end of the wedding, everything was just great. The complete service (a huge thank you to Cora, who implemented every one of our wishes and was very loving) as well as the location, food and rooms were super great. From the first greeting to the last moment of our stay, our every wish was met. The customer service is impeccable - the entire team is not only extremely professional, but also warm and attentive. The rooms and the alpine hut are exquisitely furnished and offer the highest level of comfort with a breathtaking view of Lake Tegernsee. The wellness area is in a class of its own: perfectly maintained, generously designed and with a variety of offers that leave nothing to be desired. We were particularly impressed by the attention to detail - from the small touches in the room to the personal approach. The cuisine also deserves the highest recognition. Every dish was a delight and the selection was outstanding. It is clear that quality and hospitality have top priority here. This hotel is not just a place where you can relax - it is an experience in a class of its own. Simply beautiful! The best thing is the extremely friendly staff. You get the feeling that people enjoy working here, but that's not so often the case anymore. Fantastic spa area. We were there with our 1 year old baby. 24/7 room service. Everything we needed was provided to us, whether porridge or warm milk. Thank you very much for the great stay!

Very nice atmosphere and modern and at the same time traditionally furnished. Wonderful in the run-up to Christmas. And a great spa. We'd love to come back!

Compared to other hotels in this category, we were very disappointed here. The deluxe room had a nice view and a pleasant size, but the bathroom was not separated by a door, so all the steam from the shower spread around the room! We found it even worse that you can't regulate the heating yourself, but have to call reception! IMPOSSIBLE! Furthermore, we were woken up between 2:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. and kept from sleeping because a group was partying loudly and smoking under our balcony. After our request to stop disturbing the peace was ignored, we asked the reception for help. Afterwards it was quiet, but the night was over for us. Such a crowd in this hotel! We didn't expect that! A larger table in the room would have been nice. At breakfast we would have expected good baked goods for the high overnight price. These tasted like they were from the previous day and had been baked again - a shame! We were shown that there is another way in the excellent Restaurant Töpfe! Excellent baked goods were offered there the evening before! Then why not for breakfast? The rest of the breakfast offerings were okay. The whole staff in the house was positive; everyone was very nice, friendly and attentive. We would particularly like to highlight the gentlemen from the luggage and valet service. We also really liked the beautiful Christmas decorations in the hotel and in the garden.

Nice room, super nice service. We had a nice weekend. Price a bit expensive.
