The Macksl is by far the most beautiful bar in Rottach Egern. A very cozy and yet very awakening and fun atmosphere where you feel very comfortable. A top establishment with very tasty and varied food. The drinks also adapt to the season and are prepared very well. In summer there is a beautiful terrace and the owners and staff give all guests a warm, familiar welcome. I always enjoy coming back as a guest ☺️🌞🫶🏼

Salad and pasta were very tasty. This is how I imagine the perfect Italian cuisine. The landlady welcomed us warmly in the small dining room. It's a good thing we had a reservation because the dining room is small but very comfortable. The Primitivo was also delicious. Absolutely recommended!

We had our wedding here in September (and stayed for 3 days, 4 nights) and every single thing about it was absolutely PERFECT! Our wedding coordinator - Lisa Wollmann - was exceptional. She's absolutely excellent at her job The entire Überfahrt staff were incredible - from the man who brought our bags to the room, the woman who steamed my wedding dress, the cleaning staff, the wait staff who worked There were also so many personal touches woven throughout our stay (a congratulatory dessert, flowers, champagne, and handwritten note waiting for us in our complimentary upgraded suite, congratulations cake delivered to our suite the day after the wedding, and so much more).

The boss's request when we made our reservation by phone was a bit strange: we would like to come at 6:30 p.m. instead of 7 p.m. We agreed, but then discovered that on that Tuesday in November there were only two other guests in the restaurant besides the two of us. If it had been full, we would have understood this division into “layers”, but as empty as it was we felt confused. The waiter tried to explain it to us verbosely, but for me that's disrespectful to the guest. However, the food and service were first class.

Very good food, the service was very friendly and competent. Unfortunately the restaurant is closing soon, but definitely go and enjoy the great food and the ambience 👍

The crusty roast and dumplings are available here Focus - pretty much any type and combination imaginable is possible. The restaurant is also famous for this. And rightly so: the classic versions are particularly great. The more “special” ones are very intense but delicious. But definitely try the sausage salad and Kaiserschmarren! Very friendly service.

Super beautifully decorated Greek restaurant that is reminiscent of the proximity to the sea in Greece. The food selection is extensive and varied. The dishes are served quickly and the taste is also impressive. Definitely suitable for a casual meal with friends or family.

After a hike to Vilsalpsee, we stopped at the Hauben Taucher and were served very friendly and courteous. The location is just fantastically beautiful and you have a great view of the lake (frozen over in February and you could walk across it). The menu is very appealing, everyone will find what they are looking for here, including vegetarians. From 5 p.m. you can also drive there to eat. You then have to report to the barrier. There are sufficient parking spaces available. We had the Kaiserschmarren, which was very tasty.

We were walking around when saw this place, we were not very hungry but still thought of having some Gluh wein and went there. This place had many things to offer. Probably the best Curry Wurst I have eaten anywhere. Flammkuchen was great as well. We also ordered potato soup which we loved too. Overall everything was great with amazing service. I would definitely suggest this place if you are in this part of Tegernsee.
