Qaduri Pizza in Rottach-Egern

The restaurant has been open again for about a week under the name "Au Lack 51." Very good service, excellent food, and a similar wine selection.

Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the food, because it didn't happen. We wanted to ask for a table for two, but the waitress walked past us several times and ignored us. We went to the bar, but there, too, we were ignored. So, we decided to leave and found a very tasty and highly recommended brewery across the street. So, a blessing in disguise. The atmosphere at Monte Lago wasn't very inviting either. So, if you don't need service or a welcoming waitress, this is the place for you.

Value for money is a solid 6. I ordered currywurst without fries, even though the menu listed it as being served with fries. When I got the bill, the very flippant waiter said it was the same price (1 currywurst with just the sauce costs €14.50!!!) and he wouldn't deduct anything. That's cheeky.

Chirping birds, the view over green hills, the aroma of the grill, and then that steaming pan of Kaiserschmarrn. It doesn't get more alpine than this. You completely lose track of time. And when the food tastes as good as it does here, you won't want to go home.
