A true piece of Italy near Erlangen! The restaurant is run by two warm Italians who work with passion and attention to detail. The food was simply fantastic – we had pasta, pizza, and the house wine; everything was fresh, authentic, and incredibly delicious. The service was also excellent: friendly, attentive, and yet pleasantly unobtrusive. The atmosphere is warm and inviting; you immediately feel at home.
We had a very nice stay at the "Gasthaus Bad Tölz" and were pleased right from the start with the super friendly and attentive staff - who even went so far as to bring me my forgotten gloves to the train station ❤️...
Thank you so much for this and we look forward to our next visit
Actually always very nice, but I once found melted rubber residue in the meat of my kebab box. Still had to pay full price. Hygiene is not particularly important
Delicious food, not exactly cheap, but definitely value for money. Here attention is also paid to the details and taste is the focus. I can only recommend it.
The pizza here isn't bad at all,
but it's not the best in my opinion.
There's no accounting for taste.
The ambiance and service are perfect.
I just don't think the prices are reasonable.
Beautiful quiet location.
Rooms super clean and comfortably furnished.
Service and food are simply top!
Can only be recommended.
We'd love to come back :)
I have tried only the Pizza that has gotten worse since the Italian Pizzaiolo left last year. The size of the Pizza is not the standard one (smaller than the plate) and the dough does not taste the same. It is a pity, because I think the ingredients are of good quality. My suggestion would be to hire a professional and a pizzaiolo, educated to make a proper Pizza.
The food was delicious. We were expecting authentic Vietnamese, but it was more of a fusion. It was a bit tricky to order because they only had a German menu. I recommend the Orange Chicken, Pak Choi, and Thai Basil Beef.
The portions were quite small for the price; we spent over 40 euros each and weren't completely full.
