Ein sehr schönes Lokal mit fantastischem Essen. Im Vergleich zur vorherigen Speisekarte sind die Preise jedoch deutlich gestiegen. Ich habe die alte Speisekarte dieser Bewertung beigefügt, damit andere den Unterschied sehen können. Ich hoffe, dass sie in Zukunft wieder zu ihren früheren Preisen zurückkehren können. Insgesamt ist es aber nach wie vor ein tolles Restaurant.

Der Kundenservice ist sehr schlecht. Das Personal ist unzureichend geschult, unprofessionell und nicht in der Lage, angemessen und respektvoll mit den Kunden zu kommunizieren.

Wenn Ryanair ein Restaurant wäre. Es gibt dort leckeres, sättigendes und günstiges Essen, das schnell und unkompliziert serviert wird. Es schmeckt gut und hat eine charmante, etwas ungewöhnliche Atmosphäre – eine Mischung aus Arabern in ihrem gewohnten Umfeld und Deutschen, die sich ethnisch authentisch fühlen wollen. Sie wissen schon. Kurzum: Es ist eine hervorragende Lösung für einen schnellen, günstigen Imbiss im Zentrum.

Das Schlimme ist, dass das Restaurant bereits sehr dreckig ist. Als ich nach dem Essen auf Toilette ging, hat mich regelrecht der Schlag getroffen. Das war die mit m Abstand die dreckigste Toilette, die ich in meinem Restaurant in meinem ganzen Leben gesehen habe, garantiert seit Wochen nicht geputzt. Die Toilette sah schlimmer aus als die alten Bahnhofstoiletten, bevor es Sanifair gab und zwar samstagabend um 23 Uhr. Wenn da mal die Lebensmittelkontrolle vorbeikommt, ist der Laden garantiert sofort dicht. einfach nur ekelhaft und ich bin nicht empfindlich.

Der Service war furchtbar. Das Personal ignorierte mich, obwohl das Restaurant nicht voll war. Das Essen würde ich mit 2 von 10 Punkten bewerten. Ich bestellte Mandi und Madfoon (Fleisch mit Reis) sowie Seebarsch mit saftigem Malouh (gefüllter Fisch). Fisch und Brot ließen über 20 Minuten auf sich warten, und der Fisch war kalt. Ehrlich gesagt, es hat sich nicht gelohnt. Ich kann es absolut nicht empfehlen. Die Suppe war gut. Der Seebarsch war gut. Das Brot war nicht gut. Der Zitronen-Minz-Saft war sehr bitter. Der Melonen-Wassermelonen-Saft war nicht gut. Ich entschuldige mich beim Besitzer, aber das ist meine Erfahrung.

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker. Die Portionen sind sehr großzügig. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ich hatte serbisches Hähnchen bestellt, das leider nicht geschmeckt hat. Es gab weder Salat noch Zitrone dazu, nichts. Der Zitronensaft war geschmacklos. Nicht empfehlenswert.

Das Beste daran war nur der gepresste Reis. Das Fleisch war etwas zäh, nicht mehr so ​​wie früher. Das Hähnchen war aber gut.

Ich habe ein Biryani bestellt, die Portion war groß und reichte locker für zwei Personen. Daqoos hat Verbesserungspotenzial. Dasselbe gilt für den Kundenservice. Ich bat um eine zusätzliche Portion, wurde aber nur schief angeschaut und ignoriert.

Der beste Ort zum Essen in München

Es herrscht eine ähnliche Atmosphäre wie bei einem Streetfood-Stand, und das Essen ist wirklich köstlich. Wir lieben das Lamm, das Hähnchen und das Brot. Und übrigens, der frische Fruchtsaft ist auch fantastisch.

Ehrlich gesagt, schreibe ich normalerweise keine negativen Bewertungen, aber dieses Restaurant ist wirklich schrecklich. Der Service, die Sauberkeit und das Essen sind unterirdisch. Schaut euch nur mal das Foto vom Essen an. Ich hatte Mandi (ein jemenitisches Reisgericht mit Fleisch) bestellt, und das Fleisch war altbacken und ungenießbar. Ich habe versucht, es zu essen, aber es war einfach nur widerlich. Ich bin zu dem Angestellten gegangen und habe ihm gesagt: „Schämen Sie sich, mir so altes Essen zu bringen! Sie haben es doch nur aufgewärmt!“ Er meinte: „Nein, wir haben keine Lebensmittel vom Vortag übrig.“ Ich sagte: „Kommen Sie doch mal und sehen Sie sich den Teller selbst an. Wenn Sie Ahnung vom Kochen haben, sehen Sie, dass es altbacken ist.“ Die Einstellung des Angestellten war unmöglich, und das Essen war einfach nur furchtbar. Mein Rat: Wenn Sie Wert auf sauberes Essen oder Zuverlässigkeit legen, meiden Sie dieses Restaurant unbedingt.

Das Essen hier ist fantastisch. So geschmackvoll! Die Gewürze sind authentisch. Ich kann es jedem empfehlen, der in München orientalische Küche sucht.

Alles, was wir gegessen haben, war köstlich! Das Baba Ghanoush war aromatisch, das Lamm mit Reis duftete herrlich nach Gewürzen, und das jemenitische Malawa-Brot war einfach himmlisch. Auch die Linsensuppe war duftend, wohltuend und voller Geschmack. Unsere Bedienung war unglaublich freundlich, und die Atmosphäre war warm und einladend. Ein wirklich wunderbarer Einstieg in die jemenitische Küche – reichhaltig, würzig und voller Aromen. Unbedingt probieren!

Essen war gut aber das Restaurant an sich ist echt eine Zumutung. Toiletten und innen drinnen schauts aus. Als Tischdecke bekommt man Müllsäcke die zerrissen werden. Verständigung ist auch nicht so gut gelaufen.

Wir waren schon öfter in diesem Restaurant – das Essen ist unglaublich lecker, der Service sehr schnell und die Preise sind angemessen. Unser Abendessen für zwei Personen kostete 35 Euro – zwei Ayrans, zwei Fleischgerichte und ein riesiges Fladenbrot. Die Karte bietet eine große Auswahl an frischen Säften, sogar Avocadosaft. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Süßspeisen, aber wir konnten nicht alles aufessen. Die Speisekarte ist sehr interessant und abwechslungsreich – wir kommen gerne wieder und probieren etwas anderes.

Einfach ein jemenitischer Traum. Bin zum 1.mal hier, habe somit echt viel verpasst. Ab jetzt mind 1 x die Woche fleissig durch die Karte essen. Mein Gericht (mit Lamm) ein Gedicht 🩷.

Wenn Sie Bab Al Yemen besuchen, müssen Sie unbedingt Fahsa probieren! Es ist ein dampfender Topf mit perfekt gewürztem, zartem Rindfleisch, der hervorragend zu dem riesigen, frisch gebackenen Moulawah-Brot passt. Wir bestellten außerdem die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte mit Dips, die eine tolle Auswahl an Geschmacksrichtungen bot. Ein fantastisches 5-Sterne-Essen von Anfang bis Ende!

Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, aber es gibt viele Taschendiebe, sodass Sie davon belästigt werden, wenn Sie an den Tischen im Freien sitzen.

Heute hatte ich eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Ich bestellte mein Essen und teilte dem Personal mit, dass ich beten gehen würde. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön und eines der besten in München, und der Fisch dort ist köstlich. Jeder, der München besucht, sollte unbedingt jemenitisches Essen probieren.

15. Oktober 2025, 19:04 Uhr Nachdem ich bezahlt hatte, gab mir der Kellner mein 50-Euro-Wechselgeld nicht zurück. Ich rief ihn drei- oder viermal, aber er ignorierte mich. Erst als ich direkt auf ihn zuging und die Situation zu eskalieren drohte, gab er mir die 50 Euro plötzlich zurück. Das Ganze wirkte äußerst verdächtig und inakzeptabel. So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Das Essen war gut, aber aufgrund dieser Erfahrung mit dem Service werde ich dieses Restaurant nie wieder besuchen.

Es ist ein preisgünstiges Familienrestaurant. Uns hat das Essen sehr gut geschmeckt.

Das Mandi ist ein riesiges Gericht, Reis mit Fleisch. Die Soße trocknet aus, weil sie in einer heißen Auflaufform weiterkocht, bis sie verdampft und ihren Geschmack verliert. Die Brühe ist dagegen ungenießbar. Der Service ist schlecht. Ehrlich gesagt, verdient das Restaurant keine Google-Bewertung.

Ich war nur einmal hier essen aber wir würden nicht überzeugt essen war sehr geschmacklos und die Preise dafür echt heftig. Personal war Recht freundlich. Über 250 Bewertungen aufgrund von Beschwerden wegen Diffamierung entfernt. Das Restaurant löscht negative Bewertungen und hat nur deshalb eine so gute Bewertung. The overcooked and poorly seasoned food was served in disposable aluminum plates on a plastic tablecloth (see photo). Dessert was also served in a disposable plastic bowl with a plastic spoon. Not exactly a carbon footprint – a point worth mentioning for climate activists. The "waiters" were unprofessional; they didn't clear used napkins with the plates but threw them back into the middle of the table, since everything, including the plastic tablecloth, was thrown away at the end. Water was served in plastic bottles without glasses, and the cutlery was the cheapest tin. I would classify it as a typical fast-food restaurant in Yemen, with all the quirks that are apparently common there. Therefore, it was an interesting experience, but one I personally wouldn't want to repeat. The restrooms and the overall cleanliness were remarkably poor. During our visit (Friday, 6:30-8:00 PM), when the bistro was busy, the back area was sprayed with what appeared to be an insecticide, and the dining area smelled of this chemical. (I recognize this smell from my time in Africa and India.) I consider this restaurant to be very authentic and quite suitable for adventurous individuals looking to broaden their horizons.

The employee is supposed to have a cheerful face and if you ask him for something, he should fulfill it in a nice way. Unfortunately, the service and treatment rating is zero. We hope you will take this observation into consideration because we are fans of Yemeni food. Best regards.

Terrible service and complete lack of honesty. I called 5 hours before arriving and was clearly told that this restaurant does not take reservations. When I showed up, the staff told us to wait for a specific table and promised we could take it once the guests finished. We waited over one full hour. As soon as the table became free, they suddenly changed the story and claimed it was “reserved” for a large group. This is either blatant lying or total incompetence, either way it shows zero respect for customers and their time. أهل اليمن بريئين من امثالكم

Quite a mediocre experience; extremely slow (and slightly inhospitable service), average taste (as per my taste buds), billing issues at the counter, small portion sizes for the price, long line, and above all they were allowing their friends to cut the line which further added to this frustration. Loved the ambience though. All in all, first and last visit here.

The food tastes good. But that's where the positives end. The place is dirty and run-down, and the staff aren't particularly welcoming. What really struck me, though, was that in a Yemeni restaurant there were more Yemeni flags than Palestinian ones – apparently, their own country, destroyed for years, has become boring. It seems you can still set priorities even when your own country is embroiled in a perpetual war. One has to wonder if the owners are even using their brains – real Yemenis would hardly have any sympathy for Islamists. And when politics is being played so demonstratively, it remains unclear what the owners actually stand for – and whether the money is really only being used for food or perhaps ending up in entirely different hands.

The staff are respectful, courteous, polite, and patient. The food is delicious.

We visited Bab Al Yemen on a busy night and the place was packed, which is always a good sign! Despite the crowd, we were lucky enough to find a table right away. I was impressed by how quickly the food arrived, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Definitely a must-visit in Munich for authentic Yemeni cuisine!

SCAM. UPDATE! The restaurant had my review deleted, claiming defamation. What dishonorable, pathetic, and greedy people run this canteen—shame on you! So be sure to keep your bill—if you even go there. Despite my explicit request, the waiter brought water—and then charged me for it: 3 euros for 200ml of tap water. Outrageous! Actually, according to Section 241a of the German Civil Code (BGB), I wasn't even entitled to payment. The food—taste-wise, it was okay at best. A wonderful restaurant, best enjoyed with a group! All of the food is suitable for sharing. Meat, rice, stews, dips, bread, etc. I had the Zurbian Lamm and it was incredible. The meat was so tender, fat, and delicious! Best enjoyed with your hands 😀

Even after eating for a while, there was still a large pot of meat left. A must-try for meat lovers! The beef is mostly lean, stewed until very tender, and the Asian flavors definitely suited my taste better. Dipping the flatbread in the broth was incredibly satisfying. It's better to go with a group so you can try more different dishes.

Very friendly and welcoming service. The food is absolutely delicious! The lamb is tender, and the portions are generous enough for even the hungriest of us. Freshly baked flatbread is served with the meal, allowing you to eat in the traditional way. The milk tea is truly outstanding. I had one before and one after the meal. It was beautifully flavored with cardamom and perfectly sweetened. The menu also offers a "whole lamb" option :-) We didn't order it, though, as there were only two of us.

Good food, quick service. We ordered two breads, a rice with chicken and a lamb topf. Everything was very good. This was enough food for three people. The only thing was they were out of sawarq (this green dip) which we ordered and gave us the red one instead but without telling us, so we were a bit confused. But it's really no big deal. For smaller desserts they have some options in the fridge. I enjoyed this peanut almond square dessert (do not know the name) immensely.
