Hello, I'm not the type of person who writes reviews, but that's what you have to do here. Bavarian, Moroccan and Israeli cuisine?? How cool was that? The Shakshuka was terrific. I'll invite my mother, then she won't always have to do it because it was really worthy of honor. My companion had a schnitzel with fried potatoes. What can I say: That was perfect. Not too little, not too much. Quality was really good and there must be a plan in the kitchen. Oh, they also have burgers. I guess I'll have to try it then. And finally: Augustiner on tap! Overall: Price performance absolutely okay. Ambience: yes, it was good (it's a matter of taste anyway). I grew up in the catering industry and have seen everything. I work in international sales and have been able to see so many kitchens, but I'm a large business owner in Neuhausen. TOP!!! Come again.

Super cozy inn with great food. The Kässpätzle are particularly impressive again and again. :) The non-alcoholic Augustiner, which has been available since this year, is also super delicious 😋

The roast pork with potato dumplings and dark sauce had a very bland taste and the Kaiserschmarren was served too quickly, tasted like vanilla and was too soft.

They are slowly dying out, the old inns. It makes you all the more happy when a restaurant continues the Munich tavern tradition and carefully leads it into the modern era. Pleasant renovated interior, not too loud, beautiful stucco ceiling, seating boxes/compartments for 4-6 people complete the picture. Classic food without any extras, that's how it should be. Service attentive but not intrusive. Nice outdoor seating in summer.

A real local gem. All of the quality without the pretentiousness that goes with a lot of the city.

We fondly remember the time in summer. The Augustiner beer goulash was a culinary delight.

I wanted to try an authentic German breakfast, so I looked for it and arrived right at opening time! Friendly and delicious!!! The sausage was soft and delicious, and the mustard sauce was a bit different than what I'm used to, but I liked it because it felt new.

The landlord is and has been an institution in Neuhausen for as long as I can remember. Watch football, drink a beer or simply eat well. Yesterday I was there again after many years to eat the duck. Service and drinks: Super friendly and fast even though it was quite busy. When it comes to drinks, they have some exciting spritzers/limos - I tried the "Grosswirtlimo" and found it very good Menu: A really exciting mix... Bavarian and a few things from the Middle East (one of the innkeepers is probably Israeli). I have to be honest and say that so far I have only ever tried the Bavarian one The food: I was terribly disappointed with the roast pork a few years ago (but I think it was under the old landlord), so I was really excited about the duck... The preparation itself was excellent, came off the bone wonderfully and was good but not overpoweringly seasoned. Personally, the meat was a bit too lean for me, but that's absolutely a matter of taste and the quality of the meat was still certainly good. As for the dumpling, I'm not sure whether it was homemade - but if it was purchased, it was certainly a very decent one. The red cabbage has fallen off a bit so I would like it to have more "oomph" but that's also a matter of taste. The sauce was great! The ambience is simply the Grosswirt... nice and rustic furnishings, which can sometimes be annoying when there's a lot going on and it's quite echoey. All in all, it was a success and I would love to come back again!

Top restaurant!! We were very happy with everything!!

We went to the Großwirt today with our little daughter and grandparents and were thrilled. The Israeli food was excellent, the spaetzle, burgers and baked potatoes also tasted great 👍 Particularly noteworthy is the friendly service (especially a grizzled waiter :)) He didn't seem annoyed by our lively daughter - on the contrary - he brought her crayons, children's dishes, etc.!

Super nice people and delicious food. Only the chairs could use a cushion. We had the Wiener Schnitzel and the knuckle, tip top. A little green on the plate would complete everything.

The food here tastes really good, especially the schnitzels! This was my second visit to the Großwirt and he was completely convincing again.

Munich schnitzel was good, hummus with beetroot too, everything was a little blandly seasoned, but the service was nice and quick.

Well the goulash was dry and for 20 euros I wasn't even remotely full. That's never been the case before. 2 others weren't full either so it wasn't my fault. It's a shame for the price. Larger portions would be nice

I can only recommend the restaurant. We had salmon tartare and shakshuka, everything was delicious. The service was very good. But you should reserve a table, the restaurant was full. We'll be back.

We were absolutely thrilled! Super nice service, all dishes were really tasty. Even as a vegetarian, I had a great selection here and can only warmly recommend it! I had one of the best Israeli dishes I've ever eaten here. We would love to come back here as soon as we visit Munich. Thanks:)

Really fantastic and absolutely recommended! Everything really worked out. The onion roast and (!) the Israeli platter. We thought it was great that there was the courage to combine these two kitchens with each other.

Anyone who expects leather pants, checked shirts, dirndls and roast pork behind the name will be disappointed. Everyone else will be satisfied with fine food, friendly service and a harmonious ambience.

Very nice atmosphere, conditions very nice and attentive, food very tasty.

It's good that one of our Italian guests received this tip from friends in Munich. The food was excellent, the service was courteous and attentive and the outdoor ambience was pleasantly quiet and relaxed that evening. If I end up in Munich again, I'll be happy to come back.

Service was flawless, you can't complain. My first time in Munich and I was very positively surprised. I've definitely experienced worse. Spain played against Italy, there was a great atmosphere and the service was top. Definitely recommended, you can't go wrong.

We had pre-booked a table for three people and had just sat down. We were told that we should sit somewhere else because a family of four needed the space. Somewhat surprised, we moved to a narrow high table with bar stools and wanted to accept our fate. But now we're around 70 years old and we actually wanted to eat and drink properly, but tables like this aren't such a hit. What can I say, we then went somewhere else and were not given a very loving farewell by the manager, to whom we explained everything. By the way, we were treated very kindly in the other restaurant and got a wonderful table at the bar after a short wait. I think we are simply too old for the big business and will go somewhere else in the future, as will our friends and acquaintances.

Furnished like a traditional Munich restaurant, the menu has an amazing range from Bavarian to Middle Eastern - clear recommendation!

Service was top. We were taken care of quickly and drinks were at the table in no time. We didn't have to wait long for the food either. We decided on schnitzel dishes and burgers, among other things. The craftsmanship was very good. It was a bit of a shame that the barbecue sauce wasn't our own. But I'm not deducting a star for that. We were satisfied.

Had the goucho salad. The grilled zucchini and potato really add flavour. Dressing was excellent. A must try!

“76 Years of Israel”. I was amazed when I read that on the menu today. To be honest, I was horrified and couldn't believe it. If you don't want to deal with current topics, then at least just say nothing at all. A pity. I'm definitely not coming back, the food or whatever is still as good. 76 years of Nakba would have been better, but it certainly doesn't sell that well...

The favorite service I've experienced in a long time. Very accommodating and friendly. Food arrived very quickly and tasted very high quality. The menu is mixed with Bavarian, Austrian and Israeli dishes. There is a bar garden where you can also sit outside. Always happy!

Nice staff and very tasty food at fair prices. What we liked most is that the menu includes dishes from Israeli cuisine. Which in today's world unfortunately proves not only the cosmopolitanism, but above all the courage of the tenant. Mainly for this reason we went and were not disappointed. But the typical tavern cheese spaetzle was also excellent. We'll be back to eat Shakshuka soon☺️ Keep it up 👍🏻

At the Großwirt, I haven't been here for a while. In the meantime there was probably a change of tenant. A decent selection of food, roast pork only on 2 days a week. There was also a weekly menu. What surprises me for a Bavarian pub, 90% of the starters are Israeli dishes, why???? The music that is playing also has nothing to do with a tavern. A pity. But overall the food was decent, the staff was friendly. Still only 3 stars because of the composition of the card. That's a shame, I didn't want to go to a trendy bar. Sorry. Update after owner comment: If you can't handle honest criticism and "save" the comment, I'll save another star. Because Bavarian taverns are different. Update after further addition from the owner: I can't handle criticism? But they make it easy for themselves. Don't comment or explain, just assert. I have already changed reviews after good discussions with operators. And I honestly don't care who comes to them and whether everyone finds something on the menu. A Bavarian tavern with Israeli starters is not a Bavarian tavern. Point. Speaking of which, I am correcting by one point because of the operator's unobjective manner.

Very solid Bavarian inn in Neuhausen. In addition to Bavarian, specialties from the Middle East are also offered. It's striking that in addition to falafel, chumus and other dishes from Israel🇮🇱 also make it onto the menu. There are also plenty of vegetarian or vegan dishes. Fish is underrepresented, but that's not necessarily expected in the Bavarian pub. The roast pork with crust met the requirements and was also average in price. Chumus served with pita was quite tasty. The falafel came to the table wrapped in a kind of pita sandwich. The Tyrolean dumplings (taler) were a little surprising, as their shape and consistency were more reminiscent of Bohemian dumplings. But they didn't taste bad. The service was super nice. A lot of young families, but also groups, go to this restaurant.

We were registered with our club for a fish dinner on Ash Wednesday. In addition to the herring on the standard menu, there was exactly one fish dish - sea bream. Little choice for a fish meal. The sea bream was good, the service was fine. Nice Bavarian economy but unfortunately not for the occasion.

Hearty, down-to-earth inn with a touch of Munich elegance. Food is plentiful and good (typical Bavarian delicacies, but also Israeli snacks like hummus), service is very friendly! Prices are reasonable. On weekends it is advisable to make a reservation in the evening, this is a very popular restaurant.

Well, we don't need to talk about prices here. They are now salted everywhere in Munich. The price-performance ratio is still right here. Very nice service, nice atmosphere. It's a shame that we don't have roast pork every day. Would have loved to eat one on Thursday! But it's only available 2 days a week...not on Thursday!

As others have already written, the roast pork for 20, 20 euros is already priced in Galician regions! Here the VAT adjustment was "adjusted" from 12% to 25%. Actually a nice real Munich economy, but now on the way to the stars 😎

The roast pork now costs 16.80 euros and the coleslaw 3.40 euros. Makes 20.20 euros. That's a significant increase over 2023 and spoils your appetite. It's a shame, because we've always enjoyed going there and so far the price-performance ratio has been relatively okay compared to the restaurants in the area. So unfortunately without us from now on.

Very decent inn that serves Augustiner. I was having lunch with older people. The offering is varied: There is a very decent roast pork. I had a "75 Years of Israel" plate of Middle Eastern appetizers that I recommend.

Richtig schönes, altes, typisches bayrisches Restaurant. Gepflegtes Augustiner Bier vom Holzfass. Vielfältige Speisekarte und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Uns hat’s richtig gut geschmeckt!

Essen war sehr Gut! Nur (von mir probiert) waren die Kaiserschmarrn Verbesserungswürdig! Trotzdem zu empfehlen! Persönlich kann ich den Cheeseburger empfehlen!

Wir haben dort unsere Weihnachtsfeier gemacht und ich muss sagen alles war absolut top. Das Essen hat super geschmeckt und kam Recht schnell. Es war ein sehr gelungener Abend.
